Live Cold Calling with Joe Apfelbaum - using evyAI.com Live Prospecting

In this live YouTube demo, sales expert Joe Apfelbaum showcases evyAI.com’s automated cold‑calling workflow. He loads 550 phone numbers, initiates calls, and uses the platform to comment on prospects’ LinkedIn activity, change opportunity statuses, and track qualifications. The demo features real‑time conversations with prospects named Ryan, Ash, and Colleen. Joe repeatedly pitches a discounted "99 LinkedIn Hacks" product (originally $1,000, now $99 with a coupon code), offers a live webinar on LinkedIn strategies, and discusses AI‑generated LinkedIn content. He handles objections, asks qualifying questions about business ownership versus job seeking, and provides networking advice for job seekers, illustrating how to build relationships and leverage introductions. Throughout, he demonstrates the efficiency of automated dialing versus manual outreach and highlights the value of AI tools for LinkedIn engagement.

Yes, I am. I'm working my magic. Watch this. I'm going to click here, up arrow here, and boom, I just commented on Nelson's thing. Let me quickly look at Nelson's posts. And I commented on it. That's amazing. I'm going to go ahead and make some calls. I'm going to load 550 phone numbers now. And let's listen in. Let's listen in. Let's listen in as I dial away. All right, we're calling. It's 8:50 in the morning. It's 8-5-0 in the morning. We are already dialing. We're smiling and dialing. Hey, Ash.
Hey, how are you?
This is Joe Apfelbaum. I'm doing well. I got notified that you were interested in our 99 LinkedIn Hacks. Am I right about that?
I was. I can't talk right now. I'm actually just on my way to a meeting. I got your email too, so let me respond back to that.
Okay, cool.
And then we'll run from there. Okay, thanks, man.
Thank you, Ash. All right, that was Ash. I'm gonna also change his opportunity status from new lead to contact made qualification, meaning I'm qualifying him. He's a real person 'cause he picked up his phone. And I'm gonna press resume. I'm gonna keep calling now. Now while it's calling, I can put on some music we could listen to about calling.
This is Ryan.
Hi Ryan, this is Joe Apfelbaum. How are you?
I'm sorry, who's this?
This is Joe. I got notified that you Asked for information about our 99 LinkedIn hacks. Ryan, did you fill out a form related to that looking for our videos?
I did, yeah. No, I'm driving right now.
Okay.
Yeah, so yeah, it's like $1,000, something like that. We can—
It's actually discounted now at 90% off. It's only $99, Ryan. Did you not get the coupon code?
No.
Okay, I can send you the direct coupon code to get it for all 99 hacks. They're all under a minute each and they're really impressive hacks. And I can send you the coupon code for Uh, for $99. Would you like that?
Please.
Okay, where are you headed today?
Uh, New Jersey. Where are you?
I'm in New Jersey as well, believe it or not. Yeah, I'm in Jersey. Are you coming from like— what, are you coming from Pennsylvania?
We are, yeah.
Oh, very nice, very nice. I sent you the, um, the link with the, with the coupon code so that you have it when you stop driving. Obviously don't do it while you're driving.
Yeah.
Do you have a business or are you, um, are you looking for a job?
No, I have a business.
Nice. Yeah, we help business owners be able to leverage LinkedIn more effectively. We actually have an AI that will write your posts and create your comments and generate images for you and so on. And we're doing a class about it on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. If you want, I can send you the details to join the class if you're up for it. Would you want to join a class live with me?
I would, but Tuesday doesn't work. There's next Tuesday, actually next Tuesday I'm out too.
Okay, well, I'll keep you updated. I mean, check out the 99 Hacks. I'd love to know what you think about it when you do.
And let's be in touch, okay?
You got it. Got it. Thanks a lot.
Thank you. Safe drive. Bye. All right. He was interested. He just thought it was $1,000. Now I'm going to go ahead and change the opportunity here, Brian, and I'm going to make it that he was interested in paying $99 just like that. I'm going to hit resume. Now, if I had to dial every single one of these 500 numbers manually, forget it. I would never do it. Hello, this is Joe Apfelbaum. I got notified, Colleen, that you were interested in the 99 LinkedIn Hacks. On September 27th. Did I get that wrong? Or I'm not sure if I even got it right. Were you interested in learning how to leverage LinkedIn, Colleen?
