How's your business kicking off 2010?

John Assaraf (CEO/founder, One Coach) gives a short coaching message for business owners to start 2010 strong. He urges daily neural reconditioning (listen to a program 15–20 minutes daily), a morning ritual of gratitude, 15–30 minutes of meditation, and visualization of your business as if it were already at the desired level. He also emphasizes concrete planning: write quarterly goals, set revenue and sales targets, have strategic and marketing plans and budgets, choose to DIY or get help, and stay accountable. He promotes upcoming One Coach resources and an event (Mind Marketing and Millions at the end of April) and asks for referrals.

Hey everyone, this is John Assaraf, CEO and founder of One Coach. I hope that you had a great ending to 2009 and that you're well rested and ready for a great 2010. Now I want to make sure that you get your head on right and that you are doing the right things in the right order starting off the year. Now, it doesn't matter if you've been with us for a year or two as members and clients or you've just joined One Coach and you've just got started with us. One of the most important things that you can do every single day is listen to the neural reconditioning program that's included with your membership, with your coaching or your consulting every day for just 15, 20 minutes. Make sure that you get the mindset right, that you are retraining your brain for the next level of success so that you eliminate the doubts, the fears, the anxieties, or that you learn how to manage them. That you learn how to manage the self sabotaging thoughts that we all have. That is going to help you get started off to a great year. So the mindset piece is also something that I do every single day. Here's how I do it. Every day when I wake up, the first thing I do is I say a little prayer. I talk about in my own head, something that I'm grateful for right that moment as I wake up. And then I look at the different areas of my life, health, wealth, relationships, my businesses, my family, God, etc. And I ask, what am I grateful for in those little areas of life that sets me off right at the beginning of the day in a great vibration? That's number one. Number two, I take between 15 and 30 minutes just to do a meditation where I quiet my mind down. I take and release all thoughts and I get into a total space of quietness, little meditation. When I'm finished, that I do a little visualization session. And so for all of you business owners, you think about what does your business look like right now? Not where it's at right now, but you envision in your mind what you want it to look like. How many employees do you have? How many clients are you serving? How much revenue is coming in? What when you're really chugging along doing a great job, you imagine and you pretend and you visualize as if it's real right now. That sets up the vibration that helps retrain your brain and connect the neural network that you need in order to think, perceive and behave in ways that will line up with your new image. So you act as if you pretend you set that vision and you really emotionalize it every single day. And you do that before you get out of bed. That's easy to do. Then that gives you more reason, by the way, to stay in bed a little bit longer. So you do that. It'll take you about 30 minutes for that whole process. Think of it as inner size. As opposed to the exercise we do for our bodies, it's the inner size for our mind. This will make sure that your conscious mind, the place in your brain that you choose what you want, lines up with the subconscious mind, which is the programmed mind with the vibration. Now, that's only a part of the equation, as you know that it takes to succeed. Have you taken the time to write your goals down for the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and end of the year? Do you know the amount of revenue that you're targeting by the end of the year? Do you know how many of your products or services you will sell by the end of the year? Is your strategic plan in place? Is your marketing plan in place? Do you have your budgets in place? Because if you don't, that's like trying to build a building or a shopping center with no plans. You've got to get disciplined. And I've always said there's three options for you. Number one, do it yourself. Number two, get help doing it. That's what we're here for. Number three, have somebody else do it for you. So you have to analyze what needs to get done. We'll help you do that. You've got to put a plan together for how you're going to get that done. And then you have to implement and keep yourself accountable. And that's what your one coach coach will do. Help you keep accountable to the plan that you set. Now is the best time for you to plan. Now is the best time for you to set that dream, set that vision in motion. And now is the best time for you to get some acceleration so you start strong and you keep going all year long. And we'll tweak and tweak and tweak with you this year, next year, and the year after. We've got some great new stuff coming out in the next three, four months that will really help you a lot. We've got an incredible event happening at the end of April, the Mind Marketing and Millions event. Don't miss it. No matter what, Be there. We've got some great keynotes. Individuals will help you grow your business. We'll help you strategize, we'll get you in the right mindset with the right plans all year long. And for the rest of your business career, I hope you're loving one coach as much as we're loving serving you. Have a great week, and on behalf of the entire OneCoach team, thanks so much. Oh, by the way, one of the things that we love is referrals. If you know of anybody that we can help, please let us know. Our goal is to help millions of business owners around the world. And that means your friends, your family, and any colleagues you have that have a business that really has the potential to grow. Bye bye now.
