Welcome to Money Squared Retire Early Retire Rich. This is a six week webinar training series where myself and several of my friends are going to be teaching you for about 10 full hours the art of making more money, investing it wisely, protecting it, and most importantly, managing it throughout the entire process so that you can actually retire early and retire rich. Now, this session today or tonight, depending on where you are in the world, or morning, wherever you are in the world, is the first of the next six sessions or five more sessions. Excuse me. And that is leading up to our live 3 day money squared event that we've had and sold out for the last two years in a row. So it's money, the art and science of financial success that I'd love you to come to this year. And that's going to be June 19th, 20th and 21st. Now, many of you may know that I have written three books, two New York Times best selling books which were the answer in having it all. I've been in the movie the Secret, I've been in the movie the Quest for success with the Dalai Lama and Richard Branson. And not to brag, but I have made millions of dollars in the stock market. I've made millions of dollars in real estate and in growing five multi million dollar companies throughout my 30 year career. And I've done that as a way to fulfill my life's potential, my future, and as a way for me to support the charities that are important to my wife and my children. And those are Rady's Children's Hospital, the Jenna Druck Foundations, doctor Without Borders and and a few other really important charities for him. My belief is that we each have an obligation not to ourselves and our family only, but then once we move from the space of maybe having a scarcity mindset and maybe not enough money to a security mindset where we have just enough to a success mindset and more than enough for ourselves to a significance mindset where we can actually make a huge difference in the world by providing tools, resources, money and time knowledge to the things that give us even more joy. And so one of the foundational reasons for doing the Money Squared Early Retire Rich campaign and webinar series is to help you understand the real things that you need to know in order to be able to get to your retirement when you choose to and live it in the way that you want to. Now, as I shared with you, I've done very, very well for myself. But what you may not know is that I've also lost millions of dollars in Real estate in the stock market and in business. And so it's easy for me to not to just share with you what I've done really, really well. But I can humbly share with you as well. I have made some catastrophic errors in my judgment. And yes, the recession took a big chunk out of many people's portfolios and real estate. And at the beginning of this last recession, I was perfectly positioned to retire very, very wealthy and more importantly, to be able to make a huge difference, a global impact on the world. And then, poof, I made a few very critical errors in my thinking and in my business and investing. And guess what happened? Because of some of my errors, I wiped out millions of dollars from my net worth. And I'm sharing this with you, number one, to let you know that every successful person that I know has ups and downs and highs and lows and does well and then makes errors in judgment or the recession hits or something happens that blindsides you. So I want you to know, number one, don't think of me or anybody else as any different than you are. We have highs and lows and good days and good months and challenging ones and great years and challenging years. However, the people that succeed are the ones that get back up and they do what it takes from a thinking perspective, and more importantly, they do what it takes in the real world to regain whatever it is that they gave back. And I don't ever think of losing money. I think of it going back into what I refer to as God's bank and a way for God to keep me gainfully employed, to. To share my gifts, my passion, and my purpose with the world. And so I know that many people lost a fortune, whether it's in real estate, in the stock market, in many cases their jobs. And I know that another type of income is the income that I call the psychic income that people lose as a result of seeing their net worth drop down, seeing their hopes and dreams shattered when they were on a path. All of a sudden there was a tornado, you know, that knocked them off their path. And many, many people, maybe you have been affected, seriously affected, and lost a little or a lot of your wealth. And with that possibly your confidence and your certainty as a result of the last recession. And it's either because you made some poor choices like I did, you poorly planned, or just sheer bad timing in another sense as well, is maybe you lack the knowledge or the skills to navigate through the recession. Maybe you lacked the emotional skills to lose whatever you lost or to see your net worth shrink. And then that got you sucked into a cycle of thinking negatively, feeling negatively, and behaving negatively. And a lot of people I saw when I was on Larry King eight times, people, people were so stuck on what they lost, they forgot to go into what I call the SOS mentality, the solutions oriented suggestions or solutions oriented skills that they need to have in order to navigate through the confusion of the economy, their mindset, and more importantly, their behavior. Now, what I found traveling all over the world, there are people, whether it's in South Africa, in Australia, in Alaska, in Asia, a lot of people are financially scared now. And more importantly, they don't think that they have enough time to catch up or get ahead as a result of what just occurred between 2008 and 2012 and 13. Now, an interesting statistic is that 84% of people between the ages of 30 and 50, 84% of people between the age of 30 and 50 don't believe that they will have enough money to retire based on what amount of income they're earning right now and looking at their investment and real estate portfolio. And so here's the question for you. Do you have enough money? Are you on the right path with your income and investments to be able to retire and live the life that you have imagined? All right, and you want to achieve, do you have enough right now and are you on the right path? Chances are, if you're like most people, you don't have enough and you don't have a plan. I'm going to talk to you a bit about that today. Fortunately for me and many of my clients and friends, we've started recovering from what we lost two, three, four years ago. And now we're applying the thinking strategies, which is number one and extremely critical, and number two, the strategies and tactics that are needed to recover all of our wealth beyond where we were before. And so we want to be able to teach that to you as well. And so in order to do that, while we're lifting ourselves into, you know, back to the levels we were and beyond, we want to lift as we climb. My friend Lisa says that all the time, and I love that. So as you climb, lift. And so my company has created this movement, this revolution that I want to share with you and I want you to be a part of. And the revolution is called the 20:2020 Revolution. We set a goal just a couple of weeks ago to be able to help 20,000 people become millionaires or multimillionaires who collectively donate $20 million by the year 2020. So we want to create a revolution of people who are serious, people who are committed and people who don't just want to get back to where they were. They want to move further ahead and they're prepared to listen and learn and apply and give back. If you want to be part of that group, I am now inviting you to be part of this global 202020 mission. To live your life on purpose, live your passion and most importantly, pay it forward once we show you how to do that. So if you're game, I would love for you, I've got my team that's on the computer right now. I love for you to, to type in that your game that you're willing to learn and do what it takes. And then once we teach you, you're able to pay it forward and hopefully we'll get a chance to meet and sign a declaration that you're willing to donate 1 to 10% of your additional income or net worth over the next six years by 2020 to the charities of your choice. Not my choice or my company's choice. Our goal is to donate many, many millions of our own money to the causes that really touch our team's hearts and souls. What we're asking people to do is just be a part of this and commit to the charities of your choice. So with that said, today, what I'm going to be doing is