LinkedIn Influencer Recap 006 - Joe Apfelbaum

In this LinkedIn Live session, host Joe Apfelbaum walks viewers through a comprehensive recap of the recent LinkedIn Influencer Summit while simultaneously demonstrating real‑time outreach tactics. He shows how to locate a connection’s contact info, place a phone call directly from LinkedIn, and use that call as a relationship‑building exercise. Throughout the broadcast he references summit insights—Richard Vanderblum’s 5‑step social‑selling process, content‑pillar frameworks, and best‑practice hooks—while critiquing common LinkedIn mistakes such as adding keyword strings to a name field and embedding links in posts. Joe repeatedly showcases his tech stack (Evy AI, CRM integration, Loom video templates, Mention Saver, AI‑generated comment tools) to automate commenting, content creation, and follow‑up messaging. He engages participants (Sandra, Jasmine, Esther, etc.) in live Q&A about ideal clients, platform usage, and phone‑calling habits, and uses those interactions to illustrate value‑based engagement versus hard‑selling. The session also promotes his paid “Engaged Thought Leaders” community and a $1,000/month bundle that includes access to summit replays, templates, and AI tools. The overall narrative emphasizes that genuine, phone‑based outreach combined with strategic commenting and AI‑assisted content creation drives deeper relationships and higher conversion on LinkedIn.
Chapters
Welcome to the LinkedIn Live. My name is Joe Apfelbaum and I will be your host today. I'm really excited about today's topic. It's the LinkedIn Influencer Summit recap. So for those of you that don't know, we actually had an Influencer Summit recently that allowed us to be able to understand who the top LinkedIn influencers are right now and what are their best tips. So if you're watching this live right now, let me know that you're live. We're going to wait till a couple more people come through. And in the meantime, I'm going to engage with some of the content that's on LinkedIn over here. So as you can see, I just left a comment on Sarah Thompson's profile. I'm going to go ahead and click on her profile. Sarah Thompson is a client of mine, and I love getting to know my clients, building relationships with them, getting to know them. And I do see she has a lot of stuff going on over here. And you can see her cell phone number is right here. So if I wanted to call Sarah Thompson, I just had to click on this little button over here. And then I can easily just click on my CRM and just call Sarah just like that. You see that? And it just starts ringing. You might not be able to hear it, but I think you could hear it. I'm not sure if you could or you can't. But let me know if you can hear it. Um, and it's really easy to find people on LinkedIn and start building real relationships. One of the tips that they gave is on the LinkedIn Influencer Summit is just pick up the phone and just call people, build that relationship with them, get to know them. So I'm curious to know, do you pick up the phone and do you actually call people on LinkedIn, or are you the type of person that is afraid of bothering other people? And maybe you don't want to—
Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system.
Okay, so I just hung up. She did not pick up the phone. Totally fine. I don't expect people to pick up the phone right away. But do you have the ability to call people in real time? Say yes, I call people in real time, or say no, I don't call people in real time. I'm just curious to know what your attitude is in general in terms of like calling. Is that something that you do, or is that something that you absolutely don't do? Now, if you want to share a link to something, you click on the 3 dots on the corner of the post and you hit copy link to post. You see that? And then what I can do is I could easily find, let's say, a WhatsApp group. And, um, and I can share this post inside the WhatsApp group right now. And I can say, I am live right now. I can say, I am live right now. Now talking about the LinkedIn Influencer Summit recap. Okay, I'm going to press Ctrl+C, I'm going to hit send, and now I'm going to send it to a few WhatsApp groups to let people know that, um, summit, and then to let people know that, hey, I'm live right now, um, and you guys can join. If they want to join, they can actually join this group. And this way people can kind of get the tips that they need to get in order to be more successful. Um, you know, that, that's, you know, my, my goal here is to just literally give you guys tips and teach you exactly what you need to do in order to be successful on LinkedIn. So I actually have a newsletter article. So if you click on newsletter here, you can actually sort it by the newsletter article over here. And you can see all the notes from all the influencers here. Do you see the way I'm loading up all the notes from all the influencers? And so if you log in, you'll be able to see all these notes and anyone can read these notes, but it's one thing to read the notes. It's another thing to like go through it and build those relationships and really understand what each influencer said. So Richard Vanderblum, he's Mr. Algorithm. He shared his expertise on how to master, not merely hack, but master the LinkedIn algorithm. To drive lead generation. He said there's a 5-step social selling process, which is identify your ideal clients, engage before outreach, trust and build credibility, and convert to business meetings. And I recently created a Loom video that teaches people how to not prop— not like, not harass people, but, you know, take a moment to really identify who your ideal clients are and then reach out to them. Say in the comments. You know, so I'm constantly commenting on people's posts. That's really important for me to comment on people's posts and, and really get to know them. And when you do comment on people's posts properly, they take notice. They actually notice. Do you see the way that Esther just liked this post over here and Sandra commented on my post with 15 other people? So Sandra commented on my post I can easily go to her profile. You see that I can go to her profile, and now I have a reason to call all these people. I can call Dr. Amin, I can call Jane, I can call Todd, I can call Scott, I can call Latha, I can call Dr. Deborah. And this happened in the past 3 minutes. I can call Christy. Do you see that? So these are people that are commenting on my posts, and if I wanted to call Sandra, I just click on her profile because she likes to sing.
