Learn How to 3X Your Business Revenue This Year

John Assaraf breaks down a two-part revenue formula: traffic times conversion equals revenue, then add repeat business and referrals for exponential growth. He uses a 19-year-old real estate cold-calling script to show how practicing objection-handling works, and recommends Facebook ads to drive cheap targeted traffic.

Hey, great day to you today. I hope that you are having a great time somewhere in the world. Maybe to start off the day you can share with me who you are and where you're from. I've got my little computer here. My team is here at my home and I've been nursing some broken ribs as a result of a little skiing fall that I had last weekend or maybe about 10 days ago. But I want to take a look at who's here with me and I'll put on my 50 year old's glasses on here right now and let's have a little bit of fun and see what is going on in our community today. I'm going to be talking about the formula. If you have a business that really is one of the things you must understand to be able to drive enough leads to convert them into paying customers so you can sell them your amazing products or services and make a big difference in their life. And so let's take a look at who's on today and let's see, where are you from? All right, so Chase, let me just ask you a question. Who's my team member over here? I'm not seeing us on Facebook Live right now. Do you see us on there? Let's just take a look at this. All right, where are we on Facebook Live? No. Oh, actually, you know what, I'm on the wrong page myself, so I'm going to have to go to our Facebook page. I was on one of our community pages. So here's a question for you. Share with me. You know, what is your business? What business are you in or what business do you want to start? One of the things I learned many, many years ago from one of my very first mentors when I was 19 years old was business can be the royal road to financial freedom. Business can be the royal road to financial freedom. However, building a business is like learning how to solve the Rubik's Cube. And if you've ever seen any of my videos on solving the Rubik's Cube, you know that there are millions of different possible combinations to solve the Rubik's Cube and very, very few people learn the pattern. And what you will learn from the individuals that solve the Rubik's Cube is that they learn a pattern that they repeat over and over and over again and then they get better at it with time. Today there are kids who are 5, 6, 7 years old that you could blindfold them after they look at a Rubik's Cube and they could put the Rubik's Cube behind their back and solve it in less than a minute. And I think the world record for solving a Rubik's cube, I think the 3x3 or 4x4 ones is something like 7 seconds. So who do we have over here? We've got Moyes. And I'm not sure where you are from. Kathleen, you're just starting an online marketing business. You're going to love this. Nadia, real estate. You're going to love this because that's really my background. Ellie Chappelle, SEO. Awesome. Tina Turner, drop shipping, network marketing. Christina Withers, commercial lending. We've got Maggie, Panama City Beach. I'm not sure what you do. Let me ask you a question. Is this a topic that you like? If this is a topic you like, let me see the like or the love button. Click on that for me. So I know that we are on the right vein. Okay. We got doc can our food industry. And by the way, I have a little gift for you. I'm not going to tell you what it is yet, but I've got two gifts for you, you for joining me today and I'll show you how to get that. If you like the idea of getting a gift for being able to generate more leads and more customers, hit the like or the love button. And I've got Chase enjoying this right now. So let me share something with you. Business is a science and it's a science about numbers. And I'll explain in just a moment. When I got into real estate when I was 19 years old, the gentleman who taught me how to become successful in business basically did something that I thought was crazy at the time, but it made all the difference in the world over 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months. As I became better at doing this, he put a telephone in front of me and he had me pick up the phone and just call numbers from a telephone book based on the streets that were around the real estate office that I worked at. And he basically gave me a script. And I'm 55 years old today, but I can recite the script for for you like it was yesterday. And the script was basically this. And you'll understand why this is so important when I give you the formula, the one formula that can transform any business. And here was the script ready. I would pick up the phone, I would dial a phone number and I would go, hi, this is John Assaraf with Allen Brown Real Estate. We have somebody who's looking to buy a home in your neighborhood. Are you thinking of making a move if the People said yes, I would go, great, can I come and take a look at your home this afternoon or this morning to see if it's right for our clients? If they said yes, I would make an appointment. I would go there with the manager of my office or the broker, the