Uh, yeah, I am interested in that.
Oh, wonderful. Wonderful. Do you have a business or are you looking for a job? What's your jam?
I'm looking for a job.
Oh, fantastic. Fantastic. I was actually thinking about this because a lot of people that want to get hired, what they need to do is they need to network better. Am I right about that? Like, do you agree with that?
Well, I mean, I would have prior to seeing a study I saw last week that indicated that it's not as effective. Quite as effective as, uh, as just applying on job boards, which is backed by real research. And my experience is that I've gotten a lot more, uh, interviews from just applying on job boards than I have from trying to reach out and network my way into, you know, an interview.
Okay. I hear you.
Yeah.
And I don't mean networking your way into an interview, but what do you mean then? What I, what I mean is, let's say for example, I gave you a list of 150 people that are willing to have a conversation with you over the course of any amount of time that you want and build a real relationship and become like a friend to you, like a relationship that networks with you. And then you look into your network to help them, they look into their network to help you, and they say that 80% of introductions turn into meetings. So if you're looking for an opportunity, I know this worked for me and it works for my clients, and it's just, it's a concept called networking that a lot of people don't really do. I'm not talking about like forcing your way into an interview by messaging the recruiting manager and blah, that doesn't work because they get inundated and they get annoyed. I'm talking about getting an introduction from a friend, like what type of position are you looking for now?
Uh, I'm looking for a director or above level procurement role.
Okay. So you're looking for a director above level in procurement role, and who would you need to speak to in like an organization? Like what type of— is there a specific industry or?
No. I mean, my skills are transferable.
Okay.
I've worked in CPG and aerospace. You know, the jobs that I've had have been, they're really, uh, you know, I would say industry agnostic.
Yeah.
There's not really, you know, like I said, The skills are the skills and you can take those anywhere.
Yeah, the skills are the skills and you can take them anywhere. And the best way to get an introduction is via building a relationship with someone and then them looking into their network and seeing, because everybody knows 100, 200, 300 people in their life. And you can say, you know what, I know a CFO at a company that might need somebody for procurement. They are a $40 million business, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. There's an opportunity. And also like optimizing your LinkedIn profile, making sure that you're posting content regularly. I think those things can help a lot. Are you doing those things at all or not? Not really.
I'm doing some.
Okay.
I'm doing some. I mean, I've been talking to several career coaches and different people. The problem I see with it is that everybody has a different answer, right?
Yeah. Yeah.
So if there's one way to do this—
Well, there isn't. There isn't one way. There's so many ways to skin the cat. There's so many different ways to like dance. There's so many different ways to get clients if you're looking for clients. So everyone has their way that worked for them. If you're curious to see me in action, I can send you a link to my next class, which is Tuesday at 1 PM, and you can check it out.
You can come for free.
Check it out, network, build relationships. And if it's something you want to learn more about, you know, you— I'm happy to set up a call with you and show you my computer screen and show you what I do.
Okay, yeah, that'd be great. That'd be great. I'd love to do that tomorrow.
Okay, so I just sent you the link to register for the webinar. It's Tuesday at 1 PM Eastern, tomorrow at 1 PM. Check it out. I don't know if you got the text message, but check out your text and you'll see it there.
Did you text it to me?
Yeah, I just, I just sent it to you via text message.
I got it right here.
Okay, cool. And if you want, you can also send me your LinkedIn URL so I can check it out. I'm not sure. I didn't get your LinkedIn URL when you submitted the form. You just gave me your cell, your email, and your name.
Okay.
So send me your LinkedIn URL so I can check. I sent you mine so you can look at my LinkedIn URL.
Send me— you want me to send it on email?
You can send it through text. You can reply with your LinkedIn URL through text.
That's fine.
And then I'll check it out and let you know what I think. Maybe I'll give you a suggestion or two of what I think you can improve there. And if you want those 99 LinkedIn hacks, I could give you a special deal. It's usually $1,000, but I can give it to you for $99 if you're interested. I don't know if you're interested in all 99 hacks. They're 1 minute each. But if you're interested in that, I can, you know, let me know and I'll send you the deal for $99.
Okay. All right. I'll let you know.
All right. Thank you, Colleen. Great chatting with you. We'll be in touch. All right.
