AUGUST 8–14 ASTROLOGY: Massive Global Shifts Begin!

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the second week in August and what I'm talking about is August 8th through the 14th. Remember I am a Vedic sidereal astrologer. Astrologer. What I'm talking about are the true placements of where the planets are accordance to the stars. Now put down below where you're living so I can get a better feel of where everybody's coming from. And remember when I'm talking about this, I am talking about where the moon's placements are, how all the other planets are associated to the moon to get a feel of what's going on in the mass consciousness globally. And furthermore, when I'm talking about these times, I'm talking about Central Daylight Time. Yes, I'm in Dallas, Texas so I'm going to focus it from here. When I say it's noon, it could be a different time for you. When it's noon here then that means that it's 1pm in New York and mountain time would be earlier, like 11 and then Pacific time would be 10am so get a feel of where you are relative to where I am. And this is the day that the Mars Saturn will be exactly opposing each other. This is a really contentious aspect. Mars is a major trigger for things and for it to be exactly at 7 degrees opposing Neptune Saturn at 7 degrees expand expect some great conflicts. Mars can deal with violence and let me tell you another thing I'm thinking that this could deal with. Neptune deals with disease. So I hope you've been working on your health. I have been saying this in my newsletter in my YouTube for the month. Take care of your health, build your immune system.

Mars is in Virgo. Virgo is the sign of health and healing and as it aspects Neptune, Saturn there can be some major issues with disease going on.

So strengthen your body. Now another thing is I've often said that this Saturn, Neptune, well Saturn rules crude oil where Neptune rules gas and oil. Mars is a trigger. Expect something big to be happening in the area of oil and gas prices going up, some kind of explosive events, and possibly.

The inability for us to get the fuel that we need. Something's, something's blocking that. So this can have major repercussions. Also the economy. And let me just say this will flavor this whole week. But I find it very interesting that this day, Friday, is 8. 8, August 8th. 8 is a very profound number and it does deal with money in the economy many, many times. But in Chinese astrology they look at eight as it's a symbol of infinity, as a very positive number. But looking at this day, we have the moon in Capricorn and it will be in Capricorn the whole day. And it is in the Nakshatra called Shravana. Shravana is the ear that listening. And this can be a day that there is a ton of learning that takes place. This is what it's all about. And as we move up and look at this day, I mean we have got so many astrological signatures that are going on this entire week and even a few days before this. It doesn't have to be the dead on date just because Mars is the exact degree when it's applying an aspect, things can happen. It's like a few days before and a few days after. But definitely in the application of applying, it's more intense.

So last week and this day expect things to change. Pretty extreme. And.

This is the moon increasing in light. It's a day before the full moon. Actually, I think the full moon might happen late.

Hours. Yeah, hours after early morning of the 9th. But by the time you wake up in the 9th, the full moon will have already happened. So we are almost in the phase of the full moon which remember the moon illuminates the night sky, brings awareness and if you listen, you will get your answers. Absolutely, this is true. Let me move to now. I'm looking at Saturday, August 9th. This is after we've had the full moon. It happened in the wee early morning hours that we had the full moon in Capricorn. And this full moon happened at 22 degrees of Capricorn.

But by the middle of the day we are going to get on the 9th. Well actually soon after early in the day the moon is 29 degrees. Actually it's in the afternoon. So it's going to shift into Aquarius Today around.

Around 4:00pm Central Daylight Time. So in the middle of the day it will move from Capricorn to Aquarius. So the whole Time, it's in Capricorn. Remember it is time to expand, to get things done. But with this Mars, Mars and Saturn opposition, let me tell you a little bit, I'm still on August 9th because on this day and the next day, really this is so close. I'm going to say within a four day range. So before this and after this, Pluto, Uranus and Mars are all in a grand trine. This connects these planets. So what I'm going to say for this, this day and around this time, expect the unexpected. Major shifts in changes are due to occur that are going to change our consciousness, our awareness. This is a major time of transformational change. Mars is the trigger.

Now let me go to the next day. I am now looking at August 10th and August 10th is a Sunday. The Moon is completely in the sign of Aquarius and it shifts into the Nakshatra. Let me take this back. Yes, it's the whole day pretty much it's in the Nakshatra.

Shadow Bishak. That Nakshatra is intense. And let me just say this Nakshatra will deal with.

Major events. I gotta say this because Rahu is conjunct the Moon. The Moon's coming together with Rahu and Rahu rules Shadow Bishak. So this is a day of intense activity. Be aware there's going to be a major downturn I think in.

The economy. Something has to be happening by this time because Saturn, Neptune sit in the second house from the Moon. Meaning issues and problems with possibly money, but also within your family. Be aware there's something you're not seeing. And another thing is with Jupiter and Venus together, they're still in Ardra.

