How to succeed on Linkedin with AI

In this hour‑long live tutorial, Joe Apfelbaum demonstrates a step‑by‑step workflow for leveraging his AI‑powered Chrome extension, Evvy AI, to amplify LinkedIn success. He explains why strategic activity (posting, commenting, direct messaging, connection notes, profile optimization) drives exposure, credibility, and meetings, and shows how the tool automates each task. The demo covers installing the extension, registering an account, navigating the dashboard (Home, Saved Profiles, Post Writer, Personas, My Account), creating and managing personas, saving key contacts into lists, generating personalized comments and posts with GPT‑3.5 or GPT‑4, drafting and editing connection requests, replying to InMails, leaving recommendations, and cleaning up connections. Joe emphasizes the importance of editing AI drafts to retain a human voice, using the tool to stay top‑of‑mind with a small set of high‑value contacts, and scaling activity to 15 minutes a day for measurable results. He also promotes his Evergreen AI Business Development Circle mastermind, pricing for premium access, and encourages viewers to join posting parties and provide feedback. Throughout, he stresses that AI is an aid—not a replacement—for relationship building.

LinkedIn with AI is today's topic, and we're going to be talking about the step-by-step method to use AI together with LinkedIn to succeed. Now, there are many ways to be able to use AI with LinkedIn, and I'm going to show you one particular way that will help you be able to take your life and your business to the next level by getting more exposure building more credibility and ultimately booking more meetings. Because at the end of the day, the level of success that you're going to have on LinkedIn is going to be determined by the level of conversations that you have on a regular basis. So if I'm on LinkedIn right now and I just happen to go on the feed, right, linkedin.com/feed, you're going to see posts are just loading on the feed. And if I see a post that loads on the feed, for example, from Conrad, I'm gonna give the post a like and I'm gonna wanna leave a comment, but often I don't want to leave a generic comment. I wanna leave a very specific comment that talks about the things he spoke about, but I don't really have 5 minutes or 10 minutes to be able to invest in each comment because I'm focused on actually having conversations and building my business. So I'm gonna have my assistant, my AI assistant help me do this. It's gonna say, thank you for sharing this, Conrad. I'm gonna modify it a bit. The startup program seems like a really great platform for budding entrepreneurs. I can attest to the importance of such guidance. The fact the program takes zero equity— you see that? I recommend everyone consider a startup like this. Good for you. Good for you for doing this. Let's connect soon. Okay. I'm gonna add, boom. All right, so now I tagged him. I added a line at the end over there. I read through the whole thing. It made sense. And it was a really good, a really good comment. Now this post, because he included a link in it, is not gonna get a lot of exposure. It's not gonna get a lot of, not a lot of people are gonna see it, but he is gonna notice my comment over here. He's gonna get an email with this comment. It's gonna go into his notifications 'cause I mentioned him. Really powerful way to stay top of mind with people that are important in your network. Now you might be asking me, Joe, why is Conrad important in my network? Well, he's a center of influence. He has over 1,000 followers. I actually have a relationship with him. He knows who I am. He knows what I do for a living. He's referred me clients. I've referred him clients. It's a win-win, mutually beneficial relationship that I need to be staying top of mind with. But not only that, what I want to do is I also want to save his profile into Evy AI, which is the AI that I'm using. E-V-Y-A-I. Because I installed the Google Chrome extension, I'm able to just save his profile by clicking one button, and that saves his profile into my account. That'll allow me with one click of a button to see all his recent activities, and also it'll remind me to leave comments on his posts. In a way that will help me be able to stay top of mind more often. So if you're not using technologies and tools to help you be able to be more successful, you're really gonna be missing out on opportunities to be able to do what you need to do. I'm just gonna delete these little hashtags here. I don't really like that. Excited to learn more about— let's get on a call. This week, and I'm going to tag him. Boom! See that? I'm going to tag him and let him know that I'm really thinking about him. This was three days ago. This was sixteen hours ago. I made sure to comment on both of these posts, and now I'm top of mind with him. Now think about how often you're doing that with your connections. Think about how often you're doing that with your network. Somebody reached out to me recently and said, "Joe, can you give me a tutorial on how to use Evy AI?" So I'm going to go to evyai.com right over here. Here. This is the tool that I'm using, evyai.com. Now you have different options. You can click on the Get Started button over here or add to Evy AI to Chrome. Once you add it to Chrome, you just log in. The other option is if you don't want to install the Chrome extension, you can use it by going to the app. See where it says Go to App here? When you click on Go to App, it just goes into the app. If you're not logged in— I'm going to press Log Out, I'll show you what it looks like. I just logged out. You could put in your name and password if you have it. If not, you can click on register. When you click on register, it'll ask you for your first name, your last name, your email, your phone number, your LinkedIn account, which is your LinkedIn URL, linkedin.com/in/. For me would be /JoeApfelbaum. Your password, you put it twice, you agree, you sign up, and you have a good day. That is the easiest way to register. You can also register with Google or sign in with Google. It makes it really easy by just clicking on the Google thing. I'm just going to click on sign in with Google. I'll show you what it looks like. And it just signs right in with Google. As you can see, it makes it really, really seamless to get in. Now I'll give you a little tour of the platform real quick, and then we'll get into LinkedIn and show you how the Chrome extension works. The home over here shows you all the recent activities. If you want to see more recent activities, you click on see all. It'll show you everything that you've done. As you can see, I left 1, 2, 2 comments today, both on Conrad's posts. But then I was active on Friday. You see a bunch of activity on Friday here. And this is also how you can measure your activity to see if you're actually taking action each day. If you click on save profiles, you can see I saved Conrad's profile. You can easily reorder. You can add people to lists over here. You can see I have clients and networking and, and so on and so forth. I have many different people that I've added to these lists and I highly recommend that you manage your lists on here, add the right lists and add people to your lists. The next is your post writer. So if you wanna write posts, you can tell it what you wanna write about and you can select a persona, you select your goal, your tone, and then you press generate. If you upgrade to our premium version, you get GPT-4, which is a much, much smarter AI and it's extremely affordable to be able to create posts like this. I