Why did suddenly everybody join us? What happened?
Okay, okay, I'm leaving.
I'm leaving.
That's it.
You're leaving? Why? Why is everybody here? Why did everybody? Well, listen, there was four hours of training, and there were eight influencers teaching LinkedIn strategies, and. It was very difficult to kind of pick up everything because there were so many things that were taught. So I figured I would do a little bit of a recap for you guys, especially if some of you missed it. I figured we'd do a little recap and we would kind of share some of the strategies that we got. If anybody has any favorite moments, let me know if you were there or you're looking forward to the replay in the chat. Let me know if you were there or you're looking forward to the replay. Curious to know. Um, and overall, like, what did you guys think about it? What did you guys think about the Influencer Summit? I'm curious to know. Lance is coming in. We got a bunch of people coming in. This is very exciting. Um, there were, there were a lot of speakers. I'm going to review some of the notes with you guys. Um, and We'll talk about the concepts that each speaker spoke about. And then I'll take questions from you guys on like how to do things and whatnot. Like if you guys are curious about how to do things, I'm going to share. If you guys want to share in the chat, what is your LinkedIn URL? Feel free to go ahead and do that. Share your LinkedIn URL in the chat. So this way everybody can connect with each other. I always love seeing the way people connect with each other and build relationships. I'll be monitoring the chat. So if you guys have questions or whatever, great people, great information, great, super great takeaways. Loved it. I was there both blah blah blah. Okay, great, amazing. Put your LinkedIn URLs in the chat. This way we can get to know each other. And this is all about relationship building, connecting, getting to know each other. So I wrote a Substack article. I don't know if you guys are familiar with Substack. I wrote a Substack article that has a recap of all the notes and I posted it all over LinkedIn and so on and so forth. So if you guys haven't seen that, let me know that you want it. So let me tell you, the first speaker's name was Joshua Lee. He's known as the Dopamine Dealer. And he shared his concept of SEO and AEO, this concept that LinkedIn ranks really, really well. Inside tools like Claude and ChatGPT and Gemini. Well, I've been doing some research to see how well LinkedIn ranks within these platforms and also to see how well these platforms are able to pick up your stuff. On, on, you know, like, is, is, is LinkedIn actually allowing the LLMs to browse LinkedIn? And the answer is no, it's not allowing them. It's interesting. You think it is because it actually does have it within it, but it has indexed information in it. It doesn't really have, it doesn't have the ability to browse it in real time. Do you know what I mean? Like whatever it's able to index, it has it indexed. ChatGPT is the only one that can actually index, uh, view LinkedIn in real time, which is interesting because they have a relationship with Microsoft. I'm going to show you how I discovered that, show you evidence. You guys curious? So watch this.
Yes.
Watch this. I'm going to share my screen. So if I go into, let's say, Claude, you guys know Claude, right? And I give it a LinkedIn URL. So I'm going to go to, for example, This post over here and I give it this LinkedIn URL over here. I'm going to call and say, can you—
Sorry, Joe, can you hit record please?
I didn't hit record?
No.
Okay, let me hit record. Record. Okay, here we go. Can you read this? I'm going to go into Claude and I'm going to say, can you read this? Claude says fetching, fetching linkedin.com. It said failed to fetch. Do you see? LinkedIn blocks external access to content via robots.txt. So I'm not able to fetch this post directly. Can you see that?
Directly, please. She put on a laptop strategy, not just LinkedIn.
I just muted everybody. Can you see that it's blocking it? If I go to Perplexity and I say, can you read this? It says accessing LinkedIn post. No, I cannot read it. I cannot read it. So it can't read linkedin.com/feed/update. If I go to ChatGPT, And I say, can you read this? It's gonna say no, I cannot read it because LinkedIn blocks LinkedIn. LinkedIn blocks through the robots.txt/feed. I tried, but I couldn't do it. You see that? Now there is a route that LinkedIn allows ChatGPT to go through. Do you want me to tell you the route? Which is interesting because we say share the feed URL, share the feed URL, share the feed URL, but the LLMs can't read the feed URL. This LLM, ChatGPT, can actually read the post URL. So I'm going to go here, I'm going to grab the post URL of the same post. I don't even know which post I was just sharing. Which post was I sharing? I was sharing This post here. I was sharing the post.
Could you enlarge your screen a little bit so we can see better?
I was, I was sharing this post over here. Hang on, let me just tell Jen. Hey, Jen.
Hello, how are you?
Good. No, no worries. I'm actually— I, I am, I am, I'm doing a class right now. I'm doing a class right now. Um, I'm Should I call you back when I'm done with the class at like 7?
Text me.
I'll text you. All right, thank you.
I've got a dinner at 7, but just text me.
Okay.
And I'll see if I can step away.
All right, thank you. Bye. Do you see, do you see this, this poll over here? This is a LinkedIn poll. By the way, if you guys wanna be included in my Engage LinkedIn Creators directory, you can vote on that poll. I give instructions there. I say, like the post, vote on it, comment meaningfully by adding an idea or tagging somebody, and then repost it and let me know that you did it via DM. You see that? 5 steps. Some of you did that. Most of you didn't. Most of you just kind of voted. Um, but I'm going to go get the actual— I'm going to go get the actual post URL of this, of this poll. The way that I do that is by going to the actual poll and then clicking on the 3 dots on the top right corner of the poll and then clicking on copy link to post.
Okay.
I just copied the link to the post. So instead of the feed URL, I'm gonna take the same post and I'm gonna say, can you read this? And I'll give it the feed URL.
Okay.
I'll give it the post URL. Now if I tell ChatGPT, can you read this? Let's see what it says.
And you didn't even clean it, Joe.
I didn't even clean it. It says I can't read it. Oh my God, yesterday it said it could read it. Hang on a second. Um, I thought you can read post URL and not feed URL. Let's see what it does now. ChatGPT was reading it yesterday and I had it and I was like, oh my God, look, you can read it. You're right. Sometimes post URL is easier than feed URL. Uh, but the real gate is in the URL format is decide whether I could read it or not. For this specific post, when I open the post URL, returns sign in, post is not available. Maybe cuz it's a poll. Let me hit Ctrl+Shift+N. Oh, look at that. It's not working. Okay. So for polls, that's so funny that polls don't work. Okay. So let's find another post. We just learned something new. Polls don't work. All right, let's go back here. Let's find another post. Um, let's say for example, this post over here, it says, have you ever heard the phrase out of sight, out of mind? I say, if you're out of sight, you're out of your mind.
Okay.
That's this post that I wrote over here. I said, how often do you post on LinkedIn? I'll send you guys this post if you want to check it. They didn't flag Joe Dagmar. I'm going to press Ctrl+Shift+N just to kind of see what that looks like. Yeah. So you see, this can be seen over here. You see that I'm doing incognito and I'm showing you that this could be seen. Okay. So now I'm going to copy the post URL. I'm going to go back into ChatGPT. I'm going to say, can you read this? Can you read this? All right, let's just see if it can read it. Yes, this one is readable. Here's the full text. Okay, so now ChatGPT is able to read the post URL that LinkedIn shows publicly. It can't read polls, but it can read text posts, which is interesting. So ChatGPT can actually crawl LinkedIn via this URL. If I gave it the other URL of the same post, do you guys know how to get the feed URL of this post? You guys know you go to postreviewtool.com. You could review this post, copy the feed URL right over here. It says clean feed URL copy. I'm going to send it to ChatGPT. I'm going to say, can you read this post? I wanna see what it does. And it's gonna say, I tried to open feed update URL, but it returns an unexpected status code blocked response. It's the same post you sent, but I can't read it. I can read it via post, but I can't read it via feed. Get it? Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, nobody else can read /posts, even this post. But ChatGPT told me that it has an exception, that it is allowed to do it. Isn't that interesting in terms of AEO? Okay, so we're talking about answer engine optimization. Answer engine optimization. What is answer engine optimization? Is the ability to come to show up inside search engines. The ability to show up inside LLMs. So you may have noticed something that I did on my LinkedIn recently. Did you guys notice that inside my LinkedIn, uh, let me go in here. Did you notice that inside my LinkedIn, if I go to my posts, I'm gonna go to my posts over here. I'm going to show you, I have newsletters and I have 50 Famous Voices, the recap FAQ. So I created this LinkedIn Influencer Summit 2026 FAQ recap notes by Joe Apfelbaum, CEO of Evvii. So I have questions. What is the Influencer Summit? Who hosts the summit? What is the summit really free? How big is the summit? What makes the summit different from other LinkedIn webinars? Who are the speakers of 2026? Will there be a summit next year? Do you see the way I'm asking questions and I'm answering them? Asking questions, answering them, asking questions, answering them. This is what feeds the LLMs. So let's just see if ChatGPT can pick this up. I'm gonna say, can you read this? Okay, let's see if it can read /pulse. So we said it can read /posts. We said it can read slash— it can't read /feed, but yes, it could read /pulse. Now let's see if Claude, can you read this? Let's see if Claude can read /pulse. Fetching. Same issue. LinkedIn blocks external robots. Isn't it funny how it blocks Claude, but it doesn't block ChatGPT? Let's try Perplexity. Can you read this? Now the insane thing is that Substack is not blocked by any LLM. Do you understand? Substack is not blocked by any LLM. So if I look at the sources, it's still picking up LinkedIn. You see the way it picks up LinkedIn? Somehow it's still picking up LinkedIn, but it can't browse it directly. But Substack, it can browse directly. So if I say, can you read this? Let me go here. Can you read this? Let's just see if it does. Yes. Great article, Joe. Here's a quick summary. Okay, so here's the takeaway. You can post on LinkedIn for ChatGPT to pick up your posts and your articles, and it does a great job. It picks it up really well. But if you want to get into Claude, if you want to get into Perplexity, if you want to get into other places, you need to also post your content in other places that allows those answer engine optimization, those LLMs to crawl. Is this valuable what you guys are getting right now? Because if you want to get into the LLMs, you're not automatically just going to get in there. You need to do something to get in there. That means you need to produce content that is AEO optimized to get in there. Now I have customers that have paid me thousands of dollars that told me, because as soon as somebody calls me and they're ready to pay me money, the first thing I was like, where did you come from? Did Brett introduce you? Did Mike introduce you? Because I want to pay commission. I want to pay Mike commission. I want to pay Brett commission. I want to pay Rick commission. Do you get it? I want to pay Howard commission. I want to pay my clients for sending me clients. That's the best thing I can do. The best thing I can do is pay you money because you're going to want to send me more clients. So I'm, I'm always trying to figure out, okay, so where did you come from? you just paid me thousands of dollars. Who can I give money to? And he's like, well, I was on ChatGPT and I said, who's the best LinkedIn trainer? And ChatGPT suggested me. And then he started looking at all my videos that ChatGPT gave him. And he's like, oh my God, this guy's amazing. I love him. I want to buy his products. I want to buy his services. I want to get in touch with him. He actually gave me the ChatGPT chat that he had And I took screenshots of it and everything. I was very excited about it because I actually made money from AEO already. I got clients from it. I don't know how many more clients and how many more times I'm being suggested. I don't know if there's a way to see that. There's no analytics around that as far as I know, but it's interesting. Do you get what I'm saying? It's interesting. Okay. So that was Josh and that was cool because LinkedIn is a good source for AEO. It is. I mean, they're all picking it up, but they can't browse it directly, but they're picking it up. So it's good for you to think about what your clients are asking and put it into your profile, put it into your newsletters, put it into those things. So if you don't do it, he says use something called answer blocks. Identify 3 questions your audience constantly asks. Do you have the 3 questions your audience constantly asks ready in front and center? You want me to tell you a question that people ask a lot that are my ideal clients? How to get clients from LinkedIn. So let's Google that. Let's, let's just, let's just go, how to get clients from LinkedIn. How to get clients from LinkedIn.
