I think where I see people go wrong a lot is setting really clear expectations for agents, much like sales, right? You start out with a client, you don't set expectations, it's going to be a bumpy appointment. If you don't set really good expectations with agents, whatever y'all's are— I can only speak on the way I speak because I am who I am— take the concepts and apply them to what you do. So I have 3 things that I'm looking for with people. I expect you to be coachable, do the things you say you're going to do, and if you can't do those things, communicate with me. That's my core. It's who I am. And I had to do that because you ever have the agent that like, yeah, coachable, I'll do everything, and then they don't get on your trainings, and then frustrated with them. I don't like that rub. That drains me mentally. Being new to building, I was a train wreck because I wanted everyone to do what I was doing. I wanted to hire me. I want everyone to do what I was doing. It's like I learned I really don't want to hire me. I'm a pain in the ass. I don't need more of me.