recommend posting a few times a week and allowing this tool to help you write the post makes life much easier. I don't recommend using that post as is. I would recommend editing the post a bit to make it sound a little bit more like you. But if you do a good job at creating a persona, I'm gonna give you an example of my persona here. This persona tells you the name of the person, the industry, the keywords, the tone, and then you can put your background and history. So the format that I did it was name, industry, company, keywords, and then my interests and so on. You see that knows who I am, what companies I own, my website, all that stuff. There are many different ways that you can put personas in. I put another persona here for Joe Apfelbaum, and this one over here, I basically told it a story. Joe Apfelbaum is the CEO of Ajax Union, a B2B digital marketing agency. You see that? So personas make life a lot easier. I have different personas for different people. I have different personas for different companies as well because I can also leave comments as a company page. Then if you click on my account, you can delete your account, manage your subscription, or click on settings to be able to see all the different settings you have. Okay, let's get right into LinkedIn. The way that I'm going to get into LinkedIn is by going to click on saved profiles and I'm going to go to Michael Bendett's recent activity. Michael Bendett is someone I just had a conversation with. Um, and I just click on recent activity and it takes me right into his recent activity. Now, as you can see, I already had left a, a comment right over here. You see that I left a comment for him. He's not posting frequently. I told him about Evvy AI so he can start posting more regularly. And we may be doing a posting party soon. So if you'd like to join the posting party, just write posting party in the chat of this, in the comments of this, and I'll invite you to that posting party that we have where people can get together and post as a group. Let me quickly take a look at my most recent posts just to kind of see who's on here. Let me know what city you're dialing in from if you're here live, and let me know what industry you're in. So if I click on comments over here, be able to see, uh, Gunner. Hey Gunner, good to see you. So good to see you. Joe, we aren't seeing the EverAI screen. The screen got stuck on Conrad's profile. Not seeing anything. I don't see it. Huh. I'm curious to know if you can see this now. Let me stop sharing my screen real quick. Uh, stop sharing. Okay. Can you see my screen? Could you see my face? I'm curious to know if you could see my face now. Say, Joe, I can see your face because we kind of got stuck over here. I think I'm just going to redo the video after. Um, so curious to know if you guys could see my face over here or you cannot see my face. Were you able to see everything that I was doing? I thought I, I thought I switched a tab around, but maybe I didn't. I don't know. Let me know in the chat where you're dialing in from. Let me know in the chat if you can see my face now, and we will continue, and I will give you a full tour of Evie AI, the background, the platform, everything. So let me know if you can see it. I'm gonna just give myself a heart. By the way, if you're watching this live right now, gimme a heart in the, in the heart. You know, there's a heart. Let me know where you're dialing in from. Let me know that you could see my face. I'm gonna look at the most recent comments. I could see your face, but not the AI demo. Okay, so let me share the screen again now, Gunnar. Let me just share the screen again. I'm just gonna share the whole window. Um, let me see. Okay, I just shared this whole window, so hopefully you can see the window now. So now these are the comments. This is the only way that I can actually see the comments in real time properly. So if I click on my most recent activity, Okay, I'm looking at what you're looking at now. I just have the monitor up now. So before I didn't have the monitor up, I was just going for it. Now I'm gonna click on comments and I can see the most recent comments. Okay, most relevant, most recent. Okay, Oklahoma City. Ooh, Gunners in Oklahoma. By the way, I went to the place of the Oklahoma City bombings when I drove to California. I think it was 2 years ago. Very nice city. It's a very nice city. They have a very nice memorial there. I'm curious to know, Gunnar, if you've gone there. Manisha said hello from Virginia. I see your screen and your face now. I missed the first part on how to get to the AI tool. Okay, so let's get— let's go to the AI tool right now. I'm gonna open up a new tab over here. I'm gonna go to evyai.com. Okay, so this is the website I was talking about before. It's evyai.com. When you go there, you have 2 options. You could either click on Get Started here and download the Chrome extension. If you don't want to download the Chrome extension, some people don't right away, they want to first create an account, you can just click on Go to App over here. Click on Go to App and it loads the app open. Now in the beginning, the first part of the app, there's Home, there's a navigation on the left called Save Profiles, Post Writer, Personas, and My Account. The home allows you to see all your recent activity. So these are the 2 comments that I left today. These are the comments that I left last week. As you can see, every single comment, every single post, every single message, every invitation that I have over here. You see, I invited Keith over here and Keith actually connected with me. Okay, so this is a great way for you to be able to see what you're doing on LinkedIn. When you click on saved profiles, you'll be able to see all the profiles that I saved. So you— I think I showed you guys before how I saved Conrad's profile. But I'm gonna go ahead and actually save Gunnar's profile as well. Just so you can see, I control-clicked on this link over here. It opened up. Now I'm gonna save Gunnar's profile into Evvy AI. Now this makes it really easy for me to be able to see all his recent activities. As you can see, it loaded right here. So whenever I want to be able to load a list of people, let's say maybe clients or networking or referral partners, So for example, Gunnar's a client. I'm going to click on see all activity. Now I can quickly leave comments on Gunnar's profile. I can see all his recent posts over here. I already left a comment over here for him today, so I'm not going to leave another one, but I'm going to support this post over here. I'm going to click here. I'm going to select my persona. I'm going to press generate, and I'm actually going to leave a very nice comment about PPC because I'm a big fan of PPC in general. So I'm gonna ask the AI to write a comment. Thanks for sharing that marketing is indeed a powerful tool. However, it's important to remember a well-rounded digital marketing strategy leveraging AI. Blah blah blah blah blah. Okay, boom. Okay, that's that's exactly what I would want to say. I'm going to tag him. I'm going to say thanks for engaging in my live today. Boom. Okay, so you see the way I added a little bit more context there. And now I'm the only one that left a comment here. So Gunner's for sure going to see it. He's going to remember me. And I'm adding more value to his life by doing that. And it's just so fast, so fast that I was able to do that. Think about that just for a moment, how quickly I was able to do that. Why? 