Let's see if Janet Gemini has you.
Yeah. So if I search how to get clients from LinkedIn, I, I often will write how to get clients on LinkedIn on stuff over and over and over and over. And the reason I write that so many times is because people search how to find clients on LinkedIn, how to get clients on LinkedIn. And if you say how to get clients on LinkedIn, I'm just going to add I'm gonna add, there's a lot of competition for that, but I'm gonna add the word Joe after it. Do you see how many times I wrote how to get clients from LinkedIn fast with VAs, how to use AI to attract clients on LinkedIn every day, how to find clients on LinkedIn with AI, how to get clients in 2025 with LinkedIn? Do you see that? How did you find clients on LinkedIn? Joe Apfelbaum. How to get clients on LinkedIn. I didn't write Joe Apfelbaum. I just wrote Joe just so that I could pick up Joe as well. But do you get what I'm saying in terms of like how many times I have it all over the place? And how many times is LinkedIn showing up? LinkedIn, LinkedIn, LinkedIn, LinkedIn. Do you see? It keeps showing up because the word LinkedIn's in there, but also because it respects LinkedIn a lot. How to get clients on LinkedIn, 5 proven steps, how to book clients on LinkedIn. So I want you to think about what is the question What is the question that you think people are asking ChatGPT about your business specifically? What is the number one question, the number 2 question, the number 3 question? Now there are tools that tell you the questions that our people are searching for. Mike, you have a question?
Yeah, quick one. Is there in your GHL that you have, can you, can you actually put that in Substack too at the same time? Because you got the, you got the marketing area, you know. Do they have a Substack option in the GHL in your system?
No, Substack wants you to go in directly and post into Substack directly. Um, and, um, Yeah, it's not hard to post inside Substack. It's really easy to copy and paste and put it in.
Well, that one, and then also Reddit. I guess Reddit's a big, big one too.
Reddit's big as well. Yeah, Reddit's big as well. Reddit's actually really, really great as well, 100%. So, okay, so I have a question for you guys. Do you know what is the number one question, number two question, or number three question that your ideal clients are asking you? So check this out. I'm going to write a post on LinkedIn and let's see if it can get picked up. I'm going to go to LinkedIn right now and I'm going to say, what is— I'm just going to post a regular text-only post. What are the top 3 questions that your ideal clients are asking AI right now? Please leave a comment with what you think they are asking. Okay. I'm going to go ahead and just hit post. It's a very, very simple post. I'm going to click on the 3 dots. I'm going to hit copy post. I'm going to delete the UTM tags from here. And then I'm going to send you guys this post URL in the chat. So that you guys could brainstorm and then we could see all the questions that people are asking over there. What are they asking? What do you think your ideal clients are asking? Now I did build a tool that helps you generate questions. You guys want to see my question generator? I think it's good for AEO and I can show you all the other tools we provide to our clients. Do you guys know where to find my special Joe links? For Evie AI Pro clients, we have special Joe links. You guys know where to find them in the community? If you go to the school community— John, I'll show you here. Watch, I'm gonna share my screen again and show you real quick. If you go into the school community, the way that you find the community is through the extension. You click on the picture of the house, you click on community, then you click on classroom, then you click on library, then you click on special links. And then you look for a question. Question. I have 2. I have Question Generator and Enhanced Question Generator. We're just going to do the regular Question Generator. And I'm going to give you guys this as my little gift for you guys to click on. So let's say you type in a keyword. For example, I'm going to say LinkedIn sales Nav, or just, I was just going to say LinkedIn. Okay. I'm going to press generate and it's going to show me what is LinkedIn? How does, what does LinkedIn mean? How do you define LinkedIn? Why do you use LinkedIn? What is LinkedIn used for? What are the benefits of LinkedIn? What's a problem does LinkedIn solve? How do you use LinkedIn? How do you get started with LinkedIn? How does LinkedIn work? How do you set up LinkedIn? By the way, do you guys want to test this out for yourself and see what comes out of that question generator? Because if you can create a list of questions, I think that people ask me, the top 3 questions that people ask me is number 1, how do I get clients from LinkedIn? Number 2 is how do I get people to engage with my content? You know, I post on LinkedIn. How do I get people to engage with my content? And number 3 is how do I get people to reply to my messages on LinkedIn when I send people messages? Those are the top 3 questions. top 3 questions that I usually get, the problems that people have. Do you get what I'm saying? Which one of those 3 are you most curious about? 1, 2, 3, or all 3? You can write all 3. How do I get clients on LinkedIn? How do I get people to engage with my content on LinkedIn? Or how do I get people to reply to my DMs? Do you see how most of you are curious about all 3?
Yeah.
That's a really good sign. That's a sign that I've been teaching LinkedIn for 10 years and I know the problems that people have. Now, I wrote an article that ranks really well in Google that has 101 questions that people typically ask me about LinkedIn. And with AI, you can answer all the questions. You could even interview yourself and have AI take take all the answers to your questions. Today, this woman was supposed to interview me for her podcast. And do you know what happened? 2 minutes into the interview, she said, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I have to go. And then she just left. And I thought to myself, I still want her to interview me. So what am I going to do? I'm going to find her LinkedIn profile. And then I'm gonna have Evie AI do research on her with Grok. And then I'm gonna tell Grok to act as her and interview me and go on LinkedIn Live so it's not a waste. So I literally did that. I literally did that. And the beauty is that, you know, sometimes people have emergencies. It's okay. You know what I mean? I have no problem. You know, like I, but I still did my interview. I had the Grok version of her interview me on LinkedIn Live. How powerful is that? I have the interview, it's done, it's online and I got it done. And that's another way of using LinkedIn Live and using these hacks. So, okay. So he answered about AEO. That was big. I want everyone to think about the top 3 questions that your clients ask you, put it as a comment on the post I shared with you guys. And then think about a newsletter that you can add to your newsletters if you already have a newsletter. If you have more than 1,000 followers on LinkedIn, you want to consider creating at least one newsletter on LinkedIn because newsletters are getting picked up. If you need help creating a newsletter, let me know that you need help creating one. I can help you. Next, Nat Berman, the Million Dollar T-Shirt Guy, He said there are 5 sources of leads on LinkedIn. He said number one is first-degree connections that posted on LinkedIn regularly. Do you guys know how to find the posts of your first-degree connections that no one commented on? There's a little hack. So he didn't talk about this. He said you have to go use Sales Navigator. But most of you don't use Sales Navigator, right? Some of you do. I have Sales Navigator. I think it's super valuable, but not everybody uses it. By the way, what version of LinkedIn do you have? Let me know in the chat. I'm curious to know what version you have. I have Sales Navigator, so I'm going to write SN, or I'm going to write Sales Navigator. Maybe you have premium. I'm clicking on the chat. Let's see. What, what, what version do you have? Sales Nav. Let's see, Sales Nav, SN, SN. Okay, we have quite a few people that have Sales Navigator, like Susan Tyson, Nelson, David, Dave, um, Jim Baker, John Keel. Cool. Okay, Sales Nav, Sales Nav. So if you have Sales Nav, it's important to learn how to use it, and we have a 6-hour class called the Sales Navigator Bootcamp that we give you along with the Bundle Plus. It's part of the Bundle Plus package. And we're also going to be sharing some new prospecting ways inside our prospecting bootcamp that we have coming up in March. We're going to be showing you guys how to use the AI-ified Sales Navigator. But let me show you something interesting. I'm going to share my screen again and kind of just show you this. If I go into, into Evy AI and I click on the Learning Hub, We have special links called quick links. And I know Rick always tells everyone, go into the quick links because there's gold in there. So if you go down to link number, uh, let's—
20.
20, thank you. Link number 20, it's LinkedIn posts without comments. See a list of the posts of your first-degree connections that have no comments and be the first to comment. So if you click on that, it's going to show you a list of the posts of your first-degree connections. You see this person over here, Pamela, she's paying for LinkedIn. 4 minutes ago she posted. Can you see that? She posted 4 minutes ago. It's not going to show up on the feed ever because of the way she posted. So I'm going to go ahead and give like. I'm going to go into here. I'm going to use the keyboard shortcut Alt+Ctrl+G. It's going to produce a comment. Then what I'm going to do is I'm going to tag her. And I'm going to press comment. And that, and this is what Nat says, the way he gets clients is by finding people of his first-degree connections that recently posted, going to their profile and then commenting on their posts, but also getting their information. You see that? This is her information. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to save her profile into Evie AI. And then I'm gonna push her information from Evie AI into GoHighLevel. But before I do that, what I want to do is I want to just grab her contact information from her profile. So Evie AI grabs her websites, her email, and her information, and I could just easily put it into Evie AI. And with the API to GoHighLevel, I could push it into GoHighLevel. Now I'm going to click on the message to see if I messaged her recently. And I messaged her. She said, happy birthday, blah, blah, blah. I am part of Julia Pimsleur's MDW Accelerator program. Okay. I'm going to say, I'm going to say, how have you been? So this is a very qualified lead for me. Let's just see where she's, what's going on with her here. I see she posted 5 minutes ago, 6 days ago.
