What's one thing that you look for in your core? Character trait, etc. When you're hiring somebody in to really take maybe a big leg of the company or has, you know, is going up the ranks and what does that person need to be spotted by you to be a massive core in your company?
I have this saying that I call like, who stands out? So instead of trying to— like, you kind of even worded it in a way that it's implied that I can take you and make you a big leg. Does that make sense? Like, that's, that's not how it works. Like, you're either going to stand out and put in the work or you're not, you know. And you don't have to be a rock star, but for me, I'm looking for who stands out relative to the average crowd. Yeah, does that make sense? And the things that— the, the specific things I'm looking for when I'm recruiting someone on a base level is they gotta be coachable, they gotta do the things they say they're gonna do, and if they can't do number 2, I need them to communicate with me. If you give me those 3— coachable, do what you say you're gonna do, whatever that is, whatever that is in your world, coachable, do the things you say you're gonna do, and if you can't do what you say you're gonna do, communicate— I'll do that, I will never get frustrated.
