Astrology Alert: October’s Most Volatile Week Starts Now

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, I'm going to be talking about the third week in October, and this is the week of communication breakdowns. Serious breakdown with communications. I'll tell you why. This is the week that we have Mars conjunct Mercury. So we're going to be looking at that in depth this week. Watch out. This is where some radical things are about to emerge and happen because this is also the week of the new Moon. So let's get going here. Let's start talking about this is going to be from October 15th through the 21st. I'm here in Dallas, Texas. Let me know where you're from down below in the comments. And I'm talking mainly around noon central time. Center of the day is what I'm talking about. And remember, I'm basing everything on the moon. The cycle of the moon, the phases of the moon, what's going on in accordance to how we feel as a collective group. That's what the moon rules. All right, so October 15th, this is a Wednesday. The moon sits in cancer and it is in the Nakshatra called Aslatia. Oh, that's a crazy Nakshatra. Its symbol is a snake. So it gives you all these impressions of sneakiness. But it also deals with healing because remember, the snake is a symbol in the medical staff the doctors use. So this is very, very interesting, the dichotomy of the moon being here. But do be aware. People will be more, you know, underhanded. That's it. When the moon's in a slatia, they will be. And more hypnotizing, that they can mesmerize and hypnotize you like a snake coming out of being hypnotized by the flute. And looking at this, the moon, just by the fact that it's in cancer, people are more sensitive. It's just a fact. The moon is more sensitive in the sign of cancer. So people are overly sensitive and react to things differently, I promise you. And still we do have Jupiter in the 12th from the moon, which represents, well, that things of the past come up for you to heal. This is a good thing. It's a great thing, as a matter of fact. And I love that because it clears the decks for the future. When you heal your past. Ketu being in the second house, things about family are surfacing. Arguments and even disagreements within your family are occurring. This is important that you know this because.

Mercury and Mars are in the fourth house from the moon. Fourth house is our family. Maybe you're bringing things.

Renovating things in your home, dredging things up, tearing things up. Regardless, there can be some arguments within the home. Be aware of that, be cautious. And this will really pretty much flavor most of this month because it's tough, it's rough this month when it comes to trying to communicate with others.

Now I'm looking at October 6th, 16th. This is a Thursday. And the moon will be in Leo today. It goes into Leo and will be in Leo the entire day. And around 12 noon central time zone, the moon will be in the Nakshatra called Magga. This is a very important Nakshatra. It actually deals with our family heritage, our bloodlines, our ancestors, what they did and how they contributed to our fate and who we are today. There's lots of interesting realizations. A lot of this even comes to us, believe it or not, through dreams, the dream state. We are connected through our bloodlines, our family, our heritage, our genes. And this is the day really that you should pay homage to that, because that's what Maga is all about. But being in Leo, this is also Leo. Aquarius are the signs that deal with politics.

It just seems like everything's political today. Everything. And that means that this day will be no different. There will be lots of people the realm blaming everything politically. I hate that. But it's the way it goes. So be aware, people will bring this up. And because the moon is going to be crossing over the fixed star Regulus. Regulus is the star of kings. And the moon is approaching Ketu. So within the next few days, there's something about losses with kingship or leaders or what they represent to us. All this is all manifesting clearly now. Jupiter does sit, boy. It's almost, almost in Cancer, but not yet. It's still in gemini in the 11th house. This would be a good day to meet new friends, new associates, people. But your communications will be distraught. And as a matter of fact, it's not a good day for the next few days this week to contact your sisters or brothers. Because the Mars Mercury are in the third house today. And the next day means arguments. So lay low from that and you might find that you suddenly have to jump in the car and go somewhere. Short trip, short, maybe across town. But something about getting in the car and moving fast and moving forward with things. Yes. So.

That'S the interesting time frame. The moon being with Ketu for the next few days, you feel a deep sense of loss and remembrances of things in the past, especially about your family.

I'm looking at October 17th, it's a Friday and the moon is with Ketu in the sign of Leo. Nakshatra is Purva Falguni. And the Falgunis deal with relationships. They're the marriage Nakshatras pray Purva and Uttara Falguni. So this is a time to work spiritually on relationships, heal them, make them right. This is the best day for this. And I just gotta say that.

This can be a profound healing understanding of each other if you allow it.

So another thing is Venus does sit in the second house from the moon. You can use your your speech to sweet talk people, get them to sway them in a particular way. Don't be a manipulative, just be in a way that's useful and helpful to others. And still we have the Mars, the Mercury in Libra. But the sun today just entered Libra. Yes, SideReally October 17th is the day the sun comes into Libra. And this is the sign of peace negotiations.

And really.

Caring about others. And in the area of relationships. The only problem is Mars and Mercury disrupted there and and people can be a tad bit passive aggressive all during this week. Mark my words. This is not an easy week. Even though this day is particularly better in many respects with friendships, but not with siblings. And.

This is the day that the sun is actually.

Going to be squaring Jupiter. Yes. So the sun right before it leaves Virgo, because it makes that transition today is in a square to Jupiter while it's at 29 degrees of Virgo. And this can mean some breakthroughs. They're not easy, it's tough. A square means square. Something of an obstacle comes. But you have a major breakthrough because it's Jupiter, which is the great benefic. And.

I want to say it's right before Jupiter changes signs. It's like the ending of something, a breakthrough into something new. That's what's actually occurring for us all on this day. And another thing, the sun on this day is conjunct the fixed star Spica.

The most auspicious fixed star of the heavens. And what that tells me are there are many breakthroughs and changes over into new things. This is interesting. And Spica is auspicious, so something good is coming out of it.