I'm going to be covering three key factors that you must have in order to retire early and retire rich. So I'm going to be covering three key factors over the next five weeks. Our other experts are going to share some amazing secrets with you. And they are all experts in their respective fields in real estate, in growing businesses, in investing in the stock market and investing in businesses. And so we're going to interview them every week starting next week where you can learn their strategies, their, their mindset, their skills and everything that you need to really get you started. And then hopefully you'll love what we do over the next six weeks. You will decide to join us live at our three day event, Money Squared, the Art and Science of Financial Success in San Diego on June 19th, 20th and 21st. And so we're going to give you a ton of amazing content and then we're going to ask you to come and join us and really learn for three days and immerse yourself and really be part of this vision and mission for 2020. So if you're ready right now to learn how to earn more either in your job, business or by investing wisely you can now make that decision. And more importantly, you can choose to live an amazing life and retire rich. And if that is you, then you are in the right place today. So Money Squared is all about knowing and doing the right things in the right order at the right time. Money Squared exponentially growing your income, your investments is about doing the right things in the right order at the right time for yourself and your family. And when I speak all over the world or the speech and teachers that I have as part of this series, as part of our live event, when we've done a research on our number of hours that we have gotten to become Experts, there's over 300,000 hours of expertise between us. So you're getting some world class experts to help you, alright? So pay close attention. The other thing that we noticed is we've invested, whether it's in real estate, in the stock market and growing businesses, millions and millions of dollars learning what to do, what not to do, how to recover, how to invest, how to protect our wealth. And what we want to do is transfer that knowledge to you so that you can have that right at your fingertips through practice and learning and becoming part of this. And so one of the speakers that will be here with us during this series is Sharon Lechter, who is an amazing cpa, one of the co founders of Rich Dad, Poor dad, the amazing book and series of Robert Kiyosaki. She was the CEO of that company and she is a trends expert. She'll be teaching you all about how to look for what are the upcoming trends. And that's like sitting in the water knowing when a wave is going to come so you can catch an amazing wave and have that great ride. Another individual that I'm bringing to you very, very few people have heard of, his name is Tom Marchicello. He, he is known as the Billionaire Whisperer. Now why is he known as that? Well, maybe because he advises 20 billionaires on where to invest their money in the market and in businesses. And he's got an amazing process for anybody who's looking to grow a business and his 40 point checklist that he'll be sharing. Another friend of mine that's going to be part of this series and at our live event as well is Karim Pirani and he is a hedge fund and options master. Now you may be thinking, what's a hedge fund? Hedge funds are funds that wealthy individuals invest in and usually they are run by extremely talented, some of the best of the best experts on how to choose the right stocks and Trends. And my friend Karim took as a test $10,000 and over five months documented his entire process so that people all over the world could watch him. And he made that $10,000 into over a million dollars in just over five months. He'll be sharing how to use options, okay? So that you can take $1,000 or $500 or $5,000 or whatever you choose and invested using options. Another friend of mine who was a client and then became a friend and now a real estate investment expert is Jay Massey. At one point he was homeless and now he has over 200 properties worth $14 million. And he's now coming out with his new book, and now he is teaching people how, how he did that, from homeless to multimillionaire. And so he's going to be sharing some very, very specific ways that you can invest in real estate, if that's what you want to do. So we'll be covering business, real estate, options, stock. And we couldn't be doing this service without also helping you get your mindset right around your stress, around your anxieties, around your fear, around your doubts, anything that may be holding you back. So my friend, Dr. Daniel Friedland is a board certified internal medicine expert and he is also a neuroscience expert, which, as you know, is one of my passions and fields of expertise. So he is going to be here as well over the course of the next five weeks to teach you what he's learned and he's taught all over the world. And then once this series is over, we're going to invite you to join us for three full days where you can collaborate with hundreds of people from around the world and here in San Diego, where we will teach you over three days everything you need to know to retire early and retire rich. And that means that you're going to get immersed in our way of thinking and behaving and learning from worldwide experts, including four more people, Jim Bunch, who is an expert at helping people manage their money because that's what he does for his clients. He doesn't manage everybody, he teaches them how to. And he's awesome at teaching you how to create the internal and external environments to create success. My friend Glenn Larson will be at the live event as well, and he is a stock trading expert. He creates some of the leading stock trading software for many experts on Wall Street. We've got Dina Dwyer Owens, who runs a 1600 franchise operation with $800 million a year in sales wide revenue or system wide revenue. And then our resident neuroscientist, Mark Waldman will be teaching the latest brain breakthroughs so you can really go deeper, okay, into your subconscious mind and release any of the things that are holding you back. And then lastly, we're going to have Dr. Jeffrey Fanon, who's one of the leading experts in the world on EEG and developing the brain waves of multi millionaires. And he's worked, I mean, all over the world. He's the CEO of the Cognitive Behavior Institute in Arizona. Brilliant individual. To help you with the mindset piece as well. So we've got people on mindset, we've got people on emotions, we've got people in real estate, the stock market, business, etc. And so we're going to go deeper into every one of these areas at our live event so that you can have the financial life that you want by focusing on your inner game as well as your outer game. And so let's continue. And I hope that this excites you as much as it excites me, because one of the things that I love is to skip the fluff and the baloney and the crap that's out there and give people the truth. And the truth means you're going to have to work a little bit and you're going to have to upgrade your knowledge and your skills. But what I can share with you, if you're committed to doing that, then we'll be able to show you a path for you to be able to retire early and retire rich. Now, you may want to start writing right now, because I'm going to talk about the three main problems that I see most people face when it comes to their finances and their retirement. And I'm going to get into them in detail in just a moment. But I want you to also know one thing. I wrote something up here on the wall over here. And what I wrote was 34% of people that were surveyed recently thought that they would have to work until they're 80 years old. They have to work until they're 80 years old or until they died. 34% of the people would have to. I don't want you to be one of them. So here's the first thing that you must start with in order to retire early and retire rich. Ready? Number one is the people that have a challenge right now lack the clarity and knowledge of what they really need, what they really, really need to live the life they truly want so they can retire properly. They don't know what they really need. They've never seen, sat down and really thought about what do I really need, in order to do that, I'm going to come back to that. I'm going to give you all three that I'm going to come back and talk about each three and what you need to do. All right, so number two is they don't have the right beliefs, what they think about money in themselves, and they don't have the right habits around earning their money and managing their money and investing their money. So they don't have the right beliefs, and they certainly don't have the right habits around earning, managing and investing their money. And most importantly, they lack the knowledge of what to do, when to do it, why do it, and how to do it. So they lack the fundamental knowledge. And their ignorance, which means not knowing, is keeping them stuck in a cycle of more of the same. So if you don't change what you're thinking, if you don't upgrade your knowledge, if you don't upgrade your skills, what I can predict without a shadow of a doubt is you're going to be in three years, in five years, in 10 years, in 20 years, just a little bit ahead of where you are, if you're lucky. If not, you're actually going to be going backwards. That's not what we want. We want you to move forward with confidence and with certain uncertainty. Number three of what I've noticed is very, very few people have a reliable plan that suggests and shows them. Here's where I'm at, here's where I want to get to, and here are the steps that I need to take. Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. There's no plan. And if there's no plan, then how will you ever get there? Are you using hope as your strategy? Are you using prayer as your strategy? Because hope and prayer are wonderful, but it's not going to get you to retiring early and retiring rich. It's going to get you somewhere and you may even feel good about it. But what I can guarantee you is it will not help you achieve the goals and the dreams that you have for yourself and the way you want to live your life when you decide to maybe slow down from working as much as you do, whether it's a job or a business. Now, I want you to imagine this for just a moment and play along with me. Imagine you get to your retirement age, whatever that is for you, and you have to rely on the government to help you. Social Security will help you, or the money, depending on where you are in the world. In Australia, for example, where a piece of your check has been taken Every month. If you have to rely on the government to give you your Social Security, is that safe and secure in today's environment and what's happening with governments all over the world? Absolutely, positively no. Don't put your retirement and your lifestyle in the hands of the government. Claim your own life and make a decision today that you are going to own your own decisions and your own retirement. Another thing that you may want to imagine is, what if your children, if you have any or close friends, okay there, and they need to support you. I can share with you, and I will, in just a moment, the story of my own parents and a cause for some of their embarrassment right now. In their early 80s. If you had to rely on your children, okay, if you had to rely on your children right now, how would that make you feel? It wouldn't make me feel great, that I can tell you. And so ask yourself, if you had children, okay, how would they feel having to take care of you? And the answer is probably if they're good kids, they'd want to. But things are getting tougher and tougher and tougher, even for our kids right now. And so how do you think that would make them feel? Another question I'd be asking is, what if the government is broken? That doesn't feel very great. That doesn't feel like a smart solution for me. For me, relying on my kids or relying on the government is a nightmare of an idea for me. I can't stand the idea of having to rely on somebody else and pulling my purse strings and tell me what I can do or can't do when I could do it when I can't. I want my independence, and I want to be able to have more than enough money for myself. And I want to be the one helping, not the one asking for help. I want to put a hand out, not give, you know, people that don't deserve my money. And so I want to give a hand up, not a hand out, and I can share with you. My own parents are in their early 80s, and my father was a cab driver. My mother worked a local department store. And they never thought about their future. Everything they did was about today. And in retrospect, in speaking to both of them, they wish that they would have taken 2 or 3 or 4 or 5% out of everything that they owned and invested it somewhere where they wouldn't have missed it. And I can tell you that there are times when I speak to my father or my mother and they're embarrassed to tell me that they need more money than what we're providing them already. And so I was very, very fortunate that back in the early 1980s, I met a gentleman by the name of Alan Brown who became my mentor. And one of the things that he asked me that some of you may have heard me share before, is this question. He asked me, said, john, are you interested in becoming wealthy or are you committed? Are you interested or are you committed? And when I said to him, I didn't know what he meant. He said, well, if you're interested, you'll do what's convenient. If you are committed, you'll learn and do whatever it takes. And so let me ask you that question. Are you interested in retiring early and retiring rich, or are you committed to learning how to retire early and retire rich? Because you making that decision right now, how does that make you feel when you say, I commit to that? If you say, I commit to that? Okay. How does that make you feel when you commit to that? All right. If you have committed to it, then you will start to feel in control. You will start to look for things that will help you achieve that. If you're interested, here's what's going to happen. You'll make up excuses, excuses, stories, and you'll come with all the reasons why you can't. You'll either say to yourself, you know, my job won't pay me enough. I don't have enough to invest, My lifestyle costs too much. The recession, you know, is still happening where I live. I don't know what to do. Once you make a commitment, then you look for every option to make that a reality. Instead of excuses, your brain can only focus on one thing at a time. So when you make a commitment, guess what your brain focuses on? You've got a GPS, like a global positioning system in your brain that when you make that commitment, you're telling your brain to help you find solutions to that. And so if you truly want to follow the path of commitment, to follow the path of doing whatever it takes that's honest and with integrity, then I'm going to give you some steps that you must take right now to make that a reality instead of just a hope or a dream. And I'm going to leave you with this thought as I give you some of these steps. If you fail to plan, if you fail to plan, you are naturally planning to fail. If you fail to plan, starting today, you are naturally planning to fail. So, number one, this is the way it has to start for everybody who is serious about being part of the 20, 20, 20 vision. 20,000 millionaires. 20,000 millionaires giving $20 million away by 2020. So, number one, I want you to start with a clear vision of exactly what your life would be like the day you retire. On your choice. Your choice. All right? I want you to know, tell me exactly what your life will be like, okay? On your terms, the day that you retire. So I want you to write it down so that you have a clear picture. So. So if you gave that picture to somebody that was next to you, a friend, a family, somebody you love, anybody that you wanted to get your vision into their head, they would be able to read it, and they would know what age you want to retire at. So do you want to retire at age 50? 55? 60? 65, 70? 75? 