Many years ago, one of my mentors said to me to first write down what kind of lifestyle I wanted to live and then to determine the amount of income that I needed in order to earn that lifestyle. And in addition to the amount of income that I would need. What was the knowledge I needed? What were the skills I needed? What were the opportunities that I need to take advantage of and not be afraid of? Whether it was building my own business, getting to sales on commission only overcoming the fears didn't matter. So if you want a great lifestyle, why not start with being very, very, very clear on what that lifestyle is and work backwards from that lifestyle? Reverse engineer the lifestyle.