Hey Tommy. Karen, you got a couple minutes? I do.
I am going to mute everyone. I don't know who was talking over there. But yeah, that's the idea. The idea is she is a qualified lead. I sent her a message now asking her how she's been. I'm going to go to her website just to kind of see what she has going on.
We opened 2 new restaurants while running how many?
Yeah, that's a, that's a TED Talk. That's not actually her website. So it's hard for me to find out information about her, but I'm going to use AI research to research her a little bit to see what type of information I could find out about her from the internet. You see? So I'm finding out information about her. She has all this TEDx talks she's doing, notable achievements, powerful women, partner with leadership workshops, learning and development clients, blend her STEM stuff. Okay.
Wow.
Okay, so this is great. She's, she's a great potential partner for me. You see that? And between what I found with Perplexity and what I found with Evvy AI and all these resources, I have a lot of information to go on to be able to go a little bit deeper. I do visit people's profiles and their websites to check what they actually have going on on their side, their website. Most people don't take that extra step to actually visit people's websites. And you could tell it's just not really loading her website. So I'll call her and tell her, hey, listen, you know, your website's not really loading. I'd love to chat with you and find out what's going on. Okay. By the way, is this making sense so far? Like what I'm talking about? Because to see people that are likely to answer your DM. My son's calling me. Hang on a second. Everything okay? Are you coming for dinner? Not today. Tomorrow. Bye, love you. Love you, bye. Love you too. If you want people to respond to you, you have to message people that are actually engaged on the platform because 60% of people are actually not engaged on the platform. So you'll message the majority of people that you message, if you don't have an indicator that they're active on the platform, you're messaging it into deaf ears because they're never going to see it. Do you know how many times I log into other people's profiles for them? And then I see they have like 50 outstanding direct messages and 100 people waiting to connect. And I was like, what's going on? They're like, it's too much. I'm like, it's not too much. If you log in once a day for 5 minutes a day, it's not too much, but you don't log in for 6 months. Of course, you're going to have like a battalion of stuff to do. Imagine if you didn't log into your email for 6 months, what that would look like. You know what I mean? So he says first connections who posted on LinkedIn recently. People who commented on your posts. Do you notice? You know how to see who commented on your posts on LinkedIn? It's really easy to do that. I'm going to show you. I'm going to go to my profile. By the way, do you guys like this pace or do you want me to move a little bit faster? Right, move faster, Joe, or nice pace in the chat. Dagmar's like, move slower, because I feel like I'm going a little slow. Dr. Sally, good, move faster. Nice pace, just right. Jane is saying slower. Good pace. Okay, most people are saying good pace. Okay, good. I'm going to share my screen again. By the way, if I move too fast, my staff meets with our clients twice a day and they move a lot slower than I do. They actually make you share your screen and go slow. Twice a day, every day at 12 and at 7. Do you get what I'm saying? So if there's something that I did and I'm moving too fast, go meet my staff. They move way slower than I do and they make you share your screen and they do it every day, twice a day.
Okay.
Yeah, it's the end of the day, so I'm chilling. Anshuma's like, usually go much faster than this. I know. I'm going to go down over here and I'm going to look through my recent posts. So I see the post where I asked the top 3 questions that your ideal clients are asking right now. By the way, we have almost 70 people here, but only 5 people commented with their top 3 questions. Is it because the rest of you don't know what your top 3 questions are, or you're having a hard time multitasking and you don't want to miss out? I'll just pause here while you guys go and fill in your questions, because that's important. So I'm going to do mine. What up, Chama? I'm coming tomorrow night because there's— I can't pull the car out now, but tomorrow I'll be able to pull it out. I'm also gonna pick you up on Wednesday. I'll come tomorrow and Wednesday because Thursday I can't.
Okay, bye.
Bye. Do you guys see, I said question 1, how do you get clients on LinkedIn? Question 2, how do, how do I get my LinkedIn connections to engage on my content? And question 3, how do I get people to reply to my direct messages on LinkedIn? Those are my 3 questions. I'm going to press comment. And I just commented with my own three questions. I'm going to stop the share for a second so you guys can go get your three questions because if you don't have your three questions, you're not going to be able to execute on your AEO strategy. Do you get what I'm saying? Anshuma, go ahead.
Not linked to this, but I'm in LinkedIn jail right now. I just. checked that I— my account is temporarily restricted because it looks like I've been commenting too early. So what do I do now? Why?
If you're—
if I— for a little bit, or—
Well, you don't have to. It's, it's unrelated to Evie AI. If your account gets restricted because you're commenting too much, it's because you're commenting too much. The question is, can you log into your account, or can you not even log into your account?
I can log into my account from my phone.
Okay, if you can log into your account from your phone—
I just got logged out there as well.
Great, so then you go to twitter.com/@LinkedInHelp, and then what you do is you just message them and say, I've been locked out of my account, can you help me? And they'll say, yes, what's your email address? And they'll send you an email or they'll give you the link of exactly what to do.
Hmm.
Sometimes LinkedIn does this as an automated system, that if you do too much activity from too many IP addresses or you do too many things, they block you out. You know, um, one of the guys, Richard Vanderblum, who's a big— who's a big guy on LinkedIn, his account got restricted because one of his posts went viral. The same thing happened to me last December. I posted a video I got 5,000 likes on the video and I got restricted. So I contacted LinkedIn through Twitter and within a few days they unrestricted my account. They're like, I'm so sorry, Joe, we're gonna give you back all your followers. Don't worry. But I had some downtime. I got time to play on Facebook and Substack and other places. Get it? It's good to be—
Yeah.
It's good to be diversified and it's good to make sure that you back up your LinkedIn account. So in case you don't have access to LinkedIn anymore, you still know who your connections are. And keep in mind, Evie AI works everywhere. It works on school, it works on Facebook, it works on Twitter, it works everywhere. Rick, go ahead.
And Joe, I put, I put the link in the chat. It's actually x.com, not Twitter, but, um, it may work that way as well. They, they will always respond to you and Shuma within 24 hours. But the people that I've heard that are getting restricted, it's typically a 3-hour or 24-hour kind of a timeout. They just put you in timeout. Yeah, I'm in— it looks like I'm in timeout till 10:28 PM today. So let me see if things go back to normal after that. But thanks for sending the link. And thanks, Joe, for sharing your inputs on this. Yeah, I feel like I got a badge of honor now. Just Being in the LinkedIn game.
Yeah, and look, at the end of the day, this is an automated system that stops people from doing too much activity on the platform. So here are some of the things that LinkedIn will restrict you on. If you look at too many people's profiles, they will pause your account. They'll be like, you're looking at too many profiles. You know why?
They want you to be on Premium or Sales Navigator or something else.
Wait, hang on. So do you have a free account?
I had premium. I just stopped recently.
There's something LinkedIn has called the commercial use limit. Have you ever heard me talk about the commercial use limit? You can Google those 3 words. Should we Google it together? We'll Google it together.
Yep.
We'll Google it together. So LinkedIn has something in their terms and conditions that doesn't allow you— here, I'm gonna type in commercial use limit. Okay, so LinkedIn says the following: if you reach the commercial use limit for searching, your activity on LinkedIn indicates that you're likely using LinkedIn for commercial use, like hiring or prospecting. prospecting. You'll see a warning as you approach your limit. Your free monthly usage resets at midnight on the 1st of the calendar month. We're not able to display the exact number of searches or views you have left and cannot lift the limit upon request. As a note, that the warning that you're approaching the limit may not display if you run through the full amount of searches too quickly. Specific activities that contribute to your limit include searching for profiles on LinkedIn, browsing LinkedIn profiles for people also viewed, Viewing members' profiles in the People tab on the LinkedIn pages. Essentially what's happening over here is that LinkedIn's terms and conditions says that if you use it for hiring and prospecting, then you have to pay them money. You have to get Premium or Sales Navigator. And if you don't, they're going to block you and they're going to claim other stuff. But that's, that's the idea.
Yep. Um, so it could be either. It could be me looking at adding more people on my LinkedIn list, which was very effortless earlier with LinkedIn Helper.
Yeah.
I think LinkedIn Helper still works better.
Um, I wouldn't talk about LinkedIn Helper now. That's not something I would talk about. That's not something I would use right now or talk about it, but there's definitely something you should ask me in the future. Okay. Here's something I want to tell you guys. If you're serious about LinkedIn, then I would pay for LinkedIn because you're going to get features that are really important. Another feature that Nat Berman mentioned is profile viewers. LinkedIn allows you to see everyone that viewed your profile if you're paying for LinkedIn. And that is a real big indicator that someone's interested in you. Do you guys want me to show you how to see who viewed your profile on LinkedIn? I'm going to show you 2 ways. I'm going to show you the organic way, and then I'm going to show you the Sales Nav way. And then I'm going to teach you how to apply filters in a very meaningful way so that you can do some pretty fancy footwork. Check this out. First, I'm going to show you the organic way. I'm going to go to Evvy AI. I'm going to go into the Learning Hub, and then I'm going to click on Quick Links, and I'm going to scroll down to—
Which one is it?
29. 29. You see it says 29 here? Thank you, Rick. Thank you, Mike. Number 29, review who viewed your profile, send them a direct message, and comment on their posts. I'm going to go ahead and click on that. Do you guys see I clicked on that? So once I click on that, it's going to show me all the people that looked at my profile. I have in the past 90 days, 4,757 people that looked at my profile. Now let me ask you a question. If 4,000 people came to your profile in one day, would you be able to handle all that and know what to do with it? No, you wouldn't. But if you get a few dozen people looking at your profile each day, you know what to do with it. So for example, Lauren Weeks, who's a fractional COO, he's already a client. He looked at my profile. Latha Kumar, who's already a client. Bobby, Christy, Barbara, Mike, who's on this call. Brett, who's on this call. Scott Scales, Skylar Sutton, founder and chairman. I think I sent a message to Skylar recently. Sue, who I just had a call with. Maishi Walliner, Daniel, Tim, a medical doctor, Vladimir, the CEO of this company, Katie. These are all people within just the 5, the first, the last 5 hours. You see that? So let's say I'm going to go for this guy, Martin, the CEO of this company. I'm going to click on message. And it looks like the last time I touched base with him was in About a year ago, a little less than a year ago. Look at that. We even got a selfie together back in 2019. I don't know where this was, but it looks like we did a selfie together. Great. Let me click on contact info. I have his cell phone number. You see that? So I can literally just call him, copy, go into my CRM, This is the CRM that I use. I use GHL, and I could just call. Click on the the the thing on top there and just press call, and then the phone starts ringing.