80, 90? What age do you want to retire so that you can do the things that you want to do? What? I want you to write down this vision in absolute detail. And you may ask, why do you want me to write this down in absolute detail? Well, a couple of reasons. When you write it down, you send a signal to your brain. And when you repeat reading that, visualizing that, emotionalizing it, you start to develop a neural pattern in your brain, and you start to prime your brain. It's called cognitive priming. You start to prime the neural pathways in your brain, the software in your brain of that image. And every time you look at that image, you activate not just your brain's genius, but 100 trillion cells in your body. So what age do you want to retire at? How long do you expect to live? Now, I know that's a little bit of a crazy question, but I expect to live at least until I'm 100. And as a result of putting that in writing, I've started to exercise more, I've started to eat a pure vegan diet, gave up sugar, gave up caffeine, gave up alcohol, in order to make that more of a reality than just a hope and dream. But I've got very, very specific goals and vision and plans to do that. The third thing that I want you to do as part of this vision is I want you to ask yourself, what kind of lifestyle do you want to live? What kind of lifestyle do you want to live? Do you want to live an average lifestyle, a mediocre lifestyle, a gangbusters, Travel around the world, have fun, you know, go to different places, give to the charities of your choice, time and money? Why not start with what you want instead of looking at your current circumstances and letting your current circumstances dictate what the possibility or probability is as soon as you look at what is, your brain is not focused on what can be. As soon as you look at what is, then your brain shuts out all of the other possibilities for you. Because your brain is a goal seeking machine. And it will focus you and your emotions and your behaviors towards that which you see clearly in your mind. And so you start by writing this all down, perfectly precise, precisely, and then you start to look at it every single day. And you pretend you're a Hollywood actor or actress. And you pretend as if you're already living that in your own mind. And what happens over 30, 60, 90 days, 120 days, you start to see things that are opportunities. You become more creative, you become more positive. You start to act in ways that are in alignment with your goals and your vision and your dreams. And today, even though you may be retiring, Whether it's in five years or 10 or 20 or 30, it doesn't matter. So you start with the internal image first, and then you project that out into the real world, I should repeat that, real world instead of real world, real world. And your brain starts to act with genius intention. And as you give it the attention towards that, you start to meet people, you start to do things, you start to resonate and vibrate in direct proportion to that goal and vision that you want to achieve without starting with the vision you are hoping and praying that that might happen. And so you start off with the clarity, the precision of clarity that becomes your bullseye from today going forward. And I want you to look at that document every single day for three to five minutes, type it out, laminate it, and run your fingers across it as you read it every morning. And before you go to bed, close your eyes and feel and act and pretend as if you've already achieved it. Now you might think, well, what is that going to do? Everything. Every time you repeat seeing something, emotionalizing it, feeling it, pretending that you're there, you are strengthening the software of your brain. And something magical happens between 30, 60, and 90 days is it goes from being a hope and a wish and a dream, and it goes from being a conscious thing that you wrote out, and it starts to get impressed into your unconscious brain. And when you impress something into your unconscious brain, it starts to figure things out for you that you're not even consciously aware of. If you're into the law of attraction or the law of resonance, as I like to call, starts to put you into this vibration, just like tuning into a radio station, okay? Every day your Favorite radio station, you start to do that automatically. So write down everything that you want to do, be, have, contribute into this document. How many trips do you want to take? Where do you want to take it? What will your health be like upon the day that you retire? Where would you love to live? What charities? If you were retired right now and you had enough money to do what you wanted to do, what charities would you support with your time and or money? How will you live your life? Are you going to live your life based on scarcity, based on just being secure? Or do you want to live a life of significance where you have more than enough to add more purpose, more value into your life? Now this is so important because whatever it is that you focus on is what you are actually going to see. Most people think that they see the world as it is, and that's the furthest thing from the truth. Your brain is actually projecting onto the world, the canvas, everything that is wired or conditioned in your brain. So why not get your brain's GPS system to work effectively? Why not every single day, look at those goals, pretend they're real. Yes, pretend they're real. You got to fake it till you make it initially, until your brain takes over that goal. It becomes part of your unconscious mind and it gets you to start to focus like a laser on what it is you want to achieve. It starts to make the difficult things easy. It starts to make the easy things absolutely laser focused fast for you. And so you've got to focus on the clarity of what you want. And once you do that, you're going to be able to every single day, get up, have purpose, have meaning, have clarity. And that will get you moving towards your goal. And what we're looking for is progress daily, not perfection. Progress daily, not perfection. You all know that you should be exercising, whether it's walking, whether it's biking, whether it's a hike, whether it's a yoga class, whatever it is you know that's good for your body. Well, what about daily inner sizing? What about every day? Give yourself the time, the respect and the clarity of vision and purpose to get you to focus on what you want. Instead of the news that's usually horrific or, you know, the recession or what's not working. You could learn through cognitive priming, priming your brain to focus on what you want, to be aware of what's not well or working, but to focus on what you want and choose to invest your time on what you want instead of what you don't want. What's Possible instead of what's impossible, what is your destiny? Because you've made a choice and you can use hope and prayer on top of that. Once you get that clarity in your favor, that is just step number one. Number two, in order to retire early and retire rich, one of the things you have to do, and this is a non negotiable step, you have to upgrade your beliefs and your habits around your self worth and around money. I'm going to repeat that this is non negotiable. You have to re upgrade your beliefs and habits around your self worth, how much you think you're worth and your habits. Now why do I say that you don't earn what you are capable of earning? Not because it's not possible. You're not earning what you're capable of earning because you are not thinking about it every day at a conscious and unconscious level. You are not emotionalizing earning at that level. And I guarantee you, you are not doing the same things that somebody who earns five or ten times more than you do does every day. And so in order to increase your net worth, you have to first increase your self worth. How much are you worth? Because what happens when you over over achieve past your own self worth? You will start to sabotage your success. If you don't believe me, think about this. How come over 80% of people who win the lottery lose it within three years? And not only do they lose it, they say it's the worst experience of their life. And the answer is when your outside world of results doesn't match with your internal self image and expectation, you will sabotage the outside world until you have resonance, until your outside world and inner world match. Anytime it's out of balance, your inner world will win. And you will sabotage income that you make, investments that you make, success that you've had, your business growth that you've had, or anything else. And so as you are earning more money through whether it's work or a business or investments, you have to raise your expectancy level in your brain and your self worth so you don't sabotage it. The other part that is critical to understand is you and I, everybody on the planet becomes habituated to certain habit patterns. We become habituated to certain habit patterns of how we think, how we, how we feel, the meaning we give things. And we are creatures of habit. So we repeat the patterns every single day. Now you may say, well, I know that. But what you may not know is that from a neuroscience perspective is called automaticity. Automaticity. What automaticity means is that Once you repeat a thinking pattern or an emotional pattern or a behavioral pattern, thinking emotional or behavioral pattern over and over again for a day, three days, five days, a week, a month, three months, your brain, okay, the part of your brain that consciously takes that action and thought and emotion initially turns it over to another part of your brain that makes it automatic so you don't have to think about it anymore and you become a creature of