'Cause he's on my list now. Now he's on my list of people that I'm gonna be looking out for to see if he has posted or not. You see Richard Moore? I'm gonna drop a comment on Richard Moore. I wanna stay top of mind with people like Richard Moore that train people on how to use sales because I want him to know about my tool. He has 74,000 followers. See that? 74,000 followers. I'm gonna give him a little, 15 minutes ago he posted something. He already has 11 comments. It looks like all of them are his, but who cares? I'm gonna drop a comment right over here. I'm gonna give him, I'm gonna use GPT-3.5, which is a little bit faster, but it's not as great. The comment is not gonna be as great. I'm gonna press insert. I'm gonna remove these hashtags. I'm gonna be like, thanks for being you. Boom. Okay, I'm also going to tag him so he gets notified, and I press post. And now I just left him a beautiful comment. You see that? Okay, so that, that's, that's something that I would highly recommend you guys consider doing— saving profiles. The other thing that I would tell you to do is write a post. Now, writing a post with Evvy AI is really simple. You select your goal, you select your tone, and you select your persona. So over here, I'm going to select a persona. Give me 3 reasons to use Evvy AI with LinkedIn to get more exposure. Exposure. Okay, now I'm going to select GPT-4, which is a little more advanced. It does take a little bit longer for you to create the post using GPT-4 simply because it's going through 1.7 billion parameters as opposed to 175 billion parameters. So 1.7 trillion, I should say. So the reason why ChatGPT-4 takes a little bit longer is because it has to go through 1.7 trillion parameters to be able to get the data and the information versus ChatGPT-3.5 is a little bit faster, but not as smarter because it only goes through 175 billion, not trillion, billion parameters. So as you can see, it created a hook. It created main points. I told it to create 3, and then it created a call to action and it created hashtags. You see that? Now I can use this in a post. So I'm gonna press copy here. I can easily go inside my LinkedIn homepage and I can click on start a post and I can drop it in and start a post just like that. You see how easy that was? Now I'm gonna press save as a draft. I'm gonna save it as a draft. I'm using another tool that helps me kind of edit things and use bold text and so on. So I'm not going to do that now, but now I have a post that's ready to go that I'm going to add an image, I'm going to remove the link, I'm going to modify it a little bit. And as you can see, I used Evvy AI to write a post just like that. Let me go in and take a look at your comments here just real quick, just to see what you guys are up to here. I'm going to press refresh just to kind of see what you guys are doing here, what you're talking about with me. Guys, let me know what industry you're in. I'm curious to know in the chat. Go ahead, tell me your industry. I'm going to click on more recent. Okay, so Gunner says, can you create multiple contacts in Evie AI? Yes, you can create multiple lists. You can create, I believe with the free version, you can create maybe one, and with the paid version, you can create many more. So yes, you can create multiple lists in Evie AI. And we're updating the extension so that you can access the lists from LinkedIn as well, Gunnar. That's coming up. It was supposed to come last week Wednesday, but it's coming up very soon. Amy said, is the extension part of LinkedIn? Is it LinkedIn approved or is it a third party? It is, it is a Google Chrome extension that does not automate LinkedIn. And it complies with the terms of LinkedIn. Okay, Amy, we purposely made it not Amy Gutmann. We purposely made sure that it doesn't automate anything on LinkedIn. Like for example, if I want to send somebody a connection request on LinkedIn, a lot of the times, you know, there are tools out there that will automatically allow you, it will just automatically connect you with people, right? I'm not a fan of that because it's against LinkedIn's terms and conditions. We will just draft the connection note and I'll show you how that works. But for those of you that are curious, if you go to evyai.com, E-V-Y-A-I.com, you click on add to Google Chrome, it's going to open up the Google Chrome extension. You see Google Chrome extension and you can just press add over here. And it'll add it. Once it adds it on the top, you'll be able to see this little purple icon here. Now this little purple icon only accesses LinkedIn, and then you just log in from the purple icon here. You see on the top right corner of the screen, if you don't see the purple icon, you just have to click on the little puzzle sign and you just got to pin it so that you'll always see it there. And then from here you can click on write a new post, you can do personas, you can get right into recent activities, save profiles, you can access everything from here as well. So yeah, now a lot of people have questions about personas, like how do you do the training for Evvy AI to be able to know who you are and what you do? I actually created a LinkedIn newsletter. So how to train AI to know who you are on LinkedIn. So if you click on that, I basically give you some code and tell you exactly what you need. You need your name, your industry, your title, companies, keywords, professional interests, achievements, communication style, You basically prepare all this stuff and then you can copy and paste it in. And here I explain everything for you. I just break it down to make it really simple. Once you train the AI on who you are, just kind of like this, name, industry, title, field of expertise, skills, communication style, personal interests, goals, and background. And then you paste that into app.evy.ai. So you go here, go to app, you see that? And then you add the persona over here. See where it says personas? And over here, I just added that right here, which is Joe Apfelbaum 2. I'm going to press edit. And now I'm able to just add name, industry, keywords, tone, and then your background information. You paste it and then you press update persona. And then when you want to leave a comment on LinkedIn, for example, I want to leave a comment for Harrison. I'm going to press comment. I'm going to select the Evvii icon. I'm going to select Joe Apfelbaum 2, which is the persona. I'm going to press Create, generate. It's going to read Harrison's post. It's going to generate a nice little comment. And then once it generates the comment, I could just press the insert button right over here. I can actually save it, copy it out if I want. It tells you how many words, how many characters. I'm going to press insert. Harrison, I'm going to tag him. Okay, and it's going to say your emphasis on personal branding is spot on. As a CEO, I've seen personal strong blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. I'm gonna write, boom, regards from eviai.com, by the way. Okay, I'm gonna press boom. So now I just left him a nice little comment here and he knows it's an inside joke that I use Evie AI on his posts and he loves it. So I totally save people's profiles so that it's made really, really easy for me to drop comments, you know? And the beauty is even if you don't train it, look, I'm not gonna train it with my persona here. It just goes a lot faster because it's not sending a persona out and I'm using 3.5. But look how quickly I completely agree with the blah blah blah blah blah blah. That's still a really decent comment. It's not the best comment, but it's a very decent comment. So I highly recommend you guys consider doing this. So now I'm going to write boom from me, and then I'm going to switch it to