Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I'm going to continue on with the questions and answers. So we have got some amazing questions. I mean there's so many great questions. And I'm going to continue to do this just because I feel like I can share so much information and help people understand the things they just don't know about Vedic astrology. So the first one I'm going to go with is Anne McCracken and I know you, Ann. I think I've done your chart many times. But she's asking I found almost 100% of the time, well, be careful with that hundred percent. But anyway that when she's in a birth chart involving a hard aspect of Pluto and Venus that there's sexual abuse. Well, consider this. Pluto is the underworld. It's that deep dark essence of things. It's profound, it's huge. And Pluto, when it aspects Venus, Venus is love, it's relationship. So yes, it can. What I find it deals with many times is yes, it can have sexual abuse because Pluto is very reminiscent of what the eighth House, which deals with sexual abuse. But it can deal with deep betrayal, deep betrayal in love and relationships as well. That's what I found as well. So I agree with you. But, but it's not always dire, you know, sexual, deep, dark abuse. And the hard aspect, by the way I think you're referring to is either the conjunction opposition or the square.

Alphamens wants to know. I have a question. Can you tell us about the upcoming scientific discoveries of 2020? I can't give you exactly is, but I know that it's going to involve energy and vibration because the last time that Jupiter Ketu was together in Sagittarius was when electromagnetic waves were discovered. And I believe this is going to bring together energy, medicine and how we work with vibrations to heal because for the most part we're always looking for.

Vaccine or a medicine that will kill the virus, such as antibiotics. No, it's something about vibrations and light and energy that we're going to start tapping into. And we already use so much energy to heal, such as radiation, but it destroys the whole body, but it does kill the cancer and a lot of this. But now we're going to figure out a way. You know, I think it's reminiscent going back to the previous theory of how the Reich machine worked. The Wright machine was when they sped up the vibrational frequency in the body at certain points where there was cancer, cancer couldn't grow and it didn't destroy the whole body. So I know that there's going to be discoveries in the way that we heal and it will be using medicine. And the discoveries, of course is how these electromagnetic waves in our world are affecting us. How can we not be affected with so much going on? I think lots of energy and plus the way that we travel. The way that we travel is really kind of barbaric with engines and fire. There are going to be new discoveries on how to move such as, you know, forgive me, but I believe in aliens. I think in this vast universe with trillions of suns, there is other life form. But I think there's more advanced life form that can travel. And I think we're going to start using different discoveries with that.

Transylvia wants to know what defines more accurately our native mindset. The moon sign, the moon's Nakshatra ruler, the dispositing planets of the moon, all of them. You have to take it all into account. And yes, the position of Rahu and Ketu are going to tell you so much about your destiny. What you're here to do, why you're here. Rahu is our purpose, our future, while Ketu is our past. What we have discovered before and how we are going to heal this life. Because what happens when you're looking at the past and the future, you're focused in the present because that's where you're going to have the opportunities to deal with this. But absolutely then. But don't forget somebody else asks a question like this later on, you're not just looking at the moon's Nakshatra, the planet that rules that Nakshatra. Because remember, planets rule all the Nakshatras. Such as Ardra is ruled by Rahu, such as Mula is ruled by Ketu. So those Nakshatra dispositing planets give you more information about your destiny and what you're here to do. So look at where you, your dispositing Nakshatra dispositors are for Rahu and Ketu gives you great depth about what you're here to learn and grow through.

Okay. Now I love this one because I. This is, this is something that I want to know too.

And this is May Church.

Wants to know what are the indications of overweight and weight loss to see in a chart. Okay, well, Jupiter and Rahu expand. Saturn contracts. So if you have Jupiter in Rahu, Jupiter or Rahu aspecting the second house, it can actually make you eat more because the second house is what goes into our mouth, it's what we consume. So if you have Saturn going through the second house, you're not eating as much, you can lose weight. But if you have Jupiter or Rahu aspecting the second house, you will tend to eat more. And even the Jupiter maha dasha people tend to eat more. Yes, Somebody else asked that later on I have to share with you. I'm in Jupiter Rahu right now, and I'm telling you, I. It does create weight gain.

And what happens though is right after you finish Jupiter Rahu, that's the end of Jupiter's maha dasha, I'll enter into Saturn in about a year, a little over a year. So.

I hope I lose some weight when I go into Saturn, but I don't want it to be because I'm sick sometimes. That's what it could be about. But yeah, and another thing is they say when planets are in the first house, you can gain or lose weight because the first house is your physical body. And so Jupiter aspecting the first house or Rahu physical body is bigger, or Saturn, it can contract. So even dealing with the sixth house, this can be relative. And also to losing weight, I think you got to have willpower. So you're looking at Mars as the energy. Do you have the courage, the willpower to go on a diet and exercise that would be relative to Mars aspecting the third house. The houses, what are the upachaya houses? Houses 3, 6, 10, and 11. Put your Mars there. It'll give you more willpower to fight and overcome the obstacles of temptations, of overeating. So it gives you, gives you courage. Okay, hope that answers that. Okay, here's another good one. Fabulous.

