I was watching coverage about the NFL Draft, the whole Shedeur Sanders shit, and they had a top pick. I don't know which— I don't even know which team it was, but they had like number 6, 7, or 8 pick, like early in the draft. They were watching them negotiate what their pick was going to be because they had the potential to trade up or down. And depending on what the pick before them did, they had like 3 different strategies. And they have these guys negotiating shit, making calls. Hey, we'll do this. Hey, we'll do that. Now he'll do this. And there you see the whole thing. One guy goes, you know what I just saw there? And he calls out one dude who's like the big dude at the team. I don't know if he's the president, the CEO, the owner. He was a fucking bigwig at the team. He goes, dude, during all that chaos, fucking CEO didn't say one word. He let his football coaches be football coaches and he just let negotiating like one of the top picks, their entire future of their team. He didn't say fucking two words. He just let them do their thing and negotiate and stuff. He just stayed out of the way. And I was like, damn, that's a fuck of a skill set to just be able to trust your team in the future of your company. At some point, if you're not already like seeing that, you will come to a point where you will be like, fuck, I cannot do this by myself anymore.