Hello.
Hello, this is Joe Apfelbaum. Thank you so much for checking out my LinkedIn profile. I appreciate you looking at my profile. What's going on? Everything good, Martin?
Yeah, Joe, how you doing?
Lekker. I'm doing sweet like a lemon. Life is amazing. What about you? So all good here.
A question.
Yeah.
Is David your brother?
David is not my brother. Yehuda is my brother. By the way, do you remember we took a selfie together in 2019? We absolutely Do you want to set up a one-on-one for later? Maybe, maybe we get together and I learn what you're doing and you learn what I'm doing and I'll— and you'll tell me why you haven't been posting on LinkedIn and we can have a nice conversation.
Absolutely. But in the meantime, I do want to ask you a direct question, which is, do you have any link to David? Because someone gave me details.
I looked up his surname and Send me, send me his, um, send me his LinkedIn URL via LinkedIn. I'll take a look at it and tell you everything I know.
Cool. All right.
All right, my man. I will. And let me know when you want to chat. Send me a text. Okay. Or whatever. All right. Thank you so much. All right. Bye.
Cheers.
What just happened, ladies and— what happened, ladies and gentlemen? Was that a weird call? Or was that the most amazing thing you ever heard in your life? Amazing, right? Now I have 30,000 connections. 30,000. The guy needs to talk to me. I need to talk to him. He hasn't posted in 6 months. He's a CEO of a major company. I am connected to 10,000 CEOs, most of them Inc. 500 CEOs that I've been collecting over the past Decade. Many of them I took a selfie with at an event in 2019 or whenever. But when's the right time to call, says Nat Berman, when they visit your profile? Is it hard to find someone's cell phone number? Not if you know how to click contact info. And if you have the right technology, it makes your life a lot easier. I just showed you in real time. Could it have gone to his cell phone? Yes. I don't know. I didn't plan that. I didn't plan that. And there were so many more other people. I have 4,700 people I can go through, but that's one example. I showed you one example, right? The chances of somebody picking up the phone is actually higher than you think. How do I know? Because I'm regularly doing calls. I have a team regularly doing calls, and each member of my team will often book 10 meetings in one day. Besides all the other people they spoke to, they actually book 10 meetings with people that are interested in talking from making calls. So calling does work. You have to know what to say. And that's what we're going to be teaching in our prospecting bootcamp coming up that Mike is going to be part of. And Rick is going to be part of, and we have all these amazing people. Anshuma is going to be there. Amazing people coming to the prospecting bootcamp. We're going to spend— and John's going to be there. We're going to spend 4 90-minute sessions teaching prospecting. John says, how do you choose who to access as a connection on LinkedIn? I decide Based on 3 factors. One, do I know them? Do I know this person? Do I want to connect with them because I know them? That's number one. Number 2 is, are they a potential client of mine? So that's number 2. Are they a potential client of mine? Number 3 is, are they in the position to refer business to me? Are they a center of influence? Those are the 3 reasons that I ask myself, like almost like a filter. Do I know this person? Yes or no? If it's no, maybe I won't connect. Maybe I will. If it's yes, I'll connect. If it's no, then I go to the next one. Are they a potential client for me? Can they buy from me? Right? If it's yes, I'll connect with them. If it's no, I'll move on to the next question. The next question is, can they refer business to me? Are they a fractional CFO?
Right?
Or in your case, who's a good CIO for you? And then you can add additional questions to your filter. Like, are they engaging with my content? Do they pay for LinkedIn? Blah, blah, blah. Can they buy Evy AI and can I make money off my affiliate link? You know, like you can ask yourself additional questions, but those are the first 3 questions I'll ask myself in my filter of whether or not I should accept a connection request. Okay, let's see what else Nat said. By the way, if you guys want the full replay of the 4 hours of the Influencer Summit, it went much faster than this and there was a lot more tips. I'm just pulling out some gems for you guys from each of the influencers I'm gonna cover. I'm not gonna cover every single thing everybody said, but for anyone that wants the replays, we make it available through the Bundle Plus. So if you go to the website, www.thebundleplus.com, plus.com, you can purchase the Bundle Plus and we give you $52,000 worth of value for less than $2,000 a year. It includes 2 licenses of Evie AI Pro, plus it includes the Evergreen Networking System, plus the Sales Nav Bootcamp, plus the 8 years of the Influencer Summit, plus the past couple years of the Inc. 5000 list, plus, plus, plus, plus a bunch of other bonuses. Okay, so that was Nat. He also said look at your followers as well. Let's talk about Esty. Esty said she focuses on the E I E I O method, which is the types of posts you should be posting on LinkedIn. You guys remember what the E I E I O method? Engaging information, entertaining something, something, something. Oh, okay. Educational, inspirational, entertaining, informational, and oh, offer, offer something, present a call to action, something like that. So what, let's look at some of my posts just to kind of see if I use the EIEIO method and see which ones fit into what. Just to kind of look back. So if I look at my posts over here, I see this one over here, 16 comments on this post that you guys hopefully commented on. What are the top 3 questions your ideal clients are asking AI right now? Please leave a comment and let me know what you think they are asking. And by the way, out of the 70 people here, the 66 people here, David Austin asked a question, Latha, Jane, Anshuma, Dagmar, Mike, John, Susan, Rick, Bobby, Howard, James, John Keel, Joshua, and Nelson. And nobody else. It's, it's interesting. I'm gonna stop sharing my screen for one more second. I just want to emphasize something. If you are not regularly leaving comments on posts, you are not regularly Putting yourself out there. Now, there might be a reason why you don't want to put yourself out there, but you either have reasons or you have results. And if you want more exposure on your profile, you need to start putting yourself out there more. On average, 1,000 people see each post that I put up on LinkedIn. 1,000. There's a guy that works for the Navy He wants to talk to me. He wanted to talk to me now, but I'm talking to you guys, so I can't talk to him. I have approximately 15 people that want to talk to me right now, but I decided to prioritize doing this because I think you guys really need to learn this stuff. Do you get what I'm saying? That guy from the Navy that came earlier today, he told me that he found me on the feed on LinkedIn. And he came to an event because he saw me on the feed. Imagine me doing business with the US Navy. Imagine the Navy spending $1 million a year with Evvii AI because of a relationship that I have with their main recruiter because I posted something on LinkedIn. Or because I posted a comment on LinkedIn and my comment showed up on the feed. Comments show up on the feed. I want you guys to have a practice of posting, engaging, and messaging if you wanna get more exposure and you want the right people to find you. Is this making sense to you guys? Okay, let's go through and talk. And that was, so that was an engaging post. I engaged with you guys. Here's the second thing. Second thing is we're live right now, by the way. So for the past 51 minutes, I've been live. I'm going to press copy link to the live so you guys can go and check out the live. I'm going to go ahead and like my own post over here. And I'm actually going to go and use one of my templates. And I'm going to leave a comment with the notes of the Influencer Summit inside this live. You guys see, I just left a note from the template. I pushed it into the live. This saves me a lot of time. I have hundreds of templates inside Evvy AI, templates with images, with image prompts, templates with 19 different prompts. I have a LinkedIn strategy template. I have a DM triggers template. I have a LinkedIn 101 template. You see, I'm leaving comments on my own post. I have a $100 million offers video template. I have a content ideas template, 64 LinkedIn content ideas. Do you see that? I have a common mistakes people make on LinkedIn template. I have the posting party best practices of 2025 template. Look at all these resources I just dropped on my, on my own LinkedIn Live. And by the way, if you search LinkedIn Influencer Recap with Joe Apfelbaum, What do you think is going to come up on Google? All the different things that I've been doing here. Replay, recap, all this is going to come up. And if I just search Joe Apfelbaum, look how many things come up for my name. Tons of videos, articles. Tons and tons of stuff. And if you wanna search, let's say for videos, let's just see if YouTube will actually show this video live right now, 'cause it's on YouTube Live now. A ridiculous amount of videos on here. Okay, it's not coming up here, but it's interesting. I'm gonna go back to the other one here. This one over here. Have you ever heard the phrase out of sight, out of mind? I'm asking people for engagement here, inspiration. This one over here, I had a podcast interview scheduled with a connection and she canceled two minutes in. You see that? This is her canceling and me continuing to go. This is our fourth posting party. This is posting party prep. This is my LinkedIn poll. This is a video of me talking about the new tool I created. And on and on and on and on. By the way, do you see these AEO news articles over here? These are getting a tremendous amount more impressions than my standard posts. They're outperforming my standard posts. This one, 5,000 impressions. You see that? My AEO posts. But I have a variety of different types of posts because sometimes I wanna put up a 5-minute video and go deep with you while I'm walking down the street. I don't always wanna try to get as much views as possible. I would rather 100 people watch my video than 1,000 people browse a post randomly, random people. Do you get what I'm saying? If 100 relationships watched a 5-minute video, there's 1,000 times more value in that than 1,000 randos looking at your post. Do you get what I'm saying? How many of you have posted a 5 or 10-minute video in the past month on LinkedIn and got 100 of your relationships to watch it? I want you to think about that. People are chasing views, chasing views. Instead of chasing views, connect deeply with people. Get to know them. Get to know people. Nat Berman says, would you rather have 1,000 impressions and 1 appointment or 100 impressions and 10 appointments? Good point. Also, um, Esti talks about the Gary Vaynerchuk $1.80 strategy. Give 2 cents to 10 people per day. Give 5 cents to 4 people, 10 cents to 2 people. A single high-value comment of the right post landed Esti a $40,000 deal. And this happens to me over and over and over. I comment on people's posts. And people notice me. They remember me. They appreciate me. You know that a comment on someone's post is a favor to them? Can anyone guess why that's a favor? When I leave Latha a comment, I'm doing her a favor. Why? When I leave Troy a comment, I'm doing him a favor.
