Why Clarity of Vision is Crucial to Achieve Your Goals

John Assaraf explains that having a very clear vision (a ‘bullseye’) is essential to achieving major goals — the methods ('how') will appear after the goal is clarified. He emphasizes feeling and mastering fear and doubt while pursuing uncomfortable stretch goals. The transcript includes a short video segment that frames money as an idea/energy and introduces "laws of compensation": (1) is there a market need, and (2) how rare/valuable is your offering compared to competitors.

And by the time I was in my early 30s, I was able to make decisions, do whatever the hell I wanted. And I built another company that we took public on nasdaq. And the reason I share this with you is in order for me to make that leap, in order for me to make that leap, I had to have a very, very clear bullseye, what exactly it is that I wanted. And they helped me see things that I didn't know I could achieve.
I had no idea.
But they saw in me what I see in each one of you. More potential that you're even aware that you have. And the power of a vision is really all about what? Seeing things that other people don't see. Whether it was the Pharaohs, whether it was Carl Benz, whether it was the Wright brothers, whether it was Kennedy saying, let's put a man on the moon, when we didn't even have the technology to do it. Do you realize that your smartphone today has more power in it than what NASA had when they launched the spaceship to the moon? Are you aware of that? We developed the technology after we decided to do it, which taught me one of the best lessons ever, that the how. How you achieve your goals will always show up after the clarity of the goal. When you set a goal that you don't yet know how to achieve, that's when your cells in your body vibrate and oscillate at that level. That's when you attract the right people. But that's when you start to give your brain the instructions to find everything in the physical world that matches with that image that you have, even when you don't know how to achieve it. The key is to learn to feel the fears, to feel the doubts, to feel the uncertainties because you don't have the answers and you have doubts is to feel those. But to learn how to master your emotions. In those times, every single person, okay, that goes after their goals and dreams, feels fear, feels doubt, feels uncertain, feels like they're not smart enough, not good enough. They don't know if they could do it. And then they climb it and they reach the pinnacle. How to achieve your biggest version of yourself. You don't have to know right now, but without setting that goal, without getting into your uncomfort zone using your uncommon senses, you'll never achieve it. And so I made a decision that my goal, my life's purpose, my vision, my mission is really to help millions of people achieve their financial, business and life's goals using what I have been blessed to have learned and applied in My own life. And what I also learned is money, which we're going to show you a little video on is something that every one of you has the birthright to have lots and lots and lots of. I want to show a short little video on what is money? And then we're going to do some experiential stuff, a little bit of fun to get you just a little bit out of your comfort zone. So if we can please play that. Brian.
Some ideas are so good that they stick around forever. Like say money. Yes, an idea. That's all money is. Money is an idea based upon value. That's it. Money is simply a medium of exchange that started with livestock, grains and even chocolate. Then it evolved as civilization did, to include shells, me, metals, jewels, coins, paper money and credit. Think of money as energy. We can imagine trade, earn, invest, give, get, find, and even hide money. And still it's just an idea. It's an energy exchange. Get all the money you want by giving what you have. Trade your knowledge, your time, your skill, or even your ideas. With an unlimited imagination and your laser focused action. There's no limit to the wealth that can and will come to you. So what's your idea of money? It's energy. So get in tune with it. If you want more of it, call on it. Resonate with it right now.
So if money. Thank you, I'll take the applause. You are the first audience in the world to see that. By the way, that was finished last night. Not by me. There's a few videos that we created especially for this that I think you'll enjoy. So if money is just an idea, which it is, then the first part is to resonate with it. The second part that I learned about money is there's something known as the laws of compensation. Laws of compensation. Number one, is there a need in the marketplace? Okay, Is there a need for your product, your service, your ideas? Is there a need for it? Let's assume there is. Number two, since money is based on value and the more rare something is, the more you can charge for it, right? Whether you're a brain surgeon, cosmetic surgeon, or a commodities trader, the rarer you are or an art piece, the more value there is to it. So is there a need in the marketplace? And the next question is how good is your product, service or idea? How good? All right, in the marketplace compared to other people who are offering the same type of product or service, are you, Are you average? Are you really, really good? Or are you the frickin best? See, because the marketplace knows if you don't believe me that you have competition. I want every one of you. Type in either your skill, your product or your service. Whether you have a job or you have a business, into Google and you tell me how many millions of results come up for your product or your service. And if you don't understand how to position your skill, your product, your knowledge, your idea better than the next guy, whether they're here or in Bangladesh, too bad for you. Nature does not think twice about inflicting capital punishment.
