I applied in 2008 to an ad. Yep. And I hit him up and I was like, hey, give me the course. I got my license in March of 2010. That's how quick I knocked it out. And then I got mad at the guy because he didn't support me when I wanted to know product stuff. So I quit him. Yeah. I'm like, I'm gonna find me a new upline. He's gonna do it. Early on, I was so focused on what the upline could do and the product support and all the stuff and getting better and the perfect phone script and the perfect in-home and the perfect lead type and the perfect weather before I started dialing. You know what I mean? The sunshine had to reflect off the window just the right way or it interfered with my eye and I couldn't focus and dial I was that dude. So I call, I don't know, 20 or 30 leads maybe. I didn't book any appointments. They all told me to fuck off and I quit for 2 more years. And I blamed the upline again and the leads. And I found another guy, a buddy of mine hit me up and he was like, hey, I found a thing you'll probably like. I know you hate your accounting job. I was like, what is it? And he says, insurance. I'm like, nah, I ain't doing that shit. I hate that. And he explains business as a whole to me and what you can do with it as a business and how you can certainly get your way out of a financial situation, which I was in.
