Early on in my career, I'm a year or two in, super mediocre. We're getting by, we're paying the bills, but nothing amazing. For the first couple of years in this industry, I was always looking for that like magic potion, the little blue pill. Not that one. And like the secret sauce, the magic phone script, the perfect lead, the perfect vendor, the perfect county, the perfect time to call. I was hunting for all that stuff. I remember one day I'm nerding out with my spreadsheet and I'm looking at numbers and dials and calls and how many appointments I'm running. And I'm frustrated because I can't figure out how to get to the next level. And I'm always trying to use somebody else's style and somebody else's clothes and somebody else's in-home home and I just couldn't get it. And I remember looking at this and I went, what happens if I just decide to just do more now and get better later? And I literally just looked at my numbers and I was like, if I just run 3 times the appointments, because I was not doing many, wouldn't I just have 3 times the result? I decided I was just going to suck more often. That was my strategy in this industry.
