John Wetmore describes how he and co-founder Sarah grew their company from meeting in her minivan to a nationwide network of thousands of agents. They duplicated their model by traveling to Atlanta and Nashville, recruiting market leaders and training them in person, then shifting to remote operations while keeping corporate staff in the office.

We started out in office. Today, I don't have one agent in office. It's only my corporate staff. And we have a couple thousand agents sell a month. How do we go from there to there? We started building in the office originally. Sarah and I met, shit, I don't know how long ago in the back of her minivan. And it was like crazy when I saw her name on this thing. Not like that. Y'all fucking sick motherfuckers. Not like that. As soon as it came out of my mouth. But it's a funny story. How many? There were like 7 of us piled into the back of her minivan. And not like that either. You couple of y'all went the wrong way again.
Shit.
Is that our camera? Oh, fuck yeah, we got it. We built the office. How I met her was because we would travel, do events, bring the quantity of people to an event and let people know we were trying to find someone there to build and duplicate what we had in Atlanta. So at the time we were going to Nashville because we were trying to build the Nashville area. So we'd go up there, we'd run events, have an opportunity meeting, have a training, and we'd identify people that could— that wanted to eventually take over that market. During that process though, they had to come to Atlanta frequently to be around it, and we'd let them tap in virtually. I traveled nonstop, and I would go early on, I would go there, sell, run a meeting, find people, and tell them I want to build up. And all of our big groups now, that's where the offices are.
