Brian Tracy argues you can't change your past, only outwork it by taking full responsibility for your future. He reflects on how far he's come in ten years and credits gratitude and clear purpose for staying focused on what's ahead.
Whenever you feel negative or unhappy about anything, you say, wait a minute, I'm responsible. I'm responsible for my life. I'm responsible for what happens. I can't change the past, so I'm not gonna spend a second worrying about the past. I'm going to become so busy working on my future and my goals that I don't have time to think about the past.
And I remember stage being pissed about where I was at. And then sometimes I have to reflect and compare to where I was 10 years ago. And remember, I always see this comment, don't forget you prayed one day to be where you're at today.
