And for everybody on Periscope, we're on my Facebook fan page as well. It's onassaraf Facebook fan page. So if you want to join us there, you can, where we're answering a lot of questions as well. And so a lot of times when we get into the holiday season, people like to start planning for 2017. And for many of you, we're going to be showing you how to do that starting tomorrow in our coaching program. But for everybody else, a lot of times, the holiday season means you're going to gain more weight, you're going to spend more money, you're going to be more stressed than ever. And I can share with you. Just yesterday my wife was telling me, sweetheart, can you help me take care of the kids? You know, Chris McCa gifts, he says, I'm so stressed out, I've got so many different things to do. And so trust me, it's happening in our household as well. And so today, again, we're going to talk about three tips to get you through the holidays. More health, more wealth, and more happiness. And so to make that happen, here's my question for you. Number one, I'm watching us live right now on Periscope as well as on Facebook on my fan page. First, let me see who's here. Tell me where you're from. Hey there, Jim, Leticia, Judith, Emmanuel, nice to have you on. So tell me, where are you from? And let's have a little bit of fun by seeing how I guess Cosmopolitan and international is our audience. And I'll say hi to you. We're building our audience right now on the fly. And so here's a couple of questions I'd like to ask you. Maybe we'll start off with one question, and that is what usually is your experience during the holiday. Are you under more stress, more pressure? Do you used to gain weight and feel more sluggish, or are you vibrant, energetic and really focusing on creating an amazing December? Let's just see what people are commenting right now. All right, Great to have you all there. Hey, Bella from California and Liliana and Mark Hawkins from the U.K. rhonda, happiness. Yes, more stress. Thur Essa, Tamara, Spokane, Washington. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Focused. All right. Good fun. So we're building up an audience right now. And so what I'm asking everybody is where are you from and do the holidays give you More peace of mind and more calmness, or is it more stress and more weight gain and a little less energy, more anxiety? Lynn, you love the season. So do I. Romy, hey there from Michigan. And Liliana fired up. Maggie, hi there. Focusing on holidays, San Bernardino, very emotional. The holidays make me vibrant and energetic. I love that. Hey there. James from Hawaii. Mahalo back to you. Carmen, hey from California. Awesome. So here is I'm going to give you three tips. I'll probably give you more than three tips on how to really make sure that the holiday season is something that gives you more health, happiness, wealth and things like this. And so one of the things that I do every year before the Christmas holiday, so I start in November, I asked myself, what do I want my December to look like and what do I mean specifically by that? So what is the number one or two experience that I want to create during the holiday season with my employees, with my family, with my kids, with my friends? And the reason I share that with you is because I believe that what all of us really want is more enriching experiences. And I like to leave some room, a little bit of room for chance. But I like to design the experiences that I want to have. And so here's your first tip. Number one is design what the month is going to look like. Don't worry about next year right now, but design what the month is going to look like. And why do I suggest that you design what the month looks like? Well, it's an anomaly of a month. It's, you know, the holiday season. You know, from Thanksgiving in the United States all the way through to, you know, Christmas and New Year's, most people don't have a design of the experience that they want to have with their friends or families. And so one of the first things that you want to create is what are your goals for the experiences that you want to have in the month of December. And I like to break down the experiences that I have. What's my health experience going to be like? And when I think of my health, I don't think of just my physical health. I think of my spiritual health and well being, my emotional health and well being. And why emotional? Well, when you have a concentrated time frame like the holidays where you're, you know, you're maybe working less at the office or working the same and you're going to parties and you're getting gifts for people and you're taking time off and you're getting ready for next year, for a lot of people, that's A lot of mental stuff, stress and pressure, and that can create anxiety. And so what is your plan for creating the experiences you want, but for making sure that your mental health is actually great? And here's a couple things that I think are really worthwhile for you. Every day when you wake up, take three to five minutes, three to five minutes to see your day and your week. Why? Well, if you can see yourself getting through your day calmly, effectively breathing through any of the stress or the anxiety that the holiday season brings forth, that is going to give you something that most people don't have. And that's a little bit of peace of mind. How does it work when you take a few minutes to do something called pre commitment to the day, you're setting up in advance