habit. Why do you think it's so hard for people to break habits? It doesn't matter if it's breaking a habit to bite your nails, or breaking a habit to eat desserts, or breaking a habit to drink caffeine, or breaking a habit to drink alcohol, or breaking a habit to save 5% of your income versus buying something that you may or may not need. So your habits and your beliefs are a critical factor for you to be able to make the switch on the inside to, to raise your level of self awareness and self worth so that you can augment your software. And so here's a question for you, and I want to make sure that you answer this honestly. What beliefs do you have right now about how much income you think you can earn in one year? What do you believe you can earn in one year? So write that down. You don't have to tell me or anybody else, but you have a belief of what you think you can earn or what you think you're worth. Okay? At a conscious level. Now here's what I would like you to do. Write down a number next to that of how much is the most you have ever earned, okay, in the last, let's say five years or seven years or 10 years. Now for most people, what they said that they believe that they could earn and what they, you know, and what they have earned, there's a gap there and there's two things to be aware of there. What you think you can earn is a conscious way of thinking. And then you think, I can earn 100,000, 150,000 or 75,000 or a million. That is your conscious mind saying, I think I can earn this. But if you were able to earn that amount of money right now, you already would be earning that. Because all of your earning right now is based on your self worth, your beliefs and your habits and your emotions that cause you to behave or not behave a certain way. And so that's why I say you must, and this is non negotiable. You've got to change your beliefs and habits to match the amount of income you want to make the amount of net worth you want to have. And you've got to raise your level of deservability to be able to make your number one vision and goal and clarity that you were going to write down a reality instead of just a hope and dream. And so do you believe that right now you are smart enough and worthy of retiring rich? Not retiring average, not eking by or squeaking by retiring rich. Because if you don't believe that you are, or you don't believe that it's possible based on your current situation, what do you think your brain is going to do? Do you think it's going to make that a reality? Or do you think it's going to trick you and show you that it can do it? For 99.99% of the people, whatever you believe is what you will feel and whatever you feel is going to dictate your behaviors. And so if you don't believe that you're smart enough or worthy enough or you're skilled enough to retire rich, that is going to be one of the foundational pieces that you have to learn how to overcome order to retire early and retire rich. And then here's another question you have to answer. Not to me, to yourself. Do you think you have the right habits right now around money? And specifically, do you think you have the right habits about your earning, your management, your investing, and your protection of your assets? Because most people that I find don't have the right habits. They don't have the fundamental habits that will help them retire the way they want to retire. Everybody that I talk to about their finances, I talk to them about something called a financial thermostat. And so a financial thermostat, a threshold of what you feel comfortable achieving and having. So if you think about Oprah Winfrey, if you think about Donald Trump, think about Richard Branson, think about anybody who has wealth. If you took away their wealth, they'd still be left with the beliefs, the habits, the skills, the knowledge, the know how, the contact, the support to be able to regain a lot of that wealth. Again, why? Because their financial thermostat is set at a certain earning point and a certain net worth point. And anything that's below that financial set point is going to kick into gear. A way of thinking, a way of emotionalizing, and more importantly, way of behaving so that they raise their level back to what's normal. No differently than how a thermostat works. Anytime there's too much hot air or too much cold air in a room, the Thermostat has a sensor on it. That sensor picks up any deviation, high or low, from the programming. And depending on what type of air is coming into the room, either the heat comes on or cold air comes on. Well, what if I shared with you that anytime you're above your self worth thermostat, or your income thermostat, or your business growth thermostat, or your net worth thermostat, you will figure out a way to sabotage it until you get back to the level of your financial thermostat. If you lose money as a result of recession or bad decision or slow business times, whatever the case is, you will work on overdrive to get back to what you are used to, that is the financial thermostat. And so you've got to really understand that you're in control of it. I'm not. I could just guide you and teach you and show you how to do that. But it's your brain, your thermostat, and you're responsible for it. And so like I said earlier, either you're interested or you're committed to. Let me move on to number three because this is again a very cohesive part of retiring early and retiring rich. And I have discussions about money and investments and people's futures all over the world, as you can imagine. And one of the things that shows up in I would say 98% of the people that I talk to is they have no plan for their financial future. They have no plan of where they are except, you know, verbally. They kind of sort of know where they're at, but they have no plan of what they need to do to increase their current income or revenue. Many people don't balance their short term gratification. The stuff that they want to buy right now, the big screen tv, the dress, the pair of shoes, the stuff that Maybe just cost $50 or $100 or $500 or $1,000. They don't balance the short term gratification for very much. Long term safety, certainty and security, they don't balance that. They act on emotion without a guidance system to be able to say, should I do this or shouldn't I? What's the short term benefit versus the long term benefit? And they don't have a system by which to gauge, you know, how much they could arbitrarily spend. There isn't any plan in place that gives them any guidance. And they're totally into gratification right now. Now I'm all for gratification right now, but I'M also for being smart. I'm also for protecting your fun and your experiences today through some gratification, but also planning for tomorrow. And when you're smart and you learn how to leverage your money so that your money is working for you, then whatever investment you have is working for you, then you're starting to be smart about how you're going to retire early and retire rich. So one of the things you have to get better at if you're serious about retiring early, is you've got to learn how to manage your existing cash flow that's coming in right now. And it doesn't matter if you're making $500 a month or $1,000 a month, or 10,000 or $100,000 a month, or a million dollars a month. Most of my very wealthy friends and the ones that I know will retire early and retire rich. They have a management plan. They know that if $10,000 comes in or $5,000 comes in, they know how much goes to housing, how much goes for gas, how much goes, you know, to their kids education, how much goes to charities. They know their numbers. And when we start to show people how most of them are living beyond their means and they don't have any type of a management plan for their incoming money, most of them realize, oh my God, you know, I really don't need this. Let's take that away. I really don't need that. Let's take that away. When you start to look at what you're actually doing, you start to get smaller, smarter about what you're doing. And if you want to get smarter, guess what, you have to make a conscious choice to get smarter. So you've got to have a money management plan for the income you've got coming in. The second thing you've got to do is you've got to have a spending plan. Now what's a spending plan? Well, a spending plan is part of your management plan, but it allocates certain amounts of money based on what you've got coming in on a regular basis or irregular basis in order to be able to keep you on a plan, on a journey, on a predictable path that takes some self discipline. And this is where you have to give up some of your short term gratification at times. Four, the