🔥 How Do You Keep Your Cyber truck Cool Under the Scorching Heat?🌞

Joe Homs tests two Fortnoy sunshades for the Cybertruck: a roof shade and windshield shade that deploy from inside with a button. They cool the cabin noticeably but require removing the roof shade when rear passengers sit down, and stowing them back is difficult. Best for occasional use when parked in heat.

Welcome everybody back to my Cybertruck channel, and I got 2 things to check out from Fortnoy, and they're basically umbrellas for the inside of the Cybertruck. And we'll go ahead and get started opening the box here with one, and large box inside is a small box, and we've got instructions in here. This is the roof sunshade that we're gonna test out first. And basically, literally just like an umbrella. So, oh my gosh, this is awesome. It's got another, another cover for the umbrella, and it looks literally— I can't let go of it. It looks literally like an umbrella. So we'll take that off there and unravel that. And then I have to figure out like where— oh, there's a button right there. And I don't know if I'm gonna do— I guess I should just get in there and do this inside because if not it's gonna— so it's got a little button here as you can see. I'm sure if I press that it's gonna pop open. So let's— let me just get inside here and do it from the inside. I don't want to necessarily do it out here. So All right, we're here in the middle. As you can see, this is a pretty big window in here, and during the summer it really, really gets hot in here. Uh, this is, uh, winter months now, so it doesn't get as hot, and, and there is a covering on there so that it doesn't get hotter. But anyway, let me push this and see what happens. Oh, okay, it doesn't explode. I was, I was expecting I was expecting it to explode, but it didn't. Okay, then we put it up over the seats, lift it up. Okay, and now my question is How this is held on there. Yeah, I don't know if I have this incorrectly. Should be probably sitting on something to hold it up. So maybe if I turned it all the way around. Oh, I see it extends more. Looks like it extended a little bit more. Oh, here we go. There we go. Now it's sitting on the seat there. So there you go, it's covered up. The only problem I see is that obviously every time somebody has to come in and sit down back here, that it needs to be removed. So this would be something that you would have to like leave it on here if you didn't have any passengers in the back, or maybe store it. You have your car, you're storing it someplace for a while and you want to keep it cool inside. It definitely— I mean, I noticed just literally just sitting here right now and then covered up from the sun that It is very cool in here right now. So that's what that looks like. So anyways, okay, so let's see if we can put this back down. Yeah, it comes out really easily. Then just like any other umbrella, let me find the little tab. There it is. Oh, there it is. And you just wrap it around just like any other umbrella. Wrap it around tight, and, uh, and then there you go. And then we'll put it back in the little holster it came, came in. So this goes in here. Okay, so you don't have to wait. Let's go to the next box. Open up this box, and then this will be for the front windshield. Same thing, looks like, like an umbrella. It's like an umbrella. And we'll try that. It's pretty cool, obviously. I mean, this is, this is pretty ingenious stuff that they've got going here. So anyway, so we'll step in. It wants us to take these off here, move them to the side, and then again this kind of goes up. There we go. So let's see if I got this facing correctly. Probably not. Looks like it goes this way. There we go. Behind, behind the screen. And again, this is, this is the same. This is pretty much the same as the other one in the back there, so. It'll cover up the window, uh, keep it cool inside. I don't know that I would necessarily use this on a daily basis, more as if like I had the truck parked outside for a long period of time. At night I usually keep the truck in the garage, so it's not like I need to use it, but, um, it's, it's fun. Functional, it works, and you know it's it's easy to put on and take off. So let's let's do that. Let's just take it off here so I can show you how it comes off. And again, it's just literally just like an umbrella. Pull it down. And we're back to— we're back to it being an umbrella. It just folds up. So it's not that difficult to put on. Same thing here. This is literally just going to get wrapped around like this, and then it ties onto here. So, um, I think that the, the harder part is going to be putting it back in the sleeve where, uh, where it needs to go. But anyways, it looks functional. Um, again, I don't know, I don't know that I'd use it every day, um, but if in the hot summer heat I would definitely probably use it every day, but just, it just depends on the climate, I guess, that you're in, and then how you want to protect your car from the inside from getting so hot. So there we go. So anyways, it just goes right back into the COVID Thanks for, for being here. Look for my next video, and we'll see you guys later.