what you're pre committing to. So if you pre commit to just allowing, okay, the day to happen to you, trust me, this holiday season, like every other one, is going to be filled with a lot of stress and anxiety and a lot of probably happiness and great memories. But if you pre commit to managing your day, to overcoming the stress through breathing every hour, maybe for one minute, and just resetting your brain's anxiety center or stress center, you're going to be able to get through the day, the week and the month in a much more calm state. And the reason I suggest that you do this is when we have a lot of anxiety or stress because of the holiday season or because a compressed amount of things or things have to be done in a compressed amount of time that creates a lot of pressure. And most people don't have a ritual or a plan for compressing okay time but also releasing stress. So, so every morning, just take three to five minutes and pre commit to what you are going to do and how you're going to do it and how you're going to feel and then see yourself overcoming any of the known or unknown obstacles. I call this a pre commitment to a perfect day. Pre commitment to a perfect day. Pre commitment to a perfect week. Pre commitment to a perfect month. Now, if you're going to pre commit to a perfect day, perfect week, perfect month, then you have to have some goals. So what are your emotional goals, your mental goals, physical goals, health goals, financial goals, just for the month. And so when you have a target and a goal and you pre commit to the accomplishment of that goal and you do what I suggested just a few moments ago, and that is you take three to five minutes in the morning to play out just like an athlete or a musician or even an astronaut, mentally Rehearses the play happening in their mind. What you're going to do is you're going to lower your stress, lower your anxiety, and you are going to be more likely to follow through in advance. So let me share with you something that I recently did in Las Vegas. So I made a commitment on September 13th. You can calculate the days to cut out sugar from my diet. And I was recently in Las Vegas. But before I went to Las Vegas, I played in my mind going to the buffets at the Encore or Wynn hotel that I stayed at. And I've been there before. So I knew in my mind that this buffet was half the size of a football field. There were so many different stations. But I pre committed to having those choices in front of me and not eating any of the sweets because I had a goal of giving up sugar for one year. So I had the goal giving up sugar for a year. I had the pre commitment. And then I mentally rehearsed that situation probably 30, 40 times for 15, 20 seconds at a time in my mind before I went to Las Vegas. Why? Well, I wanted to give myself the mental rehearsal so that when that yummy, delicious cake and cookies and pies and flambes and ice cream and frozen yogurt was in front of me, knowing that I'm a sugar addict, I had the muscle, mental muscle, to pre commit in advance and then to act upon what I've already rehearsed in my mind 30, 40, 50 times. If that makes sense to you, just hit the like or the love button so I could see the comments coming across my screen. So if that makes sense to you, set the goal and then you have the pre commitment that you mentally rehearse a bunch of times. That is a trick of the experts. All right? And so I'm going to say hello to a whole bunch of people. So Usha from India and Bertha. Yes. No sugar. Milena. Liliana. Jens. OLS Anderson. Debbie Sweetser. Hey there, Debbie. Estuardo. Hey. So goal pre commitment actually lowers your anxiety and stress because you have mentally rehearsed it over and over and over again. So if you like this, for some reason, I'm not seeing the likes or the loves, but if you like it. Good morning. Jennifer Haynes and Amy Mostra. Tanya. And so three tips to get you through the holidays with more health, wealth and happiness. So one of the health ones is around your commitment to your health. And again, I'm going to go to emotional health, mental health, physical health, and spiritual health. So you create the goal, but then you create the Pre commitment of what you're going to do when the. The situations arise that take you off of your game. And then you mentally rehearse that. That's your tip number one. So goal and pre commitment. Tip number two. Tip number two. Are you ready? Tip number two. All right, there you go. So I'm just looking at your comments now. So tip number two is all about values based on decision making. Hmm. Values based decision making. So what's values based decision making? It's making your decisions every day from your highest values. So what are values? So you could have Peace of mind is a value. You can have money as one of the things you value or the freedom that money gives you as a value. You can have health as a value. You can have families of value. You can have God as a value. You can have fun and excitement as a value. And so what is values based decision making? Values based decision making is a process by which you make your decisions so that you are actively doing the things that meet your highest values first. You do things that meet your highest values first. So before I share with you. Okay. How to do that, I'm going to ask you a question. What is one thing that you value the most in in your life? What's the one thing you value the most in your life? Let's see if we can get. Okay, a list. I want to