Events That Changed the World Forever : Princess Diana

Joni Patry analyzes Princess Diana's fatal car crash on August 31, 1997, through astrology. She points to transiting Neptune conjunct Diana's natal Saturn in the 3rd house of short journeys, transiting Uranus on her Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, and transiting Pluto in a quincunx with her Mercury as markers of the accident.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about some events that I want to say rocked the world. And I'm going to be doing a series on all of these events that some of them definitely changed the world, made the world a different place since they occurred. But with this one, I think this is one of the ones that really rocked our world. And everyone around the world was somehow had feelings about this event. And what this event is, is the death of Princess Diana. Mean, everyone kind of like couldn't believe it happened, first of all. So I want to put up the chart of Princess Diana, and I want to talk about.
What caused this event. Because with astrology, I always like to go over things that I feel like if we can prepare, we could possibly avert and avoid these events altogether. I'm a firm believer in free will, but many times it seems like these events are fated. So let's go ahead and put up Princess Diana's chart. With this chart for Diana, I have Scorpio as her ascendant. And what's so interesting is when I went to look at all the transits happening in her chart, I felt like the ones that were the most meaningful were the transits of the outer planets. Now, the reason why I'm making such a big deal about this is traditionally Vedic astrologers do not use the outer planets. But you see, my point with this is when outer planets are involved in these major events, they affect the world. And why do I say that? Because the outer planets, essentially, they don't have any connection in the Vedic astrology system, because the only planets that are traditionally are the ones that are seen by the naked eye. So therefore, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are not included when we look at house rulers and work with the planets in terms of events. But when we're looking at major events that affect us psychologically, remember psychologically, our mind, our awareness, our subconscious mind that's literally connected in some way to everything and everyone.
But it's. So it affects everyone as well. But let's go ahead and plug in some of the transits that were aspecting Princess Diana's chart at the time of her accident, which was August 31, 1997.
And on that day, I want you to look at where the outer planets are, focusing on the outer planets, because these are the ones that were the big triggers for that day. The faster moving planets were not exact, but the outer planets were. So I think this is a very interesting case study. So looking at where Transiting Neptune was. Plug it in. It was at 3 degrees of Capricorn. That is exactly. Well, it was 3 degrees, almost at 4 degrees, less than a degree exactly on her natal Saturn. In the third house.
Also transiting Uranus, which is the planet of unexpected events, accidents.
Earthquakes, just things that shake everyone up. It was at 11 degrees of Capricorn. Plug it in. It sits right on her Jupiter. So her Jupiter Saturn conjunction, which are actually indicators of major change when they come together. They come together every 20 years.
So she was born under this conjunction. This flavors the entire year. But Uranus and Neptune were right on this conjunction exactly in the third house, which actually is the house of short distance travels. So it's cars. And she was actually in an accident in a car. But one thing I want you to make reference to, Neptune deals with things we cannot see. Neptune deals with things we do not know. It's confusion, it's a fog.
And we don't know the truth because Neptune deals with secrets. Another thing is Neptune does deal with drinking, it does deal with alcohol. Ways we escape this world. And it is right there on Saturn as well.
But the thing that's really got me now, those are pretty.
Eye openers, I thought. But when I pulled in Pluto, now Pluto is major, major change in transformation. And I plugged it in and Pluto is right there at 9 degrees of Scorpio. Now it's approaching our ascendant. But Pluto moves really slow. I want to see some exact hits. I don't want to see an orb of 15, you know, even beyond 5 degrees. So when I plugged it in, I noticed that mercury is 9 degrees of Gemini. And here's something maybe you don't know. Whenever I look for accidents, something very vile, death and accidents, let me just put it that way. I look for a certain aspect called a quincunx in Western astrology. But in Vedic astrology it's called a shastaka, which actually means 6, 8 or 8. 6. And whenever planets are in this aspect, they really do give the reference point of the sixth house, which can be illness and accidents, and the eighth house, which is death or disgrace, scandals and humiliation. So in other words, they give six, eight. Just like the houses, the sixth house and the eighth house. This aspect is when you count from one planet to the other and it's either six or eight. And when you count back to the planet you started with, it's six or eight. So let's go to Pluto. Pluto being in Scorpio, count to Mercury and you count the house that it's in as one. So 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. So Mercury goes eight placements from where transiting Pluto is and count from Mercury back to where Pluto is, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. So you've got the 86 relationship. And it is the most difficult and deals with accidents. So many people that died in plane crashes, especially 9 11. I have some of the data for that. Almost all of them had a 6, 8 relationship of transiting planets to a natal planet. So with that, I want you to really understand how important this is. And another thing, when we talk about events that rock the world, there's got to be a transit that's really, really important that is causing this for everyone to wake up. Well, first of all, the outer planets deal with the collective unconscious. So the world was awakened to this. But when I looked at the transits for that day, I noticed that Saturn was at 25 degrees, Rahu was at 25 degrees. So Saturn is at 25 degrees on that day, Pisces and Rahu was 25 degrees of Leo. And if you count from those planets, you will get a 6, 8 relationship. So why am I pointing this out.
In terms of what was going on in that day? Because that day everyone had an effect when they heard the news that Princess Diana died in a car crash. So the transits for the day reflect the masses and what everyone's going through. And Saturn and Rahu are very, very intense. And in this aspect represents a sadness that the whole world experienced. All around the world sat Saturn and Rahu moved slow enough that this was a long range effect that affected everyone. So you see in the big picture there's something going on that everyone is affected by. But when you plug it into the individual chart, you see specifically what's happening to that person. But the outer planets affecting her chart the way they did represents that this was a collective unconscious effect of the sadness and the shock that we all felt when we discovered that she died on that day, August 31st of 1997.