Oh, I see.
So I'm going to click on contact info right over here. And then inside her contact info, her phone is right here. And you could see her birthday's coming up on March 26th. So I have a reason to pick up the phone and call Sandra. Now it's important for you to notice that you don't want to spam people. You don't want to randomly call them, but me calling Sandra right now, this is not a random call. This is actually a very strategic call. This call will be recorded for quality control.
Hi Sandra. Please state your name after the tone and Google Voice will try to connect you.
And it's a Google Voice number. Hey Sandra, it's Joe Apfelbaum. Hey, Joe Apfelbaum, let me know if you can pick up. And let's see if it actually, if she actually picks up the phone. She's going to get a phone, a phone call and it's going to say, hey, um, Joe Apfelbaum, you know, it'll just say this person's calling and then she can decide if she wants to pick up or not. Now what I'm going to do is I'm actually going to leave a comment on her post because Richard Vanderblum says it's important to leave a comment on the posts. And over here, Esther said thank you. Thank you, Esther. Appreciate you. Hey, Sandra. Can you hear me?
Hi, Joe. How you doing?
Yeah, I'm good. I love that you sing.
Thank you.
I love that you're a singer. I'm on LinkedIn Live right now, and I wanted to show people how easy it is to pick up the phone and call people. But I did notice that you're making two mistakes on your LinkedIn, and I wanted to just tell you what they are so that you know.
Oh, sure. Let's hear it.
Okay, mistake number 1 is that after your name, you put your first name, your middle initial, and your last name, you write a bunch of words that are not related to like your title or anything. Those are keywords that you put in there which don't comply with LinkedIn's terms and conditions. So they write, if you add any other words to your name, they can restrict your account. So your account is at risk by doing that. I'm not saying it's illegal or anything. I'm just saying I've seen people's accounts get restricted and then they couldn't verify their account to get the account back because when they tried to verify, their name wasn't Marketing Strategies. You get it? So they sent their ID to LinkedIn and LinkedIn was not able to verify that it's them. So they never got access back to their account. So your account is literally at risk of being restricted and then you might not be able to get it back.
Yeah, that's good to know.
Yes, I would edit my name. I would edit your name and just remove any words that are not your name. People can put PhD, they could put doctor, whatever, but they can't put words that are marketing-related words or just like random words. That would be mistake number 1. Mistake number 2 that you made is that on your most recent post, you included a link to, to whatever you're linking there in the post. And according to the influencers in the summit, they all said do not include a link in the post because LinkedIn's not gonna show that post on the feed. So as you can see, you had very little action on the, on the post. Um, and chances are it wasn't because the post wasn't good. Chances are it was because, um, you simply, um, whatchamacallit, you simply included a link inside the post.
Mm-hmm.
So my recommendation is to not include a link inside the post. Which will help the post get out there more. Instead, take the link and put the link inside the comments.
In the comments. Yeah. Yeah.
All right.
Well, thank you for that reminder.
That's that's my that's my little tip of the day, and I just wanted to honor you with a phone call and show people how easy it is to pick up the phone and call people.
Yes, pick up the phone. Pick up that phone.
Pick up that phone. And if anyone's watching this live. Um, what do you want to say to people watching this live? What would you say to them?
That marketing and sales are fraternal twins that should never be separated.
Love that. Marketing and sales are fraternal twins. Never separate them. And if you guys want to check out Sandra, check out her profile. She has 2,600 followers on her profile. She's totally rocking out. Check her out, see what she's doing, and talk to her about your business. She has a company called DMMI Associates for 23 years and 10 months. And she's doing some great stuff. She's also a program mentor for a college. Go check out what she's doing. And, um, thank you very much, Sandra. And we'll talk again soon.