see what you value the most. And while you write down what you value, let me share with you my top five values in order. I value my relationship with God as number one. And I'm not religious. I am spiritual. I believe everybody is spiritual. We have a multitude of religions and we express how we value our relationship with God or spirituality through religions or through other practices. But I have. My number one value is God. My number two value is my health. And I break down my health into spiritual health, mental health, emotional health, and physical. Spiritual, emotional, mental and physical. I call that semp S E M P. And so I look at number two as my health. Number three is my family. Number four is contribution to my family, my employees and the world. And number five is fun and experiences. So what does that mean? So let me see what we've got here. We've got relationship with self. Okay, that's Nadia. Debbie says grandchildren, family, God, teaching relationship with self. Nadia, Kathy says family God. Thank you, Carla, for putting down semp. Spiritual, emotional, mental, physical. So, Pamela, I see yours Bertha, family. But I'm trying to value my health. Let me share with you. Thank you for putting all this on. So, Liliana, awesome. So let me share with you why values based decision making is going to help make your holidays amazing. When you start making your decisions based on the things that resonate with your soul the most, who you are, okay? Your essence of who you are, whatever that means for you, and what is most important to you, that's when you are going to actually be the happiest, the most content, and you're going to feel like your life has the most purpose and meaning. Let me repeat that. When you make your decisions based on what you value the most, that is when you're going to feel like your life has the most purpose and meaning and that's when you're going to feel the most content and happy. What I have found is most people don't have their values or a hierarchy of what's number one, what's number two, what's number three, what's number four, what's number five? And so once you have your values, and this is something that we teach in our values based living program, once you have your values, then you can say, great, what can I do today? Not in a month or three months, today to make sure that I'm meeting my highest value? So let me, let me give you an example. My highest values I mentioned to you is God. And I mentioned I'm not religious, but I'm very spiritual. So for me, every morning when I wake up, one of the first things I do is I meditate. I have certain rituals to connect to the source of all supply. And for me, I call that source, that intelligence, that omnipotent, omnipresent intelligence that permeates all space and time and every human being, I call that God. You may have a different name for it or you may be, you know, agnostic, you may be an atheist, that's okay. But for me, that's my highest value. So I look to do that first. And so that takes care of parts of what I do for my spiritual fulfillment. Contribution also fills that need for me of living my highest value. So, contribution of my time, my knowledge, my energy, my finances to people and cost that want my help or need my help. So when I do these training sessions on Facebook every Tuesday at 9:00 clock Pacific Time, 12:00 clock New York time, it's part of my contribution. Taking what's worked for me or what is working for me, or taking what has not worked for me and teaching it to other people so their lives could be easier, so they could live more of their potential, so I can fulfill my spiritual needs in those ways. But then I've got the other parts of health and that's what I do for my emotional health. Well, I focus on mindfulness, I focus on being able to understand my core emotions, whether it's anger, disgust, sadness, happiness, shame, some of the core emotions, I look to understand how to manage those. So I do that to manage my emotions. And then there's my mental abilities, my attitude, my perceptions, my paradigms, my beliefs, working on developing those. But when we talk about physical health, I also like to make sure that the physical body is working really well. The nine systems in the body are working synergistically and we're working on having lots of energy, lots of focus, lots of clarity, you know, lots of physical ability to do what I want to get done. And so that's the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical. So I work out about an hour a day with a trainer so that I stay on track physically. So that's the number two thing that I do, is I focus on my health and then family. What am I doing today, this week, this month with my family members or my team here at the office, which is part of my family. So you see how values based decision making allows you to take the biggest asset you have, which is your life, and then manage what you do in time. There's no such thing time management, so the only thing you can really manage is what you do in time. And if you really want your life and the holiday season to be phenomenal and powerful and meaningful and happy, do the things that give you the highest return on energy. R O E return on your energy means you are going to be organized in what you're going to do first because you're going to have goals. As we talked about before, you're going to pre commit every morning to achieving those goals and overcoming the obstacles. Every hour you're going to take one