I'm not gonna lie, my whole story, dude, has been just being overlooked, you know, not good enough. And for me, deep down inside, I know I can play and compete at this level. High school was the case, and then I became a starter and we went to the state championship. I barely get an offer at the end, and I go to Iowa State, and then I was the third string guy going into that, overlooked. And then I got drafted last, and it's— so all these people tell me that, you know, you're not going to be good enough. But deep down inside, this whole time I'm like, just wait, just wait till I get an opportunity to compete. And I'm not gonna look back with it, man. I know that I had what it takes. It's a one step at a time kind of thing.
And I remember stage being pissed about where I was at. And then sometimes I have to reflect and compare to where I was 10 years ago and remember. I always see this comment: don't forget you prayed one day to be where you're at today.