Thanks, Joe. See ya. Bye-bye.
So do you see how easy it was for me to pick up the phone, call her, and build that relationship? Now Sandra's already a client of mine. She's also a connection of mine. But my recommendation to you is actually build those relationships, get to know those people. These are real human beings with real phone numbers and real first names and last names. And so even if you don't know the person at all, picking up the phone and calling them is a competitive advantage. And most people are really scared of doing that, of picking up the phone and calling them. And the reason people are afraid to do it is because they don't understand the value of actually having a relationship. They think that they're interrupting somebody when in reality is if they actually picked up, you're not interrupting them. They picked up because they're available to speak to you. And if you're straight to the point and they know who you are and you're not BSing them, then the chances of you being successful are much higher. So what I recommend that you guys do is take a moment and hit that repost button. Go to my recent activity, hit that repost button. and repost this post so more people can see it, repost this video. I'm going to show you how it's done from, for example, from Tammy's profile. I'm going to go to Tammy's profile and this is what it looks like from Tammy's profile. So I'm going to give it a heart and then I'm going to click on the repost. And when I repost, I don't want to repost with thoughts. Instead, I want to repost just without thoughts, just like this. You see that? I'm going to click on repost just like this. And I just reposted. So Jack says, so how do you transition from that to an offer? The way that you transition from that to an offer is to simply ask them questions related to their pain. People love to talk about their pain. So if you're watching this live right now, tell me, who is your ideal client? Who is your ideal client?
Okay.
Okay, so Tammy went ahead and posted that comment here. Let me know in the chat who your ideal client is. And I'm going to show you a piece of technology called the Mention Saver technology. So this Mention Saver saves all the mentions so that if you want to mention all these people inside the comments, you just press copy. And then you go to the comment where you want to mention. I'm going to say, we are live, join us. And then I'm going to press paste. And now it's going to tag all these people. And then I'm going to press comment. And now all these people were mentioned. Do you see that? Everybody was mentioned here. And so they all got an alert telling them to join this live right now, which is really powerful. Now, if you're watching this live now, tell me, how did you find this live and where are you watching this live? Are you watching this live on LinkedIn? Are you watching this live on Facebook? Are you watching this live on YouTube? Because we are live in all the different places. And we're not going to be live forever because nobody's alive forever. But instead we are building those relationships with people one at a time, getting to know them. And while we're in this world together, we may as well cross-pollinate and get to know each other. So who is your ideal client? Let me know in the chat. That's number one. Number 2 is let me know where you're watching this live. Are you watching on LinkedIn or somewhere else? Or if you're not sure, say, I'm not sure where I am. That's totally fine. And also tell me, do you call people or do you avoid calling people? So Esther said, I don't call people in real life. Do you call people in fake life? Do you call? Why don't you call people in real life? I'm curious to know if you don't make phone calls. Tell me why you don't make phone calls. Now she said she's from Nigeria over here on her profile. So maybe it's something related to long distance. Maybe that's the problem. But if it's long distance, then you want to get people's WhatsApps and connect with them via WhatsApp. Now, if you're not using a technology like Evy AI, I highly recommend you use Evy AI because with Evy AI, you can easily save people's profiles. Like I could save your profile. I'm not going to save your profile here, but I can. And then you can put them into particular lists. So for example, I want my EANYC list, my active list of EANYC members. And then I can see all the members that are active in EANYC. So if I want to pull up, for example, Derek's profile, I could hit see recent activities and I can see all of his recent activities just with a click of a button. So I see he posted 22 hours ago. And now what I can do is I can open up the generator tool here. And I can easily leave him a comment. So you see, I hit generate on the bottom right corner. Then I press insert if I like the comment, and if I like it, I just press comment and then boom, the comment gets inserted. Do you see how quickly I was able to insert a comment just like that? And if I missed any other posts in the past, I can, but I love commenting on people's posts. Let me ask you a question. How many comments do you leave each day? Let me know in the chat. I'll show you my profile and my dashboard. So if you go into evviai.com and then you click on log in, you'll see we have the ability to log in. You click on go to web app, and on the left side, you're gonna see something called the Learning Hub. Inside the Learning Hub, we have something called Quick Links, and if you scroll down, you're gonna see something called the LinkedIn Dashboard. The LinkedIn Dashboard gives you access to see how many posts and how many comments you left that week. So you can see in the past 2 days, I left 101 comments. My goal is to leave 50 comments every single day. Now you can leave 5 comments every day, which is what I recommend