Everyone Sees New Beginnings in This Aries Full Moon. Here's What Joni Patry Sees on October 26

In this solo YouTube monologue, Vedic astrologer Joni Patry interprets the October 26 full moon that occurs in Aries using sidereal calculations. She frames Aries as the sign of rapid new beginnings and explains how the full moon’s illumination brings heightened awareness. Key astrological configurations are unpacked: the Sun in Libra conjunct Venus (justice, negotiations), the Moon in Aries exchanging signs with Mars in Cancer (parivartana) which she links to public anger, financial strain, and family tension; Ashwini nakshatra’s healing symbolism; Jupiter at the water‑sign Gandanta point in Cancer (emotional overflow, storms); and Venus retrograde’s demand for compromise. Patry stresses that the current climate threatens family structures and societal stability, urging listeners to prioritize community and familial bonds. She concludes with promotional calls‑to‑action for her Galactic Planner app, Vedic astrology courses, and a newsletter.

Hi, I'm Joni Patry, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the full moon that's going to be happening October 26th. And this full moon will be happening in Aries. And remember, I am a Vedic astrologer and I use the sidereal calculations, which are different than the tropical Western. So Aries is the sign of new beginnings, fresh new starts. Aries is energetic, it goes 100 miles an hour. It's about new pioneers with new things, a new beginning. And it moves really swift and fast. So even though Mercury has just turned retrograde, we still have some new things that are taking place. And I think these new things, it's all around spending, it's all around money, everything is focalized through that. But there's new negotiations happening Because with this new moon— I mean, full moon— we have the Sun in Libra really close to Venus. And so Venus is the planet of peace, negotiations, and love, but most of all in Libra where the Sun is, it deals with justice. And that's something that I think has been ignored for a long time— finding justice, finding the right thing. But this moon means that everything's going to start moving faster in this domain and where it's headed, because for justice. Why? Because it's in Aries— fast movement. And there can be some new discoveries around Healing, because Ashwini, that nakshatra, deals with the healers to the gods. So we're going to find that things progress in the area of medicine and healing as well around the time of this full moon. Remember, a full moon lights up the darkness of the sky. Therefore, a full moon is so important because it brings a new Awareness. Okay, and that's confirmation when I hear a ding. So most importantly about this full moon is that while the moon sits in Aries and Mars is in Cancer— Cancer is ruled by the moon and Aries is ruled by Mars, so there's a mutual exchange of signs between Mars and the moon. And this is really important in astrology. In Vedic, it's called a parivartana, and what it does is connects these planets and what they're all about. But I will say, most people think it's all good, but a parivartana just simply connects the energies intrinsically all together. And what that means is Mars being in Cancer Well, it's, it's not so bad being in Cancer when you have this, but still, Cancer deals with insecurity and needs protection, while the Moon in Aries exchanging can deal with anger. You know, Mars is anger all by itself, and the Moon and Mars— the Moon meaning the public, Mars meaning the anger— the public's angry. And I think it's always boiling down to finances. You know, things have gotten out of hand with the expense of everything, and if this continues to grow, people get angrier. Why can't they afford anything anymore? Their life's getting more difficult with the added expense. This will tear down the society, and more than anything It will tear down families because that's what the sign Cancer is all about. And if I have ever said anything with more emphasis, it's not more than saying this: family is the crux and the foundation of any society. If you don't have family, family values, and people working together with love and connection in a family, your society will be destroyed. And that's what's trying to happen right now. We cannot destroy the family unit. This is the most important thing. And I think this full moon brings this to the surface. I really think this is important. And during this full moon, we also have Jupiter Gandanta. Meaning it is in the last degree of water, hyping things up. People are becoming out of control emotionally. Furthermore, it can mean storms. Gandanta means— well, it relates to a sense of drowning. People are out of control, literally, figuratively. This can mean storms and shakeups throughout the globe. These are critical times with Jupiter Gandanta in the sign of Cancer with Mars. And another thing is the Venus retrograde, all the negotiations. And it is necessary, the things that need to happen to change the world for better, but so many people are resistant and don't want to work at it. We have to work together, and that's another symbolic astrology for the sign Libra. Libra is about connecting and helping one another, relationships. And I don't just mean love and romance, I mean all relationships of learning to work together. And usually what that means, through negotiations there must be compromise. That's just— that is a key word for Libra. And that's where the Sun and the Moon are opposing between Aries and Libra, and finding our place to be better, to help one another. Not only putting yourself first as Aries, but helping relationships work as in Libra. Those 2 forces are coming together and working out compromise. That's what I feel like this full moon is about— negotiations and compromise and bringing things to justice and finding our sense of security. And the way that I encourage everyone to find their sense of security is through community and family. Connect, make it work. Don't be the one that separates, be the one that connects. This is vitally important during this time, and it will make your life better. That's the most important thing that you have to realize and know. So with that, I think I'll close.
