Add 0.1 mile to your run each day and you'll hit 37 miles in a year, enough for a marathon. The speaker uses this to argue that massive achievements come from tiny daily actions, not big leaps. Believe in yourself and master the basics before chasing unrealistic goals.

Anybody in here feel like they can run a marathon? I'm going to teach you how to do it. Can you run like 0.1 of a mile? Everyone here can. Do you think if I said I'll give you $1,000, you could run an additional 0.1? Could you do it twice? Yeah. All right, cool. If you can do it twice, can you do it 3 times? If you can do it 3 times, can you do it 4 times? Like, where do we stop? Does that make sense? Do 0.1 today, do 0.1 tomorrow, so we do 0.2. Then increase 0.1, we do 0.3 the next day. Do you know how far you'll be able to run by the end of the year? 37 miles by adding 0.1 a day. I can get anyone in this room to run a marathon in under a year by helping them just believe a little bit more. Y'all can build anything you want. You can build this thing as big as you want. But a lot of y'all want to leave this room and make 360 grand tomorrow when you don't know how to make 50 yet. You want to do the equivalent of whatever you think a marathon is in your career, and you ain't adding 0.1 a day. And a lot of y'all should believe in yourselves a lot more, but understand it's the very small incremental daily changes that will lead you to victory. There's nothing massive you're going to roll out of bed with one day and be like, oh my God, I'm amazing at recruiting today. Small pieces every day move people to where they want to go.
