A founder's company hit $800K/month by 2017, then flatlined at $820K-$860K in 2018. He was doing every critical job himself because his team couldn't replicate his processes. He'd taught them surface tactics without the deeper systems needed to scale.

2018, I got stuck at a certain point. I think in January we did like $820K, and in December we probably were at like $860K a month. I've never been flat in a year. You know, the year prior, 2017, we were probably doing $300K at the beginning of the year, and then we got to $800K by the end of the year, right? So this was '17 into '18. And then the year before here, '16, dude, I might have been doing $100K a month as a team, you know, but by the end of the year I was doing $300K. So we triple here, we fucking triple here. This year I was flat. I was like, what the fuck is happening? Nothing would duplicate. I had to do it all. All the things I put in place, all the things— I had to be the answer guy, I had to be the guy for the leads, I had to help with recruiting, I had to do all the pieces because these fuckers didn't know how to teach it. Why? I made it too easy on them. I didn't teach them the logistics of the game. Sure, and I taught them to pick up the phone and dial and shit, but I didn't go like layers. I didn't take that into account.
