(created 2023-08-18) featuring a single speaker delivering a motivational monologue about work-life balance and the trade-offs of intense effort to achieve later flexibility. The speaker reflects on having worked very hard from 2015–2020 to earn a balanced, flexible life today, argues that 40 hours is average (not "working hard") and that pursuing large, long-term goals may require 70–80 hour weeks for a period, and discusses sales efficiency and personal willingness to endure short-term imbalance for long-term gain.

but I'm at a stage where I've learned to really control the chaos. And I live a really balanced, flexible life. Most people want the balance now. Like, does it make sense? Like, you're building, trying to figure out how to make 6 figures for the first time, and you're looking for balance. I'm like, nah, dude, the balance comes later. I get the balance today for the imbalance I had in 2015, '16, '17, '18, '19. You know, and most people aren't willing to do that, man. And I'm— I ain't mad at those that aren't. If you're not willing to, all good, you know. And again, I had a guy hit me up on social the other day yakking about, you know, wanting to work. I said something about 40 hours— working 40 hours a week is not overwhelmed. Like, if you're working 40 hours a week and you're like saying you're working hard, like, it's pathetic, to be honest. And he was like, well, you know, I just don't— I think if you get better at selling, you can work 25 hours. And I'm like, Amen, you can. I'm just saying you're not working hard if it's under 40. And 40 is not that hard. 40 is average. For every Tom, Dick, and Harry should be working 40 hours. You're trying to do something big, you want to impress somebody. Again, we're trying to make the insurance professionals draft, first round draft pick. You want a long-term multi-million dollar contract, bro, you're working 70, 80 hours a week for a little while, you know. And again, my thing is people always assume I'm saying you have to do this till the day you're in the grave. And I'm like, I didn't do it that way. And I wouldn't expect anybody else to. I just, I did it till I had to. And, you know, I'm willing to do whatever today, but I can accomplish a lot in a short window today. And I worked my mother effing face off from 2015 to 2020. 5 years to have what I have today in terms of time and money is, I would do it twice as long, you know, had I looked back on life and done it the right way.
