August 2019 Predictions: The World is Consumed with FEAR!

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the month of August, and I have lots to talk about. Well, for one thing, Mercury's direct. Mercury goes direct on the very last day of July. So I know it's still in what we call the shadow period where Mercury remains in the degrees that it traveled when it was retrograde. But still, this is progress moving forward. But my favorite aspect that's happening this month is Jupiter will turn direct on August 11th. That's a big deal. Jupiter is all about prosperity, wealth, positive attitude. So you're going to see a bit of a change this month, a little bit more optimism, people changing their viewpoints to be more open, more accepting. But still we have the confines of the Saturn. Saturn conjunct Ketu. This aspect is consuming this whole year. And when I think about Saturn, I think about fear. Saturn rules fear, and so does Ketu. Now, they have been traveling together in the sign of Sagittarius, which is the sign that deals with the truth. So what are we seeing here? People want to know the truth, but there's so much fear that surrounds the possibilities of what if we've been wrong.

That there's just too much going on here. So let me explain a little bit about this. So Saturn will exactly conjoin Ketu, which is the south node of the moon. Remember, I'm talking about Vedic sidereal astrology, not tropical western. And their placements have been coming together back and forth in the sign of Sagittarius. So the major conjunctions have been between May and September. Looking at May 2, June 24 and September 28. These are the times that Saturn conjoins with Ketu. Now, they're all within the realm of about 20 to 26 degrees of Sagittarius, that they're on and off interchanging back and forth. So this really because of Saturn's retrograde cycle. It's going back and forth, crossing over the indicators of fear. So fear is rampant in our society right now. Everyone's unsure, unclear about what.

The feelings that we get that something is about to give, something's about to happen. And let me say this, this month will be consumed with A lot anger and frustration. Even though Jupiter's direct because Mars and the sun are traveling together. They travel together for approximately about three or four months. But when they conjoin. Exactly conjoined. This will be August 31st. So on this day you're going to find that Mars and the sun really do stir up things. And let me just say this, they're hot. So what's going on? There's not only heated emotions and feelings around the world, but there's the heat. People are hot in the northern hemisphere of this globe. So it's, you know, whenever we have this human emotion of anger, frustration, it reflects in what's going on actually in the natural world. And another thing is the day that Jupiter turns direct, August 11, another astrological event is Uranus is going to turn retrograde. So one goes direct, the other goes retrograde. And what is that all about? Well, Uranus shakes things up. It's called the Great Awakener and it does deal with earthquakes. So you're going to find that things are still shaken extremely in the world, but so are the human feelings that are stirring everything up. And most of all, the thing that I feel like is controlling the world right now is fear. We're going to talk about fear because this is an issue and it's been coming up throughout the whole time that Saturn and Ketu are in the sign of Sagittarius religious fundamentalism.

So let me just go ahead and say this. I have seen so many people write about Satan. I mean, I thought that was a thing of the past with all the religious beliefs and us shifting to a way of mindset of spirituality not controlled by the religious fears and beliefs that this God is going to punish us and that there's this devil that's coming down on everyone to get them. You know, I like a good conspiracy theory every now and then, but no to say everything is controlled by Satan. Interesting. Saturn, Satan. Those words are really similar. Why? Because they're all about fear and the world being consumed with fear. The more people talk about devils and devil worshiping, the more there's fear. They're projecting fear in the world because they're so fearful they attach themselves to this fear. So we've got to get out of this mind of being controlled by fear because we can change by changing ourselves. And remember this, I love this in the Course in Miracles. The Course in Miracles says there's only two emotions in the world, fear and love. And when you come from a place of love, that's going to be the energy that Will really help you evolve and experience the life that you want to live, which is full of happiness and joy. But when you're controlled by fear, guess what happens? It blocks everything in your system, including your insights. Because when we connect to our insights, our intuition, our inner knowing that comes from a place of love, not fear. And if you really want to talk about religion, God is a God of love and doesn't judge you and put you in eternal damnation with all this negativity that's being, come up with these religious fanatical beliefs that Saturn, Ketu are here putting on the world. So the way I look at astrology is yes, you can see all these trends, but how can we use this knowing to expand our awareness, our consciousness and change. And the way that I believe you can change to really get to the point of your higher knowing, your intuition, that connection to your divine is to eliminate the fear and come from a place of compassion and love. Love is of the essence, love is the divine. So, so all of this fear mongering has to come to a close and if it doesn't, it'll just explode on everyone. And that's the direction the world is going right now. So talking a little bit more about the astrology of what's to come, I see so many planets this month in Leo. We have Mercury, sun, Venus and Mars all in the sign of Leo towards the second half of the month. And what is Leo? You know, from the perspective of Vedic astrology, Leo is associated with the constellation that has the fixed star Regulus, which is the heart of the lion. And what does that represent? It represents love. It also represents loyalty, integrity, leadership. That's a sign of Leo that I know.