owner of my company, and he would help me get the listing for that home. If they said, no, we're not interested, I looked at a sheet of paper that I had in front of me and I would say, oh, that's okay. Do you know if any of your neighbors are looking to sell their home? Since we have a buyer who wants to move into the neighborhood. And if they said yes, I would say, great, would you mind putting me in touch with them? If they said no, I'd say thank you. And I'd say, by the way, when do you think you might consider making a move? And then I'd write it down on a piece of paper. And so for those of you that are just joining us right now, we're talking about the formula, the one formula that you must have in order to, to achieve success in business. And I just went through a script that was written down for me that basically gave me a path to go based on what people told me when I called them up cold, calling on the phone as a 19 year old real estate agent. And so why am I sharing this story with you? Well, I'm sharing the story with you because I learned a very, very, very important lesson when I was 19 years old. And the lesson was this. Professional people practice what they need to do. And I learned something that goes like this. You will get paid in direct proportion to how much you practice in private. You will get paid in public. So what? You practice in private, you will get paid in public. So I want to ask you a question and again, I haven't given you the formula yet. So for those of you that are just joining, I'm going to give you the formula and I'm going to give you access to this document that is going to transform your ability to get as many prospects and buyers as you want so you convert them into wonderful, happy paying customers. So let me ask you one more time, what business are you in? Let me see the number of business owners that we have over here. All right? Just so I could see what business that you're in. Hi there, Indirani. Hey, Indrani. I know Indrani. She's a part of our programs. Right eye. Chase told me I had something on my right eye. All right. And I'm videoing from my Home right now, live. I've been nursing some broken ribs. Unfortunately, I took a spill skiing a couple weeks ago. Real estate broker. Awesome. Love the real estate broker. I've got my wife in the room next door watching me. I just saw. Hi there, sweetheart. Health coach. Awesome, awesome, awesome. The little sheet that I'm going to give you all access to in a few minutes is really going to help make a difference for you. So we've got lots and lots and lots of you that are in business in a variety of different businesses. So let me share with you the formula that I learned. Traffic times conversion equals revenue. That's part one of the formula. Traffic. Traffic. So what is traffic? Traffic is the number of people that either come to your website, land on your landing page, people that you meet, people that you call. It's any type of traffic to a place where you can start a dialogue with a prospect to see if what you have, your product or your service is right for them. So traffic is any type of inflow of prospects. Times conversion. Your ability to convert a prospect, somebody that may or may not have any interest in your product or service into somebody that you can offer your product or service to. So traffic times conversion equals revenue. Write that down. Can somebody do me a favor and write this down? Because I'm going to give you part two of this formula. Traffic times conversion equals revenue. So let me give you an example. Let's say you have 100 people that come to your website, okay, every day. Let's just say every day. But only one person takes action to do something on your website like give you their name or email you for some information. That means that you have a one in a hundred conversion of people who come to your website that then request more information. That sucks. Let's say you go to a networking event and you meet 10 people and you talk to those 10 people and nobody asks you for more information about what you do. That means you have zero conversion from the people you talk to to taking the next step into what you want them to do, which is to actually at least have interest in your product or service so you can move them through a sales process to hopefully help them with your product or service. The other thing I want you to know before I give you part two of this formula is this. Your business as a business owner is not, I repeat, it's not to sell anybody anything. Your business is to help solve people's problems, people's pains, people's fears, people's irritations, and people's aspirations, wants and needs. Let Me repeat that. Your job is not to sell anything. It's to help solve people's problems, fears, frustrations in irritations, and help them achieve what they want or need in their life. So if you have the mindset of helping others, that is part one of what you need to be focused on, the psychology for yourself. In a lot of cases, people are trying to sell something to somebody and there's tension between the buyer and the seller because the buyer always feels like they're being sold. But what you want to do is have the attitude of helping. So part one