Evie AI. You see that? I'm going to switch it to Evie AI, and now I'm going to leave a comment as You see that? I'm gonna select the company page 'cause I trained it on who my company page is. And now it's gonna leave the company page. It's gonna leave a comment as the company page. Indeed, Kevin, finding purpose as an AI-powered LinkedIn assistant, Evvy AI, we strive to help you. You see that? So I just, I'm saying thanks for sharing. You are the best. And I'm gonna tag Kevin. I'm gonna tag Kevin Williams. Okay, so now my company page left a comment. So I left a comment as Joe Apfelbaum. I left a comment as Evvy AI. Let me go back into my recent activity over here just to kind of see what you guys are talking about. Um, any questions that you guys have, I'm happy to answer them. I'm gonna click on comments here. I'm gonna do most recent. Okay, so there's a couple of things that I want you guys to know that this tool does. Um, but in the meantime, go ahead and write what you do for a living. What is your industry? Like Jane, Jane said recruitment and career transition coaching. I'm gonna write, thanks for sharing. Write your industry below. Jane. Okay. Write your industry below so this way I can acknowledge you. You are welcome. So I often make mistakes when I type, but the AI usually does not make any typos, any mistakes like that. So that's one of the reasons why I really, really like this AI because it makes everything so seamless and so quick and it makes me sound so professional. But again, you wanna modify it a little bit. You wanna really make it sound like you. So a lot of people that ask me about how to do this, I just kind of show you. Look at that. Okay. So Gunner is B2B digital marketing. Amy is not-for-profit and a business consultant. I love that. I love that. Now this tool is extremely powerful because the tool allows you to do a couple of things. I'm going to walk you through some of the powerful things that you can do. So direct messaging. So for example, this person over here sent me a message saying, can you handle another 10 to 15 appointments? That, that That's annoying. Okay, that's annoying. So I'm gonna write, no, I'm not interested, but I don't wanna be mean. I wanna be nice. So I'm gonna select my persona and I'm gonna say, not interested, but can you do me a favor and test out evviai.com and let me know what you think? Okay, that would be helpful. All right. Now I'm gonna have the Evvy AI actually generate a much nicer reply, 'cause you see there's typos here. I wrote not interested. You see, that's not a proper nice response. So check this response out. Hey, Zunira, thanks for reaching out to me with your generous offer. At the moment, I have no need for appointment setters. However, I appreciate your initiative and the human-powered approach you're taking. As a favor, could you please take a moment to check out evviai.com? It's an AI project I'm currently working on, and I'd love to hear thoughts on that. By the way, in the chat, write wow if you think that was amazing. Write wow. Do you see the way I wrote up this entire response to a stranger that reached out to me? I'm gonna stop sharing my screen just for a second. I just wanna emphasize this for a second. Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn. They sent me a direct message. They tried to sell me something that I don't need. Instead of getting annoyed, I ask them to check out my website, my business, and give me feedback on my business. Now, if the person actually wants to build a relationship and not just try to sell me something, I just give them work to do for me. Now, it could be you give them a post to comment on. It could be you ask them to give you a like, a recommendation, to do something for you. They're reaching out to you instead of me hiring them, I say, do something for me, do me a favor, evaluate this, review this, give me your feedback. If I get 2 or 3 of these a day, I don't have the bandwidth to ask people to do this for me. But with Evy AI, the AI can write a customized, personalized, beautiful, professional response as a DM, and not automated. It's not automated at all. But it's really well thought out. It's really nice and really eloquent and really professional. And then it sends— it writes a DM. I modify it a bit and I send the DM just like that to a stranger. And it turns into opportunities. I actually got a client as a result of me replying to InMails. So don't get annoyed at InMails that you get. Don't get annoyed of random people hitting you up. Instead, Turn that around and find a way to leverage that. I always say the quality of the questions that you ask yourself will determine the quality of the life and the quality of the business that you'll have. So instead of saying, why are people sending me messages? Why does LinkedIn have to be so annoying? Say, how can I leverage this? How can I turn this into money? How can I turn this into an opportunity? How can I turn this into something that will help my life and my business and be able to take me to the next level? Put a dollar sign in the chat if you resonate with this. And if you like this DM strategy to be able to reply to people who hit you up, especially if those people are CEOs, presidents, owners of companies, centers of influence. I— do you have any idea how many times a CEO or president of a company reaches out to me? Now it's probably their assistant sending me that, but now I just gave them work to do. I gave them work to do, work for me. To be able to help me in my goal, because they have their goal. They want to set appointments or whatever. They didn't even qualify me or build a relationship or even look at what I do for a living. They sent me that message. Now I'm going to give them some work to do, and let's see if they do that work. Very powerful. Put a dollar sign in the chat if you agree with this, if you think it's a good strategy, or let me know what you think of it in general. I'm curious to know. I'm going to share my screen again. All right, let's get right back into what we were doing. So DMing is one of the things that I highly recommend that you guys do, just like I did over here. Direct message. The other thing that I showed you before was leaving comments on posts. Okay, so commenting on posts, really important. You can leave a comment as a person, or you could leave a comment as a company page. I showed you how to do that before. Leaving a comment as a person is really powerful. It promotes your profile. Leaving a comment as a company page promotes your company page. Now you don't have to train the AI. I like training the AI, giving it a training, telling it who I am so it knows who I am, and then the comment is more in my tone, but you technically don't have to do that. So I'm going to tag Jane over here. Jane leaves a lot of comments for me, as you can see that. I'm going to press post, and she definitely leaves a lot of comments. I want to make sure that I'm supporting her and that I'm leaving comments for her as well. So as you're going through the feed, my recommendation is definitely leave comments Mordechai is a client of mine, really nice guy. I definitely wanna reply. Now if you're using a 3.5 version, it's gonna be a little bit faster, maybe 5 seconds faster, but the content is not gonna be as nailed as the, as the other one. So I'm gonna definitely tag Mordechai so that he knows, and I'm gonna press post, and now he's gonna get, he's gonna be top of mind with me. Now, the beauty about leaving comments is that you're not only top of mind with the person that posted, but you're also top of mind with their network. If you just scroll