Knowledge about retrograde planets in the lagna chart, how it affects the houses, the person and the dasha period. So retrograde planets are going a different direction than all the other planets. They're different. So there's something about it. And yes, there is something from a past life that was incomplete that you came back to complete when you have a retrograde planet. And another thing I find, when a planet is retrograde relative to what part of the body that planet rules, you could have some deficiencies or health problems dealing with that planet, such as Saturn can deal with the bones, the teeth. Mars is the blood and circulation. The sun is the heart. So of course the sun's never retrograde. But I was just giving you some of the ideas of what, what body parts that the planets rule.

But a retrograde planet, when you do go into a Dasha and that planet's retrograde. Yes, it is delayed. The effects are always held back and delayed somewhat. When a planet is retrograde, it reverses the energy of that planet and it actually makes it quite the opposite sometimes. Because if you have an exalted planet that's retrograde, it may behave as a debilitated planet. Or likewise, if you have a debilitated planet retrograde, it can actually act like an exalted planet. So that's another concept.

Okay, this is a good one. This is woo wee. Well, I want to ask about the Vedic Western confusion. I have five planets in Aquarius in Western and that fits. But Vedic, I have six planets in Capricorn. Well, let me just say, not about all this personality stuff. I don't know how people have been. So I guess it's just an easy concept and people attach to it. So you think you're those personalities. But astrology, so much more deeper than that. It's mathematical. Here's the deal. You may have all those planets in Capricorn, but Saturn, the dispositing planet of Capricorn probably tells the whole story of what you're all about because it's, it's a dispositor. Let's say Saturn goes to the 11th house. The 11th house is much like Aquarius. So you're going to have all these Aquarian tendencies that you associate with this type of personality. So it's really where the planet's rulers are. It's where the dispositors are and what houses they're in. If you have five planets in the 11th house, it's going to be very much like the 11th sign, Aquarius. And if you have, let's say some people have asked me, you know, I'm so much, I resonate so much like Scorpio, but I become Libra. But I have all these qualities of Scorpio. How can that be? I go, well, are your planets in the eighth house? That's the energy and the vibration that will be perceived as Scorpionic energy, the eighth house. So it sees the houses, it's the rulers, it's the aspects. And on top of that, always read this from the moon, make the moon the ascendant. If those five planets fall in the 11th or the 5th house or whatever house it falls in and then where is the dispositing planet Saturn? How does that manifest in terms of what house it's in, what planets it's. With all of these variables, the aspects and the divisional charts, it's so much more than I'm an Aquarius. You're a Capricorn. That is so surface. It's just not real astrology. Okay, so Glinda manufacturer Lova. Can you tell us more? About what? About how you determine a person's exact birth time. Well, many times if I don't have a birth time, I'll just look at the chart from the Moon, making the Moon the Ascendant. But then there's those people that definitely want to know their birth time. I can rectify it. Rectification is such a process, though. I take like 10, at least 10 experiences in life, and I see where all the planets are transiting in these major events in life, and I have to make it fit according to where the Ascendant should be. And yes, I do this, but I'm telling you, I put a steep price on rectification because it is so time consuming. Sorry, but it just really is. And plus, I've got to make it all the dashes fit in all of the divisional chart, the Navamsha fit. It is time consuming and. And it takes a lot of patience, but it can be done. So if you really, really want it accurate, it can be rectified. But sometimes, if it's just between two Ascendants, I can ask specific questions where I can figure out exactly what Ascendant it is or even with the Navamsha. Okay, so let's take one more. Okay. Valentina Nakalavia wants to know, I wonder how to predict the real estate market trend these days. Many people are concerned about it. Yes, I do think real estate is going to go down in price. Why? Because with this coronavirus, I mean, a lot of people aren't going to be able to afford their homes. They're going to go up for sale. So it's going to be a buyer's market. But when you're looking at real estate, always look at Mars. Mars is the karaka, meaning indicator for real estate. If it's strong, if it's powerful, that's what you got to be looking for. Is it transiting through a particular sign or house? But Mars has been extraordinarily powerful lately in Capricorn, but it's with Saturn. They are archenemies. So that's where the markets are going through a big transformation. But watch how Mars evolves. And as Mars goes retrograde in September, it's going to go retrograde in September, and it's going to station in December. That's going to be when the market, real estate markets, really fall out. So if you're trying to sell your house, better get it done now before that happens. But if you're trying to buy a house, get ready. It's going to be a buyer's market.
