How to Find the Career You're Best Suited For in Your Birth Chart

Hi, I'm Joni Patry, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, I want to talk about career, how you can find out what career you're best suited for. And this will entail mainly knowing your ascendant. And from that, you gotta know what your 10th house is all about. The 10th house is the house for your career, and career is mainly in astrology looked at as your purpose, not just how, how you're making money, but your purpose in life. Actually, how you make your money will be with the 2nd house. That's another whole dilemma that we have to go through. to understand how you make your money and what your career is. So basically, we're going to be looking at both in this dissertation. So let's get going. Without you having to do all the work. But here I'm going to give you the lowdown of what you need to look for. So looking at this, going to your 10th house, if you can see what planets are in your 10th house, this will speak volumes about who you are and what you're here to do. So let's go to your 10th house and Really, you don't even have to know what your ascendant is. Just look at the planets there in the 10th house, first of all. So if you have the Sun in the 10th house, you lucked out because this is the most powerful planet to be in your 10th house. This means you are meant to have your own job, your own career, your own business. You need to be the boss. No one else can tell you what to do with the Sun there. If you have the Moon there, this can mean that you're going to be quite well known for something that you do, and you will be the best. The Moon in the 10th house many times means fame, recognition. Why? The Moon is the public, and placed in the 10th house, everyone's looking to you. So if you are a builder, you will be known to be the best builder. If you are a plumber, you will be known to be the best plumber. If you go into acting, you could be very famous with the Moon in the 10th house. If you have Mercury in your 10th house, you should be in a line of work that deals with communication skills, reporting, newscasting, information, teaching, anything to do with information, even being part of social media, computers, information, ways to get information across to people with Mercury being in the 10th house. If you have Venus in your 10th house, then this means that you should be in a business that deals with beauty, maybe fashion, maybe art, even selling something that deals with beauty, interior design. It can even be something to do with perfume, flowers, anything that deals with beauty, decorating, or art, even music. So Venus there brings out the artistic flair and creativity in the workplace. If you have Mars in the 10th house, you're very ambitious and driven, and you will be very successful. And sometimes Mars can even deal with sports and/or computers, technology. It can deal with engineers or people that build things, and it can even deal with real estate if your Mars is in your 10th house. So if you have Saturn in the 10th house, it means your work ethic is remarkable. You, you're always on time, you take care of business, you're organized, you're focused, and you put a lot of effort into work in business, and it can even mean you work for the government. Yes. Now Jupiter in the 10th house means opportunities come your way all the time, and Jupiter can also even deal with things such as teaching, higher-minded philanthropy, anything to do with higher level of teaching, a professor, a teacher. Remember, the word for guru in Vedic astrology— I mean, for Jupiter is guru. So the teacher, the philosopher, the spiritualist, and/or many opportunities come in whatever business you're in if you have Jupiter in your 10th house. So if you have Rahu in your 10th house, this would mean a career of expansion, of gains. You know the right people, you're well connected, and it means great success. But Rahu can also deal with technology as well, and even the outer planet Uranus in the 10th house can deal with— you deal with technology in some respect and/or something that deals with energy, electricity, vibrational frequencies, maybe working with that even in the, in the realm of healing. But you can be someone who is very futuristic, an inventor, predicts the future in some way with Uranus being in the 10th house. Rahu will give a similar feel, and even Rahu in the 10th house can deal with aircraft machinery travel, those type of things. But so can Uranus, an inventor. If you have Neptune in the 10th house, you could be into film or photography and/or even the— in the oil business, dealing with oil and gas. But it can also deal with things with water, the oceans, shipping, things like that. If you have Pluto in the 10th house, you are in control. This is great power, and you can deal with some very powerful people, but you tend to be a little bit over the top dealing with issues around control and manipulation. But hey, you'll probably get exactly what you want because of this tendency to be in control And to be able to manipulate other people. So let's see, did I miss anything? We went through the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu. Now let's talk about Ketu. Ketu in the 10th house means you could change jobs a lot. Remember, Ketu is looked upon as being the eternal gypsy, change all the time, moving about. If you have Ketu in the 10th house, you don't want to be in the same place all the time. You have to be moving about. And it also means a very unusual work or career. It means that you could be really traveling all the time, or something unusual like my career. An astrologer, something that is not of the conservative norm at all out there. So very unusual, very unique. Yes, I have Ketu in the 10th house from my Moon, so that is— I have a very unusual job. Trust me, when people ask me what I do in the conservative world, they look at me very strangely. At first, when I say I'm an astrologer, they say, what? But that's an unusual job. They didn't expect that. So that covers all the planets being in the 10th house. Now, the next thing that you want to look for is the planet that rules your 10th house. So for many of us, we don't have any planets in the 10th house, right? So whatever planet rules your 10th house. So let's go with what house the planet that rules your 10th house sits in. If you have no planets there, this is going to tell you volumes about what your career and business is all about. So if you have the ruler of the 10th house in your 1st house and you have the ruler of the 1st and/or Or you have the ruler of the 1st in the 10th, then I'm telling you, your work, your career is so important. It is how you define yourself through your job, through your work, your career. Ruler of the 10th in the 1st, and even when the 1st house ruler goes to the 10th, it's like your work and your career is everything. But it's who you are, it's what you're all about. It is your focus. You love your career, business, work, and you have an incredible work ethic. So if the ruler of the 10th house goes to the 2nd house, and even if the 2nd house ruler goes to the 10th house, either way, then you will make a lot of money through your work. But if the ruler of the 10th house is in the 2nd house, you could be in a field of finances, dealing with money, dealing with working with families and their money, investments. That type of work would be the most appropriate, or what you really love to make money at. Dealing with money in banks, in investments, with people, with families— this type of work is important to you. Money's important to you, number one. If the ruler of the 10th is in the 3rd, then you could be a teacher. And/or you could travel. Lots of travel will be involved in your work. Maybe you commute, maybe you're in sales because you can convince anybody of anything. Ruler of the 10th and the 3rd— sales, traveling short distances by car. And the other thing is the 3rd house, because it does deal with travel and education, you could travel for your business, but you might be an educator, you might be a teacher, you might have something to do with books or information, or even the media. 