John Wetmore says you know what to do but lie to yourself about doing it. You know how to get in shape, make more money, learn underwriting, but you don't. Stop the self-deception. Take responsibility and build the habits that actually work.

I think a lot of us lie to ourselves and pretend we don't know what it takes to get to a new level, right? A simple analogy is like, who wants to get in better shape? Hey, you see our average client, what's their health? Sucks. What's their average income? Sucks. That motivated me to not want to be like that, not only in financial, but the way I think, the way I live, the way I eat, the way I have all— everything. But here's the thing, do any of you really not know what it takes to be in better shape? Yet this morning, what did you eat and drink? You're lying to yourself. I also don't believe most of you really want to be in a better financial situation. You just say it because all of you know you don't work enough when you don't work enough. All of you know you don't buy enough leads when you don't buy enough leads. And yet you're like, I need the sales training. If I just knew the product better, like— and some people been here 6 months, 12 months, a year, 18 months, 2 years, still don't know basic underwriting. I find that weird. And you say you want to be rich.