Why?
Why? Why when I— why when we leave Troy a comment, we're doing him a favor? Because that promotes his post. And many more of his ideal clients will then see it. You're expanding her reach, right, Marlene? So I want to comment as often as possible. I used to be stingy with comments, believe it or not. Years ago, I used to be like, I'm not going to be the one who comments because I worried about the opinions of other people. So if you're worrying about the opinions of other people, you're not in the game. You're in the stands. You're not one of the players in the game. The players in the game, they don't worry about the opinions of other people. They take action even if the fans are booing them. They still try to win the game. So if you're trying to win the game, what I want you to do is leave more comments. Leave 10 times more comments than you were leaving before. Don't leave crappy comments. Leave thoughtful comments, but leave more comments. Be intentional. Send more DMs. So if I see somebody's posts, even on Instagram or Facebook, I will be one of those people to be the only comment on the post. And people really appreciate that. Even if I put 3 hearts or 10 fire emojis, or even if I reply to someone's story on Instagram, it's a powerful way to connect. So Esty says, do that more. He says the old dog with new tricks, 7-step social selling system. Step number 1 is send 40 daily invitations to connect with people using Sales Navigator. I say send at least 20 connection requests a day. Expand your network. Every connection request accepted is an opportunity. Did you know that on LinkedIn, every time someone accepts your connection request, They become your follower. Did you guys know that? It's the only platform in the world where when someone connects with you, when you connect with someone, they follow you when they accept it. It's a weird thing. And you could have 30,000 connections and you get people's emails and cell phone numbers often. So It's an interesting platform that most people are ignoring. There's 8 billion people in the world. There's only 1.2 billion LinkedIn users. 60% of people are ignoring it. 40% are using it. Most people don't know how to use it. If you know how to use it, you can beat the matrix because you will now have followers. You know that I push followers from LinkedIn to Substack. From LinkedIn to Instagram, from LinkedIn to TikTok, from LinkedIn to YouTube. I get followers on LinkedIn and then I get them to follow me in other places. You get what I'm saying? And then I build relationships where there's less noise. There's noise on LinkedIn. It's not bad. There just is. There's a lot of noise, but you can push people to other platforms. And you can connect with them where there's less noise. I'll often connect with someone on Facebook too. I'll show you. For example, I'll give you an example. Watch this. If I want to look somebody up, let me see who looked at my profile recently again. I'm going to go here. I'm going to look at who looked at my profile. And I find this person here, Bobby Christie, Scott Scales, Lauren Weeks, Susan Tyson, Barbara. Okay, I'm gonna click on Barbara's name. As soon as I click on Barbara's name, Evie AI asks me, do you wanna see Barbara and all her stuff? It shows me her Facebook. It shows me all her stuff. So I'm gonna pull up her Facebook here. I'm gonna look up Barbara on Facebook and look at this. Barbara on Facebook. Do you guys see? She gives me a little heart because she cares about me so much. Look how much she loves me. She's giving me that little heart. So now I press message here and you see where we've been talking. I wished her happy birthday on February 10th. It's snowy here, so we picked dinner up and ate at home. We watched the Olympics together. Used to figure skate competitively. I used to figure skate competitively. Skating was on. Do you rollerblade? Now we're talking. Do you guys see what we're doing here? We're talking. If I want to check her out on LinkedIn, I just click on LinkedIn inside Evie AI. Now I see her on LinkedIn. Let's see where the conversation's going on LinkedIn. I click on the message box. She said, hey Joe, I'm not sure. Okay, so I wished her happy birthday and then she's like today and this, so that was 10 days, 13 days ago. She missed it 13 days ago on LinkedIn. I knew she missed it. So what did I do? Can anyone guess what I did? I'm showing you a specific example. Go ahead, Rick.
You called her.
I moved to Facebook and wished her on Facebook too, because on LinkedIn it was too noisy for her. Isn't that interesting? She responded to me same day. Where? On Facebook.
Facebook. Facebook.
She responded me same day on Facebook. On LinkedIn, she responded to me 13 days later. She eventually did. And the only reason she responded is because in my LinkedIn poll, I said, if you want to be my top 100 people in my Engage LinkedIn Creators Directory follow these 5 steps. Step number 5 was DM me. So when she DM'd me, she realized, holy shit, I didn't respond to him 13 days ago. This is also why I write in my about section on LinkedIn, if you see this, DM me. This is also why I say my pronunciation on LinkedIn. Have you ever seen next to my name, there's a little icon? with a little sound thing. When you play it, I say the following. I say, if you actually heard this, send me a DM letting me know that you heard this. My name is pronounced Joe Apfelbaum. I say something like that. That's less than 10 seconds. Why? I want people to DM me. Why do I want people to DM me? Because if you DM me, we're having a conversation. It's much more likely for me to get on the phone with you And for me to make an introduction for you or for me to help you in some way. But if you never DM me, we're not even talking. We're not even in the same channel. You get what I'm saying? So I want as many people as possible to DM me. That's why we have the birthday hack. You guys know about the birthday hack? Change your birthday to a date in the very near future, and then you'll have 1,000 people DM you on your random birthday. Then change it again. You can change your birthday a couple times a year. That's why you'll have your birthday all the time and all these people wishing you happy birthday constantly. It's amazing. Anyway.
Joe, you can also wish people a happy birthday even if it's not their birthday and they'll, they'll respond to correct you.
Correct. Or they won't because they'll check it on their birthday. Like we said earlier today, a broken clock is good twice a day. So eventually it'll be right. John also said step number 2 was daily review of profile viewers and post engagers. Send a warm welcome DM to new connections. Never pitch, build context first. Do you guys know how to find all your new connections? There's a special place where you can go to inside Evvy AI where you can see everybody's new connections. Let me show you where that is. So if you go back into the homepage of LinkedIn and you click on Learning Hub, and then you click on Quick Links, you're going to see recent connections. It's an R, so it's probably lower. Recent followers, recent connections, number 25. Do you guys see that number 25? So if you click on number 25, it'll show you a list of all your recent connections. So David Miller, is my most recent connection. So I'm going to click on message. And he said, IEO Platinum One, we be now connected, I wrote. I'm going to give myself a smiley face. And now what I'm going to do is I'm going to send him a picture and I'm going to paste the picture. I'm going to paste the picture from Evy AI into LinkedIn. Did you guys know that you can paste pictures by clicking on the copy button in Evy AI and paste it into the DM? Did you guys know that? Powerful, right? So I just pasted, I copied from here and then I pasted into LinkedIn and I said, thank you for the wonderful conversation. Looking forward to more. Do you guys have the prompt to make this image inside Evie AI? Do you guys have this particular prompt? That's a good prompt to have. So you upload your image and then you write a confident business leader matching the reference photo wearing a green fitted blazer with a crisp purple dress shirt. You can change the clothing, whatever you want. No tie, top button undone, approachable confidence, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I'll send that to you. Would like the prompt, Scott said. I'll put the prompt in the community. I'm going to go in here. I'm going to go to the community. I'm going to paste it in here. And I'm gonna say create this for when you speak to someone. I'm gonna call it image prompt. Okay, I'm gonna copy from here and I'm gonna paste it into here. Do you see the way I'm able to copy from Evie AI into Skool as well? Isn't that great? I'm gonna give it as an AI tip and I'm gonna paste it in here. Okay, so now you guys have this. Do you guys wanna try to use it right now? Build this out right now for yourself. Stop. I'm gonna go ahead. Go ahead, try it. Use it right now and then take your image that you created in Evie AI and put it in the school community as a comment. By the way, that's a great image to have handy after you have a conversation with someone holding a sign that says it was great talking to you. Do you get what I'm doing? Do you get what I'm saying? So you take that prompt exactly, put it into the Evie AI image generator in the side panel, add your image, and then press generate. Can you add their name to the image? You can add whatever you want to the image. You could add their name, you could add their mother's name, you could add their grandmother's name, you could add a picture of their dog. You could add whatever you want because we're using Nano Banana Pro. So Nano Banana allows you to do some pretty fancy footwork in there. Yes, it would be very nice to have an image like that. Very powerful. So I want you guys to think about the level of customization that you can have in welcoming people. So John also says, send 25 daily hand raiser DMs to first-degree connections in your market. A hand raiser is a soft. It mentions what you do and invites them to raise their hand if it's relevant. No pressure. So what's an example of a hand raiser? I'm going to tell you a hand raiser that I love to use. I'm going to tell you an example. I was looking at your profile and I noticed 3 things that will allow you to get more profile views. That you could improve. Would you like me to send you those 3 things you can improve, or would you prefer to get on a call so I can review them with you?
If—
so I can review them with you, which one would you want? So you give them the option, oh, send me the 3 things I can improve, or let's get on a call. If they say send me the 3 things, I'll send them the 3 things. And we'll be on our way. I'll usually send them the 3 things and an offer to get on the phone to fix them for them on the phone. Like often their headline will be off and I'll rewrite their headline for them while we're on the phone, or their photo will be off and I'll be like, I'll make you a headshot if we meet. Do you get what I'm saying?
Yeah.
So in your business, what's a good soft hand raiser that you can have in your business? John, what soft hand raiser is your go-to? What's your favorite hand raiser?
You know, one that works for me is, you know, I talk about, here's what I do. And I say, if you think it'd be worth a call, let me know. But I never— or worth a chat. Or I like what Rhonda says, if you think it would be worth a no sales zone chat, let me know.