people do, but I'm curious to know how many comments do you leave every day? Let me know in the comments below how many comments you leave per day. Now let's keep going through the notes of the Influencer Summit because that's why we're here. Richard says create content pillars for LinkedIn posts, storytime, Thought leadership, event content, unique selling proposition, industry-related content. He says every high-performing post should have a hook, main points, call to action, and it should be formatted with using white space, really powerful. And then he says additional tips is video content update, networking through engagement. And then we had the wonderful Luis. Luis says that there are 3 benefits to social media marketing, personal branding, Direct sales, indirect sales, and future sales leads. And she went through the 5 C's framework: connect, contribute, create, convert. And if you want to watch the replay, also let me know. Do you also reply to every message? I do reply to every message. Where are the notes from the summit? Dr. Davora said, where are the notes from the summit? So check this out. I'm going to click on my templates and all the questions that people ask, I have it right over here. So I'm gonna press this little copy here, and then I'm gonna go into Evvy AI and I'm gonna click on community, and then I'm gonna click on discover our community. And in the community, I'm gonna call, I'm gonna say notes of Influencer Summit. I'm gonna press enter, or I'm just gonna write notes. I'm gonna say notes. And then you're gonna see it says, put your notes for your Influencer Summit here. So if you wanna see it, I'm gonna scroll down to the bottom of the Influencer Summit notes. And I'm gonna paste it right here. And then I'm gonna tag Dr. Devorah Bird right over here. You see that? Dr. Devorah Bird. And I'm gonna press comment. And I just commented via a template from Evie AI in the community that has not just my notes, but everybody's notes as well. You see everyone took notes here and took screenshots and so on. And so I just shared my notes inside the community. If you just search the word notes, You'll easily find the notes, and we have a community with 841 members. There's 61 people waiting to join the community right now. We definitely don't let everybody into the community, and the reason we don't let everybody in is because many people are not real. Like, for example, this person said over here LinkedIn is rap or something like that. So maybe she said crap. I'm going to go to this website here just to see. Yeah, obviously this is a spammer. So I'm going to hit decline. But before I hit decline, I'm going to go to their profile just to kind of see where this person is spamming. And you can see they're in a bunch of free accounts. So obviously they're not a real person. And so I'm going to go back here and I'm going to hit decline. And this person has just been declined. And so I want to make sure that you're a real person before I let you in the door. And so I look through people and for example, Michael, Michael, I know is a real person. So I'm going to go ahead and copy his LinkedIn URL. I'm going to approve him, but you'll be able to see that Michael is a real person. You see Michael Kalihinki. I'm going to press contact info here, and as you can see, his cell phone is right over here. I'm going to copy his cell phone number. I'm going to go into my CRM, and you can get access to the CRM through unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com. So check this out. I'm gonna call him right now. Dr. Dvorak says, you're the best, Joe. Thank you. Um, Rick says, I post every day and comment on people's posts.
Please state your name after the tone and Google Voice will try to connect you.
Hi, this is Joe Apfelbaum. Hope you can take my call now. So as you can see, he put his Google Voice over there, and, uh, he was born on October 29th, so he's a Scorpio like me. By the way, what is your astrology sign? Let me know in the chat. I'd love to know what your astrology sign is. And then I'm going to click here and I'm going to see if he picks up. So I see he posted 18 hours ago. I'm going to click on it just to kind of see what he posted. Hello?
Hello? Hey, buddy.
Hey, what's going on? I'm on LinkedIn Live. I'm looking at your profile on LinkedIn Live and I figured I'd give you a call.
You caught me as I was just about to jump on another call.
I know, I know. So you can jump on another call, but I just wanted to say, I looked at your post. I love what you're doing with your post, except you are making one little mistake that I would tell you to kind of be careful about. But if you want to hear about it later, I can call you. But the main thing is like, do you know when you put 2 emojis on your hook?
Yeah.
That shows that it's AI. For most people, they're like, oh my God, that's AI. So I would, I would refrain from Quoting your hook and putting emojis on it.
Are we talking in the about section?
No, no, no. Just like your last post from 18 hours ago where you said why most marketers failed before it starts. Gotcha.
I got it, got it, got it.
That's number one. So that just very AI is doing that like crazy, just adding tons of emojis and just quoting things. So I would remove that 'cause it doesn't sound natural.
Yeah.
So that would be the, the first thing that I would say. And also using AI-generated images. as your main thing is not going to work either. People are just kind of sick of it. They look at it and they're like, oh my God, I'm not even going to engage with it. So I would say definitely those are 2 big mistakes that people make. And those are the things that we kind of teach in the Evergreen Networking System. So when you're ready for the bundle, I'm ready for you. But I just wanted to add a little bit of value today.
