A short video blog by John Assaraf explaining the power of setting goals. He outlines three main benefits—clarifying what you don’t want, focusing the brain on what you do want, and giving the universe specific instructions—and gives practical advice: write goals down, set timelines (1-, 3-, 5-year), and create weekly/daily action steps to move toward them.

Hi, this is John Assaraf. And welcome back to the John Assaraf site or my blog. Now, I hope you're enjoying the view here at my home and we're going to be doing these short little video blogs on a regular basis just to connect with you and to give you some tidbits on how to really take your life and maybe your business to the next level. One of the things that I learned many years ago is the power of setting goals. And the power of setting goals is.
Really critical because of a few factors.
Number one, it really helps you understand and determine exactly what it is that you want to achieve.
Whether it's your health goals, your relationship goals, your career goals, business goals, spirituality.
Goals, or charitable goals. Whatever they are, the more clear you are about writing them down precisely, the better it is going to be for you and the easier it is going to be for you to achieve them. The reason I say this is twofold. Number one, you will know what not to look for. And that is just as important as knowing what to look for. Take a few moments today or this.
Week and ask yourself, what do I.
Really, really want to achieve in each area of my life?
Write it down precisely.
Also put a timeline on when you want to achieve it by so what are your one year goals?
What are your three year goals?
Maybe your five year goals. And then work backwards to what can.
You do today, this week, next week.
And the week after to move you towards that goal. It takes a little bit of planning. It takes a little bit of time to really focus on what it is you want to do. So number one, it will teach you what you don't want. Number two, it will help your brain focus on what you do want. And number three, you are also giving.
Very specific instructions to this incredibly intelligent.
Universe on what it is you want its help in doing.
I can assure you that when you.
Write your goals down, that's the first step in really achieving your goals. When you focus on those goals every single day and you create a plan.
Of action for it, that's when you will start to move towards your goal. That's when you stop eliminating all the.
Things you shouldn't be doing. And that's when you will start to see measurable and significant results in each.
Area of your life. I hope this little tidbit has helped.
This is John Assraf saying, Namaste. Have a wonderful day.