of the formula is traffic times conversion equals revenue. But to exponentially grow that, it's traffic times conversion equals revenue plus repeat business and referrals equals exponential revenue. Repeat buyers, people who buy your first product or service and your next one, and your next one, and your next one, and refer you to others because what you have offered them is so outstanding that they want to tell their friends about that. So is somebody writing this down for me? Traffic times conversion equals revenue. Traffic times conversion plus repeat business and referrals equals exponential revenue. And that's what the whole idea of a business is. So let's think for one moment whether you're in the real estate businesses. I've seen. Some of you are in the real estate business, some of you are in the coaching business, some of you are in online marketing, some of you are counselors, some of you are, let me just see over here. Actually, this is going a little too fast for me, but there's a variety of different business. We have about 600 and some odd people live right now. So the thing that you want to understand as well is how do you get traffic? How do you get in front of people who you could potentially develop a relationship with? The first thing that you must remember in this world where so many people are trying to get you to pay attention to them, first and foremost, the business that you are in is. Is in the attention grabbing business. Let me repeat that. The business that you are in is in the attention grabbing business. Why do I say that? Well, first and foremost, you have 50 to 70,000 thoughts a day on your own, in your own brain. That's one, two. When you're on Facebook, you've got messages that are coming through at such rapid speeds that are trying to grab your attention, that you are, you know, facing this ADD challenge, okay, of being multitasking. Facebook, by the way, is an interruptive medium. It's trying to interrupt what you're doing. Why do you think Facebook gives all of us this platform for free. They don't make their money on you and I, okay, doing this on Facebook. They make their money on getting people to advertise on Facebook to try and interrupt you and I while we're on Facebook in our news feeds or on the side banners. That's how Facebook makes their billions and billions of dollars. So the question you've got to ask yourself is this. Could you use Facebook to generate a lot of prospects for you to start developing a relationship with. A relationship with Facebook was originally created, remember, for university students to connect with each other so they would know what's going on, what's hot, what movies are happening, what parties are going on, where are you hanging out, you know, what's happening in your dorm, what's happening in the other dorm. And Mark Zuckerberg was pretty smart and realized that this could be used as a much bigger platform. But I want you to think about this. Do you know how many users are on Facebook every month? Let's see. Let's have a little trivia and I'm going to give you a couple of tools. I'm going to actually, I'm going to give you this cheat sheet in just a moment. Plus a two hour free training on how to use Facebook like we do. Just so you know, my company spends between 3 to $500,000 a month to advertise on Facebook. We figured out how to use Facebook. So I'm going to give you some free stuff to learn what not to do, but more importantly, to learn what to do for as little as a dollar a day on Facebook. So how many people do you think use Facebook every. Every single month? Let's see if you know the answer. Who knows the answer? I'm looking right over here. Who knows the answer? Who knows the answer? All right, there's a delay on Facebook, obviously, all right, But Facebook, just so you know, 1.8 billion people, 1.8 billion people every walk of life on Facebook. And so if you are looking for customers, you first need to ask yourself, where are my customers? Where am I going to get this traffic? And there is interruptive marketing, which means you interrupt people while they're doing other things. And then there's search marketing, like Google, people who are searching for what you have. But for today, let's talk just about Facebook. If there are 1.8 billion people all over the world looking on Facebook to connect with other people, why not use Facebook to be able to target the client that is looking for what you have or the client who has an interest in what you have. Would you like to learn how to do that? Because if you do, then here is something that we created. It's a getting new customers on Facebook. And it's a simple five step process. My team is going to put a link in the chat right now for you to be able to get this five step process. But I'll also include a two hour training that my VP of sales and marketing, Lanny Morton, who is freaking brilliant, okay. Is going to give you. And it's part of a program called Business Black that our clients invest up to $8,000 to learn from us. But we'll give you this for free. But here's what I want you to remember. The first part of any sales is building trust and rapport. Building trust and rapport. If you think about who do you buy from? Do you just buy randomly