I appreciate it, Joe. That's killer stuff. Thank you.
Yeah, it's my pleasure. The other thing I would tell you to do is your middle name is Carl. Coffee with Mike, I would put that as your pronoun instead of your middle name. So you can change your pronoun from he/him, she/her into a custom pronoun. And you could put the word Coffee with Mike over there because, um, if you put some random things as your name, that is against LinkedIn's terms and conditions and they can ban you for that. So just be careful.
Oh, shoot.
Just be careful with that. You can use the pronoun as that. So if you want it there, definitely put the pronoun as that. Does that make sense? You know, you got a custom pronoun.
Yep. Absolutely. Thank you, brother.
Yeah, it's my pleasure. Enjoy your meeting and, uh, we'll talk again soon. Looking forward to connecting with you.
Absolutely.
Thanks for taking my call.
Always. Thank you.
All right.
Bye.
Bye-bye. Now, do you guys see how this works? Just write in the chat, this works, if you know what I'm talking about. And this is a prospect of mine and also a connection. He has 10,000 Followers on LinkedIn, and I want to go deeper with him. So I'm, I'm literally adding value. Now, there was no way for me to know that I was going to call him off the bat, but I saw an opportunity because I found a way to add value. In the chat, write, I need to add more value. Write that in the chat. I want to see who here is into adding value and who here is just into selling because selling sucks. But adding value is like, oh shucks, that's amazing. So who here is a value-based person? I'm going to go here and look through the comments here because I haven't been really sneaking up on the comments. I'm just curious to know if you guys are a value-based person or if you're a seller that's super annoying. I see that Dr. Devora is a Capricorn. I just learned something new. Rick says, I post every day and comment on influencer posts. You're the best, Joe. Where are the notes from the summit? I told you. Do you reply to every message? I'm taking a look at what's going on over here. Esther, Dr. Jack on LinkedIn watching. Guys, let me know if you're watching on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube. Let me know where you're watching. You need to add massive value to people's lives. People want to do business with other people that they know, like, and trust. However, just knowing, liking, and trusting is not enough if you're not actually adding value in a meaningful way. So how do I add value? I simply add value by dropping comments. This is one of the most valuable things you can do on your prospects' posts is literally dropping comments. And I drop tons of comments on people's posts and I give valuable tips constantly. I go to their profiles, I check up what they're up to, I click on contact information, I get their cell phone number. As you can see, I'm 2 for 2 right now. Let's see if if this one will work because people say, "Oh, I call people and they don't pick up the phone." I took a random person from the feed. I don't think I've ever called this person in my life, but let's just see what happens. The birthday is May 28th, so we have a set. What is it? May 28th, guys. Tell me what May 28th is. Can anyone tell me? It's a My— it's, um, it's the same thing as June because after Taurus comes Gemini. That's what it is, Gemini. All right, so, so—
Your call has been forwarded to voicemail. The person you're trying to reach is not available. At the tone, please record your message. When you have finished recording, you may hang up.
Hey, this is Joe Apfelbaum, CEO of Evie AI. I just wanted to take a moment and say I noticed your posts, I commented on it, and that I appreciate you. Give me a call when you get a chance, 917-865-7631. I do have some tips if you'd like some tips. I always have tips. I'm always into it. I'm always into giving tips. So give me a call on my cell, 917-865-7631, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your posts. Thanks for inspiring the world with your wonderful content. Talk soon.
Boom.