Love it. A no sales zone chat, let me know. I like to ask questions that indicate they need my help without me telling them what I do. That's my opinion. That's like what I like to do because it gets me responses more often. Because people are just thinking about what's in it for them. That might work, by the way. You say, hey, I'm a LinkedIn trainer. I help people with training LinkedIn. If this makes sense, let's get on the phone. I could, you could do that. I like to instead lead with value because people are always thinking, what's in it for me? And they're also thinking, what's the catch here? What's in it for me? What's the catch here? It was a video of a guy standing on the corner of a busy street, giving out $1,000 and nobody wanted it. Isn't it interesting? But then when he told them, oh my God, watch out, watch out, I don't want you to get hurt, or I don't want you to get a fine, they all said, they're like, well, what's gonna happen? Where am I gonna get a fine? I don't wanna get a fine. 'Cause people are afraid. They're much more likely to respond to pain than to pleasure. People will try to help. They'll take your advice not to get pain faster than they'll take your advice to get pleasure. get pleasure. It's an interesting thing. Dagmar just shared, thank you for the wonderful conversation. Looking forward to more. Boom. Very nice. Dagmar, that's a lovely photo. Sally, Dr. Sally also shared one lovely photo. I love the way that you left the purple blazer, the purple blouse. Very good, Dr. Sally. Haha, I ran the prompt, my reference image, but it made me a man. Listen, it is what it is. Jane says, "I put mine in the post you created." Good job. Put it on school community so everyone can see it in the community. Okay, let me show you something else. Let me show you something else. I'm going to go into LinkedIn right now. This is the commercial use limit. I'm going to go into LinkedIn right now. I'm going to show you something interesting. Did you guys know? That if you go into notifications and you click mentions, you can see all the times that people mentioned your name? Did you guys know that? But what's more, this is if they mention your name. What if your name was actually just put into a post? Did you know that if you quote your name inside LinkedIn and then you click on posts, you will see every post that somebody posted with your name on it, even if they didn't tag you. So I'm going to do past 24 hours, and I'm going to see every post that you had my name in it in the past 24 hours. This is a good practice for you to use to see what's going on. Nobody posted any posts with my name on it in the past 24 hours on LinkedIn. Instead of the past 24 hours, I'm going to try the past week. And it looks like Theresa mentioned me. It looks like Michael North mentioned me. I'm going to go ahead and like it and leave a comment on it. It looks like James Keel mentioned me. You see that? 3 days ago. I already liked it and commented on it. Tammy mentioned me. It looks like Damien mentioned me. I attended the 2026 LinkedIn Influencer Summit this week and picked up some tips and habits that work well on the platform. Joe Apfelbaum, the host. Repeated a line frequently. A 5% drop in hydration can lead to a 30% drop in energy. Now we can debate the accuracy of the statistic, but what I found more interesting is the shape of the idea. Small things we do or we don't do can outsize the impact on performance. Great. I'm going to go ahead and leave a comment. Guys, we found the new post. Do you see that? I'm gonna go down. Fernando, Esty, Jane War, Robin Hatcher. What did she say? It was fun writing for hopes. Da da da da da. Joe, and she tagged me. Joe Applebaum here. You see that? I'm gonna go here, and I'm gonna leave her a comment. Robin, your words remind me that leadership is less about the answers, more about the presence. Okay, love that. Don Daniel Grunewald. He talked about the Influencer Summit. Love that. I'm gonna go ahead and comment on his post. Do you see the way I'm acknowledging people even if they didn't tag me? Isn't it interesting to do this? Mary McGuire McCann. Juan Jose. Social Selling Sam. Hatsu, and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Do you guys see? I'm not going to bore you with all of them. Do this for yourself. How many times have you been mentioned on LinkedIn in posts in the past week? Find out. And if the answer is not enough or zero times, ask yourself how many conversations you're getting on each day with people in your target market that are likely to do business with you. This is so good. By the way, all of you could be interviewing each other over the phone. It doesn't have to be on LinkedIn Live. You can ask Rick, 3 questions and write a post about the answers that Rick gave you. You can ask Arlene 3 questions. Arlene, what's your networking philosophy? Arlene, who do you decide who you're going to connect with? And then you can quote Arlene and get the answer. Here's a question I like to ask people. If 1,000 people can hear your message, what's the one sentence you would say to 1,000 people? Good question, right? What's the one sentence you would say to a thousand people? Buy my products and services quick. I don't think so. What would be that one message you would send to a thousand people if a thousand people could see your message? What would that message be? Go ahead, Mike.
Quick question. I did the the picture. But I'm trying to figure out how to put it into a template. And I know I should have known better. I missed out on some stuff because I was trying to do this.
You don't, you don't, you don't put the picture into a template. You just leave it in your recent generations and it just sits there. It doesn't need, it doesn't need to be a template. It just sits in your recent generations and you can see all your photos inside the side panel anytime you want.
You just copy and paste it, Mike.
Yeah, you're not, you're not gonna be able to copy and paste it into a template. It doesn't work that way. But it's a good question. How do you make a photo into a template? Right now, templates are text only and photos are photos and they sit inside the photos section. I see all my recent generations in the photos and I scroll down.
Is there, is there a way to file those photos accordingly?
Not yet. Not, not yet. We're going to be adding that very soon. So we're doing the refactor and the refactor is going to give us the ability to do things like that. We're gonna be able to search and filter and label and name and clone and make it into templates and so on and so forth. Yes, but not yet. That will— that's coming. That's one of the 200 features we're adding to Evie AI. We're also adding workflows where Evie AI will start doing things for you without you doing the thing. We're adding a bunch of new things. We're very excited. Okay.
Thank you.
You're welcome. All right. Here's another thing that he said, use LinkedIn birthday, job changes, and anniversary notifications as a natural warm touch point for moments. So I'm going to show you how I do birthdays. I'm going to go here. I'm going to click on greetings. So I have the greeting feeding in the meetings. So here's my LinkedIn DM for birthdays. I have belated and I have happy birthday LinkedIn and happy birthday Facebook. So I changed the date. I like including the date. Okay, I like including the date. I press save. Okay, today's the 23rd. Yesterday was the 22nd, so I change this to the 22nd. And then I go into Evie AI, I click on Learning Hub, and I go to link number 2, which is birthdays on LinkedIn. Now I have Kelly Williams. I click on here, Kelly Williams. You see that? And when I click on this, I'm going to delete this one here. And instead I'm going to click templates. And then I'm just going to click on the up arrow here and it inserts it. Do you see the way it inserted it? Can you guys see what I did? I click on the next one and then I just insert it like that. You see that? And so one person at a time, I'm going to be messaging. But what I like to do is I like to scroll up and look at the conversation that I had with the person to see the context of our relationship. That's why I love doing this manually instead of having AI do it. There is an AI that will automatically send all birthday messages every day to people, but that doesn't give you the opportunity to build a real relationship. That doesn't give you the opportunity to read the context of the relationship and identify what's going on. I saw you on the AI prompt training for social selling with Bryn Tillman, whom I adore, and I loved what you shared with us. Would love to connect and follow you for sure. She pays for LinkedIn. She's a qualified lead for me because she helps employers find top talent. She's an ideal client for me. So I want to go deeper with her. It's her birthday. She has 3,000 followers. I have all of her information here. I can email her. I can text her. I can call her. Do you see that? Her phone number's right here. Can you see? So what I'm going to do is I'm going to save her profile into Evie AI, and then I'm going to push her into GHL, and then I'm going to call her. And the way that I'm going to do that Is very simple. I'm going to make her a prospect right here. I'm going to hit save profile. Once it saves into Evy AI, takes all her information, saves it into Evy AI. I'm going to take her email from right over here. You see her email's front and center. I'll pop it in here, press save. I'll take her phone number from right here. I'll pop it in here. I'll press save. Then I'll drop it into GHL by clicking on that button, and then I simply call her. I go into GHL, I click on the phone, and I hit dial. And do you see all her information was stored already in here? Can you see it says Evie AI sent it?
This is Lisa Verzella with Monarch Staffing. I'm sorry I missed your call, but please leave a message And the best number to reach you, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Make it a great day.
Hi, Lisa, it's Joe Apfelbaum, one of your favorite, favorite, favorite LinkedIn connections. I wanted to just take a moment to wish you a very, very happy birthday. May this year be the best year ever, and give me a call when you get a chance. 973-841-8868. I hope you're eating a ton of cake today. I'll talk to you soon. 973-841-8868. Looking forward to chatting. Now I'm going to go ahead and save that here, her LinkedIn URL, and I'm going to text her and I'm going to say, happy birthday. Okay, I'm going to press send and I'm going to send her a text message that says happy birthday. Do you guys see what I did? I took it a step further. I took it one step further. Direct message. Text message, voicemail, calling. I can also email her. Same thing what I just did. I can email her. I can drop a message that says happy birthday and send her an email. That's the next level that most people are not going to take. They'll just send the DM and run away. But if you go deep with someone and really get to know them, It's a real relationship. It's not. I'm not trying to do fly by night with her. I know where I found her already. Do you get what I'm saying? I already know where I found her. Okay, here's here's some more. Sam Rathling, she said she gave her fuel framework: the F, which is find; the U, which is understand; the E, which is engage; and the L, which is leads. Remember, every lead is a real human. Invite 200 ICP match connections per week. Prospect manually, never automate, she says. She says, checks out your social selling index. I'm going to show you Sales Navigator because I promised I would. If you go into Sales Navigator by clicking on Sales Nav, and then you click on, see over here where it says Lead Filters on top? See, it says recently viewed your profile. I love this. And then I can do second-degree connections. So these are the second-degree connections that recently viewed my profile. And then I'm going to say that recently posted on LinkedIn. I have 921 people that are not yet connected to me, but that recently viewed my profile. And then I can select by a certain job title or I can select geography. I'm going to type in United States, 556 people, 568 people. Do you guys see that? I could message every single one of these people and say, I was notified that you looked at my profile recently and I'd love to connect with you, learn more about you. Was there something special that you needed? You see that? I could even add additional value to them by giving them something specific related to their profile. I'm not even connected to these people. And here's the hack. If I send her a message and it says free, I can send 800 of these per month. I'll say that again. Sales Navigator requires credits. But if you learn the hack that we teach inside the Sales Nav Bootcamp, you can send 800 messages to people that you're not connected to every single month on Sales Navigator. And I just showed you 568 people I'm not connected to that visited my profile that I can easily message. Do you get what I'm saying? So learning how to use these tools is extremely powerful. Now, just because you message somebody doesn't mean they're going to want to get on the phone with you or they're going to reply to you. But if they recently posted on LinkedIn, you can take the approach, which is the 5-prong approach, which is commenting, messaging, DMing, texting, emailing. Do you get it? All of it. You attack them using a 5-prong approach and you build a relationship. I shared a demo of Evvy AI. I talked about the 99 LinkedIn hacks. I talked about my newsletter automation. I talked about cross-platform research using AI. And I talked about my AEO strategy where I published to X and I showed you guys how I publish a newsletter. I love hack number 44. Do you guys know hack number 44? Is the Calendly hack. I book a meeting with someone's Calendly. I talked about the birthday hack, the greeting, feeding, and meeting system. Does anybody have any questions about anything I shared so far? Is anybody stuck with anything? Go ahead, Troy.
