Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about probably one of my greatest achievements in life.
I always say, aside from my three beautiful sons, which Christian, Preston and Austin, that is my greatest achievement in my life. But otherwise I think it's probably the University of Vedic Astrology. I put together an entire course that can teach you Vedic Astrology. And I mean this, you can learn to become an astrologer. We teach people how to actually be astrologers and run a business even, or if you just want astrology for your family and research, whatever. I call this the Divine Science. It is truly that. It is a science and you will learn it. If you come to the university with willingness to learn, we will do everything in our power to guide you to to learn this divine science. Let me tell you a little bit about how we call it UVA University of Vedic Astrology. How it works. There are six semesters. Five of those semesters you will have eight videos per semester. And after each video you watch, they're pre recorded. So this is all self paced. You will take a test after each video.
Once you fill out that test, you have a live tutor that's assigned to you that will grade your tests and answer your questions. Now if you get anything wrong, then those are the ones you have to go back and redo till you get them all right. There are no grades. It's just based on learning, getting it right. So essentially with five semesters and eight tests per semester, eight videos and eight tests, there's 40 videos and 40 tests. Once you complete that, then you go to the last semester, the sixth semester and the sixth semester you do all the work. You will be assigned cases of certain events and you have to make the prediction. So what are these events? There's one on marriage. There's one on career. There's one on opportunities with career. There's one that deals with health and healing disease. There's one on when somebody came into money. You make all these predictions yourself. Now you're going to be given a birth chart and you have to figure out within a certain time range when it happened using all the principles that you were taught throughout the university. And you will be able to make these predictions. Now don't worry if you get it wrong, you just have to keep going back to the drawing board. This is how you learn till you get it right. And once you've completed semester six.
Then you have your final exam which is reading a chart for a real person. I'm going to be there and I'm going to be guiding you in helping you in that last test. So once you graduate then you will, if you want, become a tutor and grade people's tests. And yes, you'll make money at this. And the university is built so that eventually once you graduate you can start having your own classes. On my platform on uva, that's my dream, to have all the students having their own classes. And I mean professional classes. My protege, Srikala Ram, she has done a fabulous class series on Jaimini astrology. She has two separate courses where you can become proficient in that astrology. And she was one of my students graduate and now she has her own classes. You have the capability to do this, but otherwise we teach you even how to set up your own business as an astrologer. We help and guide you with that. So you can even be on the website for people to pick and choose from astrologers if they want to get you to do their reading. I mean, this is an incredible opportunity, uva. And some people ask me, how long does it take to get through uva? Usually I'd say if you take your time, it's a little less than a year. Okay, some people do it in half the time. But here's another great advantage about uva. The most important and the best one, number one, it never expires. So if you start and life gets in the way, you can come back and restart that semester that you missed out on. When I start over, I started over usually once or twice a year. Twice a year is what I start over from semester one. But let me tell you, not only does it never expire, I do live classes every week. So everyone that doesn't know anything about this starts with semester one and starts from the very, very beginning. This is what semester one is. Then I have semester two. Each semester builds on the other one. So you have to take one before you take the other one to get proficient and by the time you can do the last semester. But here's what's so lovely. I do live classes along with the pre recorded ones that you take the test with and you're able to ask me questions and in any of these live classes and since it never expires, you can come back and watch these classes live anytime.
