Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today I'd like to talk about the sign Aquarius. And for those of you who have Aquarius ascendants, Aquarius is a fixed air sign. So air is all about communications, connecting to people by what you say, information, just feeling connected to your friends and associates. Because it is the 11th sign, it relates to the 11th house which deals with friends and groups and organizations. This is very important to the sign Aquarius. And because it is fixed, they can be very fixed in their ideas. As a matter of fact, the saying for Aquarius is I know. So they feel like they know many things more than other people. So they can kind of be a know it all at times when it is in its working in its bad or negative way. But otherwise Aquarius is very disciplined, very focused and very original and very intelligent. But with this, Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. And Saturn rules the 1st and Saturn rules the 12th house. So the fact that the planet that rules the first house of who they are and rules the 12th house, that is secretive and private. Aquarians can be extraordinarily secretive and private. They do not want other people to know what's going on in their life. They want to keep that all to themselves. So they like to pull away. They need their time away from the world and they need their solitude. So this is in terms of the ruler of the first also ruling the 12th house.
Sometimes because the first house ruler represents your vitality, in terms of your health, they can have a weak vitality at times with the fact that Saturn also rules the 12th house. Now Jupiter is their money planet, because Jupiter rules the second House of Money and the 11th House of Great gains. And this can mean that, that and because Jupiter is the great benefic for wealth, Jupiter will bring them money and gains. So this is a very prosperous sign. But because the 11th House ruler usually can cause problems in a chart, money can cause problems, possibly break up through friendships, because it does rule the 11th. And it's about gains. And second house is the money we earn or we have. And many times they need to not talk about their money because the second house is our speech. So they should not tell people their concerns or their financial situation. Because this many, many times can cause friends to be attracted to you for the wrong reasons. And that can always go wrong.
So with this, Mars rules the 3rd and Mars rules the 10th. So Mars is not necessarily a good planet for Aquarius Ascendant because the third house will be a bit contentious, a bit competitive but because it does rule the 10th house as well. They are competitive and driven to be successful. And they will struggle and they will make it, and they will work harder than most. And Mars, because it does rule the third house, they could travel short distances for their work, for their career. And there's even the possibility that they could work with the brother or sister. They could bring them into their workplace or somehow end up working at the same business.
And the third house deals with communications. So therefore they do very well in the areas of communications in terms of their profession.
Venus rules the fourth and Venus rules the ninth. They have a close relationship with both of their parents. The fourth house meaning the mother, the ninth house meaning the father. So, so they are close to their parents and they will end up at some point, probably caring for either one or the other or both of their parents at some point. And because of this, Venus rules an angle, the fourth, and a Trine, which is the night. Therefore, this is their most powerful and best planet. It is their Yoga Karaka planet. So this is extraordinary. And with the Yoga Karaka planet.
Being the most positive planet, it creates Raja Yoga all by itself. It has Raja Yoga status. So wherever Venus does go in the chart brings luck and brings good things. So luck is relative to the ninth house. The fourth house can deal with property and real estate. So they can have luck when purchasing or buying real estate. They will be lucky with real estate and property.
And also their mother, because Venus rules the fourth. And of course, Venus rules the ninth. They could have very charming parents, parents that probably stay together, work together, something where there's a togetherness. And the mother can be quite charming and pretty. Venus, rulership of the fourth. Now, Mercury, because it rules the fifth, it's going to be a good planet for this chart, Triconal. But it also rules the most difficult house, the 8th. And for the most part, this could mean problems with children, that the children create some problems in their life and they may have some difficulties, maybe, you know, having them or later in life, their problems. Their children can have problems that they're going to have to help them out with, with school, education or things of this nature even getting in trouble.
But because the ruler of the fifth also rules the eighth, this means that they are profound and deep thinkers. And Mercury ruling the, ruling the way we process our information and think. They are not only deep thinkers, but very intelligent. They understand concepts that others cannot. They have sort of like a scientific, engineering type mind about them.
The moon rules the sixth house. And therefore people with Aquarius ascendant do have fragile health because whatever the Moon rules is where they fluctuate the most. The house deals with our health and healing and it can also deal with our temperament and experiences in our job, our co workers or employees. So there's always this changeover with people that you work with or somehow the way you feel about your work and the people you're working with. But most of all, remember Saturn by the fact that it rules the 1st and the 12th, depleting the life force, the energy. And the Moon ruler of the sixth house can represent also a weakness, fragile constitution dealing with health. Their digestion in their bodies must be looked after. How they eat is really important because of the Moon's rulership of the six. The Moon rules the stomach and that deals with the digestive tract that must be watched. So they have to be careful what they eat.
The sun rules the seventh house. And they tend to attract very powerful and strong partners in marriage, sometimes those that have to be over the top in control of everything. And they have to always pretty much remember to remain in the shadow. So this has its repercussions and how they feel about themselves. But as long as they're able to let their partner shine, their marriage and relationship will work out. But it's not easy. Marriage is not going to be an easy one for them based on the fact that the sun rules the seventh house. It's too powerful. It has to shine. But then again, probably they will be taken care of by their partner because their financial and money matters will do very, very well. By the fact that Jupiter rules the 2nd and the 11th. So they could also by the fact that Jupiter rules the 2nd and the 11th, come into money and gains through their association with certain friends. So friends will maybe introduce them to the work that they're in or introduce them to ways of making money working together. So the planets that are the very best for Aquarius Ascendant are going to be of course Venus is top one. Is the top one, the top star. Saturn by the fact that Saturn rules the first house and Mercury by the fact that it rules the fifth house. But Saturn and Mercury are kind of taken down a notch in comparison to Venus, which is all powerful. The planets that are going to be most difficult for Aquarius as an Ascendant will be Mars by the fact that it rules the Mars rules the the third house, which is problematic and can cause conflicts. And the tenth, which is not a triconal, as well as the the Moon because it rules the sixth. And that could be an issue or a problem. So that pretty much covers Jupiter, you know, does rule the money houses, but it's not going to be the great benefit because it does not rule a triconal. It's not part of the planetary camp that Aquarius is a part of, which is Saturn, Venus and Mercury.
