John Wetmore breaks down how to improve faster than everyone else: outwork them. He uses a baseball story and sales math to show the formula: see 30 people a week, close 25%, make $250K a year. The real edge isn't talent. It's scheduling better and showing up more.

Alex is playing baseball. He's 12. For 12, he's pretty good. But they're 12. They suck. They're supposed to suck. They're 12. Can you imagine if we were like, "You know what, dude? Go home and watch— stop practicing. Just don't skip practice. Just go home and watch more baseball on TV until you get really good and then start playing again." Most ages just want to go study some video and find the next fancy trick to get good. And I'm like, "Why don't you just go work more?" Because if most of y'all look at your actual schedule and get rid of all the garbage, you have plenty of time. I've done this with thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of ages. I can find a gap in everyone's schedule in like 30 seconds of meeting you. Because I did it all. Y'all can't hide it from me because I was you. So I said, I'm going to go outwork everybody. So 30 people a week, it was 120 people a month, it's 1,500 people a year. A third of them could not even be there. So call it 1,000. I can be a terrible closer at 25%, $1,000 a pop. Do basic math. I know some of y'all suck at it, but basic math says it's $250,000 a year. Only seeing two-thirds of the people and only closing one-quarter of those, you know.
