John Assaraf delivers a short spoken tip arguing that people are often busy but not effective. He recommends periodically slowing down to organize and prioritize "must-do" tasks, placing the most important items into daily/weekly/monthly calendars, and thereby converting activity into productivity to increase success, happiness, health, income, and fulfillment.

Hey, this is John Assaraf. And today's tip for you is about something I call slowing down to pick up momentum or to going faster. What does that mean? Whenever I work with my private clients or with individuals around the world and I observe, you know, what they do all day long, everybody's busy. If you think about yourself, you're probably busy from morning until night, whether it's family, kids, yourself, your hobbies, things that you want to do, your business, your job. And you're busy doing, doing, doing, doing. And what I find is most people are busy, but they're not effective. They're being active but not productive. And so one of the things that I teach and I do myself is I go through a process, process of slowing down so that I can gain momentum. And what does that mean? It means that I take some time every day, every week, every month, to look at what are the things that have to get done today, the must get things done today. Then I create a list and timeline of when those are going to get done by. So I put the most important things in into my calendar every day, every week, every month. And by getting organized and slowing down first, you can focus on the things that are going to give you the most happiness, the most health, the most income, the most satisfaction, the most fulfillment in your life. And so think for a moment about slowing down so that you can actually gain momentum. Go from activity to, to productivity, and you'll see your success will soar, your results will soar. More importantly, you'll do the things that give you more fulfillment and will give you more happiness all the time. I hope you enjoyed that tip.
