Full Moon in Cancer - January 17: Our Security Is Threatened

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the full moon that's going to be happening January 17th and the sign of Cancer. And the Nakshatra it will be in is called Pusha. Now, of course, I am talking about the sidereal Vedic placements of the planets, not the tropical western. So continuing on, let's talk about this full moon. Remember, I always say that a full moon is when it lights up the darkness of the sky. It brings light to the darkness, which means wherever this full moon is the sign, the Nakshatra, that's going to be what is lit up in our lives, what it's all about, in other words. So Cancer is the sign that deals with, number one, security. And when the moon is in Cancer, this is the sign of deep emotion. So you're going to find that this is a very, very emotional full moon. And another thing about the full moon lighting up the night sky, but it's also when the moon becomes full two weeks after the new moon. So when we have a new moon later, two weeks after what the new moon, the seeds that were planted are brought to life. And this new moon that just occurred two weeks ago occurred in the sign of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is about finding the truth. So now that the full moon comes together, two weeks following in Cancer, what it brings to light is the things that we feel the most insecure about. Remember, Cancer is about security. And if this is going to bring issues around security, it brings up our issues around insecurity. So so many things are going to be happening this month, Let me just tell you, especially really kind of beginning with this Mercury retrograde. That's going to happen on the 14th. Then on the 17th, we have the full moon. And this moon which brings things to its greatest brightness is going to bring the issues of what Cancer deals with nourishment. And so does the Nakshatra. Pusha. Pusha is actually a Nakshatra where its symbols is the cow udder. So this is what delivers milk, gives nourishment, gives food. And that's what the sign's about. Protection, nourishment, security, mothering, feeling, a sense of being taken care of. But this is going to bring up the yin and the yang of this issue of security versus insecurity. And what it's going to tell us is because it deals with nourishment, I believe it deals with food and the food industry. Therefore, we're going to see all sorts of things occurring concerning our food industry, such as the prices of food are going to escalate. Imagine that even more. And the supply and demand.

The ability to deliver on time, the ability to transport all these things are going to really, really be difficult. Because I see with Mercury going retrograde, by the way, in the sign of Capricorn. It's about government, it's about money, it's about finances. So this full Moon is relative to the increase in the finances around the world. With the onset of the virus and all of the repercussions that have happened following it's increased our problems around our financial markets. Shutdowns do not help the world in terms of the economy. So you're going to see. And the fuel prices even go up more. We haven't seen the end to this because now what we're going to start dealing with is the feelings of insecurity, not having enough food, not having enough of the things that give us a sense of security that also goes with our government in terms of keeping the countries secure and safe. Cancer is a sign of safety. So aside with the escalating prices of food and not being able to transport the food because of the fuel prices going up, we're also going to have, which comes to our awareness and our light, so many problems around safety and security. So this can mean it's bringing up the threats of violence, of attacks, things on this level, because that is definitely an area that makes us feel very, very insecure. Now, another thing that really, really stands out about this Full Moon is that it's going to be opposed to almost exactly Pluto. And Pluto is the planet that deals with control, manipulation and power. And what is that about?

Remember that a Full Moon is when the sun and the Moon are in opposition. And the sun is exactly conjunct Pluto around this time, the sun represents. And it's in Capricorn. So sun and Pluto are in Capricorn. That represents governments and power. Pluto, though, can be devastating sometimes, but through devastation, it brings transformation. So through destruction, it brings transformation. And with the sun, the sun can usually represent those who are in power. So it represents those that control and are in power. So this represents the governments, this represents leaders. The sun can represent presidents. And Pluto with the sun can be very devastating.

It can be transformational too. But it could have something to do with a loss around leaders around the world or an ending of something possibly of different governments or people resigning or people quitting or somehow taking taken out of office.

But this brings it all to light. The full Moon is opposing these two planets. And don't forget the full Moon is opposing Saturn and Mercury. Not exactly by degree, but there's a lineup of Pluto, Sun, Saturn and Mercury all in Capricorn, while the Moon opposes it, bringing to light all the workings of what's been happening in the governments, the sense of insecurity that they have created in the world, even in how they've been handling the virus. And this goes for everyone around the world. No one has really understood what to do about this virus. It's controlled all of our lives around the world. And now the repercussions of everything that's been happening for two years is now taking place with our food supply and our economy and prices of everything escalated, escalating at this time. But something big will be happening this month as we have Pluto opposing the Moon. And I think it's going to bring to the awareness of everyone probably about how we've been controlled. When you really think about Pluto, meaning control and the Moon being emotions and no one likes to be controlled. So the more that the governments try to create lockdowns and controls, the more the people will become angry and rebel. And I think this year, yes, I think we're going to see the coronavirus.

We'll be able to live with it. We'll see it in the rear view mirror pretty much, and we'll learn how to live within this. So in other words, it won't control us, but at the same time we will see the light as to what has been going on with the controls that have been happening, how they've been controlling us throughout all this time with the virus and why.

Very important question why. But I think what's going to be happening is many more, many more people are going to be asking why? Because nothing's adding up, especially with what's happening throughout the rest of the year of 2022. Because 2022 will be very different. It's not about the virus.

But it's about governments and it's about leadership and why everything happened. And most of all the transformation that will take place because of the realizations of everything that has been brought clearly into our face and especially around this full Moon. The full Moon brings to light that which was planted from the New Moon. And remember the new Moon being in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the sign finding the truth of spirituality and philosophy.

And on top of that, what we have is the realization of what has been happening. And even if people don't get it yet.

It'S becoming clearer and more obvious. By the end of 2022, they will get it. Everyone will see clearly. While many may not want to believe, but you know, it'll be visible with your own two eyes. Everyone. And I think this is going to. Eventually it has to create a better world because all the corruption that's been going on for so many years finally comes to light. I know I've been saying that a long time, but you know, it doesn't happen overnight. It happens little by little by little. But for so long, many years ago, there was no light and none of the corruption could be seen. And now it's visible. Therefore, it's going to create a much better world. So look at this full moon as the awareness opens, the sense of looking for security, look for that security within yourself. Because nobody can give you security but yourself. That sense of peace. And find the love and peace within yourself. And it's there. I promise. That's the only thing that will give you your sense of security. To know that always everything happens for a divine reason and everything is going to turn out okay. But like I keep saying, we've got to go through the tunnel to get there. And there's no way to heal unless you know what the problem is. And now the problem is being revealed. Clearly this full moon will bring things forward in a very, very emotional way. Cancer is the most hypersensitive sign of the zodiac and it deals with food and nourishment and the way that we find security. So find that source, security and that nourishment within yourself by knowing that you can make the world better by finding peace and love within your heart, putting that there and putting it outward in the world.