So it only took me a minute and 11 seconds. By the way, in the chat, write angel numbers if you notice the angel numbers. So this is, this is powerful. I'm DMing people, building relationships with people, getting to know people. And these are people that sometimes I've never even called in my life, but their phone number is both in their about section and in so many different places. And so I just want you to take a moment and recognize the fact that If you're not actually building those relationships, then you're not moving forward. You're simply not moving forward. And if you want to move forward with me, just write forward because I would love to move forward with you as well. We do have a private community with 89 members called the Engaged Thought Leaders Community. So if you want to get in on this, it's usually $1,000 a month, but I'll give anyone that's part of our bundle access to this community right now. So write bundle in the chat if you want more information about our bundle, because we're bundling over $10,000 worth of value for anyone that wants the bundle and for anyone that really wants to be part of the movement that we're doing to build 1,000 engaged LinkedIn users. Now, do you see what's going on over here? This post mentioned me. You can actually see mentions on LinkedIn by clicking on the mentions thing, and you can see everything that has been mentioned with your name on it. Over here you can go to all and see all the notifications. So let me take a look at this post that has mentioned me and let's see what it's about. And obviously this guy spammed mentioned all these people just like that. And he wrote a bunch of BS over here. So, and he tagged a bunch of other random people here. So I'm actually not gonna interact with this post because this post is just spam in my eyes. Um, it's very salesy. I would never, ever, ever say like, blah, blah, blah. If your SEO is crappy, tell your people to contact me. And then no, no, thank you. I would not do that. That's not something that I would do. Um, but at the same time, you know, it's not worth just spamming people. It's worth connecting with people deeply. Now let's see what this person has to say. He wrote, there are better ways to capture more emails. Let me know if you need any help with that. Um, may I send you a 5-minute Loom video with my thoughts on your approach? And I'm going to edit this right over here. 3 dots. May I send you a 5-minute Loom video with my thoughts on this approach? Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to go into Evie AI. I'm going to click on templates and I'm going to click on new template. I'm going to make, put it on the word Loom. This is my Loom and I'm going to say spammer. Spammer response to DM. And then in the content, I'm going to write, just wanted to share my thoughts on when I get spam messages with people who are not really considering Who I am and what I am up to. Thought this might be helpful to you. Enjoy this Loom. Okay, now I'm going to go to my Loom videos. I'm going to grab the Loom video because I really— I want to avoid people from farting on LinkedIn. You know, like if you're farting on LinkedIn, it's smelly. And I don't want people to be smelling on LinkedIn. So I have this right over here. I'm gonna copy this. I asked him for permission. I asked him for permission. Let's see what he says. If he gives me permission, then I will send him this DM and I have it in my templates ready to go. So if I go into my templates and I click on select lists and I type in Loom, you'll be able to see that I have this Loom ready to go. You see that? I have so many Looms here. And that's the idea. Every time I make a Loom video, I can save it as a template. And then I can have an assortment of Loom videos that I can send to people. Now, I also have group messages that I'm part of. If you wanna join a group message, say, I wanna join a group message. And if we're connected on LinkedIn, I'd be more than happy to add you to a quick group message that I am part of that I can support you on. We're gonna be ending this stream right now, but I just wanna cover a few more tips from Esty. She says, social media is like a 24/7 party. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take this right over here, her key actions and takeaways, copy it like this, you see? I'm going to see if I can just copy all these things here. Then I'm going to right-click on this information and then I'm going to send it to the Evie AI sidebar. I'm going to click in here. I'm going to right-click in here. I'm going to hit send to sidebar. Then I'm going to change this to a posting template. I'm going to provide resources, do inspiration, hit generate. And this AI writer that we have here on the side, is going to write a pretty solid post on behalf of Esty. And then what we're going to do is you see this amazing post. It has Unicode built into it. I'm going to copy the information from this post. I'm going to log into Esty's account real quick, and I'm going to create a post on her behalf. So how am I going to create a post on her behalf? I'm just going to go into start a post. I'm going to paste this content. It has Unicode, which means it has bold content. You see that? And I'm going to delete this right here. What's your favorite platform for connections? I'm just going to read this. Here's why. Here's why. Here's why. Here's why. Here's why. Now I'm going to click on this right over here. I'm going to find Estes. Post here. Let's see, see if I could find her post. Esty's 5-minute video right over here. I'm going to press next, and I'm going to say P.S. DM me if you want access to the recordings of the. 4.5 hours. I have them available, or you can contact @JoeApfelbaum, my co-host. Okay, I'm going to press post, and now this 5-minute video is going to go live just like that. Pretty powerful, right? Now I'm going to click on notifications just to see all the different notifications that SD has going on. Let me go back over here. Upload complete. We'll notify you when it's ready. Perfect.
Okay.
