Two people talk about how salespeople sabotage themselves with negative self-talk. They argue you're already good at sales, you just trick yourself into believing you aren't. Stop convincing yourself you can't do it.
because I think you have to be confident, you know, and believe in yourself, you know, to really do well around here. So how do you like get yourself to believe in yourself? I think a lot of people try to like tell themselves in the mirror that they believe in themselves, but I don't think that works. So what do you think?
You know what I always say to people, dude? Like, I sold myself that I wasn't worthy of believing in myself, right? There's someone in here, like all these people that convince themselves they're full-time and they're putting in all the effort and they're convincing themselves that they can't. It's like the story they sell themselves and they buy it. Like, there's plenty of people on here told themselves they can't do this. They aren't Wetmore, they aren't you, they aren't whoever. I'm just not them. I can't be that. I'm like, you know how motherfucking good you are at sales to convince yourself of that?
It's a good point.
You're really good at sales. Like, calm down, tiger.
