Ask Joni #2: Questions and Answers to Your Questions About Astrology!

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to continue with the Ask Joni and. And what I'm about to do right now is I'm taking all of your questions from the first Ask Joni. And I'm going to answer as many as I can in an allotted amount of time because, oh my goodness, there were so many questions and there were so many great questions. I feel like I kind of know you guys now. It was a lot of fun sorting through them. And I think I'm going to continue to do this because I think there's a lot that can be learned and I can share my knowledge and really kind of connect with all of you and all my friends and students and fans out there. So this is just a really, really fun project. So let me begin with. I'm going to give the question and then I'll give my answers. So let's go. So the first question that I want to use today is, and this is by Sunflower, how should the planetary positions of somebody be for someone who wants to win the lottery? Oh my God. So many people want to know if and when they're going to win the lottery. I'll Never forget about 15 years ago, I had a client come in my office and she sat down and said, I don't want to know if. I want to know when I'm going to win the lottery. And that was all she wanted to know from her chart. And sometimes it's just not there so much. You've got to have a lot of dhana yogas, which Dhana yogas are the yogas that deal with wealth and the aspects. Now let me reframe this. I wrote a book in 2008 called how to Make Money Using Astrology. And the. The COVID the title is kind of misleading a little bit because really, really what I wanted to do was empower people to make money. It's not just about, you know, getting rich, making money. It's about the power and vibration of money and how it should be used for good. But I have a chapter in there with about 15 people that won the lottery. And what I surm the most out of that was that Jupiter and Rahu were in a trine, in a trinal aspect in the sky, that is. So when they come together and form a trine, then if you have a natal planet, and especially if you have one of your nodes, Rahu or Ketu, in a trinal aspect to either Jupiter and Rahu in the sky and what's a trinal aspect. It's 120 degrees away. But just for easy reference, I call that a 5, 9 aspect. So if you count from your planets to where Rahu or Jupiter are transiting and you count nine or five signs away, then it's there and that's when you're luckiest. Now let me give you a little clue. There is going to be a time when Jupiter and Rahu are going to be in a trinal aspect coming up in the sky. So what would happen is if you have one of your planets there, plus a little help from your Rahu or Jupiter. So in other words, if you have Jupiter or Rahu either conjunct or in a trine, it's great for money and winning lotteries. It's not so great for other things. We won't get into that. But around February 21st or 22nd.

Of 2021, Jupiter and Rahu will be in a trinal aspect with each other. And at that time. So it's going to be really late February, late March. If you have a planet that completes that trine, a grand trine, then you're very lucky financially at that time. But I recommend that you get my book how to Make Money Using Astrology, an entire chapter on that. And at the end of the book it gives all these indications I just spoke about. And I have had an article on my website under articles on Galactic Center.org concerning this. So I hope I answered your question. Next question. Joni, do you believe that after our bodies die we go to our real home? And do you think our real home location is above and beyond space? Well, and this is from.

Miji. Okay, and my answer to that is, you know, a lot of people have a lot of ideas about what they think it is. Nobody's really been there and come back. But I will say this. I had my very best friend pass away in the late 90s. And she communicated and told me so many things about the other side. And I have no doubt about it now because she actually. I mean, it's a long story, but she actually proved that she was communicating with me. Because one time I said, lynne, if this is really you communicating with me, make this song come on the radio right now. The minute I said that, that song came on. So that was really. I said, okay, I'll never discount this again. But the way that she made it sound, she says that you are.

With everything. There is no separation. You are one with everything. So it's nothing that's outside of us. I think it's almost like different dimensions that we're in all at the same time. And she said, it's like you're beneath the water and I'm in the air. And the reason why it's so hard to communicate is the density of the planet Earth, the heaviness, and I'm out here where it's light, but I'm one with everything. She said being in the bodies is so limiting and separating. It's so much more natural to be one with everything. And she says this is the natural way to be. Yes, where we are now is totally unnatural. And the reason why there's so much fear is because we're separate from everything and everyone. And when we pass, we're one with everything and everyone. So I hope that describes a little bit. But she also said this. You can't imagine what it's like. It's something beyond your physical comprehension and senses. So it's very hard to describe. So going on, here's a question.

