Why Money and Skills Aren't Enough to Achieve Success

John Assaraf explains why credentials and knowledge don't guarantee financial success: your habits and emotions override your skills. He points to the striatum, the brain's habit center, as the real lever. His event Money Squared teaches methods to align vision, beliefs, and habits to double or triple income in 6 to 18 months.

Hey, John Asraf here, and here's a question for you. Do you know of anybody, a friend or a colleague, that you don't think is as smart or capable as you, but they are doing better than you financially and maybe in a couple other areas in life? I think every one of us knows of somebody who we don't think should be achieving the success that they're achieving, and yet they are, despite the fact that we may not be. There's another part to this as well that I want to discuss, and that's this. Are there people who have so much knowledge and potential and skill, but they're not achieving the level of success that's possible for them financially and in other areas of life? And the answer is, of course there are. There are people that have graduated, whether it's from Harvard or Stanford or mit, that are doing well, but not great. But we also have people with PhDs, you know, that are living on the street. And so why is it that knowledge and skills sometime isn't enough? And the answer is this, even though we may gather knowledge and skills through books, through a video like this, through courses, through interviews, through podcasts, knowledge and skill doesn't translate to inspired action. There are different parts of yours and my brain that are responsible to gather information to activate motivational centers. But what's more important than the parts of our brain that gathers information or activates motivation is the parts of our brain that are responsible for our habits, our thought habits, our emotional habits, our behavioral habits, and our the result habits that we have each gotten accustomed to having and achieving. And so when somebody says, I have a goal to double or triple my income, I want to become a millionaire or a multi millionaire or any other goal for that matter, like losing weight or starting a business, the setting of the goal happens in one part of the brain. But if you don't have the habits to achieve that goal, chances are 97, 98% that you will not take the inspired action consistently to achieve the goal that you want in order to take knowledge and skill and use it to achieve a predictable transformation, to double your income, triple your income, start a business, get it to a million dollars, become financially free. You actually have to combine the knowledge and the skills with the emotional centers of the brain, with your habitual center in your brain, the striatum in the brain where most of our habits are wired into. And if you don't know how to do that, if you don't follow that process the way neuroscience is now teaching us how to do, then chances are you're going to be frustrated. You're going to achieve less than you're capable of achieving, even though you have the knowledge and skills, or you can get the knowledge and skills relatively quickly. Now, why am I sharing this with you? I've been fascinated with why some people achieve success that I don't think, you know, are capable of achieving success. They're doing the right things and they're becoming millionaires or multimillionaires or even billionaires, while other people that I think should be multimillionaires or billionaires aren't. And so I'm having another event called Money Squared, the Neuroscience of Financial Success. And I will teach you exactly how to get every part of your brain working in what I call is coherence and harmony, so that the vision and goals you have for achieving financial success are also integrated with your beliefs, your emotions, your, Your habits, and more importantly, the behaviors required to achieve two, three, four, or five times more income. My students all over the world are achieving amazing goals, not because they're rocket scientists that are brilliant, some of them are. But it's because we're getting their entire brains working together. Their brain, their heart, their gut, and their behavior, so that they're doing the right things in the right order, at the right time, consistently in a world where there's more than enough money for everybody. What you have to understand is that behavior is important and inspired action is important. But there are a lot of people that are taking inspired action, but they're doing the wrong things. So you have to know what are the right things to do. So if you want to learn how to earn more, manage better, invest, protect, and get out of debt faster than ever before. On this page is information about my upcoming Money Squared event, the Neuroscience of Financial Success, where I'll teach you everything you need to know and do to win the inner game, but also the game of behavior, so that you have coherence and you have consistency, predictability, and more importantly, you double or triple your income in the next six to 18 months. Follow the instructions below, see if the live event is for you, and I will help you shatter your financial glass ceiling. But more importantly, I will help you develop a fail proof blueprint, a new mental and emotional and behavioral blueprint so that you can do everything you set out to do. All right, Information is below. Appreciate you watching.
