Dana White argues that identifying a goal and working toward it every day guarantees success. His counterpart pushes back, saying hard work and consistency are common among successful people, but not an absolute guarantee.
This is a fact. This isn't bullshit. This isn't whatever. It's a fact. You figure out and you zero in on what you want and you get up every single day and you work toward that goal. I guarantee it's going to happen for you at some level. You believe that anyone in here in this room put their mind to anything, no matter how big the goal, and move toward it every day, they would sooner or later achieve. I don't believe that's a fact.
I think the messaging about working hard and consistency seems to be true with most every successful person I follow. Pretty simple principle for an everyday Joe to go out there and do bigger things because the competition isn't really that hard when you keep it that simple.