About. Let's see. Malide says that when you do predictions for each sign for each month, you mention if the Moon, the Moon sign, or the Ascendant sign, what would you differentiate between if the person's Moon is in a sign? In other words, what I'm surmising from this, which one do I read from and why do I give two different the Moon or the Ascendant? Well, I have come to realize the Moon is how we feel about things. And sometimes it is actually more accurate than the Ascendant. It's like every single time I miss something in a chart, I realize it's because I didn't take it from Chandra Lagna. In other words, looking at the Moon as the first house. And they say in India even that the transits from the Moon are actually more important than the transits from the Ascendant. And every time I'm seeing something's not working, I'm like, put it from the Moon, and there's the answer always. So I'm starting to lean almost towards looking at the Moon as the Ascendant more than the Ascendant. But of course, the Moon stays in a sign for about two and a half days. So it's not as personal. But the Ascendant stays in a sign for two hours from beginning to end. So it's definitely more personalized, but with so much inaccuracy with astrology, not knowing our time of birth. Always look from the Moon. Remember, it's about how you're feeling about things. And isn't that the Most important thing, if you have all the riches in the world, but you're unhappy, that's what your experiences more so than what is actually going on. So never forget to really. I know it's complicated. Why do we look from two ascendants? I don't know. But we are not just one dimensional. There's so many dimensions and aspects to us that that's what this will give you. So never, never forget to look from both. Okay, now the next question is.

Meditate with me. How can you read mental illness in a chart like anxiety and depression? Well, I did do a YouTube video on this and it's about the isolated moon. So the moon deals with our mind, it deals with our emotions, how we feel. So especially when people are going through sati Sati where Saturn comes to the sign of the moon.

You'Re gonna feel pretty heavy sometimes depression. So it's what's reflective of the moon and mental illness. I find a lot of times has to do with extremes with the Moon. Whether it has Uranus conjuncted, whether there's Mercury. Mercury. Moon can really deal with some outrageous mindsets and sometimes delusional. And Neptune with the Moon. Neptune can be delusions. Not always. Remember, there's always a positive and a negative way that these things can be interpreted. Therefore, it's really up to us if we're going to choose the negative or the positive of a lot of these planetary energies. But the way that we've been, our upbringing and that's all visible in the chart that determines a lot about our emotional responses to things which will go together with mental illness. So there's so many things. But I do find when there's aspects between the Moon and Mercury that they're both dealing with consciousness and thought, that this can cause some issues with mental illness being over the top, never stopping the thought process. But there's Nakshatras such as the moon being in shadow Bishak that can have some mental problems and things and sometimes just hard to cure diseases. But there's many variables. It's not just one thing, but the moon. Mercury and how the moon is placed will give you a very.

Clear indication of consciousness and mind. That's actually why I wrote my book Moon Mind and Consciousness. All about the mind and how it operates. So the next question is by Chris Smith. My brother's an expert at investing. He has made a fortune on investing in the stock market. He made 40k in two weeks. He. He put in. He put in. When it dropped and sold. He told me.

To trust him. To wait the first week of July to invest. He said the second quarter earnings will cause it to go down.

Listen, people wait till July 1st to invest. Well.

I know this is crazy times and I want to remind everyone.

I'm not a financial expert, but.

I don't even think it takes an astrologer or an expert to know that if you invest in some certain stocks right now.