from anybody, anytime, anywhere? The answer is no. You usually will buy from somebody that you've developed a little bit of trust and rapport with them. And so how do you develop trust and rapport with. With people on Facebook? Well, you obviously could have a Facebook page, but Facebook has some amazing tools that just three, four, five years ago, you'd have to spend 10, 20, $30,000, okay, through vendors to find out, you know, the profile of the people on Facebook. To find out, you know, their age, their profile, their income status, their likes, their dislikes. There are companies who track every single behavior that you and I take. With our credit cards, every purchase we make, every website we visit, every comment we make, every text we send, every email we send, every time we type into Facebook, there is big data, monstrous computers that are analyzing everything that we do and don't do, everything we buy and don't buy, what our frequency is, what our income levels are. Everything that you and I do is being tracked by somebody. And guess what? Facebook has all that information because they've bought up a lot of these companies or they have agreements with all these companies. So let's say, for example, I'll give you if I'm a jeweler, let's say I sell jewelry, okay, Wedding bands for men and women. Facebook has the ability for you to go in there and to find out the people with the profile that may be looking for buying a wedding band or a diamond ring. And so if you want the getting, okay, new customers on Facebook, cheat sheet, five steps plus the two hour training, we're going to give it to you for free. My team is going to put that link in there for you right now and just click on the link Give us your name and we'll give you that information for free. What I can share with you is this. When we talk about this formula of traffic times conversion equals revenue referrals plus repeat business equals exponential revenue. As a business owner, somebody on your team, it may be you, it may be somebody else, has to ask this question. How am I going to get my product, my message, my offering in front of as many qualified people as possible? You have to think of your business like a funnel, okay, a funnel. And at the top of the funnel are prospects, people that may be interested in your product or service. So you have to be thinking about what are the different channels where I could find prospects. And the beautiful thing about finding Facebook is out of their 1.8 billion people, you can invest as little as $1 a day or $5 or $10 if you want to spend a little bit more to do some very, very quick testing, testing on your message, testing on headlines to capture people's attention, testing, you know, with maybe a video or testing, you know, price points, testing different offers. And what happens is if you can get traffic people on Facebook and you can test different ways to convert them. Now I'm not talking about converting them to buy right away. You know, that would be like me getting you on this Facebook story today and saying, hey, do you want to buy this $10,000 program I have? Well, chances are, unless you know me and have followed me and have, you know, looked at either my New York Times best selling books or looked at some of the videos that I've done, we haven't built the trust and the rapport yet. But you can get people to come into what we call is your orbit, your circle of influence, for you to develop a relationship with them to, to see if you like them, to see if you trust them. Well, your prospects think the exact same way. They may have interest at first, but then over a period of time, whether it's a day, a week or a month, they start to develop a feel for whether you know what you're talking about, whether they can trust you, whether you deliver on your promises. As you build trust and rapport, then you can start testing different offers to see what price point works the best, what offer works the best. And through some just smart thinking of getting traffic and giving them ways to convert into a relationship with you for the type of product, product or service that you offer that takes care of the first part of the formula, traffic times conversion equals revenue. Then when you put together a follow up plan of whether it's calling Them, emailing them, texting them, sending them things in the mail and staying in touch with them. That's how you get them to come back, buy more of your products or services, and then refer their friends to you. It's such an easy formula when you do it right. And as I said, if you want to learn how we do it, I'm going to give you this. Getting new customers on Facebook for as little as a dollar a day. And I'm going to give you a two hour training that our business, black clients, clients who pay us up to $8,000 have just gotten. And it's a training with Lanny Morton, our VP of sales marketing in our company, who is a, he's a ninja Internet marketer. And we use a variety of different channels to get traffic. So Facebook happens to be one of the biggest channels. But let's say you don't want to use Facebook, okay? Well, you could use what, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, so many other social media outlets to be able to