minute, do some breathing exercise just to reset your brain and let go of the anxiety or the stress. And then when you add the values based decision, decision making into your day, your week and your month, that means that for the next 25 or so days between now and the end of the year, you are going to be highly organized to do the things that bring you the most joy and fulfillment. To do the things that inspire you instead of doing the things that expire you. Inspiring you gives you energy, feeds your soul, feeds who you are. And when you do those things that make you smile, that make you happy, that put you on track and on target for trading your life for what you love, that is really, what is going to help you make this holiday season better than any other holiday season that you've ever had? So first and foremost, thank you Pamela. I appreciate you being there. Pamela, thank you. Patty, thank you. Marcus, thank you. And Mark Hawkins, thank you. Usha. Inspiring. Yeah, inspiring. We want to do things that inspire us, not expiring us. Thank you, Mark, I appreciate you too as well. So if you like this, hit the like or the love button. Better yet, share it and tag one friend. Tag one friend that you want their holiday season to be even better. I'm not offering anything to buy on this session today. I do another session today. There's a sell free zone. This is pure content for you to have an amazing holiday season. So I'm going to give you a quick recap and I'm going to give you a few more tips. So number one is that you set your goals, you know, for the things you want to get accomplished and done this month. Number two is you're going to pre commit to getting those done but overcoming any of the obstacles. And then number three, you're going to make your decisions based on your highest values. And here's a little bonus for you. All right, Daniel, you're welcome. I'm looking at your comments. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you, Matt. For all of you, just, you know, share this like this, love this, and then share this, you know, with people in your inner sphere. Hit the share button, tag somebody just by, you know, putting their name and tagging them. So let me talk to you a little bit about money, okay? Because money is always a challenging issue for a lot of people during the holidays. And the question is, how much is know, do you get yourself in the hole during the holiday season or is it possible to earn more income during the holiday season? And here's something that I personally believe works and I can share with you. This works for my wife and I and a lot of people ask me, neil, do you have a budget? Do you have a budget? Did you work off. And the answer is yeah, I work off of a budget for absolutely everything in my business. I have a budget for my home life. I have a budget. My wife and I and our bookkeeper keep track of how much we spend on food every month, how much we spend on our cars every month, how much we spend on vacations and trips and the kids, college and expenses, and we track everything. And for those of you who want to do that easily, there's a software you can get, it's free, I think it's called Mint m. I n t.com where you can start tracking everything. So check that out. It's something that I don't use mint, but we use other methodologies. But I have a bookkeeper. But mint helps you keep track. But let me digress for just a moment and talk about the holiday season. Most people get in trouble over the holidays because of emotional spending. And all of the stores, whether online or offline, whether it's TV or radio, they know how to activate the emotional response system in the brain. Most marketing and sales, really good marketing and sales is based on emotional response marketing or behavior based marketing. But here's what I mean by that. If you are the type of person that goes out shopping and looks for stuff and goes, oh my God, this looks great. Oh, she would love that. Oh, he would love that. Oh my God, I would love that. That is a recipe for blowing your budget and really not having an organized way to do this. So here's what we do is my wife and I sit down and we take a look at our family and we take a look at what is the budget for the season? What's the budget for the season for gifts or experiences or holidays, etc. So for example, our Christmas vacation that was planned last year, so we already know the budget for that. So I'm going to set that aside. But four gifts for children, family, friends and employees. We start off with a budget. What happens to most people is if they don't have a budget, they tend to blow right through it because they're not keeping track. But if you start off with a budget, a macro amount, which means a whole amount first, whether it's $500 or $1,000 or 5,000 or 50,000 is irrelevant. And then you break it down for yourself. Here's what you're allotted to invest in treating yourself really well this holiday season and put a number to it and then put a number to for your friends and family. And here's your goal. Stick to your budget. Stick to your budget. Because that is what wealthy people do to become wealthy is they have budgets and they stick to their budget. So that's part one of this. The other part is asking yourself a question that most people don't ask during the holiday season. How could you earn a little bit more income during the holiday season? You go, hmm, if you're an employee, how do you earn a little bit more income? Well, could you offer your knowledge or services to other people that may need it? Do you have some things that you can sell, sell on ebay? Do you have Anything that could generate some income, whether it's furniture, whether it's art, whether it's jewelry. My wife, I saw some money that went into our bank account about a week and a half ago, and I asked my wife, what is this? And she goes, oh, I sold one of my purses that I haven't used in a couple of years. And I go, really? $700 for a purse? I, I only can imagine what she spent on it to begin with. But she was thinking about, you know, how is she going to invest what she wants to in the budget that we have? But also she wanted to have a little bit extra. So she sold a purse of hers on some online purse shop. I don't know. But she was being resourceful and creative and staying within the budget. Does that make sense? And so when we talk about money, what you don't want to do is get yourself behind the eight ball going into January. What if you could really stick to your budget this year, Maybe even make a little bit more income this year, maybe, but not have this debt burdened stress in January, February, March and April, or however, however long it'll take you to pay off. Okay, the overspending. What you don't want to do is have the joy of spending now and the stress of overspending in January, February, mark and start the year behind the eight ball, so to speak. Does that make sense now? Why am I taking you there? It's because discipline can be your first friend. The most successful people in the world that achieve health goals, relationship goals, financial goals, relationship goals, they have certain disciplines around how they behave, what they do and what they don't do. And they have certain rituals. And I want you to have an amazing season, but I don't want you to feel the pressure and the stress and the anxiety having to catch up for the first month or two or three or four or five. For some of you, that has been your pattern. And so you do that by having a goal, pre committing, making your decisions based on your highest values, but also having the discipline to do something differently. Now, why would you want to have the discipline? Let me share something with you. When you show yourself that you can set a goal, you can pre commit to it. You can see overcoming the obstacles through mental rehearsal and through some strategies, and you show yourself that you could be disciplined. It doesn't matter if you're 10% more disciplined than before or 20 or 30 or 40 or 50% more disciplined than before. When you start to say to yourself, I am a disciplined human being, that Gives you more confidence and more certainty. And you know what people do with more confidence and more certainty? They achieve more goals. Do you know what people do when they feel like they don't have confidence? They don't have certainty, they don't have discipline, they don't have tenacity, they don't have the ability to set a goal and achieve it. They tear a strip away from their self esteem and their self worth. And so how do you build your self esteem and your self worth and your confidence and your certainty? You set some goals, you pre commit. You make your decisions based on your highest value. So you are happy, you have a meaningful life, you are energetic, you are loving your life because you're trading your life for things that are super freaking important. And when you add a little bit of discipline for health, wealth, relationships, career, finances, you start to build all of the mental muscles and abilities to achieve any one of your goals and dreams. And you have to start sometime. Why not start right now? Do you know what most people do? Ah, let me wait until next year. Well, how many next years are you going to wait until? Until how many times? You can use the same story and excuse. My phone's ringing right now, which is something we need to turn off when we do this. So does this make sense? Because we're at the top of the hour. Does this make sense? Do you like this? Does that give you at least three, four or five tips on how to get through the holidays with with more health, more wealth and more happiness? If you like this let me know because I'm looking at this right now. All right, let me just look at your comments right now. If you like this, let me know. All right, so Maggie, you did this before you fell off the back wagon on Back the wagon. Get back on. Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome. Alright, so that is what I have for you today. I'm about four minutes past the hour. If you like this, hit the like love button. But more importantly, share this with somebody so we can help make their holiday season an amazing holiday. And for those of you that are joining me for the four coaching sessions on achieving your goals in 2017 that I'm starting tomorrow, I'm not going to promote it right now. We already did that last last week. You can find the link somewhere in the Facebook page. But that's your training for today. We've got about 560 comments already and 39 shares. So let's see if we can get the shares up to at least 100 shares. All right, have an amazing day. Just Remember, next Tuesday, 9:00 o', clock, we'll be doing another training session. That's 9:00 o' clock Pacific, 12:00 New York time. And thank you so much. All right, thanks so much. Have an awesome day and I look forward to reading all of your comments and to seeing how many of you actually pay it forward and share this. Bye everyone.