Now I'm looking at October 18th. This is a Saturday and the Moon around noon time central time zone.

Just moved into Virgo and it is in the Nakshatra, Uttara Falguni. Uttara Falguni is the Nakshatra that deals with marriage, relationships, uniting with someone and the Moon is nearing Venus. This is a time of relationships, but the Moon is opposed Saturn. So there are some major lessons to be learned in relationships. But don't worry, Saturn's not all bad. It means you can learn something. Yes, it's heavy, but you're going to learn something that's going to improve your relationships dramatically. That's what I will say when with this day. And here's another thing. Mars is actually. It's almost exactly with Mercury, but Mars and Ketu are the same degree. They're actually in what's called a sextile. But this unites these two planets in an unusual way. It is a day of letting go. Letting go of the anger and the frustration, the rage that we've been feeling all month. We've got to know that things are being well. We need to let go. But let me tell you something. People are not. They are not going to let go. Because.

What you're going to find is that Mercury and Mars will be together and really they're on top of each other within a degree today. People are angry and they're fighting. This is a very complex time in our world and society, I have to say. And yeah, October 18th is the day. Oh, my gosh, look at that. Jupiter is now Cancer. That is such a big deal. Now Jupiter is going to go into Cancer very briefly because Jupiter stays in a sign for about a year, but there's some points where it kind of touches foot in the other sign but retrogrades back out. So it like gives a sneak preview. Boom, and it's out again. So Jupiter's in cancer. October 18th till December 5th. It's going to give us a sneak preview of what it will bring by next June, which means a massive healing. But I think on this day there is going to be disruption and fights and turnarounds and changes.

That.

Are unbelievable. Going to leave it at that. This is an unbelievable time historically, history. Can't even put my finger on how radical the change is.

It's totally unpredictable what's going on in the world and in our faces, the arguments, the fighting and the anger.

So.

Let me move to the next day. I'm looking at October 19th. This is a Sunday and we have the Moon in Virgo all day. Remember when the Moon is in Virgo, though, here is what I will say.

People are more critical, they're more scrutinizing. The criticisms can hurt. Be aware of this. But it's interesting because the Moon is lining up with Venus today.

And Moon. Venus can be very pleasant.

Can Be like love, emotions, support of one another. The Moon is in the Nakshatra Hasta which means to grab hold of things, to really unite with things. But the Moon is opposing Neptune and with that, that's a difficult time. Neptune means you can't see it all, what's really happening. And yes, you think things are kind of glorious and nice with the moon, with Venus opposing Neptune. But, and this is a big but.

Mercury and Mars are exactly together. They are in what we call in Vedic astrology, uda, planetary war. And this deals with.

We cannot come together. We are fighting, we are angry.

There is disruption going on in the world and.

Communications are lost. There's war, there's fighting, there's disruption.

Maybe this is some blow ups that are going to finally bring us to some peace. Because I do see before Jupiter leaves cancer, December 5, peace treaties coming about. But there's so much going on this day, it's a really disruptive day. And Mercury is in that connection with Ketu. Mercury's 2324, so is Ketu 2324.

There's losses through. And here's what Mercury really does rule the media. It's coming out how bad the media is and how it really does.

Brainwash people. People are being brainwashed. They have been, but now they're resisting the fact that they're seeing the truth. And you know what? That Mercury Mars conjunction, you're going to want to know where it is in your natal birth chart. And the way that you can figure that out immediately is really you've got to try my planner. So go to galactic planner, put in your chart and see if this Mercury Mars are affecting you on any of your natal planets. The planner will tell you and it will give you advice about what it is and what can be prevented. And let me just say this, don't go into any, any.

Arguments with people, okay? You can't do that, not today because you're not going to win. It's going to be ferocious. Okay, now.

Let me move forward to the next day.

Which is October 20th. It's a Monday and the Moon is in Virgo about the whole day. But it's going to be in the Nakshatra called Chitra. This is a bright shining Nakshatra but it is ruled by Mars. Don't forget Chitra can be fierce and people are fiercely attacking one another because Mars and Mercury are in planetary war today. And even on the time of this is a dark moon.

And this is where the moon is behind the sun. And that's where we can't see things clearly. In Western it's called the balsamic moon. And I find it to be a time of deep introspection. It is not a time to start new things. You gotta wait till after the new moon. This is a time for finishing up old things you've already started. It's not for new things. And people are at odds right now. It's a crazy time in the world. I know Jupiter's now shifted into cancer. But sometimes that means we need more protection.

And the idea around war and fighting is serious. You're going to find more explosions and war going on between this time that Mercury and Mars are together. That's this whole week. I got to tell you, this is a treacherous week.

Now I'm going to go to the last day.

And I'm looking at October 21st. This is.

The day of the new moon. The new moon will occur around 4 degrees of Libra. And it's in the Nakshatra Chitra, which is harsh and direct. But Mars and mercury are 1 degree apart from each other. They're not in planetary war anymore. But man, people are fighting and angry and hostile. That's this whole week. But the moon being in Chitra makes it even more hostile. But at least it is in Libra, although it's approaching Mars now. So Libra's not going to calm things down. And Libra's symbol is a scale, a balance. People realize things have to be balanced now. We have to. We can't continue with this kind of fighting. So there are many realizations coming about. But now at least we're moving into a new Moon period. A new beginning, a new start. For the next two weeks, this will improve.

So.

That covers the third week of conflict fighting. Anger, hostility, communication breakdown, war at all costs. So let's take it easy this week and let's stay tuned for next week.