connect heart to heart, person to person using the Internet. And it's such an amazing medium that you could be making whether it's an extra thousand dollars a month or $10,000 a month or 50 or 100 or a million dollars a month just using Facebook. So I am at around 28 minutes past the hour and you know, I do these for 30 minutes usually every Tuesday because I broke my ribs a little while ago. I'm at home nursing them and I decided to do the session I was supposed to do yesterday, today on Wednesday. So let me ask you a question. Has this been useful for you so far? Let me see what your, your feedback is. Here's. And as the feedback comes in, Facebook has about a 10 second delay. But here's the one thing I want you to be thinking about. I want you to be thinking about maybe what you have watched me do. Okay. On Facebook with you. If this is your first time, I hope that I've delivered a lot of value to you and I know I'll deliver a ton more value when you download this. Okay. With the link that we're putting in and you take the two hour training. That's free, by the way. But ask yourself a question. I've been doing a Facebook Live, I think for about two months now, every Tuesday, maybe three months now, and every week I invest some time, think about how can I give you value either on the mindset based on the latest neuroscience to level up your game, or how to build your business, or how to create sales processes, or how to create, you know, products. We've done so many different Facebook lives. I am looking to build a relationship with you before I ask you to purchase any of our programs or products. Why? Because people buy from people they trust and like. So the number one rule for you and your business is before you try to sell anybody anything, build trust, build rapport so that they believe you and they trust you. And one of the best ways to do that is give people the some of your very, very, very best information for free. Don't be afraid to give them some of your very best information for free. And you can do that in a variety of different ways. We choose, you know, Facebook as one of the mediums that we use because there's 1.8 billion people on there and, and I have, I think about 650,000 followers. So before I forget, if you like this, will you do me a favor? Hit the share button so that we can help many more business owners with learning how to use Facebook to attract new customers for less than a dollar a day. So if you like it, hit the share button. And if you love it, give me a little love so I can see all the love fluttering by. Okay. Over here. And so I'm going to keep this to the 30 minutes. If you want to get this cheat sheet, five easy steps and a two hour training video that's free with Lanny Morton, our VP of Sales Marketing at our company Neurogym, then just type in your name and we'll get this to you right away. And next week we will see you, all right, on Tuesday at 9:00am which is every Tuesday at 9:00aM Pacific Time, 12:00am New York Time. All right, so there is your formula. Traffic times conversion equals revenue. Revenue is the key, the lifeblood of every business. And we can give people amazing products and services and get them to repeat. Buy your next product, your next service and refer people to you. That's how you grow your business. The one thing that I actually want to leave you with, before I forget, do you remember earlier when I gave you my script from when I was 19 years old? I'm 55 now, but when I was 19 years old, my real estate broker gave me a sheet of paper of exactly what to say and he gave me the answers to the objections, if people had objections. I had to practice learning what to say so that it was first nature, just like I shared with you earlier. But I also learned the objections that people had and I learned the answers to the objections. So whether I was telephone calling or door knocking. I knew what the potential objections were and pros prepare. Pros prepare. They don't ad lib or ad hoc and pretend to do things. They know what their script is, they know what the objections are and they know how to handle the objections. So people move forward. And maybe at a later date we'll do a session on understanding scripting and handling objections. But today your Formula Trust traffic times conversion equals revenue. Repeat business plus referrals equals exponential revenue. If you want to get the little cheat sheet on the five steps you can use right now with Facebook including a two hour free training, just click on the link that we've given you and just follow it and you can do it in as little as a dollar a day. If you want to spend more, you can. And I can tell you one thing, Facebook is an incredible, incredible tool to be able to use to find your exact prospect so that you can build trust and rapport with them so that they could make a decision to buy your product or service. Okay, if you've enjoyed this, give me a little like or the love. I just wanted to share a great little formula that we used with you and I hope you had a great time. We'll see you next Tuesday at 9am Pacific for another Facebook Live with me. Have an awesome day and hit the share button and share the love with me. Have an awesome day everyone. Bye bye now. Sa.