Yeah, I was curious on, um, your GoHighLevel setup.
It seems like you have a very efficient system, and I was curious on how long would it take someone that doesn't have any kind of CRM to set up their GoHighLevel up properly? About 5 hours.
Oh, it's not bad.
It's not bad at all. So within 5 hours, we have something called office hours. And then we have something called tech support. With our tech support, we'll sit with you for 5 hours and set it up perfectly. We'll set up your SMTP server. We'll set up your pipelines. We'll set up your dialer if you want a dialer. We'll help you import your leads, all your LinkedIn connections, people's cell phone numbers, whatever. We'll help you do all the things you need to do. We'll connect your social accounts to it so you can automatically start posting via GHL. 5 hours. That's all it takes. Now it does take 5 hours. It's not 1 second because you're gonna have to like get your username and password. That's an hour. You know what I mean? Things take time, but 5 hours.
What's the charge for that?
It's $1,000. Okay. But check this out. Um, I'll, I'll show you the landing page for that. strategy.vai.com/techsupport. Here's the— here it is. Get your tech stack working. We'll spend 5 hours with you, get the whole thing rolling. Okay, I just sent you guys the link, but do you see I made this landing page? This landing page is hosted within GoHighLevel. You see? And if anybody needs access to GoHighLevel and you don't already have it, we actually have— we had, I don't know if it still works, But we had six months of GoHighLevel. If you're a new customer and you never use GoHighLevel with us, we actually have six months of GoHighLevel. I'll put it in the chat for you guys because you're here. I think Michael may have changed it to six dollars a month for six months, but I I told him just to make it free. But he's like, "Oh, if we make it free, people are not going to want to pay later." Blah blah blah. I was like, "Dude, whatever. Six dollars? Who cares?" But anyway. Click on that link. It's either $6 a month or it's free for 6 months and you'll get access to GoHighLevel. And if you need tech support, you can get access right there. After that, we charge $250 a month with support. If you buy directly from GHL, the unlimited version is $297 a month. We charge $250 a month, but we hold your hand. We give you unlimited email support. And then a couple times a week we'll meet you in group settings to help you. John says the support has been awesome. Yeah. And by the way, if you're not using GHL the way that I'm using it, I highly recommend you learning how to use it. You can attach additional dialers. Like for example, this is the Wave dialer here. I'm just going to log in, hello@hevyai.com. I'm going to get my verification code. Let me log into— let me log into Hello real quick from here because there might be some secret things going on there. Let me see if it came in. Here we go. Log into your account. Okay, I'm going to log in. So this is my dashboard. So let's say, for example, I go to my opportunities tab here. You see this? Can you guys see my opportunities tab? This is one of my pipelines. This is one of my pipelines. I have 5,135 people that want to talk to me. They reached, they raised their hand. So I'm going to press call. Use the dialer here? Yeah, use it here. I'm gonna press call. It's connecting. It's pulling information. Press dial. Now it's calling 3 people at a time. Do you guys see that? As soon as somebody picks up—
Connected to a live agent. Please press 1 now.
As soon as somebody picks up, it shows me their email address, phone number, the name that they put in, where the lead came from. Hi, Steve.
May I know who is speaking, please?
Hi, Steve. The reason I'm calling is because you requested some information today about 6 hours ago about getting some LinkedIn training. Were you looking for new clients or were you looking for a job? Which one, Steve?
I'm looking for a job.
A job. What type of job are you looking for, Steve?
I am equipment mechanic.
Oh, you're an equipment mechanic. Amazing. I'd love to invite you to come to our office hours where we teach people how to use LinkedIn to find a job. Would you like to come today at 7 PM or is tomorrow at 12 better?
Um, where exactly is your office?
I'm in New Jersey, but we're meeting on Zoom. You don't have to come to New Jersey. Where are you based?
Oh, I'm in Delaware.
You're in Delaware. Okay. Well, that's not far from New Jersey, but that means you're in Eastern Standard Time. Do you want to come today at 7? And we can help you learn how to use LinkedIn. You can see how we use our tool to help you find a job and an opportunity. Would you be interested?
Oh, I'm interested, but I can't make it. It's a long time to a long—
7 PM is a long time? No, no, I'm not telling you to long commute. We're just going to teach you how to use LinkedIn. Okay.
We can teach online?
Yeah, we can teach online on Zoom. You know what? I'll send you some information. If you can make it, you can make it. How about that?
Okay, that's correct.
All right, thank you so much. Thank you so much, Steve. We'll talk soon. Have a good day. Bye. Okay, he's interested. I'm gonna press next. Now, is this a qualified lead? He's a job seeker, you know what I mean? He's not the most qualified for me, but I want to help him out. So I'm gonna go ahead and update the list, say he's a job seeker, and we'll send him information a little bit later. I want to keep calling. I just press call again. Do you guys see what I'm doing? I'm just calling and calling and calling. And maybe the next person that picks up is going to want clients or something like that. So for me, I could just keep calling over and over and over. I have to run, but I love this. Let's talk tomorrow or later tonight. I have a great idea for you, Rick said. Thank you, Rick. Okay, let's see who else. Um, Jane said amazing.
A box for Jennifer Noble. I am a—
And then I could just keep calling and calling and calling and calling, and it won't stop calling till it goes through all 5,000 people. Do you get it? Because 5,000 people reached out, they said they're interested. And if they don't pick up, it also goes, it drops a voicemail in their voicemail with my voice, which is also really, really nice to get the voicemail going. And it calls 3 people at this version of the software, calls 3 people at a time. John said dialing for dollars. I actually really enjoy having conversations with people and talking to them. On LinkedIn, the trust is already here. Over here, they're like, who is this? What do you want? Right? So you have to know what to say, but once you know what to say and you know how to handle a conversation, you see over here, I just dropped a voicemail for this person here, for Jenny. Troy says, does the 250 include all the bits of the calls and emails? It doesn't. Hi, Dan.
Hi.
Hi. The reason I'm calling is because yesterday you requested some information about our LinkedIn training. Were you looking for clients, Dan?
No, I'm not looking for—
Oh, you were— you looking for a job? You're in Montreal, right?
Yeah.
Okay. Are you looking for a job?
No, I was Just scrolling down on LinkedIn.
Oh, you're just scrolling down. Do you currently have a LinkedIn account?
Yeah.
Oh, very nice. Are you like posting regularly and getting everything that you want out of it? Or do you want to learn how to like post and get exposure and get all that type of stuff?
I mean, soon I'll be doing it, but—
I get it.
I'm not doing it right now.
You're not doing it yet. Well, if you want, we built an artificial intelligence technology that will post, engage, and message with you. And it's really, really affordable and really powerful. Plus we teach you how to use LinkedIn properly to be able to get more awareness because I know that the mission of AthleteX is to increase the awareness of athletes and coaches regarding their sports personality. Am I right?
Kind of.
Kind of? You're not 100%?
Kind of. That's not exactly what it is.
Okay, it's not exactly what it is, but it does say that on your LinkedIn profile, so.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, no, I totally get it. So what I can do is I can even help you sharpen your LinkedIn profile because you're a Canadian sports entrepreneur and leadership coach, right? That's what you do.
Yeah.
And you have 2 decades of experience in the sports industry, in entrepreneurship and in coaching, right?
Yeah.
All right. So as the founder and chief visionary officer of your company, and being that you are described as a cutting-edge sports technology company, being on LinkedIn can really, really help you significantly. So here's what I would like to do. I would like to schedule a 30-minute conversation with you and someone on my team so that we can show you the step-by-step process for you to use LinkedIn. There's no pressure to buy anything, but if you do like what we have to offer, maybe you would be interested. Would you like me to send you an email to the email address that you sent us and we can schedule something for tomorrow, say at 2:00 PM Eastern?
No, actually tomorrow I'll be on the road.
I'll be on the road for the next Oh, amazing. So Friday might make sense for you then. Is that right?
Yeah, Friday makes sense.
Let's try it. Okay. So let's do Friday at 12:30 PM Eastern. We'll send you a calendar invite and my team will be sitting there waiting to speak to you.
All right.
All right. All right. Thank you so much. God bless you. We'll talk again soon. By the way, can I ask you a quick question, Dan?
Yeah.
What's your favorite pizza topping?
What? Pizza topping?
Yeah. Yeah. Because I know in Montreal people are like weird about pizza.
First time I hear that.
I'm telling you, I am. Yeah, go ahead. What's your favorite pizza topping?
A regular all dressed.
Regular all dressed. Love that. All right, I'll keep that in mind. I'll let my team know. Thank you, my man. I appreciate you. We'll talk soon. Bye. Guys, you can see that I have a good time doing this, right? You can see that I have a really, really good time doing this because I really love to help people and connect people, connect with people and build a relationship. I'm not just about dialing for dollars. I'm connecting with people and building a real relationship with them. If I didn't have the Evvy AI AI research and I only relied on his LinkedIn, I would be completely off base. Do you see the way he changed? The way he spoke to me from when I just read off his LinkedIn, he said, you're totally off. But when I read off the AI, he said I was spot on and I had what to say. I was fumbling when I was using LinkedIn, but when I used the AI research that Evy AI provided to me, it was a game changer and we built a deep relationship and now we booked a meeting for 12:30 on Friday.
Joe, do you have a preference as to which of the 5 you use?
