Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about if you have Aries as your ascendant. Remember, the Ascendant is your rising sign. It's the sign that's rising on the eastern horizon at your time of birth. The rising sign sets up your entire chart. And once you know what your rising sign is, then you know what your chart ruler is. Because the planet that rules the Ascendant rules your entire chart. So. So for Aries, that's going to be Mars. So I'm going to talk about all the different aspects of who you are through Aries as your rising sign and Mars as your chart ruler as it sits in each and every house of the chart will speak volumes to you as to who you are.
And what your interests will be throughout your life. So before I get there, I always want to remind everyone to sign up for my free newsletter on my website, Galactic Center.org and you will get all of my predictions delivered to your email address weekly. And while you're there at that website, I have so many new things to offer. I have new classes, Shooting Star sports series that you can be a part of. And if you don't know what your rising sign is, I have a free chart calculator on my website. Once you put all of your information in there, scroll to the very bottom where it says as, which stands for asc. That's your Ascendant. Don't try to read the Vedic charts. That's for more advanced people. But it will tell you clearly what your rising sign is, your ascendant. And don't forget, in Vedic astrology, we call it the Lagna. So let's get going. Let's talk all about Aries as your ascend. Ascendant. So if you are an Aries Ascendant all by itself, you are action packed. Nothing keeps you down. You can't wait to jump into things. Aries is the sign of the most impulsive person. They may get a few speeding tickets because they do not like to go slow. Especially if your rising sign is in Ashwini. That Nakshatra wants to go 100 miles an hour and actually deals with traveling and going very, very fast. So then there's the other aspect of someone that could have their Ascendant in Bahraini, which can mean new beginnings Explosive type personality. But altogether the sign of Aries is action ruled by Mars. Mars is the planet that deals with sports, it deals with action, it's energy, it's red, it rules the blood, it also rules conflict, war, violence. But it's a very male dominated energy. Consider its symbol. It's the symbol for male. It is a powerful sign that doesn't want to ever slow down. I find that people with a strong Mars can't sit still long enough to watch videos or movies because they're always thinking about what they have to be doing, that is Martian energy. And usually they can be very athletic, they can be very sports oriented. Mars actually rules muscles so it can deal with someone that has a strong constitution, a vital vitality and a love of life. Aries is also considered to be the babies of the zodiac, because in the natural zodiac, it is the first sign, start of spring, new beginnings. So as being the baby of the zodiac, what does that mean? It means that when they want something, they're going to go after it. And it just really never occurs to them that they could be inconveniencing other people. It's not that they're trying to be that way. They just. It never occurs to them because they're so focused and laser oriented. When they want something, they go right after it. So this is the most.
Pioneering sign of the zodiac. Aries are known to be the beginners, the ones that always come out first because they're usually the fastest, most impulsive, they don't think before they jump. So that can be. That has its advantages. They can be very.
Spontaneous. The advantages is they are the pioneers with new businesses and projects that other people worried about starting for so long. They never got to it. Aries is not like that. They get to it, they start things. The initiators, the pioneers, the beginners, the first to do something in the zodiac. So let me talk about Mars. Since Mars rules your sign. Let's talk about if you're in Aries Rising and you have Mars in your first house, that means Mars in Aries. Wow. That means you can't sit still for a minute. You're constantly on the go, you can't stand to move slow. Yes, you're the one that's going to get the speeding tickets because everything is in fast motion and pace. Probably you don't have. You have a fast metabolism too, because you're always moving, always going. And yes, you're a pioneer. You're the one that begins the new, the fresh, the beginning, and always looking forward and excited. About life. Mars is action and energy. And you should be pretty athletic if you have Mars in Aries. Let's talk about if you have Mars in the second house. That means you have Mars, Aries rising.
But your Mars is in Taurus. Whole different energy. Your focus is going to be around making money. But with Mars being in the second house, there'll be many conflicts around the family unit, because the second house can deal with family. And it actually tells me that in early childhood, there was a lot of abrupt, upsetting things. There was a lot of conflict going on in the family at an early age.
Mars being in the second house, you could speak quickly. You speak before you think. Sometimes you got to really take that into account. And you probably eat pretty fast, slow it down. You got to digest that food. That will help your digestion incredibly. But a moon in Taurus in your second house, it will bring you the finer things of life, and you're willing to work for it. You will get there, you will work for it. But with the moon in the second house, money does fluctuate. So what if you have the moon in Gemini in an Aries, Aries rising, then that means that the ruler of your chart. I'm sorry, did I. I meant to say Mars, ruler of your chart being in Gemini, Mars in Gemini in your third house. So remember, I'm always talking about the ruler of the chart going to the third house. So if Mars is the ruler of your chart and it's in the third house, it means Mars is in Gemini. And that means you love to learn, love to learn. It's always about learning, school and education. You absorbed it all so fast. Learning is a pleasure and a love of your life. Mars in Aries. You're funny. You got a great sense of humor. You communicate that way to people, being really sharp, intellectual and funny.
And Mars being in the third house, you probably have issues with a sibling, particularly either. Maybe you're the youngest, but if you're not the youngest, one is the one you. You have the issues with with Mars being in the third house. But you have a love of travel, and you will travel all over the world. This is your chart ruler, not only being in the house of travel, but being in the same sign of travel. Gemini sign of learning, education, teaching, writing. You love to express yourself through the written word.
So let's say you have Aries ascendant, but your Mars ruler of the chart goes to the fourth house. This means your Mars is in Cancer.
And this means.
