Elon Musk describes ramping his work week from 70-80 hours to 120, sleeping and working every day. He notes that people ask about work-life balance when he shares his schedule, and says the hours depend on your goals. He's worked 70+ hours weekly since age 16.
Yeah, my workload went up from about, I don't know, 70 to 80 hours a week to probably 120. So yeah, I go to sleep, I wake up, I work, go to sleep, wake up, work. Do that 7 days a week.
A lot of people, when I post about working a lot, one of their first questions they ask me about is balance. The Gilons got it on point. I've been doing 70 hours a week plus since I was 16 years old. Depends what you want in life.