through the LinkedIn feed, a lot of the times you'll see comments that people left that show up under a particular post as they load. That is a really great thing. I do see that a lot when I'm scrolling through the feed, and I definitely scroll through the feed to see what's going on. And there's a lot of opportunities. And, you know, at the end of the day, a lot of the times I want to leave a comment. You see that Sherry left a comment? I want to leave a comment, but because I missed the opportunity or I saw nobody left a comment, I often— a lot of people don't want to be the first one to leave a comment. But if you see that Sherry left a comment, okay, you see Sherry left a comment, I'm going to want to leave a comment as well. Okay, so Sherry left a comment. I'm going to say, thanks for sharing these results. Wow. Okay. I'm just going to press boom. You see the way she responded? Now I can respond to this comment over here. See that? I can go in here and I can also respond to the comment with AI. I could respond to me or I could respond to a comment or I can just write it up myself like I did over here. But the comment that I left is much more eloquent. The comment that I have AI write is much more eloquent than the comment that I basically can just come up with. And it takes me just as much time, if not less time, to use the artificial intelligence. And it's not also not using my brainpower as much. I don't have to sit here and just, you know, use my creative juices for that. Instead, I could reserve my creative juices for customizing the comment. Hey Jen, thanks for the opportunity. The BBM sounds like a fantastic— Dr. Jessica's journey is truly inspiring. And I'm just gonna delete the rest of the comment. I don't need, I don't need to have that. I don't need to have the entire comment there. You see, I made it a little bit shorter. But as you can see, I showed you DMing, I showed you commenting, I showed you writing a post. Writing a post is extremely powerful as well. Now you could also do something called sending invitation notes. I don't know if you guys ever send invitation notes on LinkedIn, but when you're sending a, When you're— when you see somebody that's like an interesting person that you're not yet connected to, I do see a lot of people. Like, I'm going to click on Richard Moore's profile over here. As you can see, there's a lot of people here. Like, for example, Nick. I'm going to click on Nick's profile. It's going to open up his profile. Now, Nick is based in Philadelphia. He helps experts grow. He has 5,000 followers. Seems like an interesting guy. He is posting a lot. I want him to know that Evvy AI exists. He also has a premium profile. I'm going to click on the more button and I'm going to send him a connect button. I'm going to click on add a note. Now the thing is, I don't want Nick to just think that I'm a spammer. So instead what I'm going to do is I'm going to write a very nice custom invitation note that hopefully Nick will want to, that he'll want to answer. So I wrote the following. Nick, I help experts like you grow their business to expand their impact with over $100 million generated through coaching, consulting, and online courses. I have the expertise to support your goals. Are you open to connecting on LinkedIn? Oh, hell no. That's not— I don't wanna say that. That would be terrible. Okay, so I'm gonna go back and I'm going to generate another one here and let's see what it says. Nick, I came across your impressive profile in helping experts grow their business. Your expertise and skills in marketing strategy and entrepreneurship caught my attention. Are you open to— Oh, much better. Okay. Less salesy, much, much better. I'm gonna press send, and now I just sent him a beautiful connection request. Now typically, I don't always know what to say in a connection note. That's why AI helping me out with that is really, really, really helpful. But it doesn't always work out on the first time. I wanna emphasize something. I'm gonna stop sharing my screen for a second just to emphasize something for you. AI is not always going to get it right. As a matter of fact, Often AI's gonna get it wrong. So what you need to do is you need to take the time to read what the AI published and think about how can you train the AI or customize the AI to help it be smarter. It's not gonna always nail it, but writing is never perfect. Stephen King said, writing is human, editing is divine. So I want you to realize that it's much easier to use AI to create your first draft, but then spend the time editing that draft to make sure that it actually sounds like you, that it sounds like human, and that it's good. Like I said, it's a lot easier to edit than it is to write from scratch. Use your creative energy to edit content, make it perfect, make it divine, and then have that human connection and build a relationship instead of having typos or instead of procrastinating or not taking action. Action comes— results come from taking action, and action comes from making it easier for yourself. So leverage AI and it'll make your life easier. So, so far I showed you how to do a few things on this tool. Number 1, I showed you how to post. Number 2, I showed you how to comment, both commenting from a profile and commenting from a company page. Number 3, I showed you how to reply to DMs, direct messages like InMails. Number 4, I showed you how to customize a connection note. Now there are many other things you can do with this tool. You can customize your profile, you can personalize your About section. When you go to your About section, you click on the pencil, you have a little Evy AI button there, and you can personalize it. You can also leave a recommendation for somebody. If somebody did something nice for you and you want to leave a recommendation, you can tell Evy AI what they did for you, open up the recommendation box, click on the purple icon, it'll customize a recommendation. You can save a profile if there's somebody that you want to save and put them into a list. You can save the profile and then later you can see all the recent posts that they've posted to make it a lot easier for you to stay top of mind with specific people. You can create a persona so this way you can customize your posts, your comments, your direct messages. You can literally train the AI to be much smarter if you learn how to use these tools and you use them correctly on a regular basis, you're much more likely to be successful with LinkedIn. So what do you think about this? Do you think this is a powerful tool? Do you think this is something that you would give a shot and try it out and use it and potentially upgrade to the higher version to allow you to be able to get the max benefit from it? I'm curious to know. I'm gonna share my screen real quick and just go down to see who's been leaving comments here. Let me know if you think this is a useful tool or if you think this is not a useful tool. Just write useful, not useful. Let me know what, what you, which one of those things you would use it for. I'm going to click on comments. I'm actually going to scroll back. I'm going to go back to my recent activity here. I'm going to click on show all posts. Then I'm going to click on comments. Then I'm going to click on most recent just to kind of see what you guys are talking about. Okay, Manisha said— Manisha Morris said, any recommendations for how to clean up my contacts if I've historically accepted more connections that reached out to me? I have hundreds of contacts trying to sell me something I would love to disconnect. So what I would do is I would sort it by