I'd like to use the fast one, especially if I'm on a call called Perplexity. If I want to go deeper, I will use Grok. But did you notice the way Perplexity also provided me with his cell phone and email address right then and there? And I took that and put it into Evie AI. I already had it because when he submitted the form requesting LinkedIn training, he already gave me his information. But if I didn't have his information, the AI research would've provided all that information for me. Dr. Sally said she has to go. Good. By the way, was this super valuable to you guys? We can keep going. There's more to, there's more to talk about, but I want to respect everybody's time and we can do this again in the future. I carved out some time for us to connect, but I want to make sure that you guys are getting real value. Brett said super valuable. People want to build relationships. They want to be on the phone with you. They want to talk to you. I want you to have that belief in your head installed. Because most of us are so afraid of selling that we end up not connecting. It's never about selling. It's about serving. And when you get on the phone with someone who's a prospective client, your goal is not to close them. Your goal is to connect with them. If there's an opportunity to turn them into a client, you have a responsibility to make an offer. But if the need is not there, They're not qualified and you're not sure how to prospect properly, then it's going to be hard for you. Or if you have insecurities about yourself, it's going to be hard for you to do this type of stuff. So learning how to optimize your beliefs that you have value, that your products have value, that you want to connect with people, that you truly genuinely want to connect with people, and not that you're just trying to sell something, is extremely powerful. We're always selling things. I sold him what? I sold him an appointment for Friday. Do you get what I'm saying? And he bought it. He bought the appointment for Friday. I tried to sell him an appointment for tomorrow, but he wasn't available tomorrow. So we negotiated and I sold him an appointment for Friday. I can keep dialing right now and I will get every few minutes another person on the phone to speak to. And most of the time when I get on the phone, if the person has a need, It's very likely that they're going to book a meeting. And if I want to book 10, 15, 20 meetings, 30 meetings in a day, I have the ability to do that. I have an unlimited amount of meetings that I can book in a day. Now there's a limited amount of meetings that I can take. Do you get what I'm saying? I can't take all the meetings that I could book, but I can book as many meetings as people will pick up the phone. And if you have the right technology, it'll work. The $250, Troy, doesn't include that specific version of the dialer. That version of the dialer that comes with unlimited calls and can do 3 calls in every 30 seconds costs an extra $150. Just, that's cost price to the company Wave. Do you get it? That's what they charge, not what we— there's no upcharge on it. That's just unlimited calls. And they give you a bunch of numbers and they also verify your numbers in a way that it doesn't show up as spam. They do a bunch of stuff. It includes all that stuff. It's really powerful. Okay. You don't need dialers to pick up the phone and call people. You can call people that you're already connected to on LinkedIn that you have a relationship with. When I call my mother, she doesn't think I'm trying to sell her something. When I call my friends, they don't think I'm trying to sell something to them. When I call people that I've taken selfies with, they don't think I'm trying to sell them something. But if there's an opportunity for them to buy something, the likelihood of them buying is very high because the trust is very high already. Do you know what I mean? That's the idea. Okay. It looks like Deb's in the waiting room. I'm going to— I tried to let her in, but she looks like she left. Okay. All right. Any questions that anybody has? Questions, comments? Should we continue going through some of the other influencers? We could do that. Rhonda. Rhonda says profile views to book systems. We talked about that. The face reading app, her 5 daily, 5-part daily playbook. Check who viewed your profile. We covered all this stuff already. He said slow dating for business. Troy built his entire LinkedIn strategy on slow dating. The same principle of patience, listening, and genuine value delivery that works for relationships and B2B sales. When you help someone, whether paid or not, one of the 3 things happens. They don't speak badly about you, they hire you, or they become a referral advocate. Those are the 3 things he said. Referrals are 10x more powerful than self-promotion. Agree. Okay. We have to go. Howard said, great content again. Okay. So we're almost done. What was the thing that stood out the most that you're going to implement? Let's talk about implementation now for the next few minutes before we wrap up. Let's talk about implementation. What is the one thing that you're going to start doing more of now that we did this recap and you guys got this value? What's the one thing you're going to do more of? Thank you for sharing your time, resource, and calm conviction. Going to head out now and review LinkedIn Live. Um, since I had to miss the last hour, this is great. Your approach is so human, crazy efficient. Thank you. Anything else anybody has? Any other comments, concerns, questions? Top stories. Ooh, should we talk about the top stories? Should we talk about the news? We didn't cover that, did we? We didn't cover that. Let's talk about the news real quick. Thank you, Joe. Karen said, answer the top 3 questions. Yes. Answer the top 3 questions. By the way, features tell, stories sell, in case you guys are wondering. Features tell stories sell. I love telling stories. All right, let me show you something crazy. Let me show you something cray-cray. So if you go to LinkedIn's homepage, let me go to LinkedIn's homepage real quick. You see all these top news stories up here? You see them? So the first influencer, Joshua, said that if you grab these stories, I'm gonna go ahead and grab them. Not this. I'm going to click on this, extract news, download TXT file. So I have all the news here, and then I'm going to go into the Evie AI community. I'm going to go into the Evie AI community. I'm going to go to school.com/EvieAI, and I'm going to type in news extractor. The new extractor works fine. News prompt. Here's a prompt I use for the image. Oh, Newsjacking. That's what I called it. Newsjacking. Very, very classy.
Okay.
It's a very classy name. All right. You are an expert LinkedIn content strategist for AEO. Your job is to help me dominate LinkedIn trending conversations by creating content that positions me as the authority of the voice on AI. Pick the, pick the right 3 stories. Step 2 is create the post using the 3-2-1 format. And then step 3 is rank the 3 posts, write the post and rank the posts. Consider this news. You guys ready for this? Okay. I'm going to use Claude for this. I'm going to drop in the text file I grabbed from LinkedIn using my custom Chrome extension and watch what it does. It's going to look through these.
Where do you get the custom Chrome extension?
Uh, inside the community under the classroom. If you go to the classroom here and you click on beta LinkedIn extensions and you click on news, LinkedIn news extractor.
Okay.
And then on the bottom left, you see it says news extractor. You download that and then you install it. Okay. Check this out. Step 1, top 3 stories. Step 2, the posts. It wrote the posts, you see? So this is one economist. Okay, AI didn't move the economy in 2012. So I'm gonna copy this right here. I'm gonna go to LinkedIn. I'm gonna show you how quickly I'm gonna post this now, 'cause I want this to trend. So I'm gonna post this here. Oh, I, I copied the wrong thing. I copied the wrong thing. I'm going to right-click on— oh, I copied too many things. Control C, control V. Okay. AI didn't move the economy. Economists said it out loud. After the hype, the headlines, billions invested, AI's measurable GDP impact, quote, basically zero. Here's the truth. Most companies bought the tool but skipped the transformation. They automated the tasks. They didn't redesign the way they grow and sell. Businesses are winning with AI aren't using it more. They're using it smarter, embedding it into relationships or revenue, not just replacing a few hours, but busy work. If AI hasn't moved your revenue yet, it's not an AI problem, you have a strategy problem. Oof, oof. What's one way that AI really moved the needle? Drop in, I'm building real answers to this question. Okay, that's good. So I'm going to go ahead and grab an image of myself. I'm going to use an image from here. You see one of these images? I'm gonna use this one here with me sitting down. Do you see it? And I'm gonna press post. I just posted this newsjacking article. AI didn't move the economy. Economist said it out loud.
All that.
Okay, so now I can send you guys this. I'm gonna press copy. I'm gonna Drop this for you guys to check out. If you guys want to engage with it, engage with it. It doesn't matter if you do or don't; it's still going to get a thousand views. But if you do engage with it, you're going to get more exposure as well. How long did it take me to do that process to get a post that's news jacking worthy?
One minute. Seconds.
Seconds. I downloaded the news. Dropped it in with my prompt. I got the prompt from the school community. I also have the prompt saved as a template, but I wanted to show you where you can get the prompt. Do you get it? If I, if I, I also have a persona inside Evie AI that allows me to create a viral news thing with my voice. So that's also available. Come to office hours. We'll help you do all that stuff. Hello, Joe. I have a question that I know the people in your office hours, as equipped as they are, will not be as equipped as you are to answer this. And it's a little off topic, but I'm gonna bring it up anyway. So you know how we can download our entire profile and you guys do the dashboard and all that stuff, right?
Yeah.
So the other day, I downloaded my profile and And there is a section called inference. And I looked and LinkedIn infers that I am somebody completely different. And I looked at my past profiles that I downloaded and they all say the same thing. They think I work in HR, which is strange to me because it clearly says Chef Kelly. But does this really affect how they're viewing me and my reach and where I'm being profiled? Either way, how do I contact LinkedIn to say, can you please change this?
Um, okay, so let me go to look at your profile. Chef Kelly. Let me search Chef Kelly, see what comes up. Um, people.
It would be Kelly Anderson. I don't put chef on my name on my profile.
Maybe I should.
Okay.
Is this you?
Yep, that's me.
Okay. So where does it say that you're— where does it say that you're in HR?
In, you know, when you get all of your data downloaded and sends it to you, that's where it says it. It's in that, it's in that big file. There's a file that they send.
Okay. Usually that data has to do with what you put in here somewhere. I don't know where, you know, you, you have settings. You have to go to your own settings. Maybe it's your industry that you put in, but you definitely could reach out to support. John Keel shared where support is. It's under help. It's under contact us under LinkedIn help. So I think if you go here and you click on get help with LinkedIn, there's a— let me see where that is. LinkedIn.com/support. Contact LinkedIn support.
Cool.
You definitely can contact them. I don't, I don't know exactly where. If you send me where it is in your download, if you want to email me where it is, I'm happy to look at it with you. But it's very, very specific. Yeah. Okay, cool. Thank you.
Thank you.
Okay. Anybody else have any questions, comments, concerns, anything you want to share? I'm more than happy to answer any questions that you have. Look at that. Mark just shared a post in Sales Navigator, pulled up the alert. I'm going to go ahead and like and comment on his post. The biggest thing you can do to close deals is to have a really good offer to a really good target market. And we did a whole class called the Offer Lab, teaching people how to build their offers. If you want to see it, go to my previous videos on YouTube or my previous videos on LinkedIn Live. And you'll see that I, we did a whole, I think it was an hour, right? I don't know. I think it was about an hour or maybe an hour and a half of us doing the Offer Lab. So that was a very powerful video. But anyway, if you guys need more information or you want to join the Bundle Plus, we do these trainings all the time. So you can go to thebundleplus.com. And if you want to join our prospecting bootcamp that's happening next month, you go to evai.com/prospecting. We're already sold out, but you can apply for the next one. And we will be in touch.