longer term gratification of retiring early and retiring rich and included in your spending plan. You've got to decide, how am I going to take the debt that I have, Whether it's credit card debt, real estate debt, personal debt, school debt, whatever debt you have. And how do I start knocking off some of that debt? And if you don't have a plan for debt reduction, what most people do is, is they think in big chunks. And big chunks works when you have big chunks coming in. But one of the things that's most important, remember I talked about the beliefs and the habits. If you have a belief that when you have a big chunk come in, you'll pay a big chunk off, in most cases, that never happens. But if you develop a little habit, a little habit to say, I'm going to take 1%, 2%, $50, $25, $500, $1,000, whatever the number is, out of every check that I get, and I'm going to pay down my debt starting today, and I create an investment plan and a management plan where I could take a little bit and pay off debt a little bit towards an investment. Then now you're developing a belief that you can manage. Now you're developing a habit. And guess what? The habit is more important than anything else. And when we help our clients and our friends just get on a couple of These points, in 3 months, 6 months, 10 months, 12 months, everything starts to change in their lives. And so this is part of it. There's one more piece to this that's absolutely critical. And you may have never heard of this before, but it's what we call is a plan for stickability. A plan for stickability. Now, what's a plan for stickability? We know based on the latest brain research that most people who set goals do so with utmost intentions and love and care and desire to stick to those goals. However, we also know that habits are very hard to break unless you understand how to break the habits. And so if you have a debt reduction plan, a savings plan, a money management plan, all right, then you have a stickability plan. And a stickability plan is simply this, when situations come up that causes you to emotionally really want to not do what you've already set out to do. How will you overcome that? And part of a stickability plan is called pre commitment planning. Pre commitment planning. So pre commitment plan would go like this. Let's say you're at a restaurant and you see a bottle of wine that you really want to have that's $20 or $50 more than you would normally spend, and you've already had a cocktail. And so your level of wanting to have some more fun is high and your level of discipline is low. What will you do when that emotion is so strong you want to buy that bottle of wine or that pair of slacks or that trip or that big screen TV or new tires for your car, or fill in the blank. Something that will give you gratification in the moment versus sticking to your plan. So when you create a pre commitment document, when this happens, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to pre commit to a stickability plan. And then you carry that on a three by five card in your pocket and then you just pull it out. And since you've made the pre commitment, you will be 10 times more likely not to emotionally get off of your plan. And you'll be much more likely to override this feeling for just a few moments until the feeling goes away and you're back into your logical, smart brain and you are making a smarter decision. Because when you make a few destructive or unwise decision over and over and over and over again, it ends up in disaster over a long enough period of time. When you make smart, wise, small decisions every day, every week, every month, it leads to compounding great results and a habit that'll be easier for you to maintain so that you really can retire rich and retire or retire early and retire rich. And that's the whole goal. And so the, the other part of this entire process is not just to learn how to make more, manage better invest. You have to learn how to protect your assets. And there are legal ways to protect your home, your business assets. There are smart ways to protect your stock portfolios, okay, through stop losses. And I could tell you that I didn't have a stop loss on one of my investments and lost a fortune by not having a stop loss. My mistake, my stupidity. I take full responsibility for that. But guess what? You don't have to make those mistakes. Most people that I meet around the world do not have a solid retirement plan. And to be honest with you, they're ignorant on what they really need to retire happy and have enough money that will last until they die. And what holds most people back is not that they're not smart. It's not a lack of intelligence. It's their fears about what might happen. It's the doubts that they have. If you think about why people have doubts and fears, the reason is they're either lacking the knowledge, they're lacking the skills, they're, they're lacking the contacts that they need in order to help them, and they're lacking the support that they need in order to help them make smart decisions. And so if you are like most people, you've probably never figured out something that I call is the gap. And it's incredibly important for you to understand, you know, what your own personal gap is. And so let's say you're a 50 year old man or woman, or 40 years old, or 30, or 55 or 60. And let's say that you have a net worth right now of $500,000. And let's say you have a combined annual household income of $100,000. If you took the taxes off of that and you took the amount of money it cost you to live, let's assume that you can invest, okay? Or you could save, you know, 30 or $40,000 a year or $50,000 a year if you're lucky, okay? Most people with $100,000 income would have a hard pressed time to save this much. But let's say, okay, that you had a $500,000 net worth, okay? And you realize that in order for you to retire the way that you would love to retire, you need a million and a half dollars, okay, in your assets in order to live either off of the income, okay, that it spits out, because some of it's going to be investment income, whether it's rental real estate, you know, stock, gold, bonds, jewels, art, or whatever the case might be, which you can't monetize unless you're renting it out. But let's say you realize right now that there's a million dollar gap between where you are today and when you're going to need to retire. And I tried to make this scenario really simple for you. And I know that there's inflation and I know that you've got to take the money that you invest and calculate it into this. So I know all of that. But I want you to just get the thinking of what you need to do in order to really bridge this gap. So let's say you've got a good salary or even if you don't, either way there's going to be a gap between where you are and where you want to be. And your job is to figure out how am I going to bridge that gap so that there is certainty and there is confidence in yourself in order to be able to do that. So between, you know, your clarity, between learning how to earn, manage investors, protect your wealth, you've got to figure out what the gap is so that you can bridge that gap with other forms of leverageable means. Whether it's real estate, the stock market, bonds, commodities, whatever it is that you're going to fill your gap with has to be something that you are passionate about. Now why do I say that? I say that because I see so many people investing in businesses that they have no business investing in. Or they read something in the newspaper and they go, oh, that looks great, I'm going to invest in that. Or, you know, they decide to start their own business and they have no idea of all of the sales, marketing, management, finance, legal operations, customer service, product development that goes into building a business. And that's why 85% of businesses owners fail. It's not because they're not smarter, they don't have passion. It's because there's a lot of complexity to investing in the market, to investing in options, to investing in commodities, to buying and selling real estate, to developing real estate, to buying, you know, commercial real estate or fixer uppers. Every thinks that it's really easy. I'm just going to go and do that. You. And they spend 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 50, hundreds of thousands of dollars being totally ignorant and getting hit by a bus and they wonder what the hell happened. When we look at what they did, they were totally out of their element, out of their passion and they were totally out of their comfort zone where they shouldn't have been investing in those things. And so I want to bring to you an amazing