country first, Manisha. So this is what I would do, okay? So this is what I would do. Thank you, by the way, Gunner. I really appreciate you saying that. Um, so if I wanted to clean up my contacts, I'm going to show you 2 more tricks to do with Evie AI. By the way, if you, if you want to see more, say, I want to see more, Joe. I'm curious to know if there's a couple people that want to see more. Say, Joe, I want to see more in the chat, and I'll show you a few more things. I want to answer Manisha's question, but I'm curious to know if you guys want to see more. If 3 people say they want to see more, I will show you guys a couple more tricks on how to use Evie AI. I just need your engagement to make sure that I'm not just talking to the wall and there's somebody actually watching here. Okay, so just say I want to see more. Also give this little a heart, give it a heart if you haven't given it a heart yet, give it a heart. I'm going to click on most recent comments. I want to see more. I really like the tool. Oh, Gunner, you're so sweet. Thank you so much for saying that. That means the world to me. I mean, this tool is really a game-changing tool and I keep making it better. I've invested so much time, thousands of hours of my time and my team's time Hundreds of thousands of dollars to be able to build a technology that helps millions of people. I really wanna be able to impact a million people and make a difference because I've trained over 1,000 people on how to use LinkedIn. And you've, Gunnar, you've been part of those training sessions. And let me tell you something, it's not easy to post. It's not easy to comment. It's not easy to customize connection notes. Those things are not easy, but with AI, it definitely makes it easier. So if you wanted me to show you a couple more tricks, write more in the chat. This way I know that you guys are watching and that you actually want to see a few more things. I'll be happy to share a few more things with you. Um, let me just go to comp recents just to see if anybody's doing that. I would love to see more. Manisha said, I would love to see more. Okay, cool. Uh, we just need one more person to say more, and this way we'll go into more. But let me answer Manisha's question in the meantime. Let me go into, um, Let me go into the search. Okay. So if I want to search my own connections, the best place to find your own connections is to click on my network. And then you click on connections. You see that? If I wanted to clean out my connections, I would pick, start with picking some countries that might have people that are not relevant to me. Okay. So what countries do you think are not relevant to you? So if you click on search with filters, you click on my network, you click on search with filters, it'll automatically segment out your first connections. And now pick a country that might not be relevant. So what is a country that might not be relevant to you? So let me do, um, for some people it might be India, for some people might be China. So let me click on China and you can see I have 27 connections in China. Now if you've accepted a lot of connections from China and you don't know who those people are, like for example Consumer Insight Manager, just random people that you're connected to in China, Then you can easily just click on their profile. You see that? Click on their profile. If you have no idea who this person is, check to see if you've messaged this person. Hello, Mr. Applebaum. Thanks for getting back to me. Most of my experiences regarding organic search. Okay, so this person accepted my invitation. Marketing graduate from. She wants to work for me. Do you have any experience? She has no experience with that. Okay, cool. She has a hundred people. That, um, and she has no recommendations. I don't really know this person, so I don't need this person to kind of take up a connection here. So I'm going to click on the more button, and then I'm going to click on remove connection. You see that? So I just removed this connection. It's not a bad thing, not a bad thing that they remove connection, but I don't need to have this connection taking up space. You see that? So you could pick particular countries, segment people by countries. The other thing that you can do is besides country, I'm going to remove country as an option, is that you have many other filters here where you can filter your connections. So for example, you can filter your connection by the school they went to, by the industry that they're in. So if there's a particular industry that, you know, you know, like let's say market research or marketing services or whatever it is, you might see that there's a lot of people that are first-degree connections that are offering marketing services. And a lot of the times those are the people that are hitting you up. So maybe you want to go in there and remove some of those people, especially if you have no idea who they are. So for example, Shannon Rhodey. Who's Shannon Rhodey? I don't know. I'm going to click on his profile. I'm going to click on contact info. I'm going to see I contacted— I connected on 2018. You see that? I'm going to click on message. Let's see if I've messaged. I've never messaged Shannon Rhodey. You see that? I've never messaged this person. So I can hit this person up, try to build a relationship, or I could just literally just disconnect from them. Why would I want to be connected to somebody that I don't even know? Okay. Did you see my most recent LinkedIn Live? Let me know. Okay. And I'm going to press send. I just sent this person a message. I'm going to try to build a relationship and have a conversation with them. But do you get the point? My point is, if you have no idea who the person is, then you either try to build a relationship or disconnect from them. If that person doesn't reply to my message, maybe in a few days, I'll probably end up just disconnecting from them because I don't need to be connected to people that don't respond to my messages. I could always save them somewhere else. Posting is one of the biggest hangups for everyone, including me. Oh, thank you for saying that. Yeah, so Gunner, posting is something that I'm very passionate about. If you go to my profile and you take a look at some of my recent posts, you'll notice that I've been posting a lot on LinkedIn. You see, I post over here, I post all the time. And what a lot of people don't know is that many of my posts are actually not written by me. They're written by AI. They're edited by me, but they're written by AI. Like for example, this post over here, I didn't write this post, but as you can see, I, 1,000 people saw it. I didn't even create these images. These images are created by artificial intelligence. We actually have a mastermind. And if you guys wanna learn more about our mastermind, just comment mastermind and I'll send you some information about it. We actually have a mastermind, evergreen.com/aicircle. It's starting on Monday. Whoop. e-v-y-r.com/aicircle. This is the Evergreen AI Business Development Circle. Welcome to the Evergreen AI's transformative monthly mastermind focused on leveraging artificial intelligence. The Evergreen AI Business Development Circle is your gateway to mastering AI strategies. So we meet for 3 hours once a month. You see 3 hours once a month, and I teach you how to use AI to do all types of business development, every type of business development, anything that you need. We give you lots of different ways to create content, images, videos, transcriptions, And it's a year-long program. We meet once a month for 3 hours and you basically be part of a