When we're on recruiting calls, dude, I'm looking for a reason to get off the phone because it's not a good fit. What are some of the questions you ask to find that? So I always start off with, do you know what you're getting into? The big things for me are, do you understand leads, 1099, commission only? If you ain't looking for those three things, I'm definitely off the phone. And I ask those right off the rip. Do you understand how leads work in the industry? Meaning there's only two options. You can either go cultivate business, cold call friends and family, whatever, local meetings, crap like that, or you can buy leads. That's it. I don't know how to get clients any other way. Here we choose to buy leads. Are you okay buying leads? Because if you're not, again, I ain't mad at you. I just don't know how to teach it. You're going to do this way. I'm not your guy. So do you understand that? Yes or no? And then the 1099 thing. And then for me, who I'm looking for as a person, I'm looking for someone that's going to be coachable, who's going to do the things they say they're going to do. And if they can't do number 2, you need to communicate with me. If you give me those 3 things, mean you will be good forever. If you don't do those 3 things, this is where I would say, I promise you, I'll quit you before you quit me because I'm as 1099 as they are, bro. They ain't got to work with me, but I ain't got to work with them either.
