Joni Patry uses Frank Sinatra and Britney Spears' birth charts to show how the 3rd house (talent and expression) connected to the 5th house (creativity) marks major performers. Both had chart rulers in the 3rd house and strong 2nd-house placements tied to voice.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about something pretty exciting to me and that is that I have just released my brand new book.
And here is the COVID of my brand new book. And what it is is Astrologer secrets. My best tools and techniques. I reveal 40 years of experience of the things that I find work the best. Remember, I started with Western astrology, but I was always searching, searching for the tools that really helped with prediction and really giving me answers through astrology. And I found Western astrology to be extremely useful and wonderful. But I couldn't get over the predictive tools of Vedic. And through my 40 years of study, I have discovered some amazing things that work all the time. And I thought I might reveal one of them to you today. That's in my book. It's just incredible that when you look to the third house, you're gonna find that that is the house that deals with talent.
Performing entertainers, everything to do about.
Getting out there on stage and really being creative. You know, we were always told it's the fifth house, weren't we? And yes, you're right. The fifth house is the house of creativity. It's the things we create, right? Even children, we create those. But the number three is so powerful and significant. And I think personally, the third house is the most underrated house of the chart. In Vedic astrology they're always teaching you to look at the angles or teaching you to look at the triconal houses. But I found that the third deals with our willpower. What can we achieve with that willpower? Absolutely nothing. And let me explain something about what, why the third house is what it is. So it's talent, it's creativity, it's expression. And the reason why the fifth house deals with creativity is it's the third house from the third house, counting from the third, third, fourth, fifth. So that's why the fifth house is creative talents. And when you find in a very talented individual's chart that has a connection between houses three and five, you're gonna find a natural born star, performer, entertainer. Now I'm gonna look at the charts of two. One that's old and one that's new. Performers, entertainers that we all know of. I don't care how old you are, you have to know who Frank Sinatra is, right? I know I've got a young audience here and they think, why do all these old people. Frank Sinatra is a legend. His voice, his songs will always be around.
You can't say that about every performer, entertainer, songs can you now. So I wanted to just show you what I meant. We're also going to look at Britney Spears. I know she's not real current, but hey, the younger generation definitely knows about Britney Spears, Madonna, all of the major performers. They're all in my new book, book Astrologer Secrets. But I want to show you what I mean just to give you an idea of what I go through in this new book. So putting up the chart of Frank Sinatra, I mean his voice is like silk. I mean he was, he was probably one of the first. Well, probably not, but I mean women used to faint and go crazy over him. Just like all the.
Elvis, the Beatles and all of the icons that, you know, our heart throbs through their voice singing and performing. But Frank Sinatra right here, he has Libra as his ascendant. Therefore Venus rules Libra. And Venus is the chart ruler, very important planet. Wherever the chart ruler goes in, a chart will always be a focus throughout someone's life. So Venus as his chart ruler, guess what house it sits in? You're right, the third house, which is the house of entertainers and performers. And I find quite often that whenever there's a connection between house number three and house number five, you've got a natural born star, someone that loves to perform and entertain or is incredibly talented and creative. And look at when you go to his third house, which Sagittarius is the sign on his third house. Jupiter rules Sagittarius. So therefore if you look, the ruler of the third house, Jupiter sits where in the fifth house. So guess what, there's a connection between house number three and house number five. That's what I look for with natural born entertainers and performers. And then when you go to his fifth house and he's got Jupiter and the moon, how incredibly powerful is that for someone who is a natural born entertainer, performer, creative and very talented? You know, another feature too is in Vedic astrology and I have this throughout the book, is the voice. The second house is our voice. Whether we're a speaker or a singer or how we use our voice. So if you take that into consideration, you gotta know Frank Sinatra would have some powerful planets in the second house of the voice. And he has his sun and Mercury. And actually the sun rules the 11th House of Major wealth, great gains. So the ruler of the 11th house, the sun sits in the second house of his voice. His father voices everything. It's amazing. So even Mercury is there, the planet of communication rules his ninth house of luck. And Blessings. And sits in the second house of his voice. But my main point is talking about the power of the third house. And planets that rule the third house is going to give the ability to create, perform and entertain. So I think I've made my point with Frank Sinatra. Now let's put up the chart for Britney Spears and see if she has third and fifth house connections, which of course all the entertainers, even if they don't have planets in these houses, I guarantee you the planets that rule these houses are phenomenally powerful. So putting up Britney Spears chart, her chart ruler is Mercury. Why? Because remember I said the chart ruling planet is the planet that rules your ascendant. And whatever house it goes to will be an area of focus throughout your life. So looking at the Virgo rising that Britney has, Mercury rules it. And guess what? House it sits in the third house. Just like Frank Sinatra had. The ruler of his ascendant, which was Venus, his chart ruler sat in his third house. And with Britney Spears, same thing. Her chart ruler, which is Mercury, sits in her third house. And it's very strong actually with Uranus. She is unconventional in the way she does things. And this was probably part of the reason why she lost control as she did later on. But going to the fifth house, which is the other house, the third from the third deals with our ability to create, perform and entertain. And she's got this beautiful Venus moon conjunction in the fifth house. And the moon being ruler of the 11th house of gains and multiplies things. The ruler of the 11th, the moon sits in the fifth House of Creativity. You know, one thing I failed to mention about Mercury, her chart ruler in the third house, well, it also rules her 10th house of her career. So the ruler of the first, the ruler of the 10th, which is her career. And it's the same planet. Mercury sits in the third house of entertainers, but the Venus moon also Venus rules the ninth house and Venus rules the second house. Because Venus rules Libra and Venus rules Taurus. But think about what I said about the voice. She sings, she dances. Third house deals with singing and dancing, by the way, and even writing. But it's all about how we perform, entertain and communicate. Third house. So my point is, with the second house being her voice, Venus rules the second house of singing and her voice and how she makes money, by the way. And it also rules the 9th House of Luck and fortune. And Venus sits in the fifth house of performing, entertaining, creativity. So Venus rules the second house of singing and sits in the fifth house.
Talent and entertaining. So Never forget to look at house number three and house number five. And when they're connected, this is a star is born. And when they're powerful and have these powerful planets in their third.
House or planets ruling the third house, you're going to see that this person is born to entertain, perform in some way, be vastly talented and created. All this is in my new book and then some.