3rd house deals with media in, in a big way, and the entertainment field. You're highly creative when the ruler of the 10th is in the 3rd. Let's talk about the ruler of the 10th in the 4th. You could have a career in real estate, selling real estate, or investing in real estate, or even buildings, something to do with houses or property or land. When the ruler of the 10th is in the 4th. And you could even deal with vehicles or cars, selling those or somehow investing in that. Something to do with real estate or vehicles would be your niche. And property— so it could deal with anything to do with property, land, or real estate. That would be an interest. If you have the ruler of the 10th in the 5th, you're highly, highly creative. New, plenty of ideas. You could be an entrepreneur, you can be an investor, love to work with the stock market, investing, taking risks. And/or you could even deal with children, maybe teaching children or something to do with a product for children in that respect. And/or you could be an entertainer, an actor, or a writer. And I forgot to mention, the ruler of the 10th in the 3rd could be a writer as well. The 3rd house and the 5th house deal with writing, expressing yourself, and creativity. If you have the ruler of the 10th in the 6th, then you could be a doctor, you could be into the healing field, you could help people in some way, or even in a service industry such as restaurants, such as flight attendants, But you serve the public in some way, and/or you're into health or healing, or you can even be into pets, small animals, with the ruler of the 10th in the 6th. If the ruler of the 10th is in the 7th, you work so much better in a partnership business where you have partners to help one another, and/or you could have met your spouse through your work and you end up working and/or you end up working with your spouse in business. But partnerships are a major component to your work, and you are very successful because the 7th house is another house that can deal with business as well. If you have the ruler of the 10th in the 8th, you could be into psychology, a psychologist, psychiatrist, Something that deals with research, analysis, and even a detective. And/or you deal with insurance, insurance policies, things that give protection to people. Or you could even deal with people when they die. You could be a psychic for that matter, dealing with— a medium, I mean. And then maybe you actually deal with funeral homes, or maybe you help people transition in the life process. But some way you're going to be involved with something deep, profound, and working with death, dying, or the other side, or research-oriented things, or detective work, or even science, because this goes deep into analyzing things on the deepest core level. Looking up who owns what deed and who owns what property. You will be involved with maybe finding relatives or things of this nature with their demise, their death, or even helping people with their inheritances, that type of thing. Even maybe having where people sell off their things once someone's gone. That's another thing. Now let's go to if the ruler of the 10th is in the 9th house. This can be a career in law and/or teaching, university professors, but it could be a lawyer, someone that gives advice to others with the legal process, with laws. And/or it could be someone that travels for a business long distance. Can even deal with shipping and all sorts of things like dealing with overseas long-distance travel. But most of all, it will deal with spirituality. And if you do have the ruler of the 10th in the 9th, it means you're very, very lucky. With your work and your career. You may teach spirituality. You could be a priest, a leader that teaches the truth, spirituality, a coach, anything to do with that. You can even find that you may work with your father. If you have the ruler of the 10th in the 10th, wow, this is like a focus for work, career. You're highly, highly successful. Successful. Yes, there is a focus between work and career, and you will make it. If you have the ruler of the 10th in the 11th, then you make it through your connections, people you know. You're amazing with organizing people, being someone that manages people for organizations. This is your gift. People like being around you, and you have many friends in your workplace. You associate with the people you work with. They're your friends. But most of all, you're going to find great connections are going to be what help you the most with your work and your career— the people you know. And if you have an older sibling, you might even end up working with them or get your start with them in some way. But friends and groups and organizations are going to be your thing. That could even be your work, even finding grants for people because you help organizations in a great way. If the ruler of the 10th is in the 12th, then you may work with foreigners overseas, maybe even dealing with the shipping industry. You could even be an astronaut going beyond this world. You could even be an actor because this is behind the scenes being— creating the illusion of film and movies. And with the ruler of the 10th in the 12th, you could work for charities, charitable foundations, or organizations to help them come together with the money they need. And you will travel to foreign places with your work and/or work with foreign people in your work. You can work with the oceans, the seas. You can work with what's beyond this world. It is an amazing placement for generosity and giving, especially with charities. And you could work in a hospital. The ruler of the 10th in the 12th can work in hospitals or institutions, even a prison. And if the ruler of the 10th is in the 6th, you could be a doctor working in institutions. But actually, the 12th deals with large institutions such as hospitals, such as prisons, any kind of huge institution you can be a part of and helping and healing. So I think I've covered a lot of information for you to know something about, giving you a little clue on what career you are meant to be in. And pretty much this is going to tell you how you're going to make your money and give you security in your life through your career and through your work.