What's going on here? What's going on? The ultimate LinkedIn engagement. Look at that. That's awesome. Let's see what's going on here with this post over here. Well-structured. Makes sense. You see that? I just commented on that. Now I'm going to go to Joe's profile. See what people have been commenting on Joe's profile right over here. I'm going to give it a like. You see that? And if I click on show all posts, it shows all his recent posts. And I'm going to go in here and I'm going to say, thank you for sharing, Joe Apfelbaum. I tagged Joe and now it went from 34 comments to 35 comments. And if I want to see the most recent ones, I click on most recent. And I can start liking and interacting with the other people that are here. I'm going to say wonderful. Okay, you see that? Now Jeanette says, how did you, how did you know his picture was AI generated? By just looking at the photo, you can tell that it's AI generated. Okay, I want to add more value. Let's look at Jeanette's post, Jeanette's profile. Jeanette, I love your profile. This photo is a little too close to the circle. I would kind of move it back a little bit. Um, and also this is kind of like broken. Um, I, you can add a link under your name here. I don't know if you know this, but you can add a link under where it says North Charleston, South Carolina. You can add a link there. If I click on contact info here, um, I see you have your website for people to contact you. That's cool. Um, and also you don't really have contact information and call to action in your abouts. You just say let's connect, but you don't really have contact information there for people to connect with you. So I'm going to tell SD to connect with you. Boom. SD just sent you a connection request so you can take things to the next level. Um, okay. So how does this work? Video uploaded successfully. Do you see the way this video works now? There's a 5-minute video, 3-minute video here, just like this. So I'm gonna copy this right over here. And then I'm going to close this video out and then I'm going to go to my own profile and I'm going to, I'm going to just give this video a quick little like here. Boom. I'm going to say great advice, @SD. Love this video. If anyone needs the, um, notes, let me know. We also make the replay available for anyone who buys the bundle. Just text 973-841-8868 with the word bundle. Okay, so if you send the word bundle to 973-841-8868, do that. I do recommend using 3 hashtags in every single post, but you don't need hashtags on posts. Hashtags are kind of dead, but people still use hashtags on posts. Okay, moving on. Let's move on to more tips. If you guys want more tips, write more tips in the chat. If not, we could just end the stream and I can go back to whatever I was doing. Let me know if you want more tips. If we get at least 5 people to say more tips, we'll keep moving on. If not, we'll kind of wrap up. Um, I talked about resiliency and consistency with LinkedIn, balancing virality with strategic content. I'm a big fan of being strategic instead of going viral. I talked about using AI as a strategic tool, leveraging data. So for example, I have a connections dashboard. So if I go in my home here, and I open up my LinkedIn Evvy AI Pro Connections dashboard, you'll notice that I have something called AI Research. And when I click on AI Research on any person, it'll quickly gimme tons of research, tons and tons of research on every single person I'm connected to on LinkedIn. Do you see that? It pulls up their target audience, their key, how she helps clients, her contact information, social profiles, conversation starters, potential business opportunities. In just seconds, I have an AI agent that can take every single person that I'm connected to. And do deep amounts of research, and then you can ask it questions to do even more. Jack says, where do we get the replays if we're in Pro? You go to log in to Evergreen, evyrgreen.com. You click login on the top right. You put in your username and password just like this. You put in your username and password, and then what you do is where it says Evy AI Bonus Training, you click on it. And then you scroll down to where it says, um, 2025 LinkedIn Influencer Summit, and you'll get access. You also get access to the 2024 LinkedIn Influencer Summit as well. And then you can see the onboarding stuff here. You can see our one-sheet thing where we make one-sheets for people very quickly and so on. So there's a lot of really great benefits of getting the bundle. So just write bundle in the chat or send the word bundle to 973-841-8868.
Okay.
We need 5 people to say more tips on content strategy. Let me know if you want more tips. Just write more tips in the chat. Jack says, where do we get the replays? Okay, great. So let's talk more tips on content strategy. Let's skip ahead to the last person who spoke about content strategy. We're going to go down to Jasmine's presentation. So Jasmine's presentation combined his passion for copywriting and a deep dive into psychology, what's behind content creation. So he's a big fan of psychology. That's his thing. Um, so I always tell people, it's like psychology. Psychology is the key. And he agreed. He's like the perfect hook, the perfect hook, because LinkedIn posts previews only show the first 3 lines, including spaces. So if your first 3 lines don't really grab attention, how are you supposed to be successful? How are you supposed to truly be successful if it's not really If it's, if you're not really doing what you need to do from that perspective. So I tell people, take a moment and really connect with your audience. Really try to figure out what is—
Today I'm going to talk about—
What is the issue? So here's a video, for example, that I'm going to be posting now on LinkedIn with Jasmine's information. Check this out.
About something I'm very passionate about, which is creating content on LinkedIn. Today's topic is psychology. And I feel like it is one of those things that's super duper underrated on LinkedIn because everyone is so focused on the algorithm. Everyone goes super deep. into the topic of sales psychology, human behavior, the most overlooked thing on LinkedIn. Let me show you why. Because on LinkedIn, you can check this anywhere you want, on mobile, on desktop, on tablet, check this anywhere you want. The post preview on LinkedIn is only 3 lines long. Signposting has been around for hundreds of years. It comes from academia actually. And I did it immediately in my hook. By the way, you don't need to do this in your hook. You can do this anywhere in the post. You don't just do it once. You can do it 5 times in a post. Remember all 3, please. Number 1, the 3-line rule. Number two, use signposting. And number three, the TED Talk moment. Thank you, everyone.