What is coming out this month is actually a lot of events dealing with leadership, integrity and loyalty. Remember, all that's being exposed in the world is also a reflection of what you're all about. So what you see is what you have to heal within your life. And I believe that to be loyal, to be with integrity, because what does that really do but build trust. And trust is what we need, especially to experience the life devoid clear of fear. Because you got to trust and have faith in the goodness of the world in order to have the happiness and the joy that I know is is here on this planet and right now. But the whole time these planets are in Leo, guess what's in opposition to them? Neptune. Neptune will bring out all that is hidden and the truth and a lot of things that deal with spirituality and consciousness and awareness. It's the deeper Essence, Neptune, what's beyond this world. And I believe it's being revealed. A lot of things that have been hidden for so long are being revealed. When you have Neptune in transit, it's opposed the Sun. The sun deals with leadership. So you're going to see these truths come forth and this is going to be empowering for not only the world, but you as well. So another astrological event that's going on this entire month, just about, just about is Venus is going to be combust the sun. So Venus comes together and it is traveling with the sun way too tightly I might add. Venus rules relationships. And you're going to find throughout this month that issues of relationships, personal surfacing, this is a time to heal them because it is a wipeout period when Venus is close to the sun. And another thing that Venus rules is diplomacy and peace. So we're looking at how can we better speak to people so that they can understand what we have to say. And this is in terms of your relationships. Yes, your love relationships, how you treat one another. This is an important month to come to many realizations with love, relationships, the truth and most of all, ridding ourselves of this rampant fear. Because with Ketu being with Saturn, yes, we're going to feel the sense of intense fear. But every time you feel that sense of deep fear.

And if you're in question whether or not you are feeling a sense of fear, ask am I coming from a place of fear or am I coming from a place of love? You will know in the pit of your stomach what the answer is. And if you are coming from a place of fear, say I choose again and come from this place of love. And you're going to find that all of a sudden you, you open and you know the truth. This is what this is all about. So another thing is I noticed that going on this month, everyone wants to know about the economy. Well, there's going to be of course some changes coming, but this month it's like some big cyclic changes won't be so obvious. And as I keep talking about oil prices, I know it hasn't gone out the roof yet. But recognize this, Neptune rules oil. And anytime I see Neptune and Mars opposing one another, that's when usually oil prices go up. And that's what's going to be occurring throughout this month of August. So watch how fuel prices change and of course this will have an effect on the economy. But another thing, I want you to be very, very cognizant of.

Whatever you don't understand and whatever you don't have information on. You can't be a judge, you can't have a hardcore opinion about things you really don't know anything about. People do that all the time with astrology. Have they studied it? No, but they'll say that it doesn't work. It's nonsense.

I will take your opinion if you've studied astrology deeply and then say it doesn't work. But astrology is not really where I'm going with this. I'm talking about everything in life and that leads me to one of my favorite subjects, which is cryptocurrency. I know you guys are sick of me talking about it, but it is the wave of the future and if you don't understand it, fear it.

Just as like I said before, people didn't understand how credit cards could work and they didn't understand the Internet, how it worked. So what did they do? They feared it. Just like anything else, that you don't have any solid information, you just hearsay or in passing. That's not researching a subject.

And if you have researched something and you feel like you know what you're talking about, yes, voice an opinion. But too many people have opinions based on what? Fear. And that's my whole gist of what I'm getting at this entire month, because this is the month that I feel like through now, through September, people are coming from a place of deep seated fear that can be eliminated by what? Information?

Knowledge. Knowledge is the truth and the truth is knowledge. And when you open to that, guess what? Fear is gone. So I want you to practice this month asking yourself, am I coming from a place of fear? Am I coming from a place of love?

Watch how your life changes as you come from a place of love. And you can make a difference and will in this world and throughout this very important month where things are getting heated up, intensified, the fanaticism goes out the roof, but it's all based on fear.