You'Re going to do great. Because the stock market is not going to stay down. As I said before, it's just like 2008 or 1987. People that invested, when it went down, it went up a couple of years later. Those people were happy. They did well. They double tripled their money. The problem is you got to have money when the stock bond market drops like that. I was never in that position before. But, but if you invest, listen to this. If you invest in airline stocks right now, there's no way it's not going to go up. I mean, it's a no brainer. The government's going to bail them out. And I always tell people, now remember, I'm not an expert and I could be wrong, but Southwest Airlines, come on, that is the biggest airlines, they have more takeoff and landings than any airline in the world. And, and their stocks, rock bottom right now. The government's going to help the airlines. We all want to start traveling again. Guess what? It's a great stock to invest in right now. And another person asked about what's the deal? You keep talking about oil. Where is that gone? Why, why is that not panned out? Well, here's my prediction about oil. I think oil prices are going to go up in June. Why? Because transiting Mars is going to conjoin Neptune and Neptune rules oil and gas. And many, many times previously I've noticed whenever there's an aspect between Neptune and Mars, Mars aspecting Neptune, the oil prices go high. And I know they've been rock bottom for so long. What's been going on actually with oil is that Trump's been keeping the price of oil down. Why? Because it makes the economy so it made, you know, so many businesses such as airlines and in transit, all, you know, all the shipping is dependent on oil and gas.

So.

Once all of these changes come about and all of what's going on in the Middle east changes, oil prices will come up. It's not going to come up. I think June, wait and see around the second week of June, if there isn't a substantial rise in oil prices, of course that's not good for the economy because that means things are going to cost more to ship. And that has its repercussions. But for places like where I'm at, Texas, people will have their jobs back. So, all right, so next thing, Johnny Nest Neza, he says, is chart relocation relevant, such as you're born in a certain continent and you move to another? I believe it is. And it's not everything, though. It doesn't disqualify your chart, of course. But let me just say this. I've noticed that people, when they move, like from Europe to the United States or anywhere, you know where, it's a big change. If you change what you do with chart relocation.

It'S not astrocatography. It's actually astrolocality is what I call it. There's two different things that you can use. And astrolocality is when you move to a certain place, you change the longitude and latitude for your chart for that place that you're living instead of the longitude and latitude for where you were born. And that chart will give the results of that particular place where you've moved to. So that's a good tool to use as to where you should move, because your ascendant will change according to different places on Earth. Your entire chart will stay exactly the same. Just your ascendant will change. Therefore, all your planets will go into different houses. And astrocatography. Yes, I do astrocatography as well. When you put the planetary lines of your birth chart, drape them across the globe.

Certain lines will activate certain places. And this gives you an idea of where to live. And the way that I look at astrocatography is I look at it in terms of how those planets are placed in your Vedic birth chart. So Jupiter is in the eighth house, and it's debilitated. It's a very difficult planet. You're not going to want to move to your Jupiter line, whereas some astrologers just look at, especially Western astrologers. Jupiter's good, Saturn's bad. You don't want to move to your Saturn line. You want to go. No. It depends on how these planets are placed in your chart as to what planetary line you want to locate to or, or move away from. And sometimes when there's no lines, it might be a peaceful place because you don't have the intensity of all these different lines. And in that case, I use the relocation chart instead of the astrocatography to figure out the best place to live. And if you don't move that far, whereas using the relocation, let's say that nothing really changes but you can look at the divisional charts. That's how you get the change from close locations. I definitely look at the Navamshire chart and how things will manifest for certain places. So I hope I answered that. Okay.

So, Chering Patel, how do you know someone is your soulmate or twin flame in Vedic astrology? I hear this a lot. And basically.

You know what, that's just a term that somebody's made up. Twin flame, soulmate. I know everybody wants to know that there's this perfect, perfect person that resonates with who they are and everything's going to work out. But let me just say there is no perfect person. But the way that I would look at a chart is when you have. When you have another person and their chart aligns with your chart, such as your Venus is on their Mars, your Ketu is on their Venus. Ketu and Rahu are destiny. And when you have the nodes combined on someone else's natal planets, you're going to know that you were connected in a past life and you have karmas to work out, good and bad. It's not all that. There's this, you know, this is this idyllic person that's so perfect that doesn't exist. We're here to work out things with people. And yes, we can find a beautiful, wonderful relationship in this life. But I guess, you know, if you really want to say twin flame, that's going to be the person that has the same astrological signatures in their chart that you have. And your planets connect to their planets and their planets connect to your planets. Actually get this. For a relationship to work, you need to have Saturn aspects. So in other words, Saturn sitting on one of your planets, your Saturn or their Saturn. So combined. So when you find the charts connect, then this will be your soulmate because there is that aspect of what you're here to learn from them and work out with them.