community. There's only gonna be a couple of people there. You're gonna have a tool vault with all the different tools. You're gonna have access to trainings on those tools. You're gonna get a course, you're gonna get 1,000 ChatGPT prompts, and you're gonna learn from me directly, one-on-one in a group, you know, like this, just on Zoom instead of LinkedIn Live or Facebook or YouTube or wherever you're learning. So if you want to join this, I do have a special deal for the first couple people that join, and we still have room in that deal. So just send me a DM on LinkedIn, say send me the mastermind deal, and I will send you the mastermind deal. Just send me a direct message right on LinkedIn. Okay, my— you can find me on LinkedIn if you're watching this on YouTube. You can find me on joelinkedin.com, J-O-E LinkedIn dot com, and it takes you right to my LinkedIn profile. joelinkedin.com, send me a direct message. Or send me an email and you'll be able to quickly be able to find me and connect with me. Okay, so now a couple of you said you wanted to learn more. Let me show you another strategy to leave comments strategically. So let's say for example you are in the ChatGPT industry. Let's say you built a tool for ChatGPT. You can click on search ChatGPT and you can find people like Reid Hoffman and leave comments on their stuff just like that. You see that? I'm going to drop a comment on Reid Hoffman's profile. Great post read. I completely agree that while ChatGPT and similar technologies have a lot of attention, we shouldn't overlook the advancements of LLMs. You see that? Okay, so I just left a comment on the founder of LinkedIn and he started another tool called Pi.ai, P-I dot AI. So I want to stay top of mind with him. So I'm going to save him into Evvy AI and I'm going to put him as an influencer. and now I'm always going to be able to see his recent posts and then leave comments using artificial intelligence on his recent posts. Now I'm going to make sure to leave comments that are conversational, that are deep, that are meaningful, and I'm going to go through and just kind of keep doing what I'm doing. Here's another thing. Let's say for example, there's a particular industry like real estate, okay? And let's say you're in the real estate industry and you're trying to grow your business. You just search the word real estate, you click on posts, and then you can say, I want to see people that wrote about real estate and leave comments on those posts. So for example, Ira wrote about real estate over here. When do you think is the best time? When will it crash? I'm going to write now. I'm going to leave a comment over here. And as you can see, um, it thinks that I'm Joe. You see that? Great insights, Joe. So instead of Joe, I'm going to change this to Ira. I'm going to because I didn't use the persona there, so it didn't know who I was. Great insights, Ira. I completely agree that da da da da da da da. Thanks for sharing. Okay, that's good. As you can see, there's a lot of people commenting over here, writing posts, and I can stay top of mind with all those people. You see a lot of them, but not all of them are my first-degree connections. So you can actually sort it. If you click on from member, you can do it from a person, or if you click on all filters, you can do it from your first-degree connections only and only in the past 24 hours. So they're fresh posts and you can do by latest. You see latest, past 24-hour, first-degree connections, and now they added content type. So let's say for example, I only wanted to leave comments on videos or live videos or job posts or newsletters. You can do that as well. I'm going to click on images just to kind of see what that looks like because I haven't done that yet. And I can see all the people that have the word real estate. Oh my God, amazing. So I'm going to start commenting on all these people. I'm actually going to use my persona so it actually sounds like me and it has my little thing over there. Great post. As the CEO of digital marketing in the AS, I understand the importance of time. I'm going to press boom and now I left a comment on Paris. I'm the only one that left a comment. This was an hour ago where he posted this. And I'm already top of mind with him. You see that? I can see all the people that are posting in that industry. I'm going to take out the word real estate from the top. Now, if I take out the word real estate, it's not going to work here. So the hack— you guys want more hacks? Just write hacks in the chat and I'll give you more hacks. You go to the URL where it says keywords and you just remove the word real, and then %20 is a space in HTML, and then you do estate. You see on top, I just highlighted it. I'm going to delete it and press enter. And now it's going to show me all the first-degree connections that have images in the past 24 hours and show me the latest ones. You see that? The latest ones. And you can actually bookmark this right over here. I'm going to do— I'm going to write first degree, first degree. I'm going to say images. I'm going to say 24 HR. Um, and I'm gonna say latest. Okay, I'm gonna press— I'm gonna put it in my LinkedIn folder and press done. Now I have this as a saved search in my LinkedIn folder, and I can always come back to this every day. So you want to go once a day. Once a day you can load this and see all the images in the past 24 hours on your first-degree connections. Now if you don't want images, you want to see all posts, you can change it. You can— or you can just click reset, it'll remove that from the filters. And now you can see every post that everybody ever left. First-degree connections, they don't 100% always load, but if you check it out often, you'll see posts that you don't see on the feed and you'll discover new connections that are really powerful. Again, you gotta make sure that you see, that you train it and let it know who you are. It's not always gonna be perfect. I'm gonna remove this. I'm gonna say Tony. I'm gonna say appreciate you. Okay, I misspelled the word appreciate. I'm gonna write boom post. And this is great. This is a great way for you to kind of stay top of mind and build relationships with people. Okay, so if you like these tips, say I like the tips, Joe. I'd love to see more tips. I'm gonna press stop sharing my screen just to kind of share with you guys something really important. The amount of exposure that you get on LinkedIn will be determined by the amount of activity that you do, and specifically strategic activity. Most people are not doing strategic activity on LinkedIn. For example, most people are not going on LinkedIn Live. Most people are not posting. Most people are not leaving comments. Most people are not sending connection notes. Most people are not taking the time to optimize their profile. Most people are not leaving recommendations or even getting any recommendations on LinkedIn. Most people are not taking the right actions. Most people are not replying to direct messages when they get them from other people. If you want to build relationships, if you want to build connections, if you want more exposure, more credibility, you want to book more meetings, you want more clients, you want more referrals, you need to take the right actions on LinkedIn. There's almost a billion people on LinkedIn, and if you take the right actions, you're much more likely to be successful. With evyai.com, that's evyai.com, you can use AI to help you with LinkedIn. It'll make things faster, it'll make things smoother, and it'll help you be able to take your life and your business to the next level. So I highly