John Assaraf delivers a brief motivational message from Telluride, Colorado, using skiing as a central metaphor: life has skill levels (beginner → expert) and advancing requires increased effort, repeated practice, and accepting failure. He frames everyday choices (health, wealth, relationships, career, business, experiences) as decisions about which level to play at and encourages persisting through falls to improve.

Hey, this is John. I'm here in Telluride, Colorado, and one of the thoughts that I had as I've been skiing here for the last few days with some of my best friends and my brother, is that at every level of life, there's also levels that you can play the game. And just as in skiing, you've got beginners, intermediates, advanced and experts. Each one of the levels that you want to get up to requires a little bit more effort, a little bit more trying, a little bit more falling, a little bit more failure to get to that next level. And nobody gets to the next level without putting the work in to get to that next level. And one of the things that you and I have a choice to make every day, whether it's health, wealth, our relationships, our career, our businesses, our fun or experiences, is the choice of what level of the game do you want to play at. And if you want to play at the higher level, all you've got to do is practice and go and do it until you get better. And guess what? You're gonna fall. But when you get back up and do it again, that's where you start getting better. See you later.
