So I've been asked to review some LinkedIn profiles. I'm gonna review these profiles now.
Let's go. Zero to hero, thanks to the squad. On the road to clients, inspired by the wire.
All right, so let's talk about these profiles over here. We're gonna do them one at a time. So John, your profile has— is completely non-existent. There's nothing here, so there's literally nothing to talk about here. You have no followers, you have no background banner, you have no photo, you literally have nothing going on over here. So I'm just gonna close I'm going to close your profile here, John. Okay, William, you're missing your background banner, so go fix your background banner. You do have 3,000 followers, which is great, but I would say for you, that would be the number one thing you could improve on your profile right now is your background banner. And also, your About section could have 2,600 characters. It does not have 2,600 characters. Your company page is missing a logo, so it's not really connected to your company page. All of these are actually missing logos. So I would kind of clean that up. And there's a lot more that you can do on your profile here. For example, you have one recommendation from 2020. I recommend at least 3 recommendations, getting more endorsements. There's a lot that you can do, William. Also, your last name is just G here. I don't recommend putting your privacy settings that high where no one can find you if they're searching for you on Google or anywhere else. You want people to find your profile. So fix that instead of just being William G, like actually have your last name. Okay, William, let's go to the next one.
Sharita.
Here's the problem: you don't have any posts. That's a big problem. Yeah, your banner is okay. Your headline is not bad. You don't have enough followers. The average CEO on LinkedIn has 930 connections. You have 780. So I would definitely increase the amount of followers that you have there. Your About section doesn't have call to action. It could have 2,600 characters. I would totally fix that. You want to have some activity over here, some posts, some comments, some documents, some videos, and so on. Your experience is cool. You can do more, you can do better here. You know, you could tell a story. This is missing the company page here. I would remove the things that are just not good. And also your education can have a blurb. Your skills don't really have much endorsements. And the last recommendation you got was 2011. You gotta get more recommendations going. Let's go.
Joe Apfelbaum's on my baggy. LinkedIn profile on the track.
Okay, Steven.
Headline catching eyes.
I love your background banner. Love your photo, very nice. You have the opportunity to have more followers. You only have 232 followers. Yeah, you gotta get over 1,000. You know, like you gotta get more followers. Also, you put your URL here. You can actually make this into an actual link, a call to action link, and you can put it right under your, around your followers. You can add a link there. Your About section is very nice, you see, but you don't have call to action here. You're not telling people what to do. And you have posts, comments, and images, but you don't have videos, you don't have articles, you don't have documents, you don't have events. You know, there's a lot that you're missing here. So I definitely would recommend doing that. Your experience is okay, you just don't have any paragraph of information. Also, you're missing a company page here, so I would add one with a logo. It's great that you're kind of telling a story here. You see you're doing it very nicely. And then you have licenses, skills, but no recommendations. You have no social proof. It's pretty easy to add recommendations.
Joe Apfelbaum's got my back. LinkedIn profile on the track. Perfect incline catching ice. Coming soaring to the skies. The bi-section telling tales.