Mars is debilitated in Cancer. It's a weak sign for it being in the fourth house. There's going to be issues with the mother. The fourth house is the mother. And Mars being there, there's, there's, there's like a butting of heads. There's conflict with the mother and there's problems with the home life. And emotionally you have to overcome this. Usually with a debilitated planet, it becomes your strength in later life because that's your focus. So Mars being in the fourth house in cancer, one of your strengths to overcome is family issues plus owning your own house and real estate and property. That's going to be one of the core issues that maybe at first is difficult, but you overcome it. And property and real estate is an important issue with for you. So if your moon. I'm sorry I keep saying moon, I mean to say Mars, because Mars rules your first house, Aries rising, and you have your Mars in the fifth house. This is Mars being in Leo. So your Mars would be in Leo in the fifth ruler of your chart in the fifth house deals with creativity and expression. You have to express yourself. And I'll say this too, the fifth house is the house of intelligence. So you're incredibly smart. And many times when I see Mars in the fifth house, people want to understand the mechanics of how things work always. So they're usually become engineers. And if they're not an engineer, usually they're pretty darn good with numbers. So, so they figure things out. They're highly smart and they know how things work. And if they have children, they're going to have some athletic children. Very smart and intelligent and very athletic. That's what I'll say. And very driven. And sometimes they can cause you some issues and problems, but that's okay, really. Look at their, their power and their gifts and you'll be able to guide them better.
So if your Mars sits in the sixth house with an Aries rising, Mars is your chart ruler in the 6. It means Mars is in Virgo. You could be very involved in health, healing, or some kind of service industry, whether it be restaurants and food. Mars sometimes deals with cooking, but it could also interfere with your digestive area of your life. So watch what you eat. With Mars being in Virgo in the six. Another thing about this is you're incredibly detailed, oriented, you really know how to analyze things and you leave no stone uncovered, especially in the workplace. But another thing is you could have issues with co workers and, and, or employees. Watch that, watch that. You don't have the butting of heads of ideas so if you're Aries rising and Mars, your chart ruler sits in the seventh house, this means your Mars is in Libra. And Mars being in the seventh house is actually what we call kuja dosha, problems in relationships. So be aware of this puja dosha energy. You've got to work things out. So. And you can work things out because Mars being in the sign of Libra means you will try to be the peacemaker and you will try to come to compromise. You've got to come to compromise with your partner and partners and even in business relationships as well. Don't be combative, try to work things out. But this is where you're going to attract a partner that can be a little bit combative or passive aggressive. Mars being in Libra, it's not going to become confrontational with the issues that need to be addressed. Okay, if you have Aries Rising and your Mars ruler of your chart sits in your eighth house, then you got to know Mars is in Scorpio in your eighth. This is deep, dark stuff. You could be into research, analysis, you could be a detective, but at the same time, Mars can deal with some difficult energy and abuses. Sometimes being in the eighth house and does deal with a certain degree of disgrace and humiliation that you're here to uncover and heal. It's not an easy position to have the ruler of your chart in the eighth, but it will direct you into metaphysics and healing and psychology. You're always getting to the core and the bottom of things to heal them, to improve your life. And therefore this can be a major transformative position with you in your life. So if you have Mars ruler of your chart, Aries rising and Mars sits in your ninth house, this means your Mars is in Sagittarius and Mars in the 9th House in Sagittarius gives you a quest for truth seeking. Always wanting to find the answers. And spirituality is very, very important to you. To have the ruler in the 9th long distance travel, you will travel the world. You will travel all over the world seeking truth too. You could even go into a field of law, or if that's not the truth, into teaching. Higher minded teaching. Being a teacher, being a professor, traveling the world. But there could be some issues with dad. Be aware of that. If you have Aries Rising and your Mars ruler of the chart sits in your 10th house, then this means you have Mars in Capricorn. The ruler of your chart goes to the 10th. Career is everything to you. That is the most important way that you define yourself. And with Mars being Exalted in Capricorn. This gives extreme success. You can be very success oriented. This is extraordinary and powerful and gives success with career and job. And you're brilliant with Mars being elevated in the highest position. And you will probably have your own business or be the CEO of a business. Be aware, you'll be in charge in career and business and your purpose is your business. So if you have Aries rising and your Mars ruler, the chart sits in the 11th House, this means you have Mars in Aquarius. Friendships, groups and organizations and managing people is what you do best. You are a manager of others. You can be.
Anything to do with advisory positions where you take charge of groups of people and.
Everything to do with friends you put a focus on. But you're going to find that some of your friends are a little bit combative and probably at times you may not realize it, but jealous. A lot of jealousy from friends. And if you have an older sibling, they can be very difficult and you will not see eye to eye with them. And the 11th house can deal with gains in Aquarius. You're extremely smart to have Mars in Aquarius and you find ways to make large sums of money. And you will probably be successful with real estate and so will people with that Mars being in the 10th house in Capricorn.
So if you have Aries rising and your Mars sits in the 12th house, that means that you've got Mars in Pisces.
And you're very compassionate and you're a healer. You want to help people. This is what you love to do. You may even go into a profession of health and healing to really help others. And remember Mars in the 12th house, you may have some secret enemies, people that come at you when you least expect it. You think they're your friends, they end up being anything but friends. Be aware of that and be aware of finding a place of protection, because sometimes this can deal with thieves or people that come come when you least expect it to take from you. But also with Mars in Pisces, in the 12th house, you have very vivid dreams, but sometimes they disturb your sleep. You can't sleep peacefully. And if this is the case, there's something from your past that you need to look into that's causing the disruption in your sleep patterns later in life. That's Mars, ruler of the chart. But the ruler of the chart in the 12th House, you need your time alone. You thrive on it and it's what recharges your batteries. So take that time out to be alone and process everything. So that covers all these signs that the ruler of the chart, if you have an Aries ascendant, can be in. And when it's in certain houses. This is just the beginning of understanding astrology. When you look at the planets that rule all the different houses in terms of what house they reside in, it gives you mountains of information that can help guide your life. So with that I'll close.