Okay, here's a great question by Shannon Robertson. Shannon says, how can someone know in their chart when's a good time to start a business? And I love this question because.

This, it's just so pertinent. What is the best time? So you're always going to be looking at the 10th house. The 10th house is our career, it's our social standing, how we appear to the world. And when planets aspect or Transit through the 10th House is the best time to start. Especially the benefics, such as when Jupiter aspects the 10th house by either going through the 10th house or aspecting it by a trine or opposing it from the fourth house. But that's a longer standing aspect. So sometimes you can't get that since Jupiter is only in a sign per year. So you're going to want to look at something faster moving to get those exact dates. So I love when the sun is in the 10th house. Now of course every year at the same time every year the sun will be in your 10th house. But that's the best time for you business wise because the sun in the 10th house casts no shadows at the top of the chart. So the sun for 30 days will be at some point every year, every same time, every year will be in your 10th house. And you're going to want to find Mercury is a great planet because it deals with communication with business aspecting the 10th House. Now if you can't necessarily get it aspecting the 10th House, either transiting through it or aspecting it by opposition, then the next best thing would be one of these great planets to aspect the ruler of the 10th house. Whatever planet rules your 10th house, fortify that with a benefic aspecting it. Rahu in the 10th house is expected expansion and gains. Now you don't necessarily want ketu in the 10th house. That could be pulling back or Saturn aspecting the 10th or the ruler of the 10th, but actually Saturn, as long as you have other variables there can give the discipline and focus. And actually if you have both Jupiter and Saturn in or aspecting the 10th house together, that's the best because Jupiter gives opportunities for while Saturn gives the discipline and the focus to get things done. So.

Even Mars in the 10th house. But the carcass for the 10th house, which are going to be the planets you want to Fortify with the 10th are the sun are Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury. So those are the most important. Okay, hope that helps.

Next question by Jen Doe wants to know about secondary progressions. These are not part of Vedic astrology. That's western astrology. What we have in Vedic astrology are the dashas. And yes, they are. You're saying that the secondary progressions are relative to the moon. Why? Because it's really the only planet in a secondary progression that makes the most movement year after year. The others, you know, especially Jupiter and Saturn, they move so slow you can't really get anything out of it. So yes, in the western technique of.

The secondary progressions you're going to be looking at the moon the most. But in Vedic we use the dashas. And let me just say this, I know all of you guys are very much entrenched in Western astrology. But once I really, really learned all the basics and how to use Vedic, I found it unnecessary to even look at that anymore. You'll do the same thing. But the dashas are stellar in terms of prediction. They give the big picture of how things are going to be occurring throughout your life. And they're so easy to read. And then combining it with transits, you're going to have all the tools you need to really forecast and see where you're headed in the future. Trust me. Okay.

You mentioned about Venus and Pluto in the last question and answer.

And so she wants to know about Mars, Pluto, opposition and chart. What is that like? Well, you know immediately when you think of Pluto. Pluto is so vast and explosive and it just magnifies things. But it's deep. It's the underworld and Mars triggering that could really represent and enormous depth, enormous knowledge from the deepest aspects of the soul. You see, when I think about Pluto, all I think about is every single definition for what the eighth house, that's Pluto. So it can be research, it can be depth, it can be all sorts of things that can deal with the underworld and even extreme explosions of emotion with Mars triggering it. Of course, the houses they're in and the signs are in will be relative as well. And it's not always a bad thing. It can be enormous energy and depth and the ability to research things like nobody else can.

So now the time is up. I have gone over many of the questions and what I'm going to do is I'm going to make a series of different videos where I will answer questions. So but with this one, I'm going to wrap it up. I don't want these to be over over 30 minutes because for most of you we're busy and we don't want videos that are going to take all day.