Guys, let me know if you guys want more, and I'll arrange it for myself to volunteer time to spend with Yasmin to help him. Thank you so much for doing this. That was so sweet.
Today I'm going to talk about.
Okay, so now I'm going to download this video. So artificial intelligence helped me be able to chop up the whole thing, organize it in a very meaningful way. Then I'm going to teach you guys how I.
Today I'm—
How I create a post about this right now. So I'm gonna take the key takeaways just like this. You see that? I'm gonna take all my notes from the key takeaways, press copy, or I can just drag them in here just like this. You see, I just drag them in here and I hit generate, and it's gonna generate a really good post that I could post on LinkedIn. And then I'm gonna go to the homepage of LinkedIn. I'm gonna click on start a new post. See that? Now I'm going to click on this Add Media button. I'm going to take the Jasmine video right over here. I'm going to press Next, upload the video. I'm going to, um, comment this. I'm going to take this video right here just like this, and I'm going to paste it in here. And that didn't come out right. I'm going to press copy this, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+V. Okay, that worked better.
Okay.
So it gave me a few hooks, but I'm just gonna say the 3-line rule by Jasmine Alec. Here's what I've found. I'm gonna say Did you watch the influencer? Here is his tips. Optimize your hook. Preview tools like AuthorIt Up. Um, signposting. TED Talk moment. Well, there's every word counts, make them count. What's your favorite way to hook your audience? Um, want my top 49 hooks? I have them available. Just let me know you want them by reposting this post. Okay, I'm going to hit post and let's just see what happens. So now what I'm going to do is now that this post is on and you saw the way I quickly created it in just seconds, I created that post and you also see that people are starting to engage with Esty's post. You see this is a 3-minute video. Michael says connecting is enough. That's where I need to work on. I need to nurture connections, but how I nurture thousands of connections is time-consuming. Use eviai.com. And I'm going to, I'm going to go like that. And I just tagged him and I said, use eviai.com. All right. So now I'm going to go here. I'm going to click on home. And he said, we'll notify you when the, when the post is ready. The post is already ready. I'm going to click on these 3 dots. I'm going to hit copy link to post. And then what I'm going to do is I'm going to go into the messaging and then I'm going to message it to a few people. So I'm going to go into the Sprint Booster. And if you guys want to be part of our community, just say, I want to join the community. I'm going to click in here and I'm going to remove this question mark and all this stuff. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, paste it in here just like this. You see that? I just pasted it like that. I'm going to click here. I'm going to open up this one here as well. And I'm going to share this just like that. You see that? I just shared it like that. Um, and, uh, let's see. My assistant needs some help with some stuff, so we're gonna have to wrap up in just a minute. Um, but if you guys got value, just write, I got value from the chat here. Um, and tag somebody that you think would get value from this. You see how many people I'm chatting with here? Um, I highly, highly recommend that you guys take the time to connect with people, build relationships, and really get to know them because the right strategy will save you a decade. And real relationships is the key to drive business, not just spraying and praying or hoping for the best, but building real relationships with people. That's going to be the key. That's how you're going to really take things to a whole new level. So yeah, just take the time to really get to know people and connect with them. And, you know, that's, that's what I, I recommend that you guys do. Um, if you want to be able to take your life and your business to a whole new level. And if you haven't tried Evvy AI, definitely go ahead and try Evvy AI. You can download the Chrome extension, um, available right now on the Chrome Store. I can see, you can see it has many, many reviews, including my own review. I put my own review in there as well. But let me just see if I can see all the reviews. Rick says, as an early adopter and user of this amazing tool since it was created, I'm going to do all reviews. I'm going to—
okay.
Can I see the most recent ones? Oh, February 19th is the most recent one from, from Rick. And then Philip left one as well. And Joel Goldman's left one as well. But these are most recent ones. So if you guys are using this, let me know that you guys are using this and that you want to leave a recommendation for us. That would be lovely. Thank you so much for being part of this. Appreciate you guys. If you need anything, hit me up and I'll see you guys on the next video. We'll be doing some more recaps on LinkedIn Live and building some more relationships. All right, talk to you guys soon. Boom.
Bye.
