Joni Patry promotes the "Nine Jewels of the Lotus" conference in Sedona, Arizona (August 20–25), where she will teach an all-day workshop on August 20. The workshop covers Vedic astrology fundamentals—reading the birth chart via bhavas (houses), signs, and aspects (drishti)—and a second session focused on the three outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto), their historical discoveries, and their generational/global influences. She notes the event is in a spiritual vortex (Sedona), is nearly full, and has only 108 seats.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about an incredible event that you're going to want to know about and you're going to want to be part of. And this is a conference I'm going to be speaking at called the Nine Jewels of the Lotus. And it is August 20th through August 25th. I'm going to be there August 20th and I have an all day workshop. The first part of the day, I'm going to be talking about the fundamentals of Joe Tisch. So for all of you that have always wanted to learn Vedic astrology and you want to be in person with the teacher, ask questions, be where you can really absorb everything. Because let me tell you where this conference is. It's in one of the most beautiful spiritual vortexes on planet Earth and that is Sedona, Arizona. So you've got to come, you've got to meet me. This is in Sedona. Let me tell you a bit more about this amazing conference that is being put on. And you know something else, you need to know this right away. It is almost full. So to be there in person. We only have 108 seats and it's almost full. So that's why I'm doing this right now, so that you can get involved and get a seat and be there. So this conference, the first half of the day, I'm going to be giving you the basics, everything you need to know to read a chart, to read a Vedic chart. So that's a lot. But I'm telling you I can cover it and you can ask questions, you can be where you can truly absorb all this material because it's live in person, this is rare. Now I'm going to be talking about how to read the Vedic birth chart. And what that pretty much entails is going to be about the bhavas, which are the houses. What do all the houses mean? If you get that foundation of what the houses mean, you're there because I look at the houses as the stage where the planets perform. And then you get a total understanding of the planets and on top of that, the signs the planets are in. And last but not least, when you understand the aspects, drishti, then you can put it all together and by the end of this class, I promise you, you will be able to read a birth chart. Not in its entirety of the extreme hard aspects, but you will have the basis. And this is all you really need to be able to read a Vedic chart. I'm going to be there. I'm going to make sure you understand. Now, the second of the day will be, I have to confess my favorite, because I'm going to be talking about the three outer planets. And I love these three outer planets because what they're about is they really do depict what is going on globally in the world. The collective consciousness of generations and people on planet Earth. And let me tell you a little bit about these three outer planets. I became so involved with them. I actually wrote a book on each, each of the outer planets because there's so much that they reveal to our awareness and to our planet. So in this class, I'm going to talk about what these planets, when they were discovered, what they brought into awareness and consciousness on planet Earth, because they truly are something that made the world change. So when Uranus was discovered, it actually brought in the industrial revolution, Because Uranus is about discovery, it's about the future, and it's even about astrology. But it deals with sudden, unexpected changes and it deals with technology, aircraft. So things changed radically after its discovery. Then we had the discovery of Neptune. And when Neptune was discovered, what it brought into our awareness and consciousness was film and photography. And that was the start of photography and silent movies. Neptune makes illusion that we believe looks real, but it's not. And that's exactly the experience we have when we go to the movies. We feel like we've left the world and gone somewhere else. And that's the beauty of Neptune, of course, it deals with many other things. And we're going to be talking about what these three planets will bring to our world.
In future events. So moving on to Pluto. Pluto came about with the discovery of nuclear atomic energy. And we're going to talk a lot about that because so much is about to happen in our world involving Pluto. But here's another thing that is so fascinating about these outer planets. Certain generations are born under these signs that the outer planets are in, such as Uranus is in a sign for seven years. Therefore, everyone born within that seven year span has a certain way of looking at the world as well. As Neptune stays in a sign for 12 years. That generation of people have a completely different way of looking at the world and looking at Pluto. Pluto can stay in a sign for a lot longer because of its elliptical orb. At one point, it was only in a sign for 12 years. And now it's extending to many more years. And it can even be in a sign for 30 years.
But this particular planet transforms and changes the world. And people with Pluto in a particular sign will be different from other generations. You see, they form the generations. And as these planets form aspects to each other, they form world events. Such as in the 60s when we had Uranus and Pluto conjoined for many years, throughout the 60s and the beginning of the 70s. And this was a time of of radical change and evolution on our planet. Look back at the 60s. All those crises were formed because of this conjunction. And we have many other conjunctions that we'll talk about. The Neptune. Let's see. It was. The Neptune came together with Uranus. That's what it was in the early 90s. During this time we had the cell phone and technology advanced by eons. Within that time period, computers, the technology changed. This is the beauty of understanding the outer planets. I am going to convey so much information also what we can expect in the future with the revelations of where these planets are going and their aspects. On top of that, we are going to have a night where there's going to be a panel that discusses the future. I will be on that panel and I believe it's on Friday night. Don't miss it. I will be giving future predictions. So remember that this conference is is going to be from August 20th through the 25th. I'm there all day Wednesday. Come meet me on August 20th. I would love to meet you and we can talk and get down to studying deeply astrology. So this conference goes on for five days and let me give you the the criterion, the faculty that will be at this amazing event. So we have Camilla Sutton, Dennis Harness, Charlotte Benson, David Frawley and Shambhavi Yogini Kasanti and Eve Mendoza. So this is a conference with deep profound teachers. And Dr. Pai will be there too too. I can't wait to hear all of them talk. But I will be totally there to meet everyone on Wednesday, August 20th in beautiful Sedona. This will be held at the Sedona Conscious Living Center. And once again, the name of this conference that you won't want to miss is called Nine Jewels of the Lotus and it is a Sedona astrology conference. So don't miss it.
