April 2018 Predictions: A Building Crisis!

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today I'd like to talk about the month of April where everything's going to be getting so much more intense because this is the month that we have Mars, Saturn and Pluto all converge together in the sign of Sagittarius. Now remember, I am doing the sidereal Vedic astrology, not the tropical Western. Therefore the placements of the planets are different. Generally a falls backwards a sign. So I'm looking at these transits occurring in Sagittarius, not in Capricorn. So with that, when you look at the power of Mars and together with Saturn, they are like trying to mix water and oil together. They don't mix. Mars wants to go forward while Saturn wants to pull back. So we have this.

Frustration and anger. And in the sign of Sagittarius, this is the sign that deals with fundamental righteousness, particularly with religious beliefs. So you're going to find more people upset that they can't get other people to agree with their opinions, particularly with their beliefs. This will produce more terrorism because this is what the fundamentalists are based on, their religious beliefs. And this is going to come up and produce much more anger and attacks. So watch how this month starts to really.

Come up with anger and frustration. And I want to say around the time of the new moon, which is April 15, that's the time that we have a new moon conjunct, Uranus, which is the planet of sudden change, disruption. It deals with earthquakes. So things are really shaking. And if I might say, this is the month that I think is the most crucial in terms of Earth changes. Volcanic eruptions, major storms. But the Earth is shaking from so much emotion and upheaval. Things are surfacing. There's so many things that people are angry and feel the right to be angry about. So the anger explodes. This month you're going to see some around the world, many protests and uprisings. So around the dates of April 17th through the 22nd, this is going to be when Saturn is Pluto station, they station to go retrograde. And when a planet stations, it is more intense. So Saturn is in a standstill and so is Pluto. This represents a major breakdown in the governments, in the controls that have been going on. And so much is coming upwards and has for a while concerning gun control and the United States. So there's going to be a higher level of intensity of people speaking out, coming out with their beliefs in mass population. This is going to become more and more and more intense over the summer months, you'll see. But by the time we hit August through November, I believe there's going to be peace made and big changes the direction of this huge, huge conflict going on currently, not only in the United States, but this is happening worldwide.

So Mercury is going to turn direct on the same day as the new moon, which is April 15. Mercury has been retrograde in the sign of Pisces, which is actually its sign of debilitation. So this is a time that you're going to feel a bit more absent minded, disconnected. But whenever Mercury goes retrograde throughout the year, three different times it will be in the same element. And sidereally it's in the water element, which to me means it's bringing up so many emotional issues from the past. And this promotes major breakthroughs in healing, healing of emotional issues, not only worldwide, but individually. Individually. And I have seen so many breakthroughs and changes on an individual level with so many of my clients I've been working with. And this involves surfacing things from the past. Another element that predicts that this is all about emotional issues and major uprising this year is the fact that Rahu has been transiting in the sign of cancer. Now cancer is the sign of family. It is ruled by the moon. So it represents emotional issues and it deals with women and women's rights. And this has been surfacing throughout this year since we've had Rahu in cancer. And it will continue throughout this year. But, but we have seen so many uncoverings of.

Just incredible dark stuff coming up, such as in Hollywood, all of the control and manipulation that certain directors and producers have had on women. And this is surfacing around the world with the rights of children, sexual abuse, it's finally coming out of the dark. These things have been hidden for so long and these things now are surfacing. And when things surface, it gives the opportunity for healing and gives an enormous sense of freedom because when we have deep secrets, they can control and destroy life. And we have to recognize and know what is being denied. And this involves the family unit, as I said. These retrogrades, when a planet goes retrograde, it brings back things. Mercury retrograde in water signs is bringing up the emotional issues that need to be addressed to be healed. And Rahu being in the sign of cancer or all about family, all about mothering, all about the emotions, the feelings, these have got to be addressed and things from the past. Rahu and Ketu bring up those things that need to be addressed throughout that year. Remember, wherever Rahu and Ketu are, are going to be where the eclipses are occurring throughout that year. So, so we have the eclipses, the lunar and solar that just occurred January, February, and will happen again in July. And during those periods will be the heaviest for things coming up and surfacing. But it's happening all along. And with that, you're going to see even more darkness be revealed concerning women's issues with women are coming into a more powerful position this year due to the surfacing and clearing and healing.

And many issues around the family. Because remember the core issue of any society, the core base, everything deals with the family. And so many things concerning family issues are now ready to be revealed.

And it's never been recognized. All the secrets for generations have been denied and repressed because it was too dark. But now a healing is happening and this is powerful. Remember, the moon, which is the ruler of cancer, deals with the emotions. And when the moon is not placed well in a chart or it's isolated away from other planets, people feel disconnected, they feel alienated, they don't feel protected or supported. And this is what needs to come out. Because.

If the love in the family that generated from the family unit was disturbed, possibly because of generational abuse, the mother and maybe the mother's mother, there's been a. There's been a dysfunction in how love and our associations on what we think love is, is dysfunctional. But what's coming in is a sense of being able to heal the emotional body and to become in touch with what necessary. And that is to understand love, how to give, how to receive love. And this originates from the family unit and uncovering the secrets and the blocks, whatever it is, just recognizing the truth will create a major breakthrough transformation in consciousness, not only in you individually, but but as a planet. Because this is why these things are being uprooted and surfaced. Because it's necessary that we heal and we heal our lives, heal the planet.

So looking past all of this, as Mercury goes direct, this means things will start to move in a direct form fashion. And the breakdown of the past, the controls with government, Pluto is power. When Saturn starts to approach Pluto, which is happening throughout this year, the controls of the government, there will be a major breakdown in order to give people back their power. This is what's occurring. This is empowering. And as Mars and Saturn come together and Mars touches Pluto, explosive events will happen in terms of governments and realizations and things that have been hidden and secret. This needs to happen. Another thing that's occurring is the major shift in change with the markets. Yes, the stock market is so volatile, it will continue to be volatile throughout this year. When it goes up, it goes down, and it's not never going to be the same.

And I'm a big believer in cryptocurrency. Yes, it's going to go up again, but right now there's going to still be the volatility till it can really, really make a shift in a change. Watch and see. This cryptocurrency thing is just getting started. You, it is recalibrating and you're going to find that there's other currencies that are going to really take hold and change the way that we exchange money in the world. This is not going away. I know many people are afraid of cryptocurrency because they don't understand it, but it is the new wave of the future. And yes, it's going to be volatile for a while, but it's here to stay. And let me just say, there are so many things that are about to shift and change. With Uranus, with the new Moon, this is going to be an incredible month for radical changes and unpredictable. Nothing can be predicted about this month in terms of where the markets are going, in terms where people's emotions are going. People are out of control because there is so much anger, repression, denial, and that breeds unhappiness. And what's happening is people are having to really get in touch with that which they've been repressing. Anger is the result. Repressing emotion.

That needs to be expressed. That's depression, actually. And this is all surfacing and things will radically shift and they're going to change. Now, one of the good notes of this month is the fact that Jupiter and Venus are in opposition. Jupiter being in the sign of Libra, is very healing because it promotes peace. And as Venus in Aries exactly opposes Jupiter, during this month, you're going to see that so many of the uprisings are necessary, but they will bring the end result of a healing and peace. Now, like I said, it probably won't come about till around August through November, but it's coming. And what's happening now, the disruption, the anger, the surfacing, is what is going to help this onset of peace that is evolving. And all of these upsets and upheavals need to happen in order to heal. So with that, I'd like to close.