They sit in the fifth house from the Moon. So it is a day of creative design. Being more creative, being more expressive and possibly even expressing yourself through the written word because it's Venus, Jupiter are in Gemini. So there is actually really good use of this day and energy. Even though I know globally everything is coming to the surface and being purged with the Moon so intensely placed in Aquarius which means humanity. People are worried about what's going on with humanity and the likes of something very difficult happening. So.

Now I'm looking at August 11th and this is a Monday. The Moon has shifted. It's still in Aquarius all day but it has shifted into the Nakshatra Purva Bhadrapada. And that means it is exactly, exactly conjunct the moon. Rahu. Moon is exactly conjunct Rahu this day. And this is intense because. Well, I just got to say.

People'S minds are over the top worrying. Purva Bhadrapada means two faces. People can be two faced. People cannot be who they are. But this can also deal with people that are visionaries and want to make a difference in the world in terms of helping humanity. But it is a day of deep analysis. Mars goes to the eighth house from the moon. And I gotta say this, with the moon, with Rahu, this means Ketu goes opposite. This is not a good day for relationships. You might find that you feel disconnected and things just aren't the same.

But this is only for a few days. You'll get, you'll, you'll move out of this. It's not life changing in terms of the personal relationships. But yes, globally it probably is life changing. And today Mercury does turn direct.

And it is in cancer. So it's been stirring up all these emotions dealing with need for protection and security. This can be even in our personal relationships but definitely globally this affects us all in the world where things are very, very insecure. But now that Mercury shifted another direction, I want you to realize this.

That when Mercury changes its directions, people change their mind. It may not happen in a single day, but the trends and the tones of people will change now that Mercury is direct. And I think people will get more, more things done.

Now I'm looking at August 12th, this is a Tuesday and I'm looking at the Moon. It has shifted into Pisces today and of course it's going to cross over Saturn and Neptune today. Which means this will bring out some of the insecurities going on, the things we can't see. But in Pisces be aware the weather, the storms are turbulent and the moon is in a position opposing Mars with Saturn, Neptune. This will bring to the forefront Saturn some of the problems that have been going on in the world with oil and gas, with the economy and especially something to do with health and healing issues around this. This will bring this up. The Moon's Nakshatra is Uttara Badrapada which this Nakshatra pertains to. That's the back ends of the funeral cot, deals with death actually the day before while the moon was in Purva Bhadrapada. That's the front part of the funeral cot. So there's something going on that can denote death in the world. Mass death or major problems around this endings. We are in the cycle of the moon being in Pisces which is the last sign of the zodiac bringing things to closure and ending. If you're looking to buy A house on a personal level, it's a great day for that. We have the Jupiter Venus in the fourth house from the Moon. And the fourth house is real estate, land and property. So if you want a new home, now is the time, go for it. So that is a great thing of what this is definitely good for.

Now I'm looking at August 13th. This is a Wednesday.

The moon will be in Pisces all day, but it's in the last and final Nakshatra, Revati. And Revati is a good Nakshatra by and large. It deals with travels. It's ruled by the God Pushan, which is the God of travels. And they say if you travel when the Moon is in Revity, you're protected. I just see so many other things going on in the world, but I'll give that an advantage. Besides, Mercury is now direct, so it's calmed down a lot of the issues and problems around travel that have been going on for the past 20, 21 days while Mercury was retrograde. Now, once again, the Jupiter Venus are in the fourth house from the Moon. This day is even better for shopping for real estate or even having social gatherings in your home. This is the best time because the fourth house is your home, your family. And two benefics are there from the Moon. But we still have Mars in the seventh house from the Moon. So relationships are not going to be as easy as.

They will once we get Mars away from the Moon. So let's move on to August 14th. And on this day.

We have got. Yeah, that's good. We have got the Moon in Aries and it is in the Nakshatra all day. Ashwini. Aries and Ashwini deal with fast motion, moving fast. And you'll find that you'll. You'll be more compulsive, more impatient. You want to get things done. Now the moon is waxing, I mean, waning. So it's moving towards the. The new moon, which means it's a great time to finish up a lot of things that you've already started. But Ashwini means action. And looking at this, while the moon's in Aries, we have Jupiter and Venus in the third house in Gemini. So actually, did you know Sweeney deals a lot with traveling. This is a pretty good day for travels. I'll give it to you. With two benefics in the third house and with Mercury in the sun in the fourth house, you know, you do want to have a secure home. Everything at home, make sure you take care of it, especially even having policies and home insurance, things like that. I think you're going to be thinking about that. I don't see anything terrible happening with your home right now, but I am seeing the need for personal security and.