recommend testing it out, trying it out. I am biased because it is a tool that I built, but I've trained over 1,000 people on how to use LinkedIn, and now this tool is changing We have over 1,000 people using Evvy AI, so test it out, try it out, give me your feedback, let me know what you think about it, and I'd love to hear from you. I'm gonna check to see if we have any more comments here. By the way, a quick tip, if you are on LinkedIn Live and you wanna see everybody's comments, just go to the person's profile, click on view all posts, and then click on the comments button here, and then you click on most recent. Okay. And you'd be able to see exactly what people are saying. Rick said, love this. Rick said, I heard only 1% of LinkedIn users post regularly and are engaged. Less than 1%, less than 1% are contributing daily. Okay. Tag him, Rick CL. O E K L K L. Hey sweetie. Okay, I press that. You see that less than one percent are contributing daily, and you can be one of them. Okay, that's awesome. So just as a quick recap for those of you that are joining now, we've been talking about this tool called evyai.com. It's a tool to help you improve your credibility and engagement on LinkedIn. It's a LinkedIn AI assistant. It can do 6 things, comments, posts, recommendations, direct messages. It'll optimize your profile and help you with connection notes. You can also create personas. I showed you guys how to create those personas right over here in app.evyai.com. You can also write posts. You can also save particular people's profiles. Like I saved Reeve Hoffman. If I want to see his posts now, I click on see recent activity. It'll load all his recent activity just like that. You guys see the way it loaded his recent activity, and then I can drop comments on his recent posts. So I'm going to click in here, select my persona, do GPT four because it's a lot smarter. And as you can see, within just literally five seconds, it reads the entire post and provides a detailed customized comment specifically for this person, Reed Hoffman. The comprehensive AI tools has allowed the lower barrier of entry. Say na na na. And I'm going to say thanks for creating. Thanks for creating AI. I love it, by the way. Okay, now I press— now he has no idea that I use AI to write this. Zero idea. Zero idea. But I know, and you know, and if he watches this video, which I doubt he'll get to the end of this video because this is a pretty long video, um, I doubt he'll get to the longest video, you'll know how I did this. You don't have to stay top of mind with 1,000 people. If you literally stay top of mind with 30, 40, 50 people on a regular basis, even on a weekly basis, by putting them into Evvy AI, saving them, putting them into a particular list, you can have clients, prospects, referral partners, networking buddies, people that typically engage on your posts to reward them. And you just click on their stuff and you see their post, you drop a comment, see their post, drop a comment. It's going to take you 5 minutes. You go through it 5 minutes a day, leave some comments, spend 5 minutes a day posting something useful, spend 5 minutes a day sending some messages, connecting with people. In 15 minutes, you're going to be a total rock star on LinkedIn and you're going to start getting more clients. I always tell people, if you have 15 minutes a day, you want to get exposure, you want to build credibility, and you want to book meetings. You want to post, engage, and message. You do those 3 things, You're much more likely to be successful. Now, if you want to join me to do a posting party, let me know in the comments, right? Posting party. And I'll include you in a posting party that I'm going to be doing. I came up with this idea this weekend while I was in New Jersey with the kids that we should get together and have a party where we post together. So if you want to join my posting party, I think it would be fun for us to come up with a post, talk about what post we're going to be writing, write it with AI on the spot, Post it, and then everyone in the group can comment on it as well if they're interested in doing that. So if you want to join a posting party, let me know that you want to join a posting party. We could also brainstorm with AI together. With AI, we're adding brainstorm functionality to Evie AI, and as we add more functionality, we are going to be raising the price. So I would suggest if you plan on upgrading to Evie AI, do it now. Get the annual version. It's the cheapest price. Around, um, and you get unlimited comments, unlimited posts. To upgrade, you can go to app.eviai.com/upgrade. Okay, app.eviai.com/upgrade, and you can see the pricing there. Highly recommend you check it out. And, uh, yeah, I, I literally just sat here for almost an hour on LinkedIn doing a LinkedIn Live, a LinkedIn video talking about how to use AI to succeed on LinkedIn. This is powerful. The fact that I'm able to put a live video on LinkedIn and then people can watch the replay for an hour. LinkedIn has a video limit if you're uploading from your mobile phone of 10 minutes. If you're uploading from your desktop, it's 15 minutes. But with LinkedIn Live using a tool like Restream.io, you can just keep going. You can keep going. There is a limit. There's a, I think back in the day there was a 5-hour or 4-hour limit for lives. I don't know if the limit is still there. I'm not going to go for the next 4 hours. I got to take my daughter to school now, but I just want to say thank you for being here with me. I really appreciate you. Thank you for spending— if you were here for the full hour, just write full hour. Um, curious to know who is here for the full hour. I will be going back and looking at the comments. So if you're watching the replay, just write replay. Let me know what industry you're in. Let me know that you saw this. Give this a like, put a little heart there. Let me know that you saw this. And yeah, thank you for being in my life. My name is Joe Applebaum. I'm the CEO of Ajax Union. I built a tool called Evy AI, evyai.com. The reason why I built it is because I've trained over 1,000 people on how to use LinkedIn, and I saw that they have a real big problem with posting, engaging, and messaging. They don't have the time to do it. And so the second I learned how to do it with artificial intelligence, I wrote some amazing prompts. I put it into a tool, I embedded it into LinkedIn, and then I gave it access to my 1,000 clients to use. And we have over 1,000 people using it right now. And I'd love for you to test it out and see what it's like to be able to leverage LinkedIn using artificial intelligence. Now remember, AI is not going to do it for you. It's not automatic. It'll draft things for you and then you go edit it and put it online if it makes sense. It's just going to save you a ton of time. And if you're using it, say I'm using it, I'm loving it. Let me know. I'm looking for my fans. I want to know where my fans are. So thank you very much for being in my life. I appreciate you, and I'll see you on the next live. I'm doing more of these lives on a regular basis, so go back and watch some of the previous lives. The reason I'm doing them is because of the impact I'm making on people. People are— even if I'm just talking to 3, 4, or 5 people when I go live, um, the impact that I'm making is significant. And then after, about 1,000 people see the replay. So yeah, if you were live with me or you watch a replay, let me know in the chat. Thank you so much for being here. Appreciate
More from Joe

How to Beat the Algorithm: Remove Hidden Watermarks & Scale Content with evyAI