All right, so let's look at Moshe. Moshe, this is good. Your words here are kind of cut out by your head. You can actually move these a little more to the left so it's not cut. Also, you can add your call to action. I know you have a nice website. You can add it under where it says Israel. You can add your website. Also, the way your name is over here, I would kind of fix this up if possible. Like, it's too much. It's too big, too much going on over there. And your logo is not here. You need to add a company page. It's really easy to add a company page. You just click For Business on top here, and then you scroll down, you click Create a Company Page right here. Okay, scroll over here, About section. As founder of Apex, I specialize in delivering cutting-edge websites. No call to action here. And also you can break this into little sections. If you use Evy AI, it'll kind of do it for you. Love that you have Posts, but again, you don't have articles, you don't have images, you don't have documents, events, newsletter. There's so much that you can add over here under activity that you don't have. Again, your experience is missing that. You're not really telling a story here. You have a couple of bullet points, but I would kind of tell a story if possible. And licenses, certifications, that's good. Volunteering skills, and you got a recommendation, 2021. I would get more recent recommendations if possible. You haven't gotten them in a while and that's cool. Okay, other than that, your profile's pretty good. It's not bad. Couple things that you can change to really take it to the next level, especially the little touch over here to move this to the right. I would also add a voice note next to your verified sign. You can add a voice note from your mobile phone when you go to edit your name. And I would also add a pronoun, but instead of putting your he or she, I would put your keyword in your pronoun. You can choose custom pronoun for that. Okay, Tom, Tom, your headline's cool. I love that you're a maker. It says freelancer here. You gotta create a company page. Like, guys, get this in order. Get your company pages up and running. Your headline just says freelance project manager, but it doesn't say who you help and how you help them. That's kind of how I would change this. Your about section is okay. Again, no call to action. You're not telling people how to contact you or what to do. That's a problem. Your featured posts, and by the way, you guys should have featured posts, but actually have posts there. Don't just randomly put a PDF. Embed your PDF in a post, get engagement, and put it on there. Your activity's missing all the other stuff I mentioned earlier. Your experience is missing a company page here. I love that you work for the Microsoft Store. That's cool. And then your education is missing blurbs. It's missing logos. I see that you have endorsements and you got a recommendation recently. Not bad, but I would get one in 2024 'cause the last one that you got was a year ago. So I definitely get some more recommendations and, you know, of course you can use the pronoun thing, you can verify your account. There's a lot that you can do here. All right, moving on to the next person. You also have your banner cut off by your image, so I would totally fix that banner up over here. I would add a little voice note. I would add a little keyword here. I would add your call to action, your call to action inside your about section as well, and break it up into little parts. Your services page really sucks. There's nothing here. I'll show you what my services page looks in a minute, but you need to have a better services page. Featured is good, but you put a YouTube video here. I would recommend a native video. And then I would recommend getting more engagement on your featured posts, like ask your friends to leave comments. Also, the type of posts that you have, you have posts and images, but you don't have videos, you don't have documents, you don't have events, articles. You can add all those here. Your experience is cool, I like it, just you're not telling a story. And again, remove the ones that are garbage that don't need to be here from God knows when. You can remove those, they're irrelevant. Your skills are cool, but you're not, you don't have any thumbs up on these skills and you haven't received recommendations since 2015. So get that in order. Okay, and Thomas, love your photo, love your background photo, love that you have your he/him here. I could change that to like a custom pronoun and put your keyword in there. I love that you have a link. You do not have enough connections. You need to double, triple your connections ASAP. Your headline needs work. You need to say who you help and how you help them. You could also have a little voice note next to your name where you introduce yourself. If you go to your about section, you'll see you're missing information. You could have up to 2,600 characters. You don't have a call to action. Also, you can have articles here and many other things that you're missing here. You don't have a featured section here. You don't have a services page. All that's missing from here. Your experience is cool, but again, you're not telling a story. You could have a lot more text here that really explains who you are, who you help, how you help them. Your education can have a story. Your volunteering, that's cool. It's missing an image. You don't have any skills endorsed and it's been a year since the last recommendation that you got. So I would definitely get a couple recommendations. So all in all, you guys are doing okay, but you definitely need help. Look at my profile. I have my first name, my last name, verification. I have a little voice note thing here. I have who I help, how I help them. I have a link to my ChatGPT for LinkedIn. I have my about section nicely organized here with different calls to action, testimonials, when I last optimized it. I have my services page. It has a video, it has an image, it has a description, it has reviews. I have my video that's featured with over 200 likes and comments. I have my networking one-sheet. I have my newsletter. I have posts, comments, videos, images, articles, newsletters, events, documents. You see that all organized nicely. My experience section really tells a story. If you go through each one, you'll see all the stories that I'm telling over here. Even here, believe it or not, Joe was afraid of public speaking, blah blah blah. If you go through this, you'll, you'll be able to see my skills. I have 50+ skills, and if you go through them, you're going to see how many endorsements I have. 99+ on almost all my skills in terms of the likes that I'm getting from people. And then if you take a look at my recommendations, I'm going to go back to my recommendations real quick just to kind of show you. You'll see the last recommendation I got was June 17th, 2024, which was just a few days ago, and I have 505 recommendations. So I am not saying that because I'm like, oh, I'm doing better than you. I'm just showing you what's possible if you want to take your profile to the next level. Well, I hope that you enjoyed this. I hope you got value from this, and I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback. And thank you for listening to this lovely music.