group of people that I trust and, and know that are brilliant at what they do. Most of the people that I work with aren't speakers, they're not traveling the world, you know, teaching off the stage, trying to sell their wares off the stage. They are doing this for themselves. They are passionate about helping their friends and family. And so if you're now ready to take control of your financial life and ensure that you retire early and retire rich. Alright then I'd like to invite you to the wealth building super summit of 2014. And you'll be invited in 2015 and 16 and 17 and 18 and 19 and 20 as well. And that is the money squared, the art and science of financial success. And so instead of being worried or fearful or hoping and praying you're going to gain the knowledge and the skills and the certificates that you need to go from where you are to where you want to be. And I want you to imagine this. What would it be like for you to really be in financial control of your destiny? What would it be like for you to really know that you can have financial freedom? Because that is our goal. Remember 2020 2020,000 millionaires or multi millionaires by 2020 who will collectively give $20 million to charities that works out to about $10,000 per person. But just think of the significance that'll give you and the significance it will give people who we donate to. And this will be your choice. You just have to agree that if we share with you what we know and we've got an amazing lineup, you just want to be a part of this revolution. So the Money Squared Event is a 3 day from 8 o' clock to probably about 8 o' clock every day Experiential event where first and foremost, you're going to learn how to think like a millionaire or multimillionaire. We're going to teach you what you need to do, when you need to do it, why you need to do it, and how you need to do it. And basically, you're going to learn the strategies, the tactics and the skills from individuals that are doing it right now, not people who are out there, you know, selling their wares. These are personal friends of mine who are doing it right now. So on day one, we're going to help you with the mindset part of retiree early and retiree rich. We're going to help you create what we call our smart goals, which are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. Those are smart goals. Specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. And we're going to help you create this for goals for all aspects of your financial life. The other thing that's really critical when you want your brain to work for you is to uncover your big why. See, because if you uncover your big purpose and your vision and your mission in your life that gives you the most amount of purpose and meaning, you'll do what it takes. You'll learn what you need to learn, and you'll overcome the challenges. You'll do the things that you need to do every day, every week, every month. And when there are setbacks, you'll have a comeback. And that's what you want. If your why is big enough, what you need to do and how you need to do it, that will become easier. Number three, we're going to help you create what we call as a crap board. Now, let me explain what a crap board is, because you probably know me from the movie the Secret. Creating vision boards of what you want. But a crap board is critical for you in this sense. Crap is going to help you recognize the things that are holding you back. Okay? Whatever conflicts you have right now, either in your inner life or external life, will help you uncover that and teach you how to overcome it. Whatever you are resisting is the R. We're Going to help you identify, okay, what is causing the resistance. And our neuroscientists will give you tool after tool, strategy after strategy to overcome any resistance you've got. The A in CRAP stands for anxiety. What is it that's causing your anxiety? Is it your present circumstances? Is it your, you know, future possibilities of not having enough? What's causing you any anxieties? We'll teach you how to overcome anxieties, doubts, fears, lack of confidence, lack of certainty. In the first day, it'll be myself and three world renowned brain researchers and scientists that'll give you an entire day to master your mindset. The P in CRAP stands for problems. And everybody has problems. The key is people with problems who focus on problems end up with more problems. The key with people have problems who release and remove themselves from those problems, focus on solutions. So we'll teach you several different methodologies to uncover your crap and release those so that you get your mindset right. On day number two, we're going to teach you. My friend Tom Marchicello is going to teach you about how the billionaires that he advises. 20 billionaires, how do they think, how do they strategize, how did they make a decision what business to invest in? He's got a 40 point checklist that he will give you to evaluate investments that his billionaire clients use that is worth tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousand dollars just for that 40 point checklist and blueprint. The other thing that you'll learn on day two is with just Jay Massey. If you recall earlier I suggested and told you that he went from homeless to multimillionaire. He's amassed a 14 million dollar real estate portfolio in the last six years and he's going to be teaching you how to raise private capital, other people's money for your business or for real estate investments, basically using his formula he's used the last six years. The other thing that he's going to teach you is how you can grow your real estate net worth faster than you ever realize while taking less risk than you ever imagined using other people's money and his process. That's day two. On day number three, we're going to be focusing on earning more money that I'm going to be focusing on investing your money, okay, either in options or the stock market or in businesses as well because we've got several experts there and how do you think about protecting your hard earned money? So on day three, we're going to teach you the insider secrets to make more, invest smarter and manage and protect better so that you keep yourself ahead of the game. And we've got an amazing lineup that I'll go through in just a moment again. And we're going to teach you the three smartest ways to grow any business. Even after I closed my last business in 2011, I went ahead and opened up another business and generated millions of dollars in the last three years by applying the three smartest ways to grow any business. And I've helped numerous other business owners double, triple, quintuple their incomes in the last several years. The other thing that we're going to do with Jim Bunch is teach you how to properly manage your current income so you reduce your debt much faster than ever before and you increase your net worth and more importantly, your disposable income. One of the gentlemen that's going to be teaching you is Karim Pirani. He's a friend of mine who's a hedge fund expert that specializes in options. And just recently, a few days ago, he sent me several testimonials from clients of his. Or actually, they're not even clients. They're people that are just following his advice. And you could probably read this right now. Dr. Wayne L. From Solana beach in California says, I started only one month ago investing based upon the knowledge I've gained from talking with Kareem. In that one month, my investment has grown more than 250%. Not bad for a start. And for one month now, Kareem is the guy that I shared with you, okay, that took $10,000 and turned it into a million. In five months, he's going to be teaching you exactly what he did, and he's going to be teaching you exactly what you can do to use options as a way to take $1000 or $2000 or $5000 and invest it smartly and protect yourself. Now, I want to make sure you understand I'm not suggesting that you're going to become a millionaire in five months, and I'm not suggesting you're going to get 500 or 600 or 300, 200% return on investment. But what I am suggesting is that when you upgrade your knowledge and your skills and you follow what brilliant genius people are doing, chances are you can gain much higher returns than if you were to do it alone without their help. Here's another testimonial from one of Kareem's followers. Says, I started following Kareem roughly one month ago, which I've pretty much mimicked your trades from that point, but I am up 3 420%. Thank you. That's from somebody SPAC in San Diego as well. Now, one of the clients that I've worked with for a year, his name is Arif Balagam. And he wrote me that our training has