This is a short transcript excerpt from the YouTube video "Maria and her mom Juanita" (uploaded by John Assaraf). In this opening remark a speaker addresses a large crowd ("thousands of people"), urges encouragement for Juanita and Maria, and frames the event as a fundraiser to support children—particularly those in San Diego who need medical assistance such as surgeries and doctors.

All right. Come on, Juanita. Go. Go, Ria, go. All right, so here we are. Look at this, everybody. There are so many people here now. There's thousands of people. And listen, we're doing this for the kids, right? All the kids around the world. But this is special for the kids here in San Diego who need help. Whether it's with surgeries, doctors, everything is being done for an amazing cause, and we need lots of help and support.
