An insurance salesman built a millionaire's income working just 11 days a month. He blocked off Sundays, kept Thursday dinners with his kids, and worked focused stretches: Mondays for calls, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the field, alternating Fridays and one Saturday monthly. That schedule moved $500,000 in life insurance policies.

For me, I was in home sales. So take the concept here and apply it to whatever the hell you do today. If I look at a month, ideally I didn't want to work on Sundays anymore. I did for the first year and a half. In my ideal schedule, I didn't. Then I had my kids for dinner Thursday nights, every Thursday night. Then I had them every other weekend. So like this weekend, I'd have the kids Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. And then this weekend I'd have the kids Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Other than that, I'll be honest, I didn't really give a crap. So for me, I had every other Saturday off, open. I decided I was going to work one of them. For me, I was going to dial here every Monday, and then I said, these days I'm going to be in the, in the field, right? So every Tuesday, Wednesday, I'd be in the field. And then every other Friday when I didn't have the kids, I'd be in the field. And then one Saturday a month I'd be in the field. That was my goal. That was it. 11 days a month I sold life insurance. I sold $500,000 in life insurance with that schedule.