literally transformed his dental practice revenue for the first quarter 2014 by over 34% over the first quarter last year. And his profits went up over 200% in the same period of time, March of this year, he invested $5,700 in some marketing that we taught him and he collected over $130,000 in income as a result of investing 5,700. And then he said this month, okay, and this was just a couple of weeks ago, he sent me this. He said this month we are adding mobile and we could cross over $150,000, doubling his revenue. And so these are types of returns that you can see when you start to work with us and when you decide to attend Money Squared. And we're going to focus on you and your beliefs and your habits. We're going to focus on upgrading your knowledge and your skills. We're going to focus on teaching you how to upgrade your income and teach you about investments, which is going to raise your confidence level and your certainty, which will then allow you to retire early and retire, which and live the lifestyle of your dreams. And so let me share with you about the Money Squared event. I'm going to share with you a way for you to make a decision right now to join us. Every single day. My team is in there. Our neuroscience expert is in there, Mark Waldman. That is a $997 program. I'm also going to give you something that we just added in the last couple of months. And, and that's the Advanced Insights personality assessment. The value of that is $500. And it's a personality assessment that will teach you, you know, who you are, what values you have, what propensities do you have. Are you a driver? Are you more of a systems person? Are you more of a person that is social? It'll teach you all about your personality. We've taken Three different personality tests. Put them into one test, and we'll also give you a video that will teach you how to utilize the personality profile to your advantage so you know more about yourself and what you should be doing. The other thing that I put together is a video training program with Dr. Srinivasan Pillai from Harvard. And he was one of our most unbelievable speakers at one of our past Money Squared events. So he took the videos from that. And Srini is a brilliant psychiatrist and brain scan imaging expert. So you're going to get as a bonus this video series, which is about three hours long, also worth $500. So the total value of this Money Squared event special is $4,492. And when you choose to attend right now, I'm going to give you all of that. And your Investment is only $997 for all three days, including all the bonuses. And I will tell you, the price is going up in the next 10 days. And so we're only selling a certain number of tickets in 997. Then it's going to go up to 1297, then 1497. Then it's going to go up to full price at 2495. So that's for the general admission ticket. If you really want to have an even bigger, better, deeper experience, you can have the VIP experience and special. The VIP ticket, okay, is $2,995, all right? So the total value of this package is just under $5,000. And when you choose a VIP ticket, there's only going to be 100 VIP tickets sold. Before the prices go up and before the hotel is sold out, which has happened two years in a row, I want you to take a moment and ask yourself this question. What would it feel like to have unshakable confidence and certainty that you have what it takes, the knowledge, the skills, the beliefs, the habits, the confidence and certainty to retire early and retire rich? Would that give you hope? Would that give you a feeling that you can do it and actually live your life even better than you have up until now? What would it be like to have more than enough money for your own retirement? What would it feel like not to rely on others to take care of you? I don't want you to pretend that that's not going to happen to you because most people get to retirement age, never thought they would be there. Okay, in that situation. And so what would it feel like not to rely on others to take care of you? What would it feel like for you to be able to live life on your own terms? What would it feel like your investment is just under $1,000 or $1,500 and you are going to get immersed, okay, in a group of people from around the world that are coming in for this and Experts with over 300,000 hours of expertise and millions of dollars investments that they're going to share with you in one three day period, June 19th, 20th and 21st. So what would it be worth to you to acquire and have the knowledge and the skills so you can make the right financial decisions and choices? For yourself and your family. And more importantly, to finally have a place plan and the security which will give you peace of mind that comes with having personal and financial power. I can share with you that you're going to learn millions of dollars worth, okay, of information, skills, strategies and tactics for one purpose alone to put you back in your driver's seat and control your own financial destiny. Yes, you can get help and expertise and support, okay, from people who care, for people who are smart, and for people who want to give and lift as they climb. And so I want you to make a decision to be at the event, all right? Don't sit on the fence. Make a decision and be there. Your investment for your general ticket, including all of the bonuses, all right? Guess what? It's never happened. And that's because we deliver amazing content and amazing individuals. Chances are you haven't heard of any of these individuals that I'm bringing to you. And. And that's by design, I'm bringing you the underground individuals. What I mean by that is people that the average person just doesn't know. There are people that I associate with. There are people that are advising billionaires and multimillionaires and doing it for themselves. And so you're going to get access where you've never been able to have access like this before to this group of people in one location. And so if you're thinking you want to come, click on that button and reserve either the regular ticket or the VIP ticket, you can make that decision right now. If you're thinking that you don't have the time or you don't have the money, I'm going to suggest to you that you can't afford not to be there if you don't have the time, you need to figure out how to make more time. And having more wealth gives you more time and discretionary income. If you're thinking that it costs too much, you're thinking of scarcity versus abundance. What costs too much is not having enough money. What costs too much is not knowing how to fill that gap. What costs too much is ignorance. Investing in your knowledge and skills and upgrading what you should do, when you should do it, how you should do it, learning from experts who are doing it right now, that's an investment in you. The other question you might be asked is, will it work for you? And the answer is, that depends on you. If I give you a recipe for the most amazing Italian dish or steak or dessert in the world, but you don't go ahead and take action, where are you going to blame? Or who or what are you going to blame? It has to be you. If you're looking to really make a quantum leap in your finances and in your financial life, and you put what we teach you to work, it will work for you. And if you're asking how long will it take and what results can you expect? Well, that depends. All right? How long it takes will depend on how much you need to learn and how quickly you're willing to apply. And I'll share something with you that Jim Bunch just shared with me today from one of his clients. And he said, as a business owner, Jim Bunch challenged me, look what inspires me and what expires me about my life and business. We have grown from 30 to 90 employees and from 3 million to 9 million in one year because of these shifts. And that's from Ron Harrell, who's the CEO of his own company. All right? And so that's what's possible. Another testimonial. All right. Is this. Within three weeks I had a wealth team put together help me see opportunities and resources I hadn't paid attention to. I had nearly $200,000 in home equity that I was able to invest and diversify and is now growing at over $8,000 a year. I'm now on track for assets of $2.3 million. I can see how exciting the rat race is finally possible. One of my clients that I was with just last week, Deb Erickson, who's a coach specifically helping women break through any of the challenges they have gave this to me, said a result of following your business growth process, I've doubled the number of women clients I serve and my income has gone from 500,000 to over a million in the last 12 